but to be fair to the angrez, they compete as one in olympics but here northern ireland , wales and scots compete separately. they are still a lot ahead overall, but not out of reach if we work hard for a decade more and use these local psyops openings to claw at them.

It's currently England with 37 golds and 58 silvers. India, also, on 37 golds and but just 27 silvers. So the mathematics is fairly simple. If Saina wins India will move upto 38 golds and second in the medals position. If she does not win the gold, England will remain in second position on account of them having one more silver medals.

Earlier they had the daughter of the east and now they have the daughter in law of the east!

I had a nanha doubt - by virtue of marrying a Pakistani, Sania has lost Indian citizenship. Now can a non-Indian represent India in multination events? If yes, why no Paki is raising hell as yet? My question might be stupid though :(

She is still Indian and hasn't surrendered her Indian citizenship. She will make load's of money as long as she has got Indian citizenship So I dont think she will ever surrender it.

The current perception of pakiland in India has ensured that her sponsorships and ad appearances have dwindled considerably.

I am sure that she knows what she is doing, hence the very very low profile and the almost complete absence of hubby from the India media scene. Other wise the moron was a sure contender for reality shows like bigg boss.

When hit hard in the batwa, most people come to their senses very quickly.

1. Spectacular starting of the closings ceremony.
2. Naga martial dancer awesome. Sardarji sword wielders most comical. Mallu in between
3. Performer look normal everyday people unlike the pre programmed clinical zombies of Beijing.
4. Completely world class look and atmosphere.
5. Spectators look pure TFTA. Not an SRDE in view.
6. Retard DD maintains the 1:10 ratio on content/commercial.
7. Commentators should be asked to STFU before they commit another Malawi type goof up.
8. Finally, why we need to be such hyperbole? The instadia announcers trying to outdo each other by announcing India super power, great tradition blah blah. We don’t need to to announce that.
9. Tri service band welcomed with great cheer. Giving an awesome performance. In my like I had never seen anything like these before. Not a note off scale. Not a step out of line. Bravo.
10. Most comical moment till now – Idiotic DD announcer saying “enjoy the crescendo” as the tri service band builds it up.

Congratulations to all players for making India proud. 38 Gold and 2nd position.
Closing ceremony is a treat to watch. No more ARH crap. Army Band playing sare Janah se anccha and children dancing to the tune of Vande mataram. Ever green songs.Colours of Holi. Fantastic

I hope they remind the world of India's contributions to the world science from Zero to water on Moon.

Sir, leave the 'beating the retreat' and downhill sking to Pakis. We SDREs do only 'beat retreat'
