Did anyone know this....

@mohandastg· 5h

I have inspected around 11,000 docs in National Archives of India, New Delhi on the murder of Mahatma Gandhi.

One of the most interesting things I found was that there was an attempt to convert Godse who was in jail under trial, to christianity!

So J Sai Deepak in his recent talk at Mysore had mentioned that Karnataka Govt. has given up on its announcement of Freeing Hindu temples from State control. This recent announcement was made very quietly and has gathered very little attention. Found a news article about the same. Posting in full...

A year after grand announcement, Karnataka government’s ‘free temples’ plan shelved
In December 2021, Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai had announced that his government will ‘free temples from government control’ in the state. The grand announcement came at the BJP’s state executive meeting and was mooted as a first-of-its-kind move. Giving autonomy to temples has been a pet project of the right-wing for long, and also featured in the Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) 2018 Karnataka manifesto. But a year later, little has been done to realise this Sangh Parivar dream.

Before we get into where the issue stands, here’s what the policy is. Karnataka has around 1,80,000 temples, of which only 35,500 temples come under the Muzrai Department. But contrary to right-wing propaganda, the funds collected from these temples are not used to fund any minority organisation or for any other purpose for that matter. A small percentage of the funds collected from the temples go in the common pool and this in turn is used to pay for the maintenance of the smaller Hindu temples that don’t make enough money. The state government gives funds from the state exchequer’s tax money for development and maintenance of Hindu temples.

During his budget speech, CM Bommai had announced that “autonomy will be given to temples coming under the purview of the Endowment Department. Necessary legal action will be taken to delegate the discretion of developmental works to the temples.” He had proposed to do so by devolution of functions, funds, and functionaries.

While CM Bommai’s announcement was hailed by many in his party, the BJP, and its supporters as a ‘bold move’ to ‘safeguard Hindu interests’, in practice it turned out to be complicated to implement. In January and February of 2022, several meetings were held between officials of the Muzrai Department, CM Bommai, and Minister for Hajj and Waqf Shashikala Jolle. And in April, the Department submitted a report documenting the historic reasons behind bringing the temples under government control and how temples gradually became centres of economy. The presentation compares laws to govern temples in different states like The Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments Department of the Government of Tamil Nadu, the Andhra Pradesh Charitable and Hindu Religious Institutions and Endowments Act, 1987, the Bombay Public Trusts Act, 1950, the Kerala Devaswom Boards, and the Gujarat Public Trust Act, 2011.

The Muzrai Department contended that in many of these states, governments have taken a prominent role in the administration of temples, and trusts have been a common form of alternative mode for management of temples. It added that bigger temples are governed by separate laws for their management, and in some cases, smaller temples have been neglected.

In subsequent meetings, the Department reportedly informed the Chief Minister that the issue of giving complete autonomy to temples is a very complex issue and could lead to violation of several laws of the land. According to a source privy to the proceedings of the series of meetings, representatives of the Department told the CM that welfare of people will be compromised and the move could lead to caste discrimination. “There are huge assets and large tracts of land involved in this transaction. In addition, there is also a social aspect that has to be considered,” a senior government functionary who took part in the meetings said.

The source added that just around 200 temples – which have huge incomes – are in demand to be taken over and run. But there are no takers for the rest of the temples.

In view of these discussions, the project has now been put on the backburner and the CM has instructed that the temples be administered as they were, a source in the CMO said.

So despite the state BJP’s grandstanding, after a more detailed look the state government has come to the realisation that ‘freeing temples’ might make for a great Hindutva campaign but is an onerous task to implement and has shelved the project.

The solution is to create an institution like the Waqf Board. Call it the Karnataka Temples Board. The board should manage and run the 200 top revenue-generating temples in the state. All money collected from the temples should be deposited with the Board. This money should be used to run subsidized schools, hospitals and orphanages for Hindus, and pay for maintenance / priest salaries of smaller temples across the state. How hard would this be? If this is working for Muslims and Christians, why can't it work for Hindus?

The total revenue collected from Karantaka from the 200 temples would be more than 500 crores a year -- a substantial sum that can be used to run schools, orphanages and hospitals for Hindus to free them from the clutches of missionaries, who lure them by offering the same services for free.

The Kukke Subramanya temple in Dakshina Kannada district alone has annual earning of over Rs 100 crore. Plus, temple lands should be developed to earn money from these, and added to the kitty in addition to direct donations. All this can easily give an annual revenue of Rs 1,000 crore that can totally revolutionize the lives of poor Hindus in Karnataka.

The NSSO survey estimates that Indian temple economy is worth $40 billion (2.32% of GDP).

sanjayc ji,

Three extremely contentious issues will dominate the formation of any sort of a "management" board at the apex level.

The huge monies involved will automatically attract charlatans of which there are many in our tribe and biradari and massive corruption like it already exists in the abrahamic "boards" will surely follow, like night follows the day.

"elected" bahubali politicians will dominate these boards and front for political parties and this will be the beginning of the end because the vast majority of "donations" are in cash and kind, especially gold and all these are untraceable

caste domination will ensure that the already stark divisions in society will be further accentuated rather than mitigated or alleviated. Already many such caste vote banks are responsible for government formations in almost all states. Many temples are already caste dominated in terms of devotees and and the consequent preferred lineage of pujaris

Many of the learned members will be able to add a huge number of points to amplify the situation further.

But I do agree with you that we need to think hard and deep as to how best we can administer and uplift the Hindu samaj that has been wilfully supressed thus far and this cunning exclusion and the deliberately engineered collapse of the Hindu society and the caste divisions that have been sown, nurtured and so deeply embedded into the very being of the majority since the days of the britshit raj.

The britshits enlisted the eager collaboration of the abrahamics and these BIF forces still dominate the Indian deep state to such an extent that a gori and her family mafia have run the country to their benefit for the past so many decades with house negro mentality brown colonial bootlickers desperate to do her bidding and earn her favor to establish, in turn their own little mafias in the states.

AP, KER, TN and the NE have been wrenched away right in front of the very noses of the majority which helplessly and of course "secularly" funded all this by meekly paying their "taxes" and being good little middle class boys and girls.

Nepal was turned in less than a decade, such is the enormously corrosive power and hijacked state authority wielded by the BIF.

^^Agree with Chetakji here
These boards will be an unmitigated disaster and end in further fracturing already divided society.
Looking at SuSa tactic re HIndu Temples he is driven by a separate agenda me thinks
My concern is whether these boards might lead to breaking up of not just the society but much more and dangerously more!!
Is there any way to tweak the Muzrai act to see where the money ends up
As 70+% of the populations is Hindu what if there is collateral benefit to the other 30% provided the money is used exclusively for the betterment of the society i.e., schools, orphanages etc apart from paying adequate salaries to the priests but not to be used to pay for madrasa and maulvis

Rsatchi ji,

The fight back and the pushback has already started because of the increased awareness that has come about due to the changed politico social climate and the prejudiced civilizational abuse rammed down the throats of the majority by the malicious manipulation of history that originated in the colonially planned changing of the narrative that sought to exploit, supress, tyrannize and keep as subservient a vibrant and flourishing and the truly secular dharmic society influenced majority.

The sense of being wilfully wronged, being exploited and finally the stark realization of how they were denuded of political power resulting in the inability to to set their own destiny and the denial over control the levers of social growth like education, finances and denial of religious rights is also increasing due to improved access to social and visual media.

The need to have a say in the national discourse is firmly getting rooted in the same soil where once, only the shadowy offshore powers had a free run and sway and the abrahamic nations were the only ones who benefitted most of the time. The once hobbled horse has now tasted freedom and she is beginning to run freely, testing her sinews, revelling in her abilities to grow and build her home, to have a clearer view of the horizon, the opening up of limitless opportunities, to have a decisive say in the world that had conspired against her and had enslaved her for all these centuries past.

And now, her view on the ukraine war has shaken the world, as has her stand on china.

This is certainly not the India that they wanted to see.

So, first of all, we need to secure as well as control our own home and the ecosystems that most affect us.

The colonially engineered and hugely dominating corrosive influence over the mind of the majority by the abrahamics has to end forthwith and this is so deeply ingrained into the society of the majority by the means of schools and media and healthcare.

These three conversion mandated ecosystems have the inherent ability to change, modify and influence the narrative and that is exactly why they have been captured, funded, staffed and taken over by the BIF.

we need to wrest back control and establish the ability to set our own narratives, ones that are important to us and serve the needs of the society as opposed to that of the BIF.

Slowly but surely, the overton window is shifting, and we need to forever move away from rome rajya.

Rsatchi ji,

The schools and media and healthcare is vital for the growth of soft power, and the Modi govt is fast changing the status quo in these very ecosystems. These three conversion mandated ecosystems have the inherent ability to change the demography and also induce regime changes via nurtured vote banks where desired.

The dravidians cry the loudest when such "reforms" affect their worldview and that is the clearest sign that the reforms are starting to make a difference by biting into the very core of their miserable existence.

The cry is a rallying mechanism that is being used desperately to consolidate the troops who are slowly but increasingly beginning to desert the foreign donation fuelled, caldwell built, dravidian captained titanic and a huge iceberg named Annamalai is fast looming on the horrizon, who knows...

The FCRA has been a decapitating strike.

Regarding the temples, the Modi govt wouldn't have come this far without some serious thoughts on the temples.

This is a centuries old britshit created problem and has become ingrained in our mindset as it was deliberately intended to be.

Almost all political parties are not willing to free the temples. It is a very huge and unaccounted cash cow, can be used for any nefarious or especially non Hindu purpose as is seen in AP, KER, TN and WB.

The BIF funded and hard held abrahamic control over schools, all forms of media, and healthcare ecosystems are being dismantled and these ecosystems and their nefarious offshoots as well as the subsystems that they have spawned are vital to their own political growth agenda and so the internationally supported victim cards are quickly unleashed when the frocked and tented tribes cry majoritarianism or use the more popular and the more emotionally evocative "persecution" of minorities stories in India.

But the need to free temples is now very much out there in the open and the genie will not be put back into the bottle. Expect hiccups along the way but .....

in the fullness of time.....इंतज़ार कीजिए

BTW, I think that one should let these abrahamic "minorities" keep their "rights".

The Hindu samaj also wants these very identical, matching and carbon copy rights, same to same, no more, no less.

and once the playing field is levelled, as indeed it should always have been, as mandated by the constitution of any "secular" country, but cunningly twisted by the abrahamics operating through the britshits, and the britshits who operated via our two very prominent and renowned and legendary "freedom fighters" and their conspiring cohorts of successive abrahamic "education ministers" and pliant babooze who queered the pitch for the majority and also started the multinational controlled and commie dominated industry of "Indian history writing".

The word "minority" is not mentioned anywhere in the Indian constitution.

It is a BIF cooked up malevolent construct and a virulent, malignant and spiteful congi commie abrahamic generated narrative imposed primarily because the abrahamics feared that the majority would do to them (the abrahamics who collaborated with the britshits) what the abrahamics would have done to the Hindus, as decreed by their book if they ever became the majority.

This is unmistakably borne out by the happenings in afghanistan, pak and beediland. They have already genocided the Hindus or are in the process of genociding the Hindus like it is happening in beediland and pak

Once that "same to same" constitutionally mandated equality is rightfully returned and our abrogated natural rights are fully restored, then we shall see how things turn out.....

The efforts to destabilize and disrupt the majority samaj continues unabated, the liberandu wokes are at it again
Same-sex marriage will not be appropriate for India's culture & tradition. But some leftist & liberal activists went to Supreme Court (SC) & asked to legalise same-sex marriage. It will not be appropriate if two judges sit in SC & make a decision about it: BJP MP Sushil Modi

Two judges can't decide on such an imp social issue, which warrants a debate in Parliament & in society at large. Some left-liberals & activists are making efforts to change the ethos of the country. I urge govt to strongly argue against same-sex marriage in court: Sushil Modi

So says a trustee of the fraud foundation, a notorious break-India foundation

In India, reality means corruption, dirty roads, pollution&many times no power.

Reality in Singapore means clean road, no pollution&lots of power.

Your responsibility to create that new reality: Infosys founder NR Narayana Murthy at GMRIT, as cited in GMR release

Talking of reality we know the story of "World class" software created by Infosys for GST and IT departments that required the repeated intervention of the Finance minister for fixing ..

sanjayc ji,

The goras will ensure to make it operative under the Hindu marriage act and will not fiddle with the abrahamic codes.

the dowry act was brought in to sow discord among the dharmics and split up families, though the practice of dowry is equally pervasive, if not actually far more prevalent among the abrahamics.

Marital rape is another such disruption that they will again attempt to bring in, and under some law or the other that is codified mainly for the Hindus and despite what has been said by the govt as quoted below, serious attempts by FFNGO influenced, extremely well funded and copiously paid woke SC lawyers are still underway to somehow bring it in. There are more than enough brown colonial bootlickers who have readily sold their souls to such BIF entities and stand ever ready to do their bidding.
In 2016, the government told the Rajya Sabha that the concept of marital rape was an international one and cannot be applied in the Indian context due to factors of poverty, illiteracy, social customs, religious beliefs and the 'sanctimony of marriage.'

Rohingya Muslims fleeing the Islamic heaven of Bangladesh want "Hindu-dominated" India or "Buddhist-dominated" Sri Lanka to help. Can we send them to Iran or Papistan or Syria instead?

https://www.cnn.com/2022/12/21/asia/roh ... index.html
Last year, India’s Supreme Court ruled that Rohingya refugees in India could be forcibly returned to Myanmar. India is not party to the UN Refugee Convention and lacks a national refugee protection structure, according to the UNHCR. Rohingya refugees are often labeled illegal immigrants subject to deportation from India.
Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s government has been criticized for trying to send back Rohingya over the years. Khan said he wants the international community “to please see us as human beings.” “Let our people disembark from the boat,” he said. “Please save the Rohingya. Otherwise, we may die.”

This is Hijra -- strategic migration and settling of Muslims in non-Muslim lands. That is why they never got to a Muslim country, but try to go to India or Sri Lanka or Thailand or Europe. Other Muslim countries put pressure on non-Muslim countries to accept the Rohingyas as a favor to humanity, but won't accept Rohingyas themselves.

for those who still think that the long ongoing revival of the LTTE in India is a myth or some crazy conspiracy theory, here is the evidence

many of the major drug hauls in the south have a very definite LTTE and dravidian connection and for India it would be very foolish to ignore the rapidly building big picture that is coming into focus

for those interested, please google because at least four Indian papers/news magazines have reported this news

sanjayc wrote:The solution is to create an institution like the Waqf Board. Call it the Karnataka Temples Board. The board should manage and run the 200 top revenue-generating temples in the state. All money collected from the temples should be deposited with the Board. This money should be used to run subsidized schools, hospitals and orphanages for Hindus, and pay for maintenance / priest salaries of smaller temples across the state
Such a system exists in Kerala and is known as Devaswom Boards. There is one for temples in old Travancore (southern Kerala), Cochin (middle Kerala) and recently raised one for the Malabar region (Northern Kerala). Malabar Devaswom Board is the poorest of the lot, the other two are better because they manage the old temples once managed by the kings. In this situation we would hope that these Devaswom Boards would help Hindus and Hinduism flourish in Kerala. But that has not been the case. The Devaswom Boards are staffed by people favouring the ruling government. In Sabari Mala temple, the Travancore Devaswom Boards actually favoured the Supreme Court verdict which was against the belief system practised in that temple. Guruvayur Devaswom Board 'donated' around 10 crores to the state government from the funds it had for COVID relief. This was when the Guruvayur Devaswom Act clearly forbade them from donating money to any other cause other than for supporting Hindu religion & the temple. A case was filed, and the Hon. HC Devaswom Bench is now hearing the case. All these temples have enough and more funds to perhaps buy out a few districts if need be. They do manage schools, colleges etc (which are all secular establishments, BTW) but nothing to spread awareness for the religion per-se. On the positive side; the Devaswom Board temples have a well defined salary structure for priests and temple staff, and the negative side being they too are behaving like unionised labour force.

^^ The difference will be that the temple money will not be allowed to be diverted to non-Hindu causes, as is currently happening (like meeting budget deficit or even giving temple money for renovation of mosques and churches). Also, the Board will be an autonomous body like the Wakq board, and not a Govt. deptt like the Endowments Deptt. staffed by bureaucrats, with even Muslims and Christians sitting on top positions
