From the dawn editorial.
On Saturday, as violent thugs attacked parliament, it was surely the army’s duty to repel them.

But the soldiers stationed there did nothing and the army leadership the next day warned the government instead of the protesters — which largely explains why the protesters were able to continue their pitched battles with the police and attacked the PTV headquarters yesterday.

If that were not enough, yesterday also brought another thunderbolt: this time from within the PTI with party president Javed Hashmi indicating that Mr Khan is essentially doing what he has been asked and encouraged to do by the army leadership.
Hashmi also claimed that a scripted political crisis is being engineered in Pakistan has led to widespread speculation among analysts that a version of the “Bangladesh Model” may be in the works. The “Bangladesh Model”, a soft coup, is based on the idea that the political system must be cleansed of corrupt elements for the welfare of the public, which perhaps has been left incapacitated to elect honest leaders.
The model works on the premise that the military and judiciary must intervene to help differentiate the “right” from the “wrong” before it is too late. The model stipulates that democracy that follows such a “cleansing” is therefore of a truer form since the people have been rightly “guided” and are now able to make informed decisions. He also disclosed that Imran Khan forced party members to resign. “I advised Khan not to take any short-cut for the government”, he said.

Pls note Javed Hashmi's background, he used to be ex-PML, infact was seniormost member of PML-N, and then was ignored for higher posts of PML-N esp Punjab CMship which repeatedly went the sharif family way, so moved over to dimran's party.

Sunni Terrorist Fragments of Unstable Pakistan - 19 Jul 2014

State sponsored terrorism?
Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz’s (PML-N) leadership and our government lost all credibility on Saturday night, when along with opening fire on protesters it attacked journalists, bullied the media and is even reported to be coercing the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) management to hide the real number of casualties. Maryam Nawaz tweeted about how well her father, Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, ‘handled’ the protests despite reports and video footages of men, women and children being attacked. Of course, in the Sharif world of canals and metros, they kept ‘ensuring no one is fired at and women and children given safe exit’.
Pakistan or, dare I say, the Sharif’s never learn. As if the debacle in Model Town (where 70 protesters were shot and 11 killed) was not enough to taint the reputation of our ‘ghunda gardi’ (hooligan) democracy. Saturday night saw a repeat viewing, just on a grander scale, as the police fired at peaceful protesters who were exercising their democratic right to protest
Pakistan’s politics are cyclical process of disarray, anarchy and chaos. The governments’ lies are never-ending. The army is always watching. The masses are on the streets and here to stay. Saturday night’s atrocity will become tomorrow’s history. But let us pray we never have to relive this same script of state-sponsored terrorism again. Can we even dare to hope

By staging this soft coup, the TSPA is once again proving they are clueless when it comes to long term political strategies. Some 25 yrs ago, the ISI/Paki army plugged Nawaz Sharrif as the new PM only to depose him twice ! Now they are trying to place the imbecilic twins - Qadri and Im the pathan . If they succeed, i am most certain Immy will face the same fate as Nawaz sharrif in < 5 yrs time.

Everything said and done, this talk of "Bangladesh Model" and a 'technocratic government' under the tutelage of the army makes me sit up and listen to that idiot zahid hamid a bit more intently. It is clear what he has been "suggesting" is exactly what is being played on the streets of Islamabad. After this so called inquilaab, it is clear that Zaid Hamid is a mouthpiece for some powerful folks inside the ISI.

Igzackly what I said, the musical instruments of the Puki "bands" also have their version of the "pipes" and drums, along with "rock" stars too!

Islamabad test, unlimited overs-until the umpires call of the match!:

So Captain Khan has been outed as being a "match fixer",spot fixing for the uniformed tribe of umpires.Isn't it typical of the Pukis ,whether they play on the green oval abroad or on the village green at home, never with a straight bat and plucking at the seams too. Sadly, but for a few sparks ,the match really hasn't lit up the night sky.It has been all bluff and bluster from Captain Khan and his batting partner. One expected more boundaries and over the ropes hits, but the match appears staged and contrived,a "fix" as the Captain's estranged team member has alleged. When thieves and cheats fall out....! Aeons ago in Univ. days, when Indo-Pak matches were resumed and the Khan was a great hit with the Indian gals,I lost the friendship of a pretty skirt when I contended that Captain Khan was a cheat. years later the great Khan admitted that he lifted the seams of the ball and had cheated. Once an effing cheat, always an effing cheat. It's going to be fun when he too will inevitably be thrown into the biryani!

Guys, kindly edify me. I am not paying too much attention to TSP internal shenanigans. I could give a rat's behind. My interest in TSP is only to the extent of deciphering their machinations against India. That said, what is it that this punk Imran Khan wants? Judging from his past he is a quintessential India hating RAPE and for sure a TSPA mouthpiece (his famous words I recall were that the only thing he likes about India is to "f%^ck Indian women". And for that he is worshiped by Bollywood hoes and deracinated Indian elite). Anyway, what crime has badmaash committed, even by TSP standards, for this kind of a circus?

You are asking, in essence, "I don't check who actually deposited the turd that I see. I just need to know if it will stink bad or not"

The answer is that all turds stink. So it hardly makes a difference which oiseaule is sitting on top of Pakhanastan.

Promises to IMF in doubt as protests sap economy
ISLAMABAD: Anti-government protests that have gripped Islamabad since mid-August could throw off course economic reforms Pakistan promised to deliver in return for an IMF bailout, senior officials said, raising the risk of a sovereign rating downgrade.
The International Monetary Fund (IMF) saved Pakistan from possible default last September by agreeing to lend $6.6 billion over three years, conditional on reforms such as a long-standing pledge to privatise loss-making state companies.

The Score Board finally moves beyond Half a Century

Clashes claimed 54 lives, 45 were shot: Imran

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman, Imran Khan alleged that 54 protesters have so far lost their lives and 45 of them had been shot.

Addressing the participants of Azadi March here in the Red Zone of the capital city on the 19th day of PTI’s protest, Imran Khan said this kind of torture was not even witnessed in the eras of Ziaul Haq and Musharraf.

He said the political parties had ganged up in the Parliament and ruled out transparent democracy in the country sans accountability of those involved in the alleged rigging of the last year’s general elections.

“Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif is directly responsible for the rigging and that is why no investigation was conducted despite relentless demands,” he alleged.

He maintained that eight relatives of Mehmood Khan Acakzai had been appointed on high ranking positions while his brother was made the Governor. “Achakzai is silent over the rigging because it benefited him a big time,” he added.

Imran Khan said Akhtar Mengal is also crying rigging in Balochistan.

He said it is also a fact that all the Parliamentary parties have admitted that rigging did take place in elections of 2013.

The PTI chief asked Chaudhry Nisar what crime had he and the marchers committed for which the police came out with full force against them.

He said considered it beneath him to react to the statement of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI-F) chief Maulana Fazl-ur-Rehman.

Earlier, Imran Khan announced that his party’s MNAs would attend Wednesday’s National Assembly session.

He said Shah Mehmood Qureshi will explain during the joint-session why his party’s MNAs resigned.

That's what I was wondering. badmash may have won this round. Shame on GHQ. Is this the same GHQ from where once upon a time, legendary jernails and kammandus Ayub, Yahya, Zia, Musharraf won wars.. .. against Isloo?

Interestingly, Dimran Con (HT RCaseullah) and TuQ have announced another round of protests saying they will not back down until Shariff bros resign. This means GHQ is still trying hard. If badmash continues to deny victory to GHQ, three possibilities -

1. GHQ may take a step back now and retry after a few months.
2. Manipulate courts to dismiss government because of blasphemy and murder FIR against badmash.
3. Hard coup.

Even Yawn and nation have written blunt anti army editorials. Along the lines of "army is overstepping its bounds by advising what the government should do" (earlier the army had issued a statement that all feuding parties should settle their dispute using talks  )

The gall of these newspapers!! Will the army take this insult lying down? Is this the same army that captured PTV, kicked in Saleem shahzad's ribs and shot Hamid Mir on the stomach? Don't they have a reputation to protect?

Inbreeding
A rough estimate shows that close to half of all Muslims in the world are inbred: In Pakistan, 70 percent of all marriages are between first cousins (so-called "consanguinity")
The high amount of mentally retarded and handicapped royalties throughout European history shows the unhealthy consequences of this practice.
A large part of inbred Muslims are born from parents who are themselves inbred - which increase the risks of negative mental and physical consequenses greatly.
More than half of Pakistani immigrants living in Britain are intermarried
The research, conducted by the BBC and broadcast to a shocked nation on Tuesday, found that at least 55% of the community was married to a first cousin. This is thought to be linked to the probability that a British Pakistani family is at least 13 times more likely than the general population to have children with recessive genetic disorders.
Several studies show that children of consanguineous marriages have lower intelligence than children of non-related parents. Research shows that the IQ is 10-16 points lower in children born from related parents and that abilities related to social behavior develops slower in inbred babies
IQ in inbred children (8-12 years old) is found to be lower (69 in rural and 79 in suburban populations) than that of the outbred ones (79 and 95 respectively).
