Journalist: President Trump said America will develop Pakistan's oil reserves and sell oil to India. Any progress on this?

Three Pakistanis arrested for robbing driver

Posted not because Pakistanis robbing driver is news (it isn't). Pakistanis finding yet another way to rob, now that is newsworthy. In what appeared to be a rare tactic employed in robberies, three Pakistani nationals have been arrested for allegedly robbing a lorry driver of Rs.90,000 after rendering him unconscious using a chemical-laced Rs. 5,000 currency note.
Police said the suspects are believed to be involved in organised money laundering operations while residing in the country on tourist visas.
They said the incident took place on Saturday along the Peradeniya Road, where the suspects stopped a lorry and approached the driver under the pretext of seeking help to exchange a Rs. 5,000 note.
During the conversation, one of the suspects reportedly held the note close to the driver’s face, allegedly causing him to lose consciousness due to the presence of a chemical agent.

No, the better question to ask is how is Jay Shah any better than Rajiv Shukla? Money always comes first, there was absolutely no reason for a 800 lb gorilla like BCCI to acquiesce to ICC, especially when ICC is run by Jay Shah! Why are we complaining about sadak-chap pakis being pakis? We decided to swim with pigs but expect to get out of the pit smelling like chanel no 5!

Anujan ji,
It is a mocking gesture for the 2025 pahalgam attack

Ambar ji,
This has nothing to do with the BCCI, jay shah or the ICC whatever
It, however, has everything to do with India making a bid for the 2036 olympics, and the powers that be want to get it right, the pigs next door notwithstanding. It's all about optics, image management, narrative building and India's rise.
The reality of the paki scum and their jihadi vermin pals in the neighbourhood is not lost on India.
BTW, if one is not wrong, India's share is 15% of the ICC match revenue. India is a tier one member. There are tier two members too. India does not take its 15% share but it merges it into the revenue share of the tier two countries so that the tier two members benefitIn October 2023, at the 141st IOC Session, Prime Minister Narendra Modi formally declared India's interest in bidding for the 2036 Olympics. If India's bid is approved, it would be the first time India will host the Olympic Games.
I haven't heard a single tier two member say thanks yet. That's regional entitlement and geopolitics for you
Let's not get ahead of ourselves. The effing ICC cannot even relieve its discomfort by flatulence and flatus, without asking for India's express permission every single time.
And that rattles every single abdoool and ayeshaaa in that cesspit that they have no option but to call home. They are mortified to discover that the two nation theory applies to cricket too, and their conceptual entitlement of jiziya, in what ever shape or form it may appear, is unacceptable to India
All this was not envisaged in their grand jihadi narrative of 1947 and their delusionally bombastic master plan

Chetak sir, and the pakis will be welcome guests in Bharat even if there is a war or a terrorist attack by them earlier that year right?
Sir, the reality of the Yanks and the Soviets was not lost on each other during the Moscow and Los Angeles olympics of 1980 and 1984. They used the optics in quite a direct way, I would say....

We have clearly recognized the "Indian" crab mentality, how did we manage to miss the far more poisonous "ummah" crab mentality that has always been out to get us

Manish ji,
Very valid point.
But one would take refuge in Bharat Ratna K. Kamaraj's ”Famous quote:"Parkalam"- Let us see!
As for the pakis and all other such jihadi or gora riff raff, India has this to say: कुत्ते भौंकते हैं, लेकिन कारवां आगे बढ़ता है

President Donald Trump’s public push to “take back” Bagram Air Base has dragged Afghanistan, and by extension Pakistan, into a new round of coercive signalling. Crucially, the pitch is no longer about counterterrorism; it is explicitly about geography against China. That reframing alone ensures any U.S. search for access, ISR, or standoff posturing will lean hard on Pakistani airspace and enabling networks, even if Kabul keeps the gates shut. The post-9/11 playbook of “with us or against us” does not apply to today’s Pakistan. We are a rising middle power embedded in a multipolar web, balancing ties with Washington, Beijing, Riyadh, Ankara, Moscow, and Tehran. Our answer should be clear, confident, and codified.
…
The Taliban can refuse a U.S. return to Bagram and still leave pressure on us. If anything, their refusal displaces that pressure onto our air corridors, intel hooks, and logistics seams. That is where we must pre-empt.
…
There is also a larger regional angle that we ignore at our peril. American bases rarely remain “American only.” Israel has long been integrated into U.S. military networks, serving as a forward platform for operations well beyond the Middle East. If Washington regains access to Bagram, it is not difficult to imagine Israeli technology, intelligence, or even personnel plugged into that presence.
Why does that matter for Pakistan? Because India and Israel already enjoy a deep security partnership, from drones and missile defence to real-time intelligence sharing. Any Israeli access to a future U.S. footprint in Afghanistan would effectively tilt the balance further in New Delhi’s favour, placing Pakistani infrastructure, CPEC corridors, and even nuclear assets under far more intense surveillance. This is not speculation; it is how alliances work in practice. A U.S. return to Afghanistan could quickly morph into an India-Israel advantage right on Pakistan’s border.

Re: Terroristan - March 31, 2022
Chetak sir, in my mind it is a given. The pakis will conduct terrorist ops just before the Olympics and India will still have to host them in the Olympics allowing them to strut on our sporting turfs and make gestures of the kind we are seeing now and get broadcasted worldwide.
The jihadi jernails and abduls will spin that as 'See we attacked the lowly infidel hindoos in their own homes and are now being hosted and welcomed in their grounds"
Begging your pardon sir, but the issue i have with the passing of the Caravan is the dead indians & their grieving families left behind in it's wake
We must not let the dogs/hyenas anywhere near the caravan, let alone allowing them onboard for a few days

Manish ji,
The answer, one suspects, lies somewhere in between
The GoI is trying out some new moves. One doesn't think that such unpopular initiatives will last too long, especially given the harsh public reaction
A lot can and will happen between now and 2036.
who knows what the world will look like by then or even how it will change in between
everyone seems to be in a hurry, especially the pakis, the turks, cheen, beedis, and the amrikis
Primarily, these are the ones that have been barking the loudest, and have been barking for several decades now (the beedis since 1971)
All will be revealed in the fulness of time onlee
BTW, pak is not a nation, nor is it a state..............
It is a diseased mindset that exists in and infects jihadis in and around India
To walk that path,
Which is yet to be made,
Be patient,
For all those realities,
Those who are yet to face
Be patient,
For those dark ones,
What is yet to be passed,
Be patient,
For all the trouble,
Those who are yet to fight,
Be patient,

pakistan PM shehbaz sharif met bangladesh’s chief advisor yunus.
Big “historic” agreement signed
They decided to divide the world into two parts:
– From one half, the pakis will beg.
– From the other half, the beedis will beg.

Two Pakistani politicians Qureshi and Imran moved to London where they made friends with a English guy named Paul.
They used to go all over London with him when suddenly one day ...Paul disappeared.
The two went to the police and lodged a complaint.
The police asked them if they could give some vital clues about Paul that would help find him.
Qureshi said, "Paul was handsome and tall."
The police said, "Most English men are like that. Give us something specific."
Imran said, "Paul had blue eyes and was very fair."
The Police said, "C'mon guys, lots of English men are fair and have blue eyes, give us something specific."
Imran and Qureshi said, "Oh yes ... now we remember ... Paul had two holes in his ass."
The policemen gets really interested.
They said, "Now that's something very specific, but tell us, how do you know this?
Have you guys seen the two holes in his ass?"
Imran and Qureshi said, "No we haven’t actually seen the holes, but wherever we went out with Paul, everyone used to say ......
"Here comes Paul with The Two Assholes!"

Re: Terroristan - March 31, 2022
Is Trump trying to get Pakistan to have diplomatic relations with Israel?
Re: Terroristan - March 31, 2022
Trump may want to expand the Abraham Accords, and he may be unrealistic about what the Pakis can do.
Another possibility is he wants Pakistan and Bagram in Afghanistan to encircle Iran, implicitly admitting that the bombing of Iranian nuke sites did not entirely accomplish his objectives. He needs a sustainable, immediate and short-range threat to get Iran to the table again.
Does Trump believe in the fiction of vast oceans of petroleum and viable mineral deposits in Pakistan? IMO he’d be better off investing in Ukraine - even if those minerals are currently under Russian occupation, at least they are much closer to proven reserve status than anything in Pakistan, except for Reko Diq (and the BLA might make Reko Diq not feasible too - how are they going to defend a 78 kilometer water pipeline?)
Or was Trump looking for support for his latest plan for Gaza? See viewtopic.php?p=2661138#p2661138
