i wish they could have included people from all walks of life defence,sportsmen,scientists,social workers etc.. could have been much better

Happy republic day to you all!

I saw the last 15 minutes of the parade.
The online feed of ibnlive was really bad.

The aircrafts that did the fly-past were:

Transport aircrafts in the beginning. Followed by 5 jags. Followed by 3 MKI's.
Did any other a/c's also fly?

I was wondering if any single engined aircrafts flew?

I think they didn't because chinndits has pictures of the rehersals and it only had Jag and MKI pictures so I think only those aircrafts flew.

But, it was quite amazing because the commentator said that the MKI's flew all the way from Jodhpur for this.

Sorry didnt like it even one bit.

Was soooo bollywood heavy that even bit actors got part. I didnt find even one north eastern states singing in their language. The last minute throw of bhaichung bhutia and the next person seemed to me like an after thought. Are there no professions apart from movies and singers (sports thrown in like crumbs)?
