JVL writes in The Bulwark that Trump, unlike other members of his guild, is openly corrupt.
Trump and the $10 billion lawsuit. Yesterday the president of the United States sued his own Internal Revenue Service for $10 billion. This suit follows an October complaint in which he sought $230 million in compensation from his own Justice Department.
In both cases, the decisions on whether the executive branch will fight against Trump’s claims or pay him will be made by people he appointed and can replace at a moment’s notice. So in effect, he will decide how the government will respond to his attempts to extract money from it.
When asked about this thoroughly corrupt state of affairs, Trump did not try to dissemble or gaslight. He did not pretend that ackshually he was only trying to restore trust or blah-blah-blah. No. He acknowledged that he has the power to do this thing, and it is good for him, and so he will do it.
“I’m the one that makes the decision and that decision would have to go across my desk and it’s awfully strange to make a decision where I’m paying myself,” the president said.
How refreshing.

The DoJ released an additional 3 million documents related to Epstein today.
From them we now know that both Trump and Lutnick were lying when they said they had cut ties with Epstein around 2004-2005.
They were hobnobbing with Epstein in 2012.
When Usha and I were having the debate about whether we were gonna have a fourth kid, I said, 'Honey, we've got an expanded child tax credit and we've got the Trump accounts. We gotta take advantage of this stuff.'"
Newly released Epstein files mention Trump in some really messed-up claims.
One says girls got brought to his Mar-a-Lago place for these "calendar girl" parties, where Epstein supplied them and things got auctioned off or whatever.
Another tip claims kids were abused, checked for "tightness" by touching them, and basically sold to rich guys.
A few reports name Trump, Epstein, and Ghislaine Maxwell directly.
One really dark one says a girl was 13 when Trump raped her, forcing oral sex and more in rooms.
These are just summaries from complaints and tips in the files.
The government calls a bunch of the Trump stuff "untrue and sensationalist" claims from around 2020.
https://sundayguardianlive.com/editors- ... te-166290/ Future of India-U.S. strategic partnership is indeterminate
Future Presidents of the United States may continue to adopt Trump’s policies and strategies, either to the same degree or more, not less.
Chintamani Mahapatra, January 25, 2026
Is US policy towards India under the Trump 2.0 Administration in a transitory phase in the evolution of India-US strategic partnership? Is President Trump’s tariff policy selectively targeting India with highest tariff rate on Indian exports to the US just a hard bargaining tool? Does the Trump White House’s embrace of the Pakistani Government and, more particularly the most powerful Field Marshal of the Pakistani Army signal a reduction of India’s place in America’s South Asia policy? Does the ability of China to arm-twist the Trump Administration by weaponizing rare earth and critical minerals to reduce the highest ever announcement of tariff rate on any country—145% to 45%, set the limits on Trump’s Quad strategy in the India-Pacific? Is Trump’s lenient approach to deal with Putin combined with punitive tariffs on India a message that India-US strategic partnership no longer remains the same?
These are the issues that indicate that the upward trajectory of India-US strategic partnership seems to be at least temporarily halted. India does not occupy a priority of place in President Trump’s foreign policy strategy. The belief in the strategic circles in India that the Trump 2.0 Administration would be better for India, or at least less problematic, has proven to be mistaken. The conviction in the foreign policy community that the personal rapport between President Trump and Prime Minister Narendra Modi would alleviate the strategic collaborations between India and the United States too has turned out to be specious.
There is no doubt that the personalities of leaders play a significant role in relations between nations. But that there could be serious exceptions have been amply brought out by the personality of the current occupant of the American White House. President Trump does not believe in the principle of sovereign equality of nations. He leaves no stone unturned to prevent legal hurdles—domestic constitutional constraints or international law, from coming on the way of his political and economic goals. That he has imperial ambitions is clearly reflected in his domestic agenda and the brutal methods that he approves to deal with illegal immigrants. He is punitive in his approach towards his political opponents and critics of his policies at home. Among numerous examples, the instances of criminal investigations against the Chairmen of the Federal Reserve and Governor of Minnesota stand out. President Trump just does not respect the principles of separation of powers and checks and balances, which are cardinal principles of American Constitution. More consequential are his anti-poor and anti-minority policies, reflected in his opposition to the very concept of “equity, inclusion and diversity” and his attempts to control the education system in the US.
His imperial ambitions are, of course, not limited to continental United States. Occupying the most commanding position of the most powerful country in the world, Trump treats other countries as subordinate to the United States. He has marginalized Africa; he tries to set the agenda and prevent the role of other powers in West Asia; he has contempt for contemporary Europe; he aims at reviving the Monroe doctrine of the early 19th century to exclusively dominate over Latin America and seeks to do trade and business with the India-Pacific countries on his terms and conditions.
The way President Trump has humiliated president Volodymyr Zelenskyy of Ukraine, insulted President Cyril Ramaphosa of South Africa, mocked French President Emmanuel Macron of France, declared himself as Acting President of Venezuela, desires to see his Secretary of State Marco Rubio as the President of Cuba, demands ownership over Greenland and many more, throws a clear light on his motivation to be a global monarch.
However, there is a big difference between cultivating an ambition and realising it. By undermining the United Nations, refraining from upholding multilateralism, withdrawing the American membership from scores of international organisations, Trump will certainly succeed in disrupting the current global order and international institutions. But the global order, albeit with a difference, will survive the Trump Administration.
Nevertheless, India needs to draw hard lessons from the foreign policy of the Trump Administration. It is worth deliberating why President Trump undermines India-US strategic partnership painstakingly built over two decades and enjoying bipartisan support in Washington’s Beltway.

New Epstein documents confirm what many have been telling you over the years. They weren't just sexually abusing and trafficking children. They were literally torturing them to death as well. The truth is darker than you could ever imagine.
It's always been about the children.

Found Ghislaine's bank statements in the Epstein Files and it really looks like they were using boat rentals from a known Disney Cruise line stop at Epstein Island called Captain Nautica Snorkeling Expedition to traffick children.
Disney Cruise Lines stop here. It's on their itinerary.
If you look at the statement theres a dug store purchase on the 28th. A flight from Epstein Island to NY on thr 29th. A boat rental from a known Disney Cruise line stop, and then another flight from the Island to NY.
The passengers names are redacted most likely due to them being victims.
We spotlighted Captain Nautica Disney Cruise stop in the past for possible trafficking operations by children on Cruise ships. I'd like to know if a Disney Cruise ship arrived there on the 29th of 06' or around that timeframe.

There is complicity of the powerful across the political spectrum in this.
Remember, these are the dry facts of the events per the DoJ:
The Palm Beach (Florida) Police Department (PBPD) began investigating Jeffrey Epstein in 2005, after the parents of a 14-year-old girl complained that Epstein had paid her for a massage. Epstein was a multi-millionaire financier with residences in Palm Beach, New York City, and other United States and foreign locations. The investigation led to the discovery that Epstein used personal assistants to recruit girls to provide massages to him, and in many instances, those massages led to sexual activity. After the PBPD brought the case to the State Attorney’s Office, a Palm Beach County grand jury indicted Epstein, on July 19, 2006, for felony solicitation of prostitution in violation of Florida Statute § 796.07. However, because the PBPD Chief and the lead Detective were dissatisfied with the State Attorney’s handling of the case and believed that the state grand jury’s charge did not address the totality of Epstein’s conduct, they referred the matter to the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) in West Palm Beach for a possible federal investigation.
The FBI brought the matter to an Assistant U.S. Attorney (AUSA), who opened a file with her supervisor’s approval and with the knowledge of then U.S. Attorney R. Alexander Acosta. She worked with two FBI case agents to develop a federal case against Epstein and, in the course of the investigation, they discovered additional victims. In May 2007, the AUSA submitted to her supervisors a draft 60-count indictment outlining charges against Epstein. She also provided a lengthy memorandum summarizing the evidence she had assembled in support of the charges and addressing the legal issues related to the proposed charges.
For several weeks following submission of the prosecution memorandum and proposed indictment, the AUSA’s supervisors reviewed the case to determine how to proceed. At a July 31, 2007 meeting with Epstein’s attorneys, the USAO offered to end its investigation if Epstein pled guilty to state charges, agreed to serve a minimum of two years’ incarceration, registered as a sexual offender, and agreed to a mechanism through which victims could obtain monetary damages. The USAO subsequently engaged in additional meetings and communications with Epstein’s team of attorneys, ultimately negotiating the terms of a state-based resolution of the federal investigation, which culminated in the signing of the NPA on September 24, 2007.
What the above summary does not tell you for instance is "Based on recently released, previously sealed documents regarding the 2006 Florida investigation, the Palm Beach County grand jury that investigated Jeffrey Epstein heard from a very limited number of witnesses during a session that lasted less than four hours on July 19, 2006."
There were supposedly dozens of victims ready to testify, the grand jury in Florida heard from only two. Documents revealed that prosecutors in the 2006 case questioned victims about their own potential misconduct, such as their ages and incomes listed on social media, rather than focusing solely on the accusations against Epstein.
And so on. Epstein's 18 months of incarceration were of the kind, report to the jail every evening.
Think about the provisioning of visas for children from East Europe procured by Epstein. How could it not raise flags in the State Department?
All these wealthy, powerful men, not recognizing Epstein for what he was? Not just Americans, the British Royal Family, former Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Barak, etc.
Etc.
There was and probably continues to be a deep rot growing over three decades at the heart of government.

Tainted perhaps, but not compromised - at least what you exhibited above. The way the rich operate is to spend their spare change "doing good" -- it is for public relations mostly. You don't know these "philantrophists", you don't move in their social circles, they support your work with some money, are you going to look closely at their not-public background (which you are not equipped to do, anyway) before accepting it?
Statement by the Official Spokesperson to clarify certain reports
January 31, 2026
We have seen reports of an email message from the so-called Epstein files that has a reference to the Prime Minister and his visit to Israel. Beyond the fact of the Prime Minister’s official visit to Israel in July 2017, the rest of the allusions in the email are little more than trashy ruminations by a convicted criminal, which deserve to be dismissed with the utmost contempt.

Interestingly, both CNN and Fox News are silent on the Epstein files disclosure.
The top two headlines are still "Govt shutdown" and "MN".
They will let this Eppstein Files die a quiet death. The only one who has anycase against is Prince Andrew. He cannot be proceeded against. Brits would not extradite him come what may.
All others involved are rich, powerful, and famous.
