This post is about the possibility of a cataclysmic Earth change in the near future due to the changes in Earth's core. This theory is by @EthicalSkeptic in X with 340K followers. It is generally called ECDO Hypothesis ( Exothermic Core-Mantle Decoupling – Dzhanibekov Oscillation)


Many of the points in this hypothesis are truly extraordinary. He predicts that Earth's rotation on its axis could suddenly change direction causing catastrophic destruction all over the world. A thorough analysis of the theory successfully passed the various AI tools.

As per him, a very limited data modelling suggests a flip as early as 2030.

I did read it. The issue isn’t that this nonsense “differs from the mainstream,” it’s that it fails basic physics. Invoking a Dzhanibekov oscillation of the Earth’s mantle , “decoupling at the D’’ layer,” and a rapid 104° reorientation violates conservation of angular momentum, mantle rheology, and everything we directly measure about Earth rotation and coupling. I am now stopping dialogue with Amber G on this topic as there is no meaningful or fact based rebuttal from her.

For those who missed my earlier posts related to the topic; the reason I chose to present this ECDO Hypothesis is that there are many supporting evidences for a past pole shift. The recent related posts by me are,
1. Piri Ries map depicting the land beneath the Antarctic.
2. Description in Vedas about a lost land of sages with 6 months continuous darkness which is Antarctic.
3. Very high technological sophistication of Egyptian pyramid and the extreme antiquity of them.
4. Description in Vedas of major Meteor strikes that significantly changed the land.

Hriday, I have come across many such things which cannot be explained. For instance the golden mean (sqrt(5) + 1 )/ 2 = 1.618 is the basis of many things in nature, the vedic golden ratio. Distance from Ankor Wat to Giza pyramids is 4754 miles. This distance multiplied by the Vedic Golden ratio of 1.618 gives 7692 miles which is the distance from Giza to Nazca on a circle prescribed on the globe. Now 7692 miles multiplied by the golden ratio again gives 12446, which is the distance from Nazca to Ankor Wat.

Ankor Wat and Giza pyramids are depiction of Draco constellation, with Thuban the north pole star from 3942 BC to 1793 BC. Vishnu’s first avatar matsya (sisumara or dolphin) and the second avatar, kurma (part of samudra manthan episode). My understanding is that punctuation is IGNORED by Gmail. It also means that you can not create an email using punctuation. I tried to create an email using the period at different places and Gmail did not allow me to create it. My first name 8 characters and the last name is six. I tried to create the email using 12 combinations.
CIBIL is not the only one. She got an advise from SBI (about some investment A/C) and also an auto insurance co about a policy. In case of SBI i had enough personal information that I could have hacked the account.

I post this to primarily generate interest in the readers and hopefully someone who can understand mechanical engineering in BTech level can comment on the validity of this theory.

Recently few people who track the subject said that the recent data regarding Earth's rotation, magnetic field variation etc are showing unprecedented change. The original author of the ECDO hypothesis @EthicalSkeptic in X had earlier said that a low reliability model projects a cataclysmic pole shift around the year 2030. But another one @zachariaspro who studied the data is now saying that the pole shift can happen in 2029 or even earlier. His previous estimate was around the year 2035.

Rian, this is where your objection misses the mechanism:

ECDO isn’t an energy-forcing a viscous mantle to spin. It’s an angular-momentum redistribution problem under a changing inertia tensor.

So:

1. Earth doesn’t need to be rigid. We already observe rapid axis motion (LOD shifts, J2 changes, Chandler wobble damping). Those only happen if the rotation axis can move relative to the body.

2. Mantle viscosity governs long-term relaxation, not short-timescale reorientation when mass distribution changes. Otherwise those observations wouldn’t exist.

3. Core–mantle coupling (EM, gravitational, topographic) transmits torque. It doesn’t “lock” the system. Strong coupling enables momentum transfer once thresholds are crossed.

4. “Whole-mantle tumbling” is a strawman. ECDO concerns rapid re-equilibration of the rotation axis, not spinning viscous rock through itself.

5. Energy arguments are misapplied. The system already has enormous angular momentum... the question is where it expresses as inertia evolves.

If viscosity forbade this, we wouldn’t simultaneously see:

record LOD acceleration
multi-σ J2 deviation
collapsed Chandler wobble
coherent geomagnetic + rotational anomalies

The eventual end-goal of this project is to deliver a monitoring system tracking Earth's rotational dynamics, gravitational field, and geomagnetic behavior.

I can tell you now though that what the data is showing us is completely unprecedented.

Joint statistical significance (the chances everything we see is coincidental): 13.5σ (1 in 10⁴¹).

Findings:

The Chandler wobble has collapsed to <2 milliarcseconds.

The Annual wobble (365d), which is driven by seasonal mass redistribution, also collapsed.

Never in history has this happened. Chandler was a slow death for the most part, and is documented quite heavily in the literature.

Annual though? Went from perfectly healthy to effectively zero in 5 years. Total collapse.

And its not just this. We have seven independent Earth system indicators all showing extreme values at the same time:

The main points on Graham Hancock's books on the subject are, the hard evidence of a previous pole shift which includes extensive geological markings, mass remnants of various animals etc cited by many geologists, the hostility of authorities and denial of support to any scientists who proposed catastrophic impacts etc. I had read his first two large books on this topic and the evidences are too numerous to ignore.

And there is even more hard geological evidence on the global scale provided by the author of theory @EthicalSkeptic in X and another must read on the topic is @nobulart in X.

Just one more thing that I repeatedly said earlier. If the mainstream science can purposefully avoid giving Consciousness its due importance despite the proof in two-slit experiment then the common man has to think about trusting mainstream science narration on every sensitive science topic. To be fair there is also a possibility of denying a cataclysm to avoid panic in the society.

In a biography of Swami SriYuktesvar Giri he was quoted as saying that we entered Dwapara Yuga in the year 1900 from the previous Kali Yuga. And there will be catastrophic earth changes in the near future after which a better world will come. His disciple, Paramahansa Yogananda, the author of the famous book 'Autobiography of a Yogi ' confirmed the prophecy. Electromagnetic coupling at the

the gravitational lock between inner core and mantle (Yang & Song 2023) and eventually
exceeding topographic coupling thresholds, producing phase jumps in both Chandler wobble
(2005) and Free Core Nutation (2021-2022). The current 2 percent residual represents
combined failure of the entire coupling system, not just one mechanism.

The implications for gravitational stability follow from established physics. The same CMB
coupling mechanisms that generate and maintain wobble oscillations also resist gravitational
torques from deep mantle density anomalies. The Large Low Shear Velocity Provinces beneath
Africa and the Pacific exert gravitational forcing that would, in the absence of sufficient
gyroscopic resistance, tend to reorient Earth's rotation axis toward a lower-energy equilibrium
configuration.

The rapidity of collapse, from 37 percent to 2 percent in less than 10 years, suggests threshold
dynamics rather than gradual secular change. Something triggered an accelerating failure
cascade beginning around 2015-2020. The cascade model identifies the trigger as
electromagnetic changes at the CMB, with the 2020 geomagnetic jerk coinciding with onset of
rapid annual wobble collapse. Whether this reflects electromagnetic regime change at the D″
layer, thermal evolution affecting CMB conductivity, or other deep-Earth processes remains
unclear. The observational record offers no precedent and theoretical models have not predicted
such rapid coupling failure.

coupling failure would likely result in a sudden pole shift in late March and July of the year 2026 unless some unknown mechanism prevents it !!

On December 29-30, Earth's rotational pole locked onto the LLSVP gravitational bearing at 59° NE, with alignment deviations of only 7° and 4° respectively.
The pole literally reversed against seasonal atmospheric forcing (which was expected movement toward 159° SW) and moved instead toward 59° NE.

I spent all day writing out a new paper, but I can't sit on this one any longer.

Historical polar motion, characterized by Chandler and annual wobbles maintained by core-mantle coupling, has fully ended. The coupling has failed, the resonance is dead, and the pole is now drifting at approximately 140x the historical secular rate.

And look at what just happened over the past few days. This is the sharpest hook in the modern record.

We are seeing an acceleration in polar drift of τ ≈ 1.3 months (doubling time ~1 month)

We had two cusps over December. The first resulted in an acceleration in polar movement of +26%. The second cusp resulted in a +65% acceleration increase.

Meaning that if this pattern continues, we are looking at runaway, exponential drift (i.e. rapid true polar wander) by mid-July or faster. This is because the only thing steering polar motion now is surfacing forcing.

But by July 2026, we would be looking at over 80 mas/day in drift, negating surface forcing steering altogether and letting polar drift lock in directionally.

Importantly, this is ONE MONTH of data extrapolated. January is everything. But man it doesn't look great.

A little deeper on the principle:

I do not wish to manufacture loosh-stress. Faith, properly understood, is the disciplined resistance to minting fear, anxiety, vengeance, and desperation in people’s lives.

If the event is imminent, my citing it serves only to generate the angst of loosh - and in doing so, it violates that faith. If the event lies two centuries in the future, or belongs solely to the past, then ECDO Theory becomes an act of service to mankind.

This could be very significant, but the lack of comparable precedent prevents me from making any definitive prediction. Context is crucial when analysing these datasets. Five decades is a minuscule window into a potentially centuries-long process. EOP data before the satellite era lacks the precision needed for milliarcsecond comparisons between measurements today and those from a hundred years ago. Almost everything observed in EOP data since 2020 is anomalous within this short satellite-era record, further complicating predictions, as shown in the DX-DY polar motion vs model comparison analysis at JPL. My intuition suggests this might be the first in a series of further inflections occurring at regular intervals over the next few years. I hope it signals a return to the pre-2020 record.

It is actually worse than that. People use science to dupe the general public. e.g. Pfizer and Moderna covid vaccines are proven rubbish, they don't work one bit. Moderna dudes were given nobel prize for some new fangled nonsense. The former NIH director Fauci is a fraud who actively colluded with the Chinese in creating covid. And then there is fraud in nobel prize by harvard dudes who usurped George Sudarshan's work in toto and renamed it to something else and this is what is taught in physics in the US.

The edition of Subhas Chandra Bose, The Indian Struggle, 1920-34 that I have, mentions the Hindu Mahasabha a few times, but Savarkar not at all.

As you might infer, in my opinion, the tone in which we approach the history of the Independence struggle is rather different from that of the participants themselves, and that bothers me.

Take a look at the stands on participation in World War II:

Indian National Congress: Opposed Indian participation in WWII without consent; launched the Quit India Movement in 1942. They argued that India could not fight for democracy abroad while being denied freedom at home. Participation under colonial rule was seen as hypocritical and exploitative.

Subhas Chandra Bose & INA: Actively sought to fight against the British by forming the Indian National Army (INA) with Axis support. Bose believed Britain’s wartime vulnerability was an opportunity to secure independence. He rejected Congress’s nonviolence, instead aligning with Japan and Germany to militarily liberate India.

Hindu Mahasabha: Supported cooperation with the British war effort. Leaders like V.D. Savarkar encouraged Hindus to enlist in the British Indian Army, reasoning that military training and loyalty could strengthen Hindus and position them better for post-war politics.

So think about it, for example, Hindu Mahasabha inspired recruits into the British Indian Army could end up fighting Bose and the INA!

Yet, I don't think, for all their disagreements about strategy, any of them doubted the other's sincerity and patriotism.

There are valid moral objections to all three positions, to working with the Axis powers, with Nazi Germany's record, and Japan with its record in China and Korea; for being passive knowing just how bad Hitler was; or for cooperating with the British who were the prime oppressors of India. It is hard to come to a firm decision about which is the least of the three evils.

The stakes were much higher, in my estimation, than most political issues facing India today. Yet the people of that time did not set themselves against each other the way we do today. Must we lose our culture to survive in today's world? There is no need to do so.
