Let me go out on a limb and make a prediction. Imran had a stash of cash in his bag and was detained. He went on to tweet "they detained me for protesting drone attacks!! AoA!! " and became a ghazi. The point is, US still hasn't acknowledged the existence of drone program (funny but true ) then how can they interrogate someone about them?
Look at his version of the story: they detained me and asked my view on drone attacks, I said they should stop, surprised by my principled stand they had no option but to let me in!!! AoA!!
First of all fellows who question people in airport are common abduls or at most a policeman. Who don't give two hoots about what you think and are more interested to see if you are bringing a bum, narcotics or money laundered cash. Take a wild guess why they detained imran ?
This reminds me of an incident in pakjab when the British were leaving, an Abdul went up to a British police inspector and slapped him. He was feted as a great and brave freedom fighter and appointed to office.

Pakistan bomb kills politician in Buner
A bomb attack in the north-west Pakistani city of Buner has killed a local anti-Taliban politician and three of his guards, police sources say. Fateh Khan of the secular Awami National Party was reportedly killed as his car left a petrol station.
It was not immediately clear if he was victim of a suicide attack or of a bomb placed on a motorcycle.
Security forces largely freed Buner from the control of Taliban militants three years ago.

Teacher accused of blasphemy in hidingArfa Iftikhar was forced into hiding after a mob stormed Farooqi Girls’ High School in the eastern city of Lahore over a piece of homework she set that allegedly contained derogatory references to the Prophet Muhammad.
The school took out front page ads in two leading newspapers Friday to deny it had any knowledge of the supposed insults to the Prophet, saying Iftikhar distributed the work just 10 minutes before the school closed for the Eid al-Adha holiday. The school’s headmaster Asim Farooqi has been remanded in custody for 14 days.

Well, lots of
interesting responses from readers. I like this guy VANNI CAPPELLI, a free lance journalist. The woman beater has the usual puke. And of course, one moron brings in the "core issue" to understand TSP barbarism.

Of course, it is welcome but what he forgot o add was that TSP was doing so for 40 years with active and benign support to Pakistani terrorism for 40 years. I am doubtful if the US understanding of TSP perfidy will extend to Pakistan's perfidy wrt India.

Given that we're letting in Pakis into India for treatment unabated, how long before this starts happening in Indian hospitals?
Pakistani man slaughters Indian doctor in Abu Dhabi hospital
A Pakistani man armed with a big knife stormed a private hospital in Abu Dhabi on Thursday,
grabbed an Indian urologist and slaughtered him like a sheep inside his clinic after the death of his relative at the hospital.
Sources at Al Ahli Hospital in the capital said
the man went straight into the urology clinic and stabbed the 58-year-old doctor before forcing him on his knees and slitting his throat. Other doctors and staff members rushed into the clinic but it was too late.
“He stormed into the clinic although nurses tried to prevent him…
he then attacked the doctor and slain him like a sheep….the man then waited at the hospital until the police came and arrested him,” one source said.
The sources identified the victim as Rajan Daniel, a urology specialist who has been working for Alahli hospital in the town centre for many years.
...
Another hospital told Emirates 24l7 that the incident occurred at around 6.30pm.
“The man entered the doctor’s cabin, locked the room from inside and immediately slit the doctor’s throat. He then simply walked out of the room, located on the fifth floor. Staff were shocked to see a man trying to leave the hospital with a knife in his hand. He was completely soaked in blood.”
...
“The patient has been to the hospital for treatment before.
He came this time with a knife and stabbed the doctor in the neck and other parts of the body many times,” Arabic language daily Alkhaleej said.

The daily said that the patient was maddened by the slow treatment process.
Dr Daniel who is from Trivandrum in Kerala, India has been working in the hospital since 2007. His wife Geeta George lives with him in the UAE. The doctor is also survived by his only daughter Junu.

Apparently Abdul Hafiz Pirzada fessed up that he took money from the Army/ISI to overthrow Benazir government in 90 and install Badmash in power. Why is this all that interesting you ask? well Abdul Hafiz Pirzada was one of the founders of PPP, was defence lawyer for ZAB against his death sentence and one of the people who drafted 73 constitution in Pakistan.
Which goes on to show that every Paki is up for sale -- especially to the Army and ISI.
The Asghar Khan case is quite interesting. The supreme court of Pakistan ruled that people like Aslam Beg were responsible for pumping money, buying off people and rigging elections. The reply of people like Beg and Hamid gul are along the lines of "Yes we did it. So what? What can you do to us?"

From the BBC:
Petrol station attack 'kills 18' in Pakistan
At least 18 people have been killed after attackers opened fire at a petrol station in south-western Pakistan, triggering a huge blaze, officials say.
...
...
The Khuzdar attack happened late on Friday afternoon, senior Khuzdar official Abdul Mansoor Kakar told reporters.
He said the gunmen attacked a passenger van, and one of the bullets hit petrol pumps as the vehicle was refuelling.
This triggered a massive fire, leaving some bodies charred beyond recognition.
You know what is suspicious though? Unless they're using incendiary rounds or perhaps tracer bullets, shooting at a gas tank doesn't normally cause a vehicle to explode into flames. Mythbusters proved this pretty convincingly, when they shot a heck of a lot of normal bullets into a gas tank with everything from pistols to 30-06 rifle and failed to ignite it. There needs to be a spark to set off the gasoline and lead bullets and copper jacketed bullets don't spark. Wonder if the gunmen had access to special ammunition, which is only normally available to specialized military units.

93 Pakis attain Jannat in the Land of Mohammad
http://www.dailytimes.com.pk/default.as ... 012_pg7_16
At least 93 Pakistani pilgrims died during Hajj in Saudi Arabia this year, said Syed Abu Ahmed Akif, director general (Hajj) in the Consulate General of Pakistan in Jeddah.
He said that burial of 87 pilgrims had already been performed in Makkah and Madina.
According to Saudi law and an agreement between the two countries, pilgrims who pass away in Saudi Arabia could not be transported to Pakistan and have to be buried in the kingdom.
Earlier, Counsel General of Pakistan in Saudi Arabia Abdul Salik Khan said that more than 179,000 Pakistanis travelled to Saudi Arabia to perform Hajj, of which more than 50 percent aged between 50 to 60-plus years.
The Hajj DG said that this year, the Saudi government issued 1.9 million Hajj visas. Besides, according to Saudi media, some 1.4 million people performed Hajj “illegally” (without permission).
PIA Country Manager in Saudi Arabia Shahbaz Ahmad said that PIA had operated 50 flights carrying more than 21,000 pilgrims back home as of November 4.
Shahbaz suggested the quarters concerned that PIA’s Hajj operation burden should be reduced and other airlines should be bound to dedicate Hajj flights for Pakistani pilgrims.
