persons, the number of people whose names have appeared in the list more than once

The list published on January 1 had 2,73,65,345 voters. In the new list, it has come
down to 2,71,62,290. 1,10,646 new people have added their names to the list and there
is a decrease of 3,13,701 people.
The draft electoral roll information is available on the website of the State Chief Electoral
Officer (www.ceo.kerala.gov.in). Taluk and Village Offices and Booth Level Officer also
have electoral rolls. Recognized political parties can collect voter list from Taluk Office.
Complaints about the list etc can be submitted till December 8.
Those who have completed 17 years of age can apply in advance to add their name to
the electoral roll from this year. After submitting the application, the application will be
verified and added to the list based on whether the candidate attains the age of 18
years on the 4 qualifying dates of January 1, April 1, July 1 and October 1. After this
you will get the identity card. The final voter list will be published on January 5, 2023
with eligibility date of January 1, 2023.

A bench of Justices B R Gavai and B V Nagarathna said the judgement of the top court in the case of A G Perarivalan, one of the convicts in the case, is applicable in their matter.
Earlier on May 18, the apex court invoking its extraordinary power under Article 142 of the Constitution, ordered the release of Perarivalan, who had served over 30 years in jail.

A carefully managed ideology now is getting institutional support.
The Dravidian movement started off as a political ploy to corner the votes based on identity. It was and continues to be a success. Decades of working hand in hand with missionaries, the minority population is large enough for them to get a decent show in every election.
The recent years has seen a more sinister trend. Openly advocating "Union of states" , gradual frequency increase of the word "separatism" and now the movement is heading into dangerous territory by standing by assassins of the PM of India. Worse, silence from the CM on a potential terrorist attack a, they are turning full Paki
K Annamalai, for all his popularity, is unproven in elections. I have seen stanch devout HIndus voting for the Dravidian party.
It is going to be a hard battle from here. The only saving grace is that DMK is known for its corruption, rowdyism, mismanagement - they will not fail to deliver on that. They only manage to get to one term at a time , show their true self and go back to Oppn for the next and until memory fades.
The hardest part of it all in a DMK regime is the utter loot, destruction of our temples. In a visit to Kumbakonam, known for its astounding temples every 200m away, the town was dirty, temple property taken over by nonveg restaurants, walls of temples used as urinals and also as dumping grounds.
The rowdy gang is now going head to head with an Chidambaram temple management. Millenia of unbroken traditions crumbling before my very eyes. Its hard and it hurts.
Sorry folks. Such is the state of the temples ....I genuinely wish for a curse of generational mental retardation for the families of all these treacherous asuras.

Mylapore, the timeless land, has become the drug-capital of Chennai. Drug peddlers hang around outside schools and lure girls into the drug habit, raping them etc. LTTE, Missionary, ISI axis is active in TN. There was a major drug bust in Trichy recently.
