The question is where is the gold stored. There is no guarantee that US won’t decide to just arbitrarily seize your gold because orange man thinks it is. No gold should be stored in US or UK physically. The US cannot be trusted at all.

Not just the gold., US / UK treasury and dollar denominated holdings as well are all at risk
