I do not have a clear understanding whether Governor can mandate selecting a Speaker but he can definitely ask MVA to prove majority. So either ways (electing Speaker first or going for no-confidence) BJP wins.

Rana Ayyub and a few other BIF accounts start getting their tweets/accounts blocked
Moosewaala's video blocked
There has definitely been a more aggressive response to these BIF folks, both online and in person than we've seen before, Wondering if it's part of the Nupur Sharma fallout or a bigger strategy coming into play especially when you combine with the increased activity by ED and investigative agencies
I'm sure the hooman right orgs in NY and DC will be "deeply troubled" by these or maybe their too busy watching their country lose all its constitutional reforms one by one

Australian citizen reportedly but the clown spends much of his time in Delhi/Mumbai/Ahmedabad hobnobbing with his fellow BIF soldiers. He was arrested in Delhi this evening , they should have thrown more serious charges on this ba5tard but for now it is bailable "hurting religious sentiments" charge. Why and who is stopping 'Alt News' from being completely shutdown and its founders thrown behind bars for all the riots and damages i do not know.

More than the 'hurting religious sentiments', it's the diplomatic crisis zoo bear's actions led to, what got him sent to jail. He should be tried for 'working against national interests'. If Amit Shah doesn't torment these BIFs for the next 2 years then HM post should be open for new candidates in '24.

Good to see NaMo govt has started cracking the whip on BIFs, rioters etc. I wish they like how it feels, get addicted to it and keep cracking it ever more vigorously and non stop.
I'd want to believe that the serious criticism and lampooning has got the attention of powers that be (especially if they read BRF
) and I fervently hope this change of attitude endures.

They will make noise irrespective of being treated softly. Govt seems to have realised this. Keeping them busy in fighting court cases and investigative agencies will help in managing their energy.

Has the arrest been made? This seems to be a salvo fired across the bows of Sonia's ship. This personal staff member is a long time associate of the Ghandi clan (right from the days of Indira Ghandi). He is aged around 71, not a Congress party 'leader' of any sort, not involved in any active politics, and have been flying under the radar.

Not just childish. He has insulted the (presumptive) President of India. That is an arrestable offense as far as I know.

It has not been blocked, just some offensive posts have been withheld. However, given the lying gaslighting ecosystem that supports her, the noise being made is as if another holocaust has occurred.

There will be more of such deliberate attempts to create riots in the country. Especially in states ruled by opposition. This is all part of the narrative of 'religious intolerance' they are trying to build in time for 2024.

Seems to be a direct message to stop proceeding against Jehadis, their sympathisers and other worthies like Teesta, RB Sreekumar etc. Rajasthan is a Congress ruled state, so expect the state police establishment to go slow on any investigation.
