Okay folks we have a little problem here. The proximate cause is the tribe of waiters but I'm afraid it's emblematic of wider profiling. They ask me twice if I want bacon bits on my potato. Bwahah.
Should I wear saffron? I admire them for cautioning a presumed Muslim against dietary indiscretion. But really, I l hoped I look liked a college professor from 1969 Berkeley with a bit of Jim Morrison swagger thrown in

A school is banning Muslim pupils from fasting during Ramadan because of the ‘hot weather’
...
It stated: ‘We are reliably informed that in Islamic Law, children are not required to fast during Ramadan only being required to do so when they become adults.’
And described how children ‘fainted’ and ‘became ill’ during last year’s festival after going without food or water for ’18 hours, a significant amount of time for a child.’

Protest march against plans for Dudley mosque as it happened
Newly-formed anti-Islam group All Football Fans/Firms Against Islamification took part in a march through Dudley town centre on Saturday, protesting at plans to build a new £18million mosque in the town.
Around 200 people joined the rally, which was the third anti-mosque demonstration in Dudley this year.
In May, about 150 joined a protest march organised by far-right group Britain First.
In February, the English Defence League returned to the Black Country to protest against the mosque plans. Police arrested 30 people after clashes between the EDL and supporters of Unite Against Fascism.
The EDL had previously marched through the town in April 2010, when 2,000 joined the protest.

STOCKHOLM: Muslims in the Nordic region can expect new guidelines for coping with a sun that never sets ahead of the holy fasting month of Ramazan, a Swedish Muslim association said.
“We’ve got two difficult questions, not just when you can break the fast in the north but also when you should start fasting,” Mohammed Kharraki, a spokesperson for Sweden’s Islamic Association, told AFP.
“You’re supposed to start fasting before the sun rises, at dawn. But there is no real dawn in the summer months in Stockholm.”
“
Now you should go by the last time the sun clearly set and rose,
When would be the LAST time? Will winter 'days' count?
” said Kharraki, adding that detailed guidelines were still being worked out and could also involve breaking the fast in the early evening to be more in line with the rest of the world.
Q. Did the prophet now about Nordic countries and the deal about the sun barely setting in summers? Could it be that Islam is incompatible for Nordic folks?

Am not sure, why this kind of slavery is a surprise at all - this has been going on for years and kidnapping w/ forced conversions is still a part of what we see at least in the Indian sub continent and from reports in countries like Egypt too.
We can sell Yazidi women and children as sex slaves because it's God's law says ISIS: Terror group says Sharia allows them to enslave 'pagans'
Sex Slavery promotion by Zakir Naik (a guy who reaches 100 Million Muslims) actually gets honored by Saudi Barbaria...
Saudi Arabia awards preacher who says Muslims can have sex with slaves top prize and £130,000 for services to Islam - Dr Zakir Naik's edict on slaves echoes the doctrines of Iraq's Islamic State insurgency
and if you think this is something that has not been happening in the past... from Noakhali, we see
Noakhali riots: Truth sacrificed
The severed head of Rajendra Lal Roy was gifted to Gulam Sarowar in a silver plate. At Gulam’s order his two trusted lieutenants took the two beautiful daughters of Mr. Roy as the booty
(Binoy Bhusan Ghosh – Two Nation Theory and Bengalee – p 68).
the yazidis have also been facing the same thing for centuries - nothing new...
Long Before ISIL: The Chronic Plight of the Yazidis Under Islamic Domination
Sir Austen Henry Layard (1817-1894) was a British polymath—archaeologist, author, politician, and diplomat—perhaps best known for his the excavations in northern Mesopotamia, contemporary Iraq.
Layard recorded the following, based upon first hand observations, and historical assessments, about the chronic plight of the Yazidis (Yezidis) under Islamic domination in his 1849, Nineveh and Its Remains. His focus, appropriately, given the time frame, was upon the depredations against the Yazidis during the allegedly “tolerant” Ottoman Muslim era: massacre, pillage, and deportation and enslavement of their male and female children, for “service” in the vast Ottoman slave institutions, including harem slavery.
They [the Yazidis] have the choice between conversion and the sword, and its is unlawful even to take tribute [jizya, per Koran 9:29, the deliberately debasing poll-tax, and related regulations imposed upon non-Muslim Christians, Jews, and Zoroastrians subjugated by jihad] from them. The Yezidis, not being looked upon as “Masters of a Book,” [i.e., scriptures, “acknowledged,” at least in part, by Islam] have been exposed for centuries to the persecution of the Mohammedans. The harems of the south of Turkey have been recruited from them. Yearly expeditions have been made by the governors of provinces into their districts; and whilst the men and women were slaughtered without mercy, the children of both sexes were carried off, and exposed for sale in the principal towns. These annual hunts were one of the sources of revenue…and its was the custom of the Pashas of Baghdad and Mosul, to let loose the irregular troops upon the ill-fated Yezidis, as an easy method of satisfying their demands for arrears of pay.
This system was still practiced to a certain extent within a very few months of my visit; and gave rise to atrocities scarcely equaled in the better known slave trade.
Layard described a series of specific Muslim depredations against the Yazidis that took place in 1832, near Mosul and Sinjar:
[Mosul] It was in spring; the river had overflowed its banks, and the bridge of boats had been removed. A few succeeded in crossing the stream; but a vast crowd of men, women, and children were left upon the great mound of Kouyunjik. The (Kurdish Muslim) Bey of Rowandiz followed them. An indiscriminate slaughter ensued…
[Sinjar] The inhabitants of the Sinjar were soon subdued after subdued by Mehemet Rashid Pasha, and a second time by Hafiz Pasha. On both occasions there was a massacre, and the population was reduced by three-fourths. The Yezidis took refuge in caves, where they were either suffocated by fires lighted at the mouth, or by the discharges of cannon.
Six decades later, during 1892, Oswald Hutton Parry’s eyewitness travelogue, Six Months in a Syrian Monastery: Being the record of a visit to the head quarters of the Syrian church in Mesopotamia, with some account of the Yazidis or devil worshippers of Mosul and El Jilwah, their sacred book, published in 1895, included an assessment of renewed jihadism against the Yazidis perpetrated under the aegis of Ottoman Lieutenant-General Umar Wahbi Pasha, and his minions, in a chapter entitled (with some irony), “The ‘Conversion’ of the Yazidis.” Those who refused to convert, were tortured, and cast into prison, where some died, and others professed Islam under this coercion. Muslim soldiers were sent to Yazidi villages and the inhabitants were “ordered to accept Islam, or be slain.” Indeed, some 400-500 Yazidi men were slain, the “pretty women and girls” taken captive, and “married” to the killers of their husbands. Surviving Yazidi children were gathered, and forcibly converted to Islam. Parry recorded this eyewitness account:
[W]orst of all was what happened to those who refused to change their faith. The men were cruelly tortured, and killed, the women taken away, outraged, or killed. One [Yazidi] Sheikh was cut into many pieces and thrown over a rock; another ground like corn between two millstones. The women were at the mercy of the soldiers. Some fled, and to escape dishonor cast themselves from a high rock and were slain…[A] number of young girls were hidden near the olive groves, in some long grass; savagely fire [was] set all around, and with screams too fearful to hear, they were all burned to death. A young girl soon to be a mother, was pursued to the Syrian church, where the priest gave her refuge. The soldiers found her, and having committed unspeakable things, killed her near the sanctuary. The Kurds of the mountains, encouraged by these things, came down, and added much cruelty and outrage to what was already done.
the religious support for this is also well documented...

Two Florida brothers, one of whom said he bicycled around New York City to scope out targets, were sentenced on Thursday to prison for plotting to explode a bomb in the city in 2012, the U.S. Justice Department said.
Raees Qazi was sentenced to 35 years and Sheheryar Qazi to 20 years. The two had also assaulted two deputy U.S. marshals while in custody, the Justice Department said in a statement.
The Pakistani-born brothers, aged 22 and 32 respectively, had pleaded guilty to federal terrorism charges in March and were sentenced in court in the U.S. Southern District of Florida.

China pushes Uighurs to give up fasting in Ramazan
BEIJING: Some local governments in China's unruly far western region of Xinjiang are stepping up controls on the Islamic faith followed by the Uighur people ahead of Ramazan, including making officials swear they will not fast.
The holy month, which begins this week, is a sensitive time in Xinjiang following an uptick in deadly attacks blamed by Beijing on Islamist militants over the past three years in which hundreds have died.
In recent days, state media and government websites in Xinjiang have published stories and official notices demanding that party members, civil servants, students and teachers in particular do not observe Ramazan, something that happened last year too.
In Jinghe county near the Kazakh border, food safety officials decided last week that they would “guide and encourage” halal restaurants to stay open as normal during Ramazan, the government said on its website.
Those that do stay open would get fewer visits from food safety inspectors, it added.
Other government institutions have given similar instructions.
In Maralbexi county, where 21 died in violent unrest in 2013, party officials had to give verbal as well as written assurances “guaranteeing they have no faith, will not attend religious activities and will lead the way in not fasting over Ramazan”, state media said.
Exiled Uighur groups and human rights activists say the government's repressive policies in Xinjiang, including restrictions on religious practices, have provoked unrest, allegations denied by Beijing.
“China is increasing its bans and monitoring as Ramazan approaches. The faith of the Uighurs has been highly politicised, and the increase in controls could cause sharp resistance,” Dilxat Raxit, spokesman for the exiled Uighur group, the World Uyghur Congress, said in a statement.
Telephone calls to the Xinjiang government's spokesman seeking comment were not answered.
The government there has always denied trying to curb fasting, though officials and people younger than 18 are banned from participating in religious activities.
On Sunday, Xinjiang's Communist Party chief, Zhang Chunxian, warned that the region's stability faced “sustained pressure” from religious extremists.
China's Communist Party says it protects freedom of religion, but it maintains a tight grip on religious activities and allows only officially recognised religious institutions to operate.
China has around 20 million Muslims spread throughout the country, only a portion of which are Uighur, a Turkic-language speaking group that calls Xinjiang home.
Cheers

As happens year after year, the Mohammaddens of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan cannot agree to sighting of the Moon on the same day resulting in the Islamic Republic starting the Mohammadden “fasting” month of Ramazan / Ramadan on two separate days with Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KpK) following one day and the rest of the Islamic Republic another.
It strikes me as presumptuous for Mohammaddens to take every opportunity to claim being scientifically advanced, at least back in the days of their religions infancy by saying that they are the fount of all manner of knowledge known to Europe, when it transpires that they depend on human sight rather than an astronomical calendar to determine celestial events of religious significance:

…………. Wearing the burqa must stop immediately from today, not only in public places and schools but throughout the whole of the country," Prime Minister Kalzeube Pahimi Deubet said in a speech to religious leaders the day before the start of the holy Muslim festival of Ramadan.
Any type of clothing that leaves only the eyes visible is a form of "camouflage" and is now banned, he added, asking the religious leaders to spread the message in their mosques, churches and holy places.
Prime Minister Deubet said instructions had been given to security forces to "go into the markets and to seize all the burqas on sale and burn them".
Anyone found wearing a burqa would be "arrested, tried and sentenced in summary proceedings", he added. …………………………

Chad Burqa Ban: Islamic Face Veils Outlawed In Muslim-Majority State Following Boko Haram Suicide Bombings
Chad announced Wednesday that it had banned full Islamic face veils, or burqas, after suicide bombings hit the central African state’s capital earlier this week. The country’s prime minister said that militants had used the veil as “camouflage” and that security forces would begin burning all face veils sold in markets, the BBC reported.
The Muslim-majority country in central Africa also said that it would be banning head-to-toe burqas and religious turbans. The ban would be applied everywhere, not only in public places, said Prime Minister Kalzeube Pahimi Deubet, adding that any clothing that covered anything but the eyes would be considered camouflage.
ADVERTISING
"Even the burqas for sale in the markets will be withdrawn," Deubet said in comments reported by Reuters. The prime minister met with religious leaders in the country Wednesday to discuss the measures on the same day that his government announced it had arrested five suspects accused of involvement in simultaneous bombings in the city of N’Djamena that left at least 34 people dead.
The bombings, which took place outside of a police headquarters and police academy, were the first such attacks in the Chadian capital. Authorities have blamed the attacks on the Nigerian Islamist militant group Boko Haram, accusing the group retaliating for Chad’s leading role in a regional offensive against the group. Chad’s capital serves as the command center for an African task force composed of troops from neighboring Nigeria, Niger, Cameroon and Benin.
"Boko Haram chose the wrong target," the government said in a statement reported by Agence France-Presse. “These lawless and faithless terrorists will be flushed out and neutralized wherever they are.”
Around 53 percent of Chad's population identifies as Muslim, according to the CIA Factbook. Burqas are worn in Chad mainly for religious reasons. However, some women also wear the garment to protect themselves from the hot and dusty Saharan climate, the BBC reported.
Chad’s ban comes just weeks after Congo-Brazzaville instituted its own ban on burqas, which it said was designed to counter extremism.

Is the OIC going to raise a stink for one of their own members banning the Mohammadden religion mandated garment for women, the Burqua aka Burka, on the eve of the start of the Mohammadden holy month of Ramazan aka Ramadan?:

Apparently Mohammadden majority Chad was the second country on the African Continent to ban the burka / burqua for security reasons. The first country on the African Continent to ban the burka / burqua for security reasons was Congo-Brazzaville, an Abrahamic country like Chad though with a Christist majority:

X Posted from the “Pakistan arms sales, ops, doctrine, etc” thread.
First the Punjabi dominated security forces of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan displace some 1 Million Pathan’s / Pushtun’s from the homes and force them into refugee camps.
Then the Punjabi dominated security forces of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan kill 2 Pathan’s / Pushtun’s who have been forced from their homes into refugee camps during the Mohammadden holy month of Ramzan aka Ramadan.
Is killing 2 fellow Mohammaddens during Ramzan what is meant by the” Jihad fi Sabilillah” part of the motto of “Iman, Taqwa, Jihad fi Sabilillah” or translated into English, “Faith, Piety, Jihad in the path of Allah”?
How is it remotely excusable for the Military forces of a country claimed to have been created as a safe haven for the Mohammaddens of the Indian Sub-Continent to slaughter fellow Mohammaddens during Ramazan?
How also is it remotely excusable for a country that loses no opportunity anoint itself with all manner of Mohammadden titles such as Islamic Republic, Sole Mohammadden Nucler Power and Citadel of Mohammaddenism to kill fellow Muslims during Ramzan?:

BEIRUT: The Islamic State group hanged two youths Monday after accusing them of eating during daylight hours in the Muslim fasting month of Ramadan, the Syrian Observatory of Human Rights said.
"Residents of the village of Mayadeen in Deir Ezzor province reported that IS hanged from a crossbar two boys aged under 18 near the HQ of the Hissba", the jihadist police, Observatory chief Rami Abdel Rahman told AFP.
"The children have been suspended by ropes from a pole since noon, and they were still there in the late evening," he said.
"Apparently, they were caught eating."
A placard was attached to the bodies reading "They broke the fast with no religious justification".

i have said this once before, all the internet and whatsapp kamandus in india professing a love for ISIS, going around kicking hindu idols, wearing black IS tees, waving their fingers in IS salute, should be caught, their passports seized and given money, transport(one-way) and dropped by indian airlines in iraq to go live in their paradise.
its a net win win situation for both IS and India. they get cannon fodder, we lose troublemakers.
