Some of those declared ‘dead’ by Turkistan have since made contact with media, debunking Turkistan’s claims[69]
[69]Wali-ur-Rehman and Hakimullah called Reuters and AP reporters ‘familiar with their voices’ to refute claims they were killed. It is difficult to verify whether or not those calling were actually who they claimed to be.

Some military analysis by the pakistani Nation newspaper: Mulaheza Farmaiye
Indian Military ready for war against China, Pakistan
Indian Military ready for war against China, Pakistan
India Army ready for war against China, Pakistan
Shimla-based Indian Army Training Command, headed by Lt-General A S Lamba is getting ready for something Indian Military never was ready before. Indian Air Force, Navy, and Army is ready to face Pakistan and China at the same time.
India's 1.13-million strong Military is now panning to handle two major war fronts at the same time. India considers Pakistan and China as part of the same camp. India knows the next war will be between India and Pakistan+China. India will get indirect support from America and Russia, but Indian Military will have to fight the two war at the same time.
...
China has used Pakistan for a long time to keep India busy. Now time has come for India to recognize a massive threat from China and Pakistan at the same time.
Indian Army chief General Deepak Kapoor emphasizes that India is ready for the successful firming-up of the cold start strategy (to be able to go to war promptly) in the multiple fronts against multiple different militias at the same time.
The plan is a full thrust assault into multiple anomies at the same time with massive Air Force superiority. If attacked by Pakistan and china at the same time, India will launch self-contained and highly-mobile `battle groups'', with Russian-origin T-90S tanks and upgraded T-72 M1 tanks at their core, adequately backed by far superior air cover and artillery fire assaults, for rapid thrusts into enemy territory within 96 hours.
Read it in full. This has been lifted off Indian Daily it seems.India plans to end the war decisively within the first 96 hours forcing the other sides into a fast submission of ceasefire.
...
The real war in that scenario will be between India and China while Pakistan will be used by China to create adequate disturbance for Indian Military.
That is the reason why Lt-General A S Lamba of Indian Army is so keen a massive thrust into Rawalpindi to quiet Pakistanis within 48 hours of the start of assault.
India's biggest advantage is the its software capabilities in integrating signal intelligence with ground intelligence. India will use algorithmic seek and scan technology to counter the Chinese threats in the North and possible Pakistani nuclear threat in the West.

I am actually amazed, surprised and more importantly shocked to know the Indian Security establishment has not worked out doctrinal measures to simultaneously 'War scenario' a combined China-Pakistan thrust.
Heads must roll and pensions chopped off people who failed to do so. Specially since the Kissinger-Mao talks have been open source for so much time now. This is callousness on us our security. Time forums like BRF spread strategic awareness amongst the 'drawing room' chateretti in the middle dumb classes of India.

Only Saudis fulfilled pledge of $200m, says Tareen
KARACHI: Federal Finance Minister Shaukat Tareen deplored the failure of Friends of Democratic Pakistan (FoDP) to honour their pledges as so far no substantial inflow came from that forum.
“It is nice about talking to help Pakistan, however when it comes to give Pakistan the funds pledged in the meetings, the situation looks quite contrary,” Tareen told newsmen on Tuesday at the sidelines of a seminar.
He was particularly dejected about the role of USA to help Pakistan financially and release the amount committed at the FoDP forums. “USA people meet us and discuss only one thing or the other rather than to materialise their commitments,” the finance minister regretted.
Tareen even went on to say that attitude of USA with Pakistan is disgusting and they consider us untouchable.
The minister said that only Saudi Arabia has released $200 million amount to Pakistan pledged at FoDP.

Shias are not fooled by PA Suicide story,
http://www.thepakistaninewspaper.com/ne ... p?id=15565It wasn't a suicide attack: Shia Ulema
KARACHI : Shia clerics on Tuesday rejected government claim that Monday's blast on the Ashura procession was a suicidal attack, saying that it was instead a "planted" bomb blast. At the funeral prayer of at least 10 victims of the blast on Tuesday they said that Azadars would not limit the scheduled Muharram processions, and added that the Interior Minister, instead of advising the mourners to limit their activities, should ensure their security.
Addressing over a hundreds thousand people, who gathered at the funeral prayer of some of those who had lost lives on Monday's blast, the ulema said that the government had failed to provide security to the mourners. Rejecting the allegation that the enraged mourners were involved in the aftermath of the incident, Allama Yousuf Hussain said that no Azadar was not involved, and they rather were proceeding with the procession peacefully.

Is there any popular public support on this issue in Sindh ? But this coming from the home minister of Sindh truly shows the position that Pakistan has been reduced to in the minds of it's own people. And the statement might generally be aimed at people trying to get Zardari out of office.Sindh Home Minister Dr. Zulfiqar Mirza has said we were ready to break Pakistan and were much more determined to chant slogan of ‘Pakistan Na Khapay’ – No need of Pakistan, following assassination of former PM Benazir Bhutto but we deliberately opted otherwise just because of President Asif Ali Zardari suggestion ‘Pakistan Khapay’.

As many as 31 students were awarded certificates in graduation ceremony of the 27th batch of the Pakistan Air Force Finishing School, Islamabad, held on Wednesday at Air Headquarters Officers Mess.

A TENDER opening ceremony for procurement of 10 million energy savers was held at Wapda house here.
The energy savers are estimated to help reduce electricity bills by Rs 300 for every bulb per month for domestic consumers.
The National CFL Project aims at procurement of a total 30 million high-quality CFLs (energy saver bulbs) through international competitive bidding (ICB) under tranche-I of Energy Efficiency Investment Programme.
The Asian Development Bank (ADB) and AFD (French Development Agency) are providing US$ 40 million and US$ 25 million funds for the programme, respectively.
Pakistan Electric Power Company (Pepco) will procure the CFLs and will distribute these to domestic consumers free of cost in exchange of 40 to 100 Watt incandescent bulbs (regular-use bulbs) through the distribution companies (DISCOs) and Karachi Electric Supply Company (KESC).The distribution costs will be borne by the DISCOs and KESC. ...

Same forces behind May 12 carnage, Ashura tragedy: JI

AMEER Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Pakistan Syed Munawar Hasan said that the same elements were involved in the May 12 carnage and Ashura tragedy whereas the involvement of RAW and Blackwater could also not be ruled out. ...
Addressing a press conference at Mansoora on Wednesday, he said the local agents had been freely used to cause massive destruction. The port city was on fire but the state actor was visibly absent, he said.
... He said after the bomb blast, there was a criminal neglect, and well known miscreants became active within minutes. They were given free hand for destruction, said he. There was a sea of blood and fire and everything around was gutted and the miscreants used explosive material and chemicals to burn private property while the police, rangers and state agencies were absent, he lamented. Fire brigade did not reach the spot for four hours and the city government adopted the policy of “Go Slow,” alleged Munawar.
However, he said the only job that was done in time on this occasion was the putting up of anti-Taliban banners.{His concern is about some posters and not the several dead and millions in property destruction}
He urged Chief Justice Iftekhar Chaudhary to probe the fact as to how these banners were prepared so quickly and were on display early next morning when the whole city had been burning. Did those behind these banners have the knowledge of the tragedy before hand? Who were the people behind arson and firing and why were they apprehended on the spot, he asked.
Syed Munawar Hasan said there was a belated attempt to give a sectarian colour to the tragedy, although there was no sectarianism all over the country, especially in Karachi, where people from different sects worked together. It was however fortunate that the people and religious leaders of Karachi had foiled such an attempt.
Replying to a question, he said that the private property and business centers had been set ablaze by the conspirators, and not the Shia community. He said the present situation in Karachi was explosive and it could be turned into bloodbath through remote control in the name of Taliban.

Saar Pepco is producing 8000 MW from its 16000 MW installed capacity and TSPians are seeing 8-16 hours of blackouts. The same organisation now wants to hand out CFLs to alleviate this annual power shortage of 3000 MW. Not to forget that the developed world will now pay them cash for the accrued carbon credits from using CFL instead of regular bulbs. No one can outwit a Paki.shiv wrote:BijuShet wrote:TSP citizen's life span just went up significantly. Na rahega vaccum bulb na hogi vaccum dhamakas.
