BIG NEWS

1) RBI cuts its US Treasury holdings to below $200 billion, reducing exposure by over $50 billion in one year.

2) At the same time, India has increased its gold reserves to around 880 metric tonnes.

3) The move signals a strategic shift in India’s foreign asset allocation.

4) Despite the reshuffle, India’s forex reserves remain steady at about $685 billion.

5) RBI to strengthen reserve stability amid global economic uncertainty.

The question is where is the gold stored. There is no guarantee that US won’t decide to just arbitrarily seize your gold because orange man thinks it is. No gold should be stored in US or UK physically. The US cannot be trusted at all.

Trump THREATENS Tariffs & Aggression on Multiple Fronts! US captures Maduro & wife on drug charges—Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Mexico, Uruguay, Spain slam "dangerous precedent." Trump shrugs: Cuba "ready to fall" without Venezuelan oil; Mexico must stop drugs or face troops; needs Greenland for security amid Russia/China presence. His Arattai directly challenged the DS funded Whatsapp!

Now his personal life is being pulled in!

Trump wanted to Badger Modi in June-July 2025 when Deal was almost there. Even in November 2025, we were close to a deal but then India’s stern no on F-35 blew it up as US trade delegation left empty handed.

The Pre-Conditions imposed by America:

1) Stop Russian energy & Arms
2) Tie up with US MIC
3) Open Indian Agri & Dairy to US Corporates
4) India should be part of US bloc leave all Chinese dominated Blocs or risks being cut off from US Tech & Finance
5) Give Trump a mega Defence Deal
Modi Refused on all these counts, they targeted Reliance for arbitrage on Russian Oil, Adani by DoJ, Tech Companies by H1B Visa & Immigration laws. Unleashed Bessent & Navarro on India.
May I add:
6) Like the UK, Japan, N. Korea, Germany and other allies, follow the US lead in foreign affairs. Support China at US whim or sanction Russia at DJT's wish.

Officially there is no title as per an RTI response. This is a Congress run propaganda as they were the ruling elite for decades. If you really ask the people and get it voted, may be Netaji or Chatrapathi Shivaji Maharaj will emerge as the Father of the nation.

RTI Foundation of India
"Although Mahatma Gandhi is popularly known as 'Father of the Nation', no such title was ever formally conferred upon him by the government," Director and Central Public Information Officer (CPIO), Ministry of Home Affairs said in a reply to an application filed under the Right to Information (RTI) Act seeking information about declaration of Mahatma Gandhi as 'Father of the Nation'.

Mahatma Gandhi cannot be accorded the 'Father of the Nation' title by government as the Constitution does not permit any titles except educational and military ones, the Home Ministry has said.

In an RTI response to Lucknow-based student Aishwarya Parashar, the Home Ministry has told her that no action was taken on her plea to the President to declare Mahatma Gandhi as 'Father of the Nation' because Article 18 (1) of the Constitution does not permit any titles except education and military ones.

Yes. Was aware of that. Also saw a document purported to be an official British order instructing all officials to henceforth address him as Mahatma Gandhi and not M K Gandhi.

Anyway it was and still seems to be very convenient for all parties to have him with the title.

IMVHO I doubt there will be any consensus on the title for anyone else now. A step like having different leaders on different currency denomination also results in argument on the stature.

Anyway I personally would rather have all the great leaders to be known as the illustrious sons and daughters of the motherland.

But this is OT here. Hence stopping.

Parties will change colors like chameleon when the realization within the people happen. BJP don't want to risk political capital over such an act. Since there is much more awareness of the kind of things done in the past and this is not an official denomination, there will be very less chance this will stay for long. At some point in the near future, this could get challenged. Also If someone want to make it official parties like the DMK could jump in asking for Periyar to be given the title. So no govt will touch it for the time being and people will eventually figure out.
