Kerala priest Fr. Robin gets 20 years in jail for raping and impregnating a 16 year old girl under POSCO. More pathetic part of the incident was that under extreme pressure from the church, girl’s father took the blame earlier for impregnating his daughter.

Anyone remember Bruce Ritter in charge of NY Covenant house founded by him for homeless youth? He happily abused them. President Ronald Reagan named Ritter one of America’s “unsung heroes” in his 1984 State of the Union Address. When he was outed as pedophile by NY Post he got a slap on the wrist and sent to India. Out of sight out of mind. What happened to him finally? He died of cancer and never served a day in jail. That is how Vatican protects its priests. That happened in 1990 - 32 years back. And even now Vatican can not stop child abuse by its priests. What else can they do, if they are not allowed to get married and see a sea of backsides everyday?
