The root cause of the problem is the legal provision that agricultural income is non-taxable. So farmers (!?) etc can be roped into show that money was all due to the agricultural work put in. It is high time that agricultural farming is also considered as another business/profession and taxed.
The problem is Farmers are under a lot stress, majority of them. And like it or not no politician worth his salt has a chance in country with 60% rural population to mention Income tax on farmers, moreover, given the vagaries of moonsoon etc. Calculating actual profits of Farmers is dificult with middlemen etc like taking a lot of the money.

But slowly as urbanization is taking over these problems will become much smaller. A lot has been achived in 10 years, it will take another 15 years to properly see the results, can Indians stay the course?
Governance is key., as it is only the like of Modi/Yogi can provide stable governance for the near future., no comes close even remotely

This won't be a problem. The Italians will never, ever visit the Mandir even later.

Since 2019 Pappu is fully beholden to the peaceful people for his own seat in Kerala. His constituency is 45% peaceful. If they turn on him where will he find another safe seat?

+1

The farm laws issue showed how the lobbies (supported by BIFs) in even one state can delay/veto/cancel reforms to protect their interests.

So imagine what the lobbies across multiple states would do on such a major issue of direct taxation of income of a huge population who have never paid taxes under the heading. Not to mention it will result in price rises which the non-farming class (especially the middle class) will have to foot.

Manish ji,

Yes indeed, but the famiglia has a longish history of rabid temple opposition starting from great grandpop right down to the eyetaalian infestation.

she funded a vengeful bunch of culturally traitorous lawyers to oppose the temple and they actually gave an affidavit to say that Lord Ram was imaginary..... That will be very hard to live down, especially in todays culturally charged atmosphere, right in the midst of the majority's civilizational revival upsurge.

But goongi gudiya was an exception, but she is justifiably adaptable as an honorary and also honourable addition into the pantheon of nationalistic leaders and the saffron brigade has the lock on that. She is somewhat tarnished by her disastrous actions at shimla where she let go 93k paki jihadis gratis after being bamboozled by bhutto.... not to mention op bluestar

all in all, it is a potent weapon that has fortuitously fallen into Modi's hands, and if used tactically, it can bury the congis.

BTW, her personal letter to the pope on the "sainthood" of teresa alone is worth being used as a major toolkit to take down the mafia famiglia.

khadge is bound to be triggered by all this, as will his verbally incontinent son, and hopefully that would help to rally the troops in KAR

In TN, karunanidhi's savage jab on the sethu samudram issue: "from which college did Lord ram do his engineering" will be used by Annamalai in a similar fashion.

The Ayodhya issue will be kept in the lime light long after the pran pratishta ceremony and, that will seriously disturb many in the dotty alliance who are dependant on the majority votes.

The Sanatanis will also not stay quiet during all this because their vote banks have Ram bakths that the dotty gang simply cannot ignore....

Let's wait and see.

Agreed Chetak ji, but weapons have a shelf life. They need to be used before the expiry period or before they become obsolete
IMVHO with the completion of the Ram Mandir, this particular weapon will be past it's use by date.

For long decades, this paki lovers gang had tried their best to stop the takeover of "enemy property", wilfully aided and abetted by the congis...

until Modi came upon the scene and totally changed the sly games that were being played for long decades

Modi Govt is planning to sell over 2.91 lakh 'enemy property' shares in 84 companies

Assets left behind by people who have taken citizenship of Pakistan and China -- mostly between 1947 and 1962 -- are called 'enemy property

In the first tranche, the government is looking to sell about 1.88 lakh shares in 20 companies and has invited bids from 10 categories of buyers.

Manish ji,

If this is the tone and tenor that Modi has set in his speech before the pran pratishta ceremony, he is certainly not going to let up on the offensive....

It will only get more targeted and even more specific in detail

@ANI

#WATCH | Maharashtra: At a public event in Navi Mumbai, Prime Minister Narendra Modi says, "Our government's intention is clean... Those who ruled the nation for a long time, their intention and loyalty have always been under question. Their intention was to gain power only... They were only dedicated towards the development of their families... and this is why they were never able to think about Viksit Bharat..."

BTW, that letter of @romerani has already gone viral and has also been reported in the electronic and visual media

the tool kit has already taken shape, pending deployment

siddu the KAR CM has said that he is a "HINDU" and will visit ayodhya after the pran pratishta....

he has had to back track (and reconsider his position politically), after his deputy CM DKS has unilaterally ordered that all temples in KAR under the muzrai dept will perform special pujas on jan 22 at the auspicious time that the pran pratishta is being done in the Ram temple at Ayodhya. Private temples in KAR will anyway be doing such special pujas and no one can dare to stop them

muzrai and endowments minister ramalinga reddy said on Sunday that the government had issued an order to organise special pujas in all muzrai temples in the state on January 22, the day of the consecration of Ram mandir in Ayodhya.

reddy is a super sickular congi who has no option but to do what he was told or else he would have been bypassed and possibly shunted out by DKS in due course

A vast majority of temples in India are going to do this on jan 22 and people will throng to such places to be a part of the historic event

Yes I can see the excitement building around me, Chetak sir. Started with senior citizens but now I can hear even teenagers talking about it. In my housing society buildings. In the local trains I travel in.The autorickshaw and cab drivers. It's palpable now.

An ancient civilization, long suppressed, seems to be reawakening from it's induced slumber and realising how strong it has always been.

Historic moment, indeed

UP CM Yogi Adityanath handles these two questioners of India today, whose single agenda seems to be to rake up the opposition's viewpoint on Ram Mandir. Yogi firmly tells them that the opposition is full of it and none of it makes any sense.

BTW how ironic: Sitaram Yechury CPI and Jairam Ramesh of Kangress both have a connection to Ram in their names.

Home Ministry cancels FCRA registration of Centre for Policy Research.

The Centre for Policy Research is a think tank led by Congress leader Mani Shankar Aiyar's daughter, Yamini Aiyar.

According to officials, the cancellation of registration came after it was known that the institution was violating the FCRA regulations.

‘Yes Aurangzeb broke temples in Varanasi and Mathura… built mosques over them. There can be no two views… But can you break something that was built in 1670?” taunts Marxist ‘historian’ Irfan Habib of AMU who spent his life singing paeans to Mughals.

where the mistake was made was that in 1947 itself we did not reclaim our heritage, especially after the pakis took part of our land, and went their own way, why did we so foolishly continue to pander to the jihadis on both sides of the border.......

that was the time when all traces of these vermin should have been completely erased from Indian lands, as was our sovereign right....., but instead, we had over sexed chachas, so called apostles of peace and the BIF funded commies, along with unwanted viceroys and their ladies casting a spell over guys desperate for the international statesman status and their frenzied quest for the elusive nobel.....

and when the nobel wasn't forthcoming, (which, BTW, the vengeful britshits ensured that these guys didn't come, and never ever came within striking distance of the nobel) they fell back on the alternative and very conveniently awarded themselves Bharat Rathnas

Indian Civil Service Officer K K Nair and what he contributed towards the Ram Mandir movement is stupendous. A brave officer who defended the rights of worship of Hindus for Ram Lalla at Ayodhya during the 1949-50 era under Neverwho. He stood his ground and did not fold in. Later PM PVN Rao wrote about this man in his book on Ayodhya.

Please watch at around 2:45 onwards about this brave Indian and his contributions towards Ram Mandir.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B1pA94E3aTU

// these incidents must be part of our true history of struggle against past oppressions and destructions of India's sacred relics. K K Nair is a true patriot and must be honored for his immense contributions.

this is certainly an "extractive" deal because the congis are genetically incapable of entering into any other sort of deal

Adani signs 4 MoUs with Telangana at Davos.

- Adani Enterprises : 5,000 crore to set up 100 MW data centre.
- Adani Green : 5,000 crore to set up 2 pup storage projects.
- Ambuja Cements : 6 MTPA cement plant worth 1,400 crore.

Because of the work done by BJP, they are getting 60% votes in many Lok Sabha seats.

Akhilesh Yadav himself believes that people are voting for BJP because of work and that is why he is forming an alliance.

@chetak gaaru, ET folks seem to be clueless on IT. Or IT folks have become stupid themselves to measure how much data can be stored at the data centre depending on how much power the data centre gardware consumes.

One can use very power-hungry hardware to store 1 TB of data which consumes 100MW. :rotfl:

Excise policy case: Kejriwal likely to skip fourth summons by ED, to leave for Goa today
I now need to check what kind of powers does ED have over the suspects. Kejri ignores ED summons for the fourth time, KL commies also have ignored the same for a few times. Under what provisions of law is ED issuing summons? Sec 90 of Cr.PC allows any police officer to summon a witness to depose on a case he is investigating. Sec 41 and 41A Cr.PC also gives police officers the powers to arrest a suspect. In the Senthil Balaji case, Supreme Court held that Notice for appearance under Sec 41A Cr.PC is NOT required for arrest under provisions of PMLA. Sec 41 (that is arrest) is the option which is legally valid.

Wow!! What a "major" blow to secularism.
Central Govt. offices, industrial units to get holiday on Jan 22nd. That too after GoI getting an overwhelming requests from the employees :P ;). Yeevil Mudi is really rubbing salt on the wounds of the "seculars & liberals". Expect whines on productivity loss and religion spreading in government offices. I also hope commie trade union leaders & workers actually work double shift/over time in protest :D.

I think he is falling into the Centre's trap. He is better off deposing before ED. I doubt they have enough evidence to arrest him, or even file a
convincing chargesheet - not because he's innocent, but because such crimes are very difficult to prove - especially when you are ex Income tax and have the best lawyers and CAs to guide you. By ignoring summons, he's reinforcing the perception that he has something to hide.

Setback To Mahua Moitra, Delhi HC Refuses To Stay Notices Asking Her To Vacate Govt Accommodation

JANUARY 18, 2024,

Justice Girish Kathpalia said no specific rule has been brought before the court which would deal with the eviction of members of Parliament from government accommodation after they cease to be MPs.

“To conclude, in view of the pendency of the issue of expulsion of petitioner (Moitra) before the Supreme Court and the issue of extension of time to vacate the government accommodation being inextricably linked with that, coupled with the fact that as on date petitioner has no right, this court is not inclined to invoke jurisdiction under Article 226 of the Constitution of India at this stage to restrain the operation of the impugned eviction order. Accordingly, the application stands dismissed,” the court said in its detailed order.

auntie is likely to approach the high court, then the SC, if no relief, then she will petition the ICJ, and if no relief again, then in true revolutionary commie style, she will finally take her case to the UNGA

this process could easily take a over century or two........with a denture bedecked mahua, valiantly attending court in adult diapers, astride a white and blue wheel chair......

she does not want photos of her "h!r@n@nd@n! furnish/remodelled govt bungalow" to come out in the public domain
