Their participation in the olympics is very doubtful, having missed the qualifying rounds.

Their future is also uncertain because this govt is unforgiving of anti national protests, especially when done with dubious political motives.

When the dust settles, they may be looking at lifetime bans which means only political options may open to these clowns who are pawns in the hands of a prominent haryana political die-nasty

It looks like these protestors may have been promised tickets for the assembly elections

Probably they would have won in Commonwealth games.
But there is no Wrestling in 2026 Commonwealth games.

They should also return all awards like Arjuna etc, return largesse given out by govt for their success like cash, plots, jobs etc. They deserve nothing after how they treated PT Usha. Once they politicised their demands the wrestlers have let the wolves into their tent, and have become puppets. Now they are demanding rights to pitch tents, create infra to carry on 5 star protests for as long as... The funny part is they have written to Amit Shah with these demands :D

Sir, sports in India has been political for decades now. The head of almost every single sports federation in the country is a politician.

How else do you think the various political parties build their ecosystem.

Even the two gully cricket teams in my locality proudly flaunt their local MLA overlord. Earlier both teams were under one MLA (a SS guy).
When the SS split no one was more happier than the two teams as one of the SS MLAs underling switched to the other side.
Each of the teams then went to one guy to get his backing (and access to his funds) in return for their support come polling time

In the end, Sports, like Politics, is simply bijness

no judicial process as per wrestlers' personal demands simply means that justice has been denied to them. The wrestlers (and their backers) want to dominate, dictate, and control the procedure, as well as, determine the outcome of the inquiry

the wokes are upping their game and just see the timing of the wrestler's "protests", exactly like what happened during the "farmer's protests" and right in the midst of the election season and also this news has pushed the khujliwal shenanigans, the 45 crores "renovation" ghotala and the paapi liquor scam out of the prime time news and also off the front pages

and using such excuses and fake demands, the congi, paapi and commie backed protests continue

@ANI
Wrestlers petition | Supreme Court notes the purpose of the petition has been served as FIR has been registered and that security has been provided to wrestlers. SC says that we have closed the proceedings at this stage. SC says if petitioners wish for something else, they can approach the magistrate or the High Court in its jurisdiction
@ANI
Wrestlers Protest | Accused is revealing the identities of victims on TV channels. SC said that our prayer was for FIR to be registered, they also gave directions for security & that, despite that if we have any grievances, we can go to Delhi HC or Magistrate. Monitoring is needed as Delhi Police didn't file the FIR earlier, they weren't ready to take the statements of victims as well. We were hoping that the probe must be monitored by a retired SC judge but the court closed the proceedings: Wrestlers advocate

Kejriwal is an absolute fake fellow. Indeed, the Delhi CM (now or future) should have a decent official residence, and yeah it can be expensive to build one in central Delhi. Instead of transparently requisitioning the funds for this in a special category, he decided to be too clever by half.

LG is the boss. There is a limit to what the CM of Delhi can do.

If the BJP is smart enough. Then they can implicate and convict him in at least the liquor scam. Because from all indications, that is the real scam. The house renovation is a distraction.

The house renovation work might look bad optically. But unless it can be proven that Kejriwal directly benefited through cash backs and not some random PWD engineers. He can get away with it.

Thread seems to have got disrupted by BS one-liners. The house construction scam is not a distraction, it is a real scam. Like I said, if the idea was to build a better CM residence, he could have just requisitioned the funds transparently. Construction in Delhi is expensive, but the land is already owned by the Delhi goremint. There is no way a construction cost of 45 cr can be justified for that house, including the 1 cr bill for curtains and the 6 cr bill for appliances. This is pure fraud and should be easy to prosecute.

*Even assuming the money did not get laundered anywhere*, it is still defrauding the public by spending money with improper justification. And of course, the funds were requisitioned for renovation but it turns out a whole new house was built.

Adding on the investigation of where the money went will probably tack on more offenses to the chargesheet.

As for liquor scam, I certainly agree there is a strong case there too. Also, recently Raghav Chadha is named in the ED chargesheet. This juvenile character is probably going to break down much quicker than Sisodia.

The Lokayukta report says that Congress president Mallikarjuna Kharge is worth Rs 50000 crore

Is that the reason Congress made up a story that BJP wants to get rid of Kharge’s family but in fact he becomes a liability for congress so Congress is trying to get rid of him

This figure of 50000 crores is shocking. But the question is how was he able to amass such wealth.

No body is going to bribe him. As he has never held any position of power.

Unless the case is being made that he is the treasurer for all the ill goten wealth of the INC.

This claim is not credible.

He just has to act as a "facilitator" for land dealings when congress govt is in power. Remember how NPAs of many banks, especially cooperative banks ran into lakhs of crores during UPA terms? All that money has to end up somewhere. Not even counting the major scams that happened in that dark era, and still continue to happen in many states. Major cities have municipal budgets that are colossal. Where is all that money going? h Education - college donations, illegal mining of sand given the sustained construction boom since decades, bribes for govt jobs, promotions & postings at every level... the avenues are endless.

Look at state level budgets running gigantic deficits with nothing much to show for that expenditure. The system these cabals have built and developed over the years is so leaky that its a miracle anything gets done at all in this country.

C-Voter survey was discredited as it is based on a small sample (2000) in Bengaluru.
They survey Bengaluru residents and those who will go back to their native places to vote and say this is representative of Karnataka.
Bengalurus is a majorly Congress and JDS den. So hardly represents the soup pot of Karnataka.
And the survey is quoted by anyone who is for Congress+JDS.
Anyway, lets see on 13th May.

A major congi "leader" has managed to get elected a number of times because the BJP transferred their votes to him in his constituency

of course, there would always be a quid pro quo

This is the sort of jiggery pokery that goes on in KAR, in the midst of the usual unfathomable mix of caste, creed, religion, sectarian loyalties, and ideology

"trends are easy to see" because no one ever speaks the truth when surveys are done, and voters decide at almost the last moment and are unpredictable.

As in many other parts of the country, the voters deliberately take malicious pleasure in misleading the surveyors

these "surveyors", mostly emerge from air conditioned innovas', rudely thrust a mike into a few faces, and scramble back into those conditioned innovas' and like one dopy female journo is doing , eating her way through every dosa joint in the various constituencies she is allegedly "surveying" , commenting on the dosas more than the local issues facing the voters and their take on the various candidates
