Maybe they have reached a certain inflexion point - in terms of internal political situation, investigations results, geopolitical climate.
A number of tentacles of the hydra are being attacked simultaneously in a very planned manner.
Remember that whatever the Modi Sarkar does, it has to go before the courts.

The Judiciary is not sympathetic to Modi Sarkar or its nationalist philosophy or to patriotic points of view in general. It consists largely of judges who were appointed by UPA and its predecessors from a stable of Dynasty sycophants, corrupt kleptocrats, and viciously anti-Hindu "Idea of India" demagogues.

If Modi Sarkar had brought anything before these courts (in terms of Hurriyat, media traitors, Islamist mafia, etc.) without having identified, verified, collected, and tabulated a rock-solid body of legal evidence... these judges would have delighted in throwing the cases out of court. The political enemies of Modi Sarkar would have gone to town via their paid-media mouthpieces... "Blow to Modi", "Govt Incompetence", "Politically Vendetta of Baseless Legal Harrassment" etc.

I am not at all disappointed, but happy that Modi Sarkar took its time to build a strong case, rather than hurrying and making a mess of things like DMK/AIADMK when they try to weaponize the law against each other.

Completely agree with you.
You can see I mentioned "investigations results" :)
I guess they have rock solid case now, which even judiciary and media will not be able to dismiss as witch hunt or "persecution".

London Attack Had International Connection

At least one of the three London Bridge attackers was born in Pakistan, a Western security official said.

It couldn't be learned when the man came to Britain, or whether he had acquired British nationality. The nationalities of the other two London Bridge attackers were also not clear. ………………

From WSJ here:

London Hit by Deadly Terror Attack
UK Police release names of two of the three involved in the London Bridge attack.

Unsurprisingly a link to the Mohammadden Terrorism Fomenting Islamic Republic of Pakistan emerges. One of the attackers is identified as “a Pakistan-born British citizen”, Khuram Shazad Butt.

The other attacker is identified as Rachid Redouane aka Rachid Elkhdar who is identified as “Moroccan and Libyan”/

Both of the named attackers, going by name, are adherents of Mohammaddenism making the London Bridge attack yet another case of Islamic Terrorism carried out by Mohammaddens during the significant to Mohammaddens month of Ramzan aka Ramadan.

Does the Butt surname, make Khuram Shazad Butt a brainwashed and misguided individual from the Mohammadden Terrorism Fomenting Islamic Republic of Pakistan Occupied Jammu & Kashmir :?: :

Zakir Musa slams Indian Muslims for not joining jihad, calls them ‘world’s most shameless' - Aarti Tikoo Singh, ToI
Former Hizbul Mujahideen commander Zakir Musa, in his first message as an al-Qaeda operative, released an audio recording on Monday slamming Indian Muslims for not joining Islamic jihad for 'Ghazwa-e-Hind' (the final and last battle for the conquest of India).

Two senior Jammu & Kashmir police officers confirmed it was Musa's voice. Invoking the recent "atrocities" against Muslims in India, Musa reiterated that the war was not just limited to Kashmir. "It's a war between Islam and the infidel," he declared in his first direct address to Indian Muslims in an audio clip shared via Telegram and WhatsApp groups. Against a black al-Qaeda banner, with a world map added along with and two Kalashnikovs rifles emblazoned on two sides, Musa spoke in Kashmiri-accented Urdu.

Recalling the rape of a Muslim woman by a police constable on a running Bijnor-bound train, and multiple instances of lynching of Muslims by cow-vigilantes, Musa shamed Indian Muslims for not standing up for the victims. In a direct address to the survivor, Musa said, "Sister, I am ashamed and very sorry that we could do nothing for you."

In his rant against Indian Muslims, Musa said, "They are the most shameless Muslims in the world. They should be ashamed of calling themselves Muslims. Our sisters are getting abused and dishonoured and Indian Muslims keep screaming that 'Islam is peace'."

"They (Indian Muslims) are the most 'beghairat qaum' (shameless community) who cannot speak up against oppression and injustice. Is this what our Prophet and his 'salafs' (followers) have taught us? They gave their blood during the wars and martyrdom for the honour of our sisters," Musa said.

Referring to the historic Islamic 'Jung-e-Badr', he said, "They were 313 and ruled the world. We are crores now but only as slaves."

Warning Indian Muslims, Musa said, "You still have a chance to stand up and join us. Come forward or it will be too late for you." Show cow vigilantes "the muscle of Islam and Muslim community", he said.

The audio clip was interspersed with various Islamic quotes both in English and Urdu and pictures of al Qaeda founder Osama bin Laden killed by US Navy Seals in Abbottabad, Pakistan, in 2011.

"The fact that the whole world is against one religion shows just how powerful that religion is #Islam (sic)," a background quote read.

The clip carried a background display of al Qaeda's noted motivator and recruiter Imam Anwar al Awlaki (killed in Yemen in 2011) picture and quote, "The end result is that Islam will win."

In an indirect reference to the Hurriyat that has been insisting on resolution of the Kashmir issue under the UN resolutions, Musa said, quoting bin Laden, "If they want to solve our tragedies of today in the United Nations, then they are merely hypocrites who are seeking to deceive Allah and his messenger and the believers. Are not all our tragedies only because of the UN?"

The producer of the audio clip seemed to be some N N Ach whose initials were inscribed at the bottom, implying that Musa and his group are tech-savvy and have resources to create such high-end content.

"We will take revenge of each murder and every atrocity committed against a Muslim and establish Sharia not just in India but across the world," he warned.

He also refuted the claims of some unidentified masked terrorists that they belong to Zakir Musa's group and they helped police to kill Hizbul commander Sabzar Bhat.
The highlighted portions show that this is produced by Al Qaeda in the Indian Subcontinent (AQIS) which is under the control of the ISI.

From OneIndia News: Doval doctrine and Army's iron fist: Kashmir clean up in two monthsl
The Doval doctrine clubbed with the iron fist of the Indian Army is what you are getting to witness in Kashmir today. National Security Advisor, Ajit Doval's doctrine made says, "Do not overreact, it will pass off as they cannot sustain beyond a point." On the other hand, the Indian Army which has been given a free hand to deal with the Kashmir crisis has promised to wipe out every militant by the next winter sets in. NSA Ajit Doval Wiping out the 180 odd militants in the Valley is important for the restoration of peace in the Valley. The Army will deal with the protestors who try and foil operations. The Army wants the Valley to stay terrorist free before the winter sets in December. Once the winter sets in, terrorists do not infiltrate from Pakistan due to heavy snowfall. Pakistan is well aware of this and has been stepping up the infiltrations. However the Indian has been repeatedly hitting Pakistan posts across the Line of Control. These posts have been instrumental in the infiltrations as the soldiers provide cover fire to terrorists. While December is the outer limit given by the Indian Army to wipe out terrorists from the Valley, some officials that OneIndia spoke with say they are confident that this operation can be completed in two months. The Army units have prepared themselves on all fronts. There are strict instructions to stay on high-alert at all times. All Intelligence Bureau reports relating to Kashmir clearly show that terrorists would either look to strike during the wee hours of the day or hit convoys. An example of the soldiers being on high alert was displayed during the Sumbal attack. It took the soldiers of the CRPF not more than an hour to kill the four terrorists who launched the attack.

What is the Doval doctrine for Kashmir?
"Do not overreact, it will pass off as they cannot sustain beyond a point. The NSA made it clear that there was no need to overreact as these troublemakers could not sustain beyond a point. In 2010 when Kashmir was witnessing massive protests, Doval had said, "Do not overreact, it will pass off as they cannot sustain beyond a point." Doval says that the biggest problem was the policy of appeasement that was being followed since 1947. He felt that the focus should have been to vacate the Pakistan forces out instead of going to the United Nations. Also, by accepting Article 370 in the state, it only made the people of Jammu and Kashmir look different and this led to separatism. He also felt that such policies only gave Pakistan the upper hand in setting the agenda. He even spoke about the clarion calls for protests and stone pelting that would be issued from the mosques. He even justified the use of force while ascertaining that in most cases the protestors had a murderous approach. Doval, however, emphasised that use of force against innocents was wrong. The NSA had emphasised on the need to give Pakistan a decisive blow. Pakistan must realise and understand that it cannot take on India. Pakistan has this belief that it can take on India and only through a decisive blow will they understand that they thinking is wrong, Doval said. He also said that with such action, the separatists too would realise who the real power is.

The Indian Army's iron fist policy:
The Government of India has given the Army a free hand to deal with the situation in Kashmir. The Army won't be bogged down by political interference while dealing with the situation in the Valley, the government has made it clear. The tempo is up and the Army is going for the kill. There is no other way to deal with terrorists, highly placed sources say. The approach is more aggressive and while engaging with terrorists this is no scope for dialogue. They have to be gunned down and there is no two ways about it, the source also said. While on one hand the Army is dealing with the militants in the Valley on the other it is hitting Pakistan posts by carrying out punitive fire assaults. These strikes have ensured that at least 20 terrorists have been wiped out. More importantly the posts that are hit strategically were the ones aiding infiltration of terrorists by providing cover fire.

Activist seeks support for Kashmir struggle - The Hindu

Separatists & splittists in Tamil Nadu are organizing & supporting J&K terrorists' meeting in Chennai, a city where a number of Kashmiris have taken refuge for decades. This is a dangerous tendency for TN. Already, the ISI had setup base in Sri Lanka and lured a couple of Tamil Muslims to work for them. The dravidian parties still have embers of their longing for a separate 'Tamil Country'. These guys will link-up, a frightening prospect. These things should be nipped in the bud.
Kashmiri civil rights activist Khurram Parvez on Monday appealed to the people of Tamil Nadu to show solidarity with the people of Kashmir.

Genocide

“We in Kashmir were watching the Sri Lankan Tamil struggle closely and we were outraged at the genocide of Tamil civilians in that country. People in Kashmir feel there is a lot in common between what happened in Sri Lanka and what is happening in Kashmir,” he said, explaining why he thought people in Tamil Nadu could empathise with the struggle of Kashmiris.

Mr. Parvez had previously been arrested under the Public Safety Act and was released from Kotbalwal jail in Jammu in November last year after the Jammu and Kashmir High Court declared his detention to be illegal.

Losing hope

Mr. Parvez said Syed Ali Shah Geelani of the Hurriyat Conference and Syed Salahudeen of the Hizb-ul-Mujahideen had all started out as members of mainstream political organisations, but had changed tack after completely losing hope in the democratic process.

Medha Patkar, spokesperson of Narmada Bachao Andolan; S.P. Udayakumar, convenor of the People’s Movement Against Nuclear Energy; Kavita Krishnan, Secretary of the All India Progressive Women’s Association; and Gautam Mody of the New Trade Union Initiative (NTUI) had travelled to Kashmir in the first week of November 2016 to study the protests there.

Report

Mr. Parvez’s address on Monday was part of the event held to release the report titled ‘Why are the People of Kashmir Protesting?’ which was prepared based on the visit.

Almonds traded across LoC being used to fuel Valley unrest? - Neeraj Chauhan, ToI
The California badaam (almonds) that make their way from Pakistan to Jammu & Kashmir by way of trade across the Line of Control have become the focus of an investigation into funds used to sustain stone-pelting and other protests against security forces.

Top sources told TOI that individuals, including separatists and hawala dealers, questioned during the last two weeks revealed that several traders registered to import and export 21 listed items through trade facilitation centres at Salamabad and Chakkan-da-Bagh underinvoiced imported California almonds among other goods. This way, the traders reportedly helped Pakistan send money meant to stoke unrest. The sale of these goods led to windfall profits which are suspected to have been transferred to separatists. Officials said hawala traders also played a role in the transfer of funds for stone-pelting.

The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has found out that "terror funding" by Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) and the alleged transfer of cross-LoC trade proceeds are "interlinked", and that a large amount exchanged through import and export of goods has been ultimately used to foment "civil unrest" in Kashmir. The NIA had registered a case last year to probe irregularities in LoC barter trade, carried out by 300 registered traders in J&K. The agency filed a fresh case last month to investigate funding of stone-pelters and terrorists through separatists by LeT chief Hafiz Saeed and Pakistan.

NIA director general Sharad Kumar told TOI that "the cases are interlinked". "The investigation is at a crucial stage at this moment. Our teams are analysing the voluminous documents recovered during the raids," he added. About traders' links with separatists, sources said the former had often joined the 'bandh' called by Hurriyat hardliners.

The NIA raided several traders last week, including some prominent ones like former president of LoC Traders' Association Tariq Ahmed Khan, Haji Mohammad Sultan, Zahoor Ahmed Watali, Farooq Baggu and Kamal alias Bittu of Jammu, as well as hawala traders and separatists. During the raids, the agency teams recovered documents relating to LoC barter trade since 2008. According to sources, five traders have links with Hizbul Mujahideen and underinvoiced goods imported from Pakistan.

The information gathered by the NIA suggests several crores were handed over to overground workers of Hizbul Mujahideen or to separatist elements to fuel the protests and violence in the Valley following the killing of Hizbul commander Burhan Wani last year. Several other big traders were also reportedly in regular touch with the brass of Hurriyat's hardline faction.

The traders, NIA believes, even provide trucks to hide arms and ammunition smuggled from Pakistan. The security forces had arrested a truck driver, Irshad Ahmad Mantoo, last year following the discovery of an arms consignment in his vehicle. He had received it from a terrorist operative in POK.
Is there anything surprising in this? The Kashmiris are the most treacherous, treasonous, wily lot.

Use of human shield not Indian Army norm, situations dictate tactics General Bipin Rawat ;

http://www.india-aware.com/use-of-human ... pin-rawat/
After receiving much criticism from politicians and commentators, Army Chief Bipin Rawat on Thursday said “Indian Army doesn’t have a norm to use human shields, but the individual officers are entitled to decide the tactic depending on circumstances”.

He also dismisses criticism that the Army is trigger-happy, but says the level of violence in Jammu and Kashmir needs to be brought down for any meaningful dialogue with stakeholders. “Dialogue and violence cannot go together,” General Rawat told sources in an interaction here at his office.

General Rawat was asked to comment on a string of criticisms about his earlier remarks defending Major Gogoi’s action of tying a civilian to the bonnet of an Army jeep when facing a crowd of stone pelters in the valley.

He was also criticised for justifying the Major’s action that was described as unprofessional and damaging to the reputation of the Indian Army and being violative of the Geneva Convention that lays down rules of warfare.

“It (human shield) is not a general norm. As a practice it is not supported. But situations would dictate. Under the circumstances he (Major Leetul Gogoi) took a decision independently. He can’t look back at that stage and wait for orders,” General Rawat said. “If somebody has any other ideas as to how to tackle such a situation, then he can pass it on to us. We will take a look at it,” he said.

Social media misinformation: Kashmir youth instigated: Army Chief General Bipin Rawat ;

http://www.india-aware.com/social-media ... pin-rawat/
Army Chief General Bipin Rawat today said the misleading campaigns over the various social media platforms were behind instigating the Kashmiri youth against the country and the army.

Blaming social media for fomenting trouble in Jammu and Kashmir for the second time in two days, India Army chief Bipin Rawat on Saturday said that a Pakistan backed misinformation campaign on it was instigating the youth in the valley.
The Army Chief had recently said that the process of recruiting women in combat roles had begun, and that the matter was being taken up with the government. Firstly, we will start with women as military police jawans, will take next step after success, General Rawat added.

General Rawat also emphasized upon the entry of women cadets in the Indian Army realizing the need for change.

General Rawat, pitched for women in the force in the context of operations in Kashmir. This was because women protesters sometimes made things difficult for the Army, he said. He said that women should be included in combat roles as they are often used as shields by terrorists.

Many a times when we go for operations, we have to deal with the locals, sometimes during the operations our jawans have to confront women, which makes them uncomfortable. To succeed in such operations we need women as jawans, Army Chief General Bipin Rawat said.

NC particular was in power in GoI almost like DMK in the last two decades both with NDA and UPA. Now there is no power also.

a lot of sunni muslims have moved to jammu, bought land and also established residencies for voter ids.

All this has been facilitated by the mehabooba govt too

This has also been a move both by the NC and the congis who are complicit in this attempt to change demography.

Those prime slimes ghulam nabi azad and omar abdullah have also done their bit in fraudulent land allotments and preferential settlements of muslims in jammu.

The local KM driver we had there claimed that the majority of stone pelters are NC cadre and are the incidents are being orchestrated by local policemen loyal to NC. If you consider what words Adullahs have been farting around, the conspiracy theory seems quite credible.

This might be true in the context of Farookh Abdulla's recent electoral victory, where he deployed stone pelters to ensure a low turnout, and only those people/villages loyal to him got in to vote.
But otherwise, it seems that the second rung hurriyat leadership organizes and pays stone pelters via their contacts

no reason for him to get enmeshed in a slugfest with pigs.
JMT, Army general is not a babu who should put his head down and work on a desk. He's saying what his men and a lot of nationalists longed to hear for long. His actions (cries of pakis, trips of Bajwa to border and no. of pigs slaughtered) are anyways louder than his words.

the minute a general speaks, all sorts of vile creatures crawl out of the septic tank.

best to maintain dignity.

Gogoi was given a citation. He well deserved it.

If it was done without comment from anyone in govt it would have had a much greater impact.

BJP is not as politically and PR savvy as the rest and also they do not have enough media support.

These traitors in J&K have eaten off the hands of IA and Indian state for long. It's high time that these guys understand that IA chief is not politician who will change the tune when his constituency changes. Some terror needs to be struck in hearts of these guys. What's next? no war cries..no jai mahakali?
