there is no logic no conversation that can make these terrorist not to nuke India if they get hold of it. Learn from history, once you let these people raech capability to harm you, they wil definitely harm you and that too in worst possible ways.
they will have simple philophy:
"nuke Indian, clean the land, bring green flag and rebuild. simple as that. kafirs are not to be negotiated with or shown mercy to."
given the gay and lip service providers we Indians are, I dont see how the doomsday can be avoided.

RIP all victims and the brave who died defending.
If we are unable to eliminate or even make a material reduction in the type, scale and frequency of attacks then perhaps its best we learn to live and cope. I say this with sadness.
I have a few childhood friends in MARCOS and hope they are allright.
Meanwhile, besides India here is the list of countries whose nationals affected:
and other news:
Aussie shot in leg in Mumbai terrorist rampage
Father of the bride: it was fate we survived Mumbai attack
Aussie soap actress Brooke Satchwell hid in cupboard as Mumbai terrorists attacked
An Australian man, Paul, talks to 3AW's Neil Mitchell about the drama from his room inside the Taj Hotel.

Re: Terror Attacks in Mumbai
Unlike other attacks in the past, where some bombs have been planted and detonated anonymously, and later on some organization claims responsibility, this attack is different.
Whereas earlier, Muslims could simply say, that even those claims of responsibility were a ploy of security agencies and mean nothing, and those confessions of terrorists later apprehended were confessions under duress and also mean nothing, this time it is different.
Earlier the attacks were against Indians or perhaps Hindus in market places, etc. against whom some Indian Muslims could say was retaliation as part and parcel of communal violence, this time it is different.
Whereas in earlier attacks, it was Aam Aadmi, who fell pray to the terrorists, this time it is different.
This time the terrorists are not hiding behind masks, this time they are brazenly proclaiming war, this time they are attacking not some Hindus or Indians as such, but Indian economy, Indian national interests, Indian stability, Indian financial center.
TSP cannot compare this with Marriott. That was a fight between two pigs, who differ on Ice-lamic Cream Flavor. This is between Islamic terrorists and India.
Now the $hit is stinking to the skies. The security of movers and shakers of Indian society and World economy has been compromised. This should serve as the wake-up call, as a bell, to shake India to move from the 'chalta-hai' soft-state into the hard-state, we should have become long ago. The security edifice built solely on 'Bhai-Chara', 'Pyar-Mohabbat', which had started crumbling, has finally come down crashing.
We need a new political class, for whom deliverable security to Indians and those in India based on unbreachable non-political security institutions, a rock-solid ethos, maximum surveillance, intelligence gathering, insightful analysis, quick response-times, crack well-trained ATS teams, security-friendly legislation, etc. is a solemn duty.
The era of the soft Indian state has to end here and now.

Few points on CNN Interntational, with Karan Thapar.
Host : How is this different?
KP : Size and Scale is grater than ever before. Targetting hospitals, hostages domestic and foriegners, using ak47/sten guns. And point that they have come by boat.
Host : How to deal with hostage crisis? what is govt doing to inform indians about what it is doing?
KP : Maybe the Govt is waiting till terrorists are tired to minimize the damage. Govt is maybe pre-occupied with the crisis. Information is coming from anonymous sources.
Host : MMS talked about special task force? have they not been doing this before?
KP : They have been several by individual states and it is a state subject. Whether it is state or central subject is another question. PM was talking about perhaps amending constitution. Govt is belatedly responding now.

Mananiya HM is presently mouthing the prescripted response about the usual condolences to the victims, salutations to the martyrs and the support to the state govt to increase funds, manpower and equipment after coming out from the CCS meeting. Infact Arnab just cut off the telecast saying there is nothing new so not much point watching it. I will have to say Arnab is pretty much on the ball with the coverage without getting into any orga$mic or hysterical raptures like some of his counterparts.

Go suck on a pig's titties a##hole.EXTRA: Australian Islamic leader condemns Mumbai attacks
Sydney - A leader of Australia's 300,000 Muslims on Thursday said terrorist attacks in the Indian city of Mumbai were "abhorrent, despicable and outrageous.""Attacks against innocent persons are abhorrent to all peaceful people and to all faiths and those who engage in this behaviour stand condemned," Australian Federation of Islamic Councils president Ikebal Adam Patel said in a statement.
"People of goodwill and faith must double their efforts and resources to fight against such acts of barbarism and inhumanity."
He called on the perpetrators to be punished because "there can be no justification for such acts that target innocent crowds."
Two Australians were injured in attacks that have killed more than 101 people and injured at least twice that many. One Australian is reported to be among the dead.

I believe the motive is to show case India as an unstable, violence wracked place to inhibit foreign investors from doing business with us. Why else would the financial capital be attacked in so many places. One thing is very clear about these attacks.... MOTIVE...
Pakistan knows it cannot compete with India in economics. Their economy is failing. I think they want to drag India down and they hope these attacks will help them.
Secretly they are envious of India's attempts at progress.
As for the foreign media like CNN, they have their own agenda.

India Today expert view on
The bulletproof myth
The term bulletproof vest is a misnomer, just as waterproof is. Body armour or ballistic vests are the words in vogue today. These vests are usually made of a resin called Kevlar which is one of the strongest manmade fibres and used in helmets and flak jackets.
Kevlar – also called 'soft body armor' for its flexibility – offers protection against .22, .32 and .38 calibre pistol rounds but ineffective against high velocity weapons like AK-47 assault rifles, which use the 7.62 mm rounds. In such cases a 'breast plate' or 'rifle plate', a laptop-sized panel of armoured steel or ceramic is used. The plate is inserted into a slot at the front and back of a flak jacket can protect the wearer's vital parts from 7.62 mm rounds used in AK-47s.
Hence, body armour fits into various grades like Level 1, 2, 3 and 4, each denoting a higher level of protection. A fully protected person with side inserts, rifle plates, helmet and face protector could weigh up to 15 kgs and the soldier would not look very different from a medieval knight.
A special forces officer said that he could carry a crate of soft drinks on his back easier than he could wear full body armour. There is obviously a penalty it imposes on special forces and anti-terrorist forces for who have to make that choice between protection and mobility. (Most of the Black Cat commandos deployed around the Taj and Oberoi hotels in Mumbai can be seen on TV wearing these vests).
It is still not clear, but highly probable that the police officers who were gunned down by terrorists on Wednesday were not wearing the higher levels of protection afforded by rifle plates.
The Special Protection Group (SPGs) Counter Assault Team, which was recently unveiled on August 15 are some of the most heavily armoured special forces in the country today. They wear Kevlar vests with rifle plates and carry special 5.7 mm ammunition capable of penetrating body armour wielding terrorists.

Re: Terror Attacks in Mumbai
Where are folks getting the 50 terrorists figures from?
All news channels are saying 12 .......and 6 are still at large 14 hours after this started...
Taj update...no more hostages...but terrorists are still inside.
Hostages still in Oberoi Hotel.
RDX used across the city, per NSG. Two bombs were defused.
SPG not allowing Manmohan to allow Mumbai.
Other than the 16 police who are dead, 11 more are injured.
The first incident was in Cafe Leopold, then Nariman House, then CST, then the Hotels. The Terrorists from CST are still at large. Mother fvkers even attacked a Women's and Children's hospital (cama) - now cleared.
Total number of terrorists in Taj was only 5. Feared casulties in Taj will cross 100 in Taj alone.

Al Qaeda just one suspect in India terrorist attacks
Several extremist groups have been active in India and may have been involved in the Mumbai attacks.
By Josh Meyer and Sebastian Rotella
November 27, 2008
Reporting from Boston and Madrid -- The sophistication of Wednesday's assault in Mumbai and the targeting of U.S. and British citizens are the hallmarks of groups affiliated with Al Qaeda, but an array of other organizations have launched attacks in India and may also have played a role, officials and counter-terrorism experts said.
Experts cautioned that it was too early to fix responsibility for the coordinated attacks that killed dozens of people at a pair of luxury hotels, two hospitals, a train station and an upscale restaurant. They said the group that claimed responsibility, the Deccan Mujahedin, was unknown.
The State Department said this year in its annual assessment of terrorist threats that 2,300 people died in 2007 in attacks by various groups in India, making it perhaps the country most affected by terrorism in the world.
Indian intelligence agencies have been working with limited success in recent years to investigate hundreds of attacks. They have blanketed urban centers with agents -- especially Mumbai, because of the frequency of attacks there, said Sumit Ganguly, a South Asia counter-terrorism consultant to the U.S. government.
"It could be an entire range of organizations that have grievances against the Indian state and its growing closeness with the United States and the West," said Ganguly, director of research at the Center on American and Global Security at Indiana University in Bloomington.
Some of India's 130 million Muslims are angry about perceived discrimination in housing and employment by the Hindu majority. But India also suffers from violence by Maoists in eastern and central states and nationalists in northeastern states as well as militants from Pakistan and Bangladesh, according to State Department officials and reports.
Instead of the bombings that are the trademark of Al Qaeda, the attackers Wednesday appeared to use mostly automatic weapons and grenades, and they reportedly took hostages. But they showed sophistication and ambition by storming five-star hotels during the peak of the tourist season in a clear attempt to target Westerners, said M.J. Gohel, director of the London-based Asia-Pacific Foundation, a think tank that focuses on security issues.
"Sometimes this kind of attack, if well carried out, has greater psychological impact than a suicide bomber who blows up a few people somewhere," Gohel said. "As a coordinated strike with multiple targets, it has all the fingerprints of an Al Qaeda-linked attack."
The choice of India for such an assault could reflect the fact that increased security has made Western countries more difficult to hit, while India's increasingly close alliance with the U.S. makes it a more desirable target, Gohel said.
The attackers reportedly inquired specifically about the whereabouts of British and American citizens.
"That is distinctive, in that in the past the Indians have been the targets of the attacks," Ganguly said. "This adds a transnational dimension to the attacks."
Besides launching attacks in Pakistan, a number of Pakistan-based extremist groups with connections to Al Qaeda, including Lashkar-e-Taiba, have been active in India. U.S. intelligence officials have said that in many cases militants work with Pakistani intelligence agents who share a common animosity toward India.
A U.S. counter-terrorism official agreed with experts that it was too early to rule out any group, especially since many have worked together -- and often with groups connected to Al Qaeda. The U.S. official spoke on condition of anonymity because he was not authorized to discuss the attack.
"Given the choice of targets, the coordinated nature of the assaults, one might think it is Islamic extremists. It is a fair theory. But at this point, it is just that -- a theory," said the U.S. official. "But there have been a range of groups that have conducted attacks there, some of them very sophisticated."
Al Qaeda has urged its followers to launch attacks in India in recent years, especially as the government established closer ties with the United States. And Washington has accused some members of Pakistan's spy agency, the Inter-Services Intelligence, of playing a role in this year's attack on the Indian Embassy in Afghanistan, where India is increasingly active.
The State Department report, the product of intelligence from across the U.S. government, also said that smaller groups of independent militants and crime groups continue to engage in violence, in part because of overburdened law enforcement and legal systems.

Shivraj Patil warned of terror groups using sea route in 2006
November 27th, 2008 - 3:43 pm ICT by IANS -
Shivraj PatilNew Delhi, Nov 27 (IANS) Home Minister Shivraj Patil had warned of terror groups using the sea route to strike at vital installations in India two years ago but nothing much seems to have done about it.In his annual address to police chiefs in November 2006, Patil detailed the new forms of terror that the security establishment had to contend with and pointed out to groups using “the sea route to infiltrate India”.
Patil went one step ahead and said even the country’s atomic power plants had become “highly vulnerable” to terror strikes after the India-US nuclear energy deal.
“Our critical infrastructure faces a serious threat from terrorists. In view of the recent Indo-US Agreement on Civil Nuclear Energy Cooperation, our atomic power plants have become highly vulnerable,” he said.
“Similarly, installations of the oil and natural gas sector, defence, communications and IT sector are equally vulnerable. There are reports to indicate that some of our multi-purpose projects and shipyards continue to be targets of terrorist groups.”

Cripple the boat, bring it back with occupantes. Hope they bring enough escorts. Any TSP interference should be declared as an act of war.
SU-30's, Harrier's, Mig-29 should ensure no ship or aircraft interferes in its capture. Marine commodos from helicopters should board.
Question, can we fire a missile accurately enough to cripple it and tow it back to India.
