Revenge Of The Pashtuns - Continues

Two police constables injured in hand grenade attack near Faqirni gate of D.I.Khan
June 3, 2018
AFP
ISLAMABAD: Two police constables have been injured in a hand grenade attack at security forces check post at circular road near Faqirni gate of Dera Ismail Khan.According to Police sources, injured are shifted to District headquarter hospital Dera Ismail Khan.
There are "various candidates" who would like to take "credit" for this action . The PTM Movement of Manzoor Pashteen is one ( although he has "vowed" that his is a peaceful movement ). Maulana Diesel's "outfit " JUI (F) is "upset" over FATA 's merger with KP. So he also has an axe to grind . Or it could be any Aam Abdul , exercising his right under the Pashtunwali Code Of Badal

Chinis Cashing In On Paki "Eid Shopping Craze"

Eid for the Chinese, say manufacturers :D
June 03, 2018
KARACHI: Manufacturers have expressed concern over the massive influx of Chinese products in local markets even before the completion of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).“It is really Eid for Chinese producers every year while the local industry suffers,” stakeholders said. They cite low prices of Chinese goods which hold a lot of attraction for many Pakistani consumers. However, the consumers are also aware of the lack of quality and durability of Chinese goods, they add.
CPEC might be a "gamechanger" for the Pakis ! But not in the way , they expect
Many manufacturers that Dawn spoke with question the future viability of local industries as the share of Chinese goods will increase once CPEC reaches its apogee.Chairman Council of All Pakistan Textile Mills Association (CAPTA), Zubair Motiwalla said the share of China in suiting, which was 10 per cent some five years ago, now stands at 25-30pc.
The CPEC Agreement which was "rubber stamped" through by the Paki National Assembly and the members were never shown the detailed ( and probably "secret" clause as well ) agreement and the mechanism for disputes
“I think China’s share in suiting will swell to 50-60pc after completion of CPEC,” he said. He feared for the future survival of his industry under such circumstances as the Chinese have “a different style of working” and massive economies of scale for running industries. The Chinification of this and other industries under the "game changer" CPEC !
A vast price difference exists between Chinese and Pakistani suiting. Giving an example, Mr Zubair said full suiting is available at Rs700 while shirt piece costs Rs300 while Pakistani products of the same type are available for at least Rs1,000-1,200. He said shalwar kameez clothes are also arriving from China, holding 5-10pc market share as the local industry is trying hard to compete.
Shalwar Kameez - Made In China - an "atheist " country, IMHO, has to me labeled an "Haram" item for sure
Chairman Traders Association of Marriot Road Mohammad Ahmed Shamsi said toys from China enjoy over 90pc market share which had already resulted in closing down of much of the local industry. Toys worth Rs500-600 million arrive in Karachi alone every year from China.
Chinese toys are well known for using toxic metal like lead or other safety hazards plus the fact that they may not inculcate "Islamic teachings " and thus not sharia- compliant . The Mullahs need to "study" this angle and accordingly do the needful - not in the "Holy" Month of Ramazan though ( strictly reserved for eating, drinking, praying and sleeping  )
He said Chinese confectionery items including chocolates and toffees are available locally but the government should keep a vigil on these imports as non-halal products  could be finding their way into Pakistani markets.
Playing to the Islamic sentiments and/or the Halal factor of the Paki Abdul may help the "choclate and toffee industry to a certain extent !
In children’s readymade garments, the Chinese dominance is threatened by clothes arriving from Vietnam, Indonesia, Malaysia and Thailand. “I think China now has 25-30pc market share in readymade children’s garments,” he said.
President Bohra Bazaar and Mochi Gali Association, Mansoor Jack gave a different view saying Chinese children garments still rule the markets with 75pc market share due to low prices, followed by 60pc share in children shoes, 75pc share in flower and decorative items, 90pc crockery and 75pc share in ladies purses. “The market share of Chinese goods will further increase after completion of various projects under CPEC,” he feared. Member Bahaduarbad Traders Association Imran Saeed Baghpati said the share of Chinese toys is now 98pc and the local industry stands nowhere.
Paki Abduls and Ayeshas need to be made aware of the dangerous toxicity of the Chinese made toys which may pollute the minds and bodies of baby Abduls and Ayeshas
He recalled that previously Chinese imports were restricted to mechanical toys while the local industry was providing toys made of plastic moulding and key driven toys. “Now every type of toy is being imported from China,” he said.
Few years ago, traders used to pack Chinese toys in Pakistan after imports but now packaging is also being done in China, he added.President Nursery Furniture Market Association Hanif Khan said the share of Chinese furniture (bedroom sets, centre table and dining table) hovers between 15-20pc where the local industry is still going strong. He said Chinese raw material and parts for use in local chair and bedroom sets manufacturing are also arriving. “Import of finished Chinese furniture along with parts and accessories import is estimated at three to four million dollars per annum.”
IMO The "fun" will start when the Chinis will muscle their way in at the retail level, if such a clause exists in the "secret" CPEC Agreement. This will definitely create some sort of "blowback" from the "powerful traders groups" of Karachi !
The balance of trade is grossly in favor of China as arrival of goods from Pakistan’s largest trading partner rose to $9.322 billion in July-April 2017-18 while exports from Pakistan remained dismal at $1.444bn.According to Pakistan Bureau of Statistics (PBS) figures, exports from Pakistan stood only $1.365bn in 2016-17 as against imports of $7.850bn in 2016-17 from China.
Wow! What a difference  . But the "good side" of all of this is that it will further hasten the Chinification of Paki society under the "gamechanger" CPEC ( Colonizing Pakistan To Enrich China )

KARACHI: Manufacturers have expressed concern over the massive influx of Chinese products in local markets even before the completion of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).
But...but...but...according to sherry 'well-squeezed' rehman, SeePack has created 60,000 jobs ahead of schedule. Pakhanistan is already reaping multiple, bountiful benefits from it.
We can also see the pulsation of the pointless regional neuralgia this partnership is giving some. My advice to them is that, they really shouldn’t worry, but instead join this enterprise.
As the tracks for new global connectivity reframe human enterprise, with Gwadar as its launching pad
Pakistan’s relationship with China has gone into another dimension altogether :rotfl:
PPP understood the grand Chinese dream well
CPEC has already created 60,000 jobs and Pakistanis would likely be able to make the most of these opportunities.

Then why the rhona-dhona? Hainji?

This pakjabi fatwa is not just against "kirket". Any sport invested by the "angrejan" falls under this fatwa. This list includes "hakkee, futbaal, polo, rugbee te haarse racing". The only sports left for pakjabis to enjoy will be kushtee and kabaddi.

Game changer for the pakis, as they love to use this oft-abused phrase. This raid is not the ghus-bhaitiye type incursions by the pakjabis across the LoC. This is a full frontal assault akin to battles fought in the '80s. I suspect TTP or even ISIS. After operation badm-e-hazm, these true believers regrouped in Bactrian safe havens along the borders and are now attacking pakjabi/TSPA outposts and fencing parties.

Six "terrorists" killed as Pakistani forces repulse cross border attacks in KP, Balochistan
Pakistani forces killed six terrorists and injured many others near Pak-Afghan border as they launched an assault on Pakistan checkosts from across the border.
four personnel of the Frontier Corps (FC) and one official of the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) were injured (probably hallaled)
"Terrorists from across the border carried fire raids and physical attacks on Pakistan’s border posts and border fencing parties in Bajaur in KP and Qamar Din Qarez in Balochistan"
terrorists resorting to such attacks to prevent fencing and construction of border posts (Remember when TSPA did the same to prevent BSF from building the fence?)
To consolidate the gains of successful kinetic operations against terrorism fencing of Pak-Afghan border...(Isnt this the term coined by jahi "mahdi" ham-eid (o'pbuh))
No wonder the pakis asked for cessation of firing at the LoC and the international border with India.

Now It Is Time To "Demonize Immy's Ex : Reham Khan NOW Being Accused Of Stealing Imran Khan's Mobile Phone !!!

‘Reham stole Imran’s Blackberry, used it for several purposes’
LAHORE – Former producer Mubeen Rasheed has claimed that Reham Khan had stolen the Blackberry phone of ex-husband and PTI chairman Imran Khan and used it for several purposes. According to details, a news surfaced that Reham had stolen Imran’s phone during her divorce.
He said that Reham stole this blackberry for a purpose. “According to my information, Reham also used to operate ex-husband’s phone after stealing it. She used to send tweets using his phone and told Imran that she only retweets but she made quite a use of the phone in reality. She had made it her target,” Rasheed added.Blackberry had enough private information and then copied those data in different places in London, he said.
This is one more example of The Kaptaan , asking his minions to defame his Ex and do the "dirty work" for him

PS: Reham Khan is in the process of finalizing / publishing a "tell all tale" Book about herself and Immy plus some other "juicy stuff" about Imran in general . In this venture, she is getting "help" from Ganja Sharif and The Good Haqqani ( Hussain ) . And she wants to launch the Book BEFORE the Paki General Election in order to maximize the damage to Imran and the PTI, and minimize the chances of Immy taking over PM ship of Pakiland ! All Paki News Reports about Reham Khan ( including this one !) should be read in this context.

The Brave Paki Ayesha ( Gulalai ) And Her Unusual Alliance With The Transgender Community Of Pindi ! :D

Ayesha Gulalai names four trangender candidates for 2018 elections

Image
The "Ayesha" With Her Supporters
ISLAMABAD – Former lawmaker of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Ayesha Gulalai has announced that four transgender persons will be contesting in the upcoming general elections from her newly formed party. Gulalai, who had formed her own political party by the name Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf-Gulalai (PTI-G) earlier this year, announced the decision in a news conference at Islamabad Press Club on Sunday.Four transgender persons – Nayab Ali, Nadeem Kashish, Lubna Lal and Madam Rani — will contest the elections on her party’s ticket.
IMO, she has "scored" a brilliant political stroke against her previous party leader ( Imran Khan ) and his much touted PTI Party
1. She has formed her own bloc of Pakistan Tehreek- e- Insaf ( PTI - G )
2. She is "standing against" the Kaptaan in his own backyard ( Rawalpindi ) !. Even if she loses, she is going to give him a good run for the money
3. By using the "PTI " name, in her party she is sowing some sort of a confusion in the minds of the illiterate awaam of Pakistan. This may work to her advantage , unless the Election Commission of Pakistan forbids her to use the "trade mark " name . !
4. She has aligned herself with the disgraced Hijra community ( AKA Transgenders !) of Pakistan , which may work to her advantage
Nadeem Kashish will contest the elections from NA-52 against former federal minister Tariq Fazal Chaudhry in Islamabad; Nayab Ali will contest from NA-142 constituency; Lubna Lal from PP-26 in Jhelum and Madam Rani from PK-40 for Haripur provincial assembly, Gulalai said. Lamenting the treatment towards the transgender community in Pakistan, Gulalai said the society had a lot to learn from how the West treats the minorities and transgender persons. Citing an example, she pointed out Canada’s envoy to Norway is a transgender. PTI-Gulalai will have badminton racket as its election symbol.
Imran has the "cricket bat ", so the badminton bat is "pretty close" to the Kaptaan's symbol !!!
Gulalai herself will contest the elections from six constituencies and will be going up against Imran Khan in Rawalpindi and against Ali Tareen in Lodhran.
Gutsy Pashtun Ayesha ! Am sure that she will win from one of the constituency , if not from Pindi
PTI had ousted Gulalai from the party after she levelled serious allegations of sexual harassment on party chairman Imran Khan. The general elections are scheduled to be held on July 25, 2018.
PTI party is a one man party . Besides Gulalai, there are others who also have come forward and accused the Kaptaan of "sexual harassment " Paki as well as non - Paki women . The Islamic makeover of the Oxford "educated" Imran Khan is just plain window dressing , nothing else. Just wait till Reham Khan's 'tell all tale" book, ( hopefully ) comes out before July 25, 2018 !!!

Imran Khan Getting Shakes And Jitters Over Reham 's Eagerly Awaited New Book

Reham Khan under fire over her controversial autobiography depicting her warrior
3 Jun, 2018
ISLAMABAD - A row has erupted between Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chairman Imran Khan’s former wife Reham Khan and his supporters, who are trying to stop the release of her autobiography ahead of the country’s general elections.
Media reports say Reham Khan’s book is likely to release some time this month, with the elections scheduled for July. A promotional video of the book stated that it would contain Reham’s life experiences as “a mother, wife, journalist and a warrior”.
Reham has alleged that the PTI has persistently threatened her, tweeting a copy of an email sent to her by actor and PTI supporter Hamza Ali Abbasi. The email tells Reham that her email has been “hacked” and warns her “to be very careful in future”. Imran Khan's dirty work done by his many minions !
A social media war over the issue erupted on Friday after Abbasi tweeted a “summary” of the book. Reham then asked how it was possible for him to read the manuscript of her book. “Only possible through fraud or theft,” she said. Like Nawaz and Shahbaaz Imran too is a fraudster !
In response, PTI claimed that Reham’s book was a ploy to demolish the country’s “only real opposition”. It also released what it termed “solid proof” of Reham’s alleged nexus with the PML-N leadership. The “evidence” was purported emails between Reham and former interior minister Ahsan Iqbal, in which he invited Reham to his residence for dinner with former prime minister Nawaz Sharif’s daughter Maryam Nawaz.
PTI spokesperson Fawad Chaudhry said that emails between Reham and Iqbal only proved the former’s “heinous plan to malign the party chairman’s character and reputation”. Senior leader Syed Zulfiqar Bokhari announced that he would initiate litigation against Reham.
Imran Khan's dirty work is mostly done by his many minions !
However, Iqbal rebutted PTI’s claims, saying that it was “shameful” that the party had resorted to “fabricating and distorting emails to defend itself”.He tweeted: “Neither I ever met Reham Khan except for an interview in Aaj Studio (a private TV channel) before her marriage with IK (Imran Khan) nor arranged her meeting with anyone. Pl don’t drag me in matters between ex spouses (sic).”
Iqbal is a big "chamcha" of Nawaz !
Meanwhile, people on social media believe PTI’s “panic attack” has confirmed that Reham’s book has “some explosive stuff”. They also warned that “hacking someone’s conversation is a grave crime with international implications”.
As the controversy deepened and #RehamKhan became top trend on Twitter, some social media users pointed out that the PTI had effectively provided Reham much-needed publicity for her book before its launch.
Peerni "predicted" Kaptaan's PM ship . This led to their marriage! . Peerni DID NOT ( or was not able to !) predict this explosive Book by Reham . This WILL lead to their divorce Talaaq .

Article claims there's electricity shortfall of 7000 MW.

And here is an article from 2011:

https://www.dawn.com/news/653296
LAHORE: The electricity shortfall hit alarming proportions on Saturday, shooting beyond the 7,000MW mark — around 40 per cent of the demand — as a fuel crisis threatened to partially disable virtually all power plants.
So NOTHING changed in 7 years.

my humble suggestion is that as good kafirs we make the roza keeping kashmiris and tspians work really hard for their faith. Make the pakis lift, refill and lob 155mm shells and mortars at the border and kashmiri rent a mob should be be kept at their toes between 5am to 7 pm. By the time ramzan ends they will have lost 50% of bodyweight and will take time out to build back up.

Even if they stop observing roza, it will be fun to keep them unsettled and unsure of what to expect.

Something Does Not "Smell" Right In This Chini Embassy Death Report

Chinese engineer found dead inside embassy in Islamabad
ISLAMABAD – A Chinese engineer was mysteriously found dead in the Islamabad embassy on Monday. Yang Pen was working as an engineer at the Chinese embassy in the federal capital city; his body was recovered 12 days after his death from his room, according to police.
The cause of the death has yet to be ascertained. Police shifted the body of 35-year-old to PIMS Hospital and have launched investigations.
According to a police complaint filed by Chinese Counsellor Shez Zicheng, Peng worked at the mission as a construction engineer. He was given a room at the embassy where he was currently residing as he was not involved in any construction work currently.
On June 3, a stench began emanating from the room. The engineer’s body was found in the room when it was opened, the complaint said.
So, it was the "foul smell" that did him in ! Now, there will be tremendous pressure from the Chini side to wrap up the case ASAP, so the body could be shipped back to China for burial !!

Female Fraudster On The Loose Near FATA Area Of Pakiland !

Isa Khel woman deprives 16 ‘husbands’ of valuables in wedlock racket
MIANWALI – A 28-year-old lady has deprived as many as 16 of her husbands of their valuables after tying the knot with them in a clandestine manner.
According to a report by Daily Khabrain, Shehnaz, who is based in Miana Wala area of Isakhel has started a business-type scam in which she, along with her father, Gul Zaman trap the locals in wedlock and then disappears after taking their cash, jewellery and other valuable goods.
Mianwali incidentally is the Khan's ( Imran) Home Base . Am 400% sure that he was NOT one of the 16 "husbands" so deprived
The mysterious ‘relationship scam’ was also confirmed by Mehboob Khan of Tunderkhel who revealed that the lady in question utilizes a simple procedure to gather ‘clients’ before leaving them.
If she - the scammer "lady" - is a standing member of the PTI party, she deserves a MNA ticket for sure !
“Through a third-party, Gul Zaman looks for people of age older than her daughter and communicates a message that they can mary Shehnaz,” disclosed Mehboob. He added that when the husband-to-be visits the home of the lady, they finalize the relationship without any hassle and delay and also mention a handsome amount and jewellery on the contract, to be paid by the husband.
So, apart from being a scammer, she appears to be a "good negotiator" as well. These qualities are much in demand in Pakiland . So, another plus for her in case she decides to pursue politics as a career
“Initially, the relationship goes well, however, the lady creates conflicting issues deliberately to get back to her paternal home along with the valuables and cash,” said Mehboob who is also one of the victims.
The local also named the other victims: Ghulam Mohyud Din, Ameer Muhammad alias Kalli Ustad, Zabar Nawaz, Noor Muhammad, Liaquat Ali and others who are based in areas close to Isa Khel. The victim also claimed that the lady and her real father had also roped in a lawyer who fights legal battles in courts to shield the polyandry.
It is possible that the "lawyer" may be part of the scam - maybe, his fees are coming from the loot collected from the unsuspecting Adbuls !
Mehboob Khan further claimed that when he got married to Shehnaz, she was expecting; he also showed the ultrasound reports to newsmen to support his claims and contended that such practices are in flagrant contradiction with Islamic injunctions. ( What are "these Islamic injunctions " that he is talking about . As far as anyone knows, "ultrasound" was not around at that time. !. Why bring Malsi in the mix . It is fraud, pure and simple ! )
He pleaded the Chief Justice of Pakistan, Mian Saqib Nisar, DIG Police Punjab, and DPO Minawali to take stern action against the accused and launch a comprehensive inquiry so that the victims can be compensated. So, the name and fame of Mian Saqib ( Muo Soto fame ) has even reached the dirty hovels of Issakhel !!

Paki "Businessmen" Now Set To Make A Bee-Line For The Uzbek Embassy In Isloo

Uzbek embassy in Pakistan simplifies visa process for businessmen
ISLAMABAD – Uzbekistan embassy on Saturday simplified visa process for Pakistani businessmen, said diplomats.According to new policy, the embassy will give visa to entrepreneurs within a day after submission of an online request.
Now that the doors to US, Canada, UK, Italy, Spain,France, Greece , Turkey, Saudi Arabia , Kuwait , Dubai, Malaysia, China, Australia and other countries are being shut down , Pakis are lining up to third and fourth tier countries like Uzbekistan to get out , on one pretext or the other ! The "simplified visa process" has to be interpreted in that context .
Talking to a group of Pakistani businessmen, they said reforms implemented in Uzbekistan had opened new opportunities for the development of trade and economic cooperation between the two countries. Diplomatese words , nothing else, IMO !
The new government in Uzbekistan had reduced power tariff and offered many other incentives to investors that could benefit Pakistan’s businessmen as well, they said, adding Pakistan could make efforts to start production of Uzbek agriculture machinery in Punjab and both countries could also work on establishing transport corridors. Uzbekistan was making equipment, which was equivalent to the European machinery, but it was cheaper, said diplomats Jasur Saidahmedov and Shukhrat Sh Zaripov.
Keep your fingers crossed- for the sake of this accursed nation - and hope the" lucky winners of the visa lottery" will not practice their "Pakistaniyat" once they reach the "shores" of this landlocked Ummah Nation  .

Oh please! Pretty please, please try and do so.We can't wait for teaching the ungodly beardies yet another lesson.
But seriously, looking at the manner in which jihadi attacks are increasing in intensity in the Valley and on the LOC, some dire mischief is being planned by the Sino- Pak JV just before the elections, where a swift " bandicoot" ( Musharat) style operation, almost certain to be on two fronts, and a fake claim of a " victory," by both rabid entities, will they hope unseat the PM and the BJP and usher in a more defeatist coalition of chaos, which will willingly accept Chin hegemony over Asia and force us to compromise with Pak.
Watch this space.

A Well Informed Article On The Coming Paki Election. It Will Be Not THAT Easy To Fix It !

Turnout
IT is a conceit of those who come later to imagine that they and the stuff happening around them are more important. That the battles they fight are fiercer, the resistance more noble, the enemy uglier, the tactics used more innovative or baser, the squalor worse. The madness unprecedented.
Of course, the particular history of this country can help temper that conceit. Four great saviours, several robed crusaders, violent ideologues, a humiliating severing less than a quarter century in. And the circumstances of birth itself, the euphoria and cataclysm reduced to a single, awesome word: Partition. So there’s no need to get carried away just now. But there is need to be concerned.
This particular journo, Non Muslim, has to choose his words carefully, lest he step across the "red lines" . Already, there are calls for his head, among the momeens !
The wild uncertainty, confusion and, yes, fear that has gripped the political process isn’t just a figment of everyone’s imagination. You don’t need Nawaz to tell you there is a crisis or Imran to deny there’s a crisis or Zardari to be sniffing around for an advantage in the crisis to know there’s a crisis.
Zardari seems to be "quiet" these days, letting the Junior to hog the headline. Not sure, if he is "keeping Roza" :D
The crisis is real and it’s multifaceted, and the closer we get to the election, the worse it may get. Because for all the manipulation and attempted control of the process, there’s a powerful unknown factor in all of this: the electorate itself.
It’s a story that’s already been told in several forms. The N-League hasn’t splintered, the PTI can’t stop getting in its own way, political intelligence from the field suggests a divided electorate and hung parliament.
The Deep State is deliberating between the Kaptaan and the Clever Brother . See, who can "deliver" Pakjab for them
Pakistan in 2018 isn’t Pakistan in 2008 and definitely not Pakistan in 1998.
Some of that is good and, in fact, certainty-promoting. Polling-day rigging is harder to pull off than ever, whether by ballot stuffing, suppressing turnout or manipulating the results announced.Because it’s possible to say it now, the most consistently rigged elections in the country have probably been in Karachi. Not because the MQM wouldn’t win a majority of seats anyway, but the old party wanted total control.
Altaf Bhai- from London - has however full -throatedly called for a boycott ( in his video address !). Remains to be seen what happens !
Sixty per cent wasn’t good enough when 90 or 100 per cent could be had through brute force. And what a reign it was: organised ballot stuffing; suppressing turnout for whatever little opposition there was with violence and intimidation; dictating to election officials the final results to be announced. That formidable machine was built on fear, the certainty of retribution and the public knowledge that the MQM would win a majority anyway. So why should anyone have risked much to try and get that MQM to stick to realistic winning margins or a more believable seat count.
Altaf "believes" in the "youthia " . Not sure if the "youngsters" adore him as much as the previous generation !
That fear has never really existed at the national level and it is even less so now, even in the midst of the wildest of speculation and conspiracies. And then there’s the real change: information.
Cameras in millions of pockets, social media hungry for scandal, a partisan electronic media — good luck trying to suppress systematic ballot stuffing, turnout suppression or dodgy counting.
The age of social media ( instagram, Facebook, Twitter) and the age of electronic communication will make it hard for the Deep State to fully implement its pre planned agenda on the awaam
The game is really about the pre- and post-poll process: assembling the right weave of candidates nationally and a working majority — solo if you’re lucky, a coalition if you must — in parliament after the election.
And there is the Deep State injection of non mainstream religious parties in the mix as well , the likes of Hafiz Suar and Khadim Rizvi , to keep everyone in suspense :D
That this isn’t your parents’ electorate is obvious enough. Different worlds to the electorate of the ’70s and substantially different to the one in the ’90s. Age and changes in the country have guaranteed that.
An 18-year-old in 2008 was unlikely to have voted, the voting age having been reduced from 21 only an election before and the young generally being politically disengaged. In 2018, that man or woman is 28 — the range in which voting becomes a serious option. New voters being pumped into the system and previously younger voters turning older don’t have to radically change electoral equations — and manipulations. But in this time, this decade, the years between 2008 and 2018 something unusual has happened. Democratic continuity, two full-term civilian-era parliaments, three consecutive on-time elections and a second consecutive peaceful transition of power imminent — that everyone knows.
It makes a kind of sense that 2018 could see a historic or thereabouts turnout.Nawaz has been running around the country for a year, essentially in campaign mode. Imran has continued the PTI’s perma-campaign. It is difficult to recall stretches in which the PTI has been wholly inactive since essentially Oct 2011.Now, Shahbaz has added himself to the mix.
Turnout may have unleashed a powerful unknown factor: the electorate itself.
IMO, if ( and it is an BIG IF ) Reham Khan gossipy book hits the newstand well before the election date, it is going to be a death knell for the Kaptaan- And Immy knows that !

According To This Ex Pat Paki Journo , Imran Khan's PTI Party Is Full Of Discredited Politicians That Belie His Claim Of "Change"

Pass Me Some Muesli, Please…
Ejaz Haider, Newsweek
Elections are set for July 25 and, despite some belated attempts by the Opposition to find pretexts to delay them, polls are likely to be held as scheduled. The caretaker Prime Minister, former Chief Justice of Pakistan Nasirul Mulk, certainly seems to take that date seriously.
Expectedly, partisan rhetoric in the run-up to the polls is working itself up to fever-pitch with social media platforms providing the ideal battleground to mountebanks on all sides. Expressions range from outright abuse and calumny to self-serving relativism for own side while judging the other on the moral compass of absolutism.
In the middle of all this brouhaha, I sat down to watch Backstabbing for Beginners, a film based on the Oil-for-Food scandal, the biggest so far to have hit the United Nations, leading to several reforms in that world organization. Ben Kingsley as Pasha, the U.N. undersecretary in charge of the Oil-for-Food program, what Variety calls the “film’s most thoroughgoing moral relativist” tells Michael (Theo James) “Not to lie, never to lie. But to choose our facts, our truths, with the utmost care.”
So, here we are, 53 days to the big electoral contest, primarily between a battered Pakistan Muslim League (Nawaz) and an aggressive Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf. Punjab in this contest is Halford Mackinder’s Heartland. To rule the World-Island (Federal Government), the contestants must rule the Heartland, PMLN’s center of gravity. This is why while the PTI ruled Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa the last five years, its agitational muscle was flexed primarily in Punjab.
But, pray, what’s the contest about? Votes? Forming the government? The art of the possible? The known, trite stuff politics is made of? Woe betide if you were to put it like that. For the PTI voter, it’s a contest between how this country has traditionally been run by extractive parties and elites (that’s everyone who is not PTI) and tabdeeli (change). PTI represents something drastically different from what has happened thus far, a change so thorough, qualitatively, that it is not just the electoral duty of the voter but her moral obligation to vote for PTI. That is the propaganda that is dished out to the awaam!
The essence of that argument rests on a belief more than any viable program of action, the 100-day agenda announced at a gathering on May 20, notwithstanding.
If reports are to be believed that the 100 day agenda was prepared by an "outside agency" based on some hand written ideas of the Kaptaan
But here we also sail into choppy waters. Is the PTI challenging traditional politics by giving us a visible alternative in the form of a cadre of representatives and leaders who look, sound, act and behave so differently from what the others have to offer that a discerning voter would be attracted to it? Even a cursory look at the party would belie that. There’s detritus here from all the parties we are asked to reject for their traditional ways of political wheeling-dealing.This is not a new phenomenon, but in the past some months the queue has grown longer and PTI seems to have lowered the bar to entry to the point where even a five-year-old could avoid getting tripped.
There’s nothing different then? Of course, there is, we are told. There are two arguments here: So, you would have voted for these people if they had stayed in the PPP or the PMLN but you won’t now that they are in PTI? At that point they spot the lifafa. The other argument, a relatively better attempt at being cogent, maintains that while the PTI does indeed stand for ‘change’, there are some pragmatic requirements of winning in the current environment, which makes getting electable turncoats from other parties acceptable.
The writer should also have discussed the "Peerni" factor and the soon - to - be - published , gossipy book about the Kaptaan by Reham Khan !
Winning is important before PTI can unleash its agenda for change. The difference is that these people will have no say in decision-making, which will be done by the leadership. Put another way, these people were bad when they were in the PPP and the PMLN, because, and this is the clincher, the leadership of those parties is bad. PTI doesn’t have that problem. The party’s chairman has a vision. He just needs the troops to get to where he can, constitutionally, to activate and deploy his agenda.
Many are "whispering" that the PTI Party is a one -man show and Oxford "Educated" Imran, is a "empty vessel"
Put another way, PTI needs to win to bring change; but it can’t win unless it deploys the very people that represent what needs to be changed and what PTI is fighting against.Idealism wedded to pragmatism. It’s not just about realizing the ideal but idealizing the real. To get to what ought to be, you must move in and through what is. That’s how immunization works: you introduce dead or weak antigens in the body so the body can produce the antibodies necessary to fight the disease. What’s the big deal? Not much, I guess, except some naiveté sprinkled with self-serving pepper. Consider.
The argument concedes that as things stand, the PTI needs the same strategies as its rivals to win. Corollary: in the 22 years the party has been in existence and in the last five years governing KPK, it has been unable to change the voting dynamics in any meaningful way. Question: exactly how does it plan to change that dynamic when in power? Because if it could, and I will be the first to concede, that will indeed be a helluva change. Do we have a model of it in KPK? I am not sure.
Things have got from bad to worse in KP province where Immy party rules !
Two, the ‘electables’ who spend a lot of money getting into the assemblies and work on the basis of pragmatic deals and IOUs, bring their local, constituency agendas with them. Heck, that is exactly how and why they become electable. To think that while they can be used as troopers in this battle but will be kept away from the spoils by PTI leader(s) requires a bigger suspension of disbelief than the Greek theater could manage with deus ex machina, the machine god that would descend on stage to resolve an irresolvable plot situation.
Instead of "fresh faces" Imran is depending on discredited politicos from discredited parties ( PML and PPP) , just so , that he can count on them to "deliver votes- and money - on his behalf"
So, here’s my advice: PTI has every right to contest the polls, fight hard to win and form the government. But that’s about it. Own the pragmatism.
n fact, I have said this before and I will say it again, quoting T.S. Eliot: “And that, to be restored, our sickness must grow worse.” Perhaps, it’s best for PTI to win so we are cured of the ahistoricism of its supporters. Go out and win it, folk, but spare us the line about this contest being some kind of Armageddon between the forces of evil and good, between ‘corruption’ and honesty, between moral relativism and moral absolutism.
And now pass me some muesli, please!
The Kaptaan is big on rhetoric and generalities and less on action and specifics

"Starbucks" Name Being Abused. . Pakistaniyat Exposed In Isloo

Starbucks leading coffee chain claims not to have franchise in Pakistan
23 May 2018:
Islamabad, Wednesday 23 May 2018: Competition Commission of Pakistan (CCP) has issued a show-cause notice to Options International Limited for the fraudulent sale of Starbucks coffee in Pakistan.
Starbucks, is an international chain of coffee houses registered in the state of Washington, it sent a formal complaint to the CCP, arguing that Options Coffee and More, a Lahore-based restaurant, was using its official trademark “Starbucks Coffee” and harming its business interest.
Would not be at all surprised that the "fake outfit" is owned and managed by some "powerful interests" ( brother, son, mother , father, cousin , daughter or in-laws of some generals, top bureaucrats, or corrupt politicos )
Starbucks pinpointed that it had not opened any franchise in Pakistan. The CCP’s inquiry found that Options had displayed Starbucks’ trademark prominently on the main signage board of its cafes, packaging material, mugs, menu, flyers, website and social media page. 02
Hope that the authorities / court impose some sort of a monetary punishment and implement same to discourage such Pakistaniyat in the future .

12-day-old body of Chinese engineer found in embassy shifted to Pims: police

The 12-day-old body of a Chinese engineer who had been found dead at the Chinese embassy in Islamabad on Sunday was shifted to the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (Pims) on Monday, according to Pims and police officials.

A police report filed by Chinese Counsellor Shez Zicheng said that 35-year-old Yan Peng worked at the mission as a construction engineer. He was given a room at the embassy where he was residing as he was not involved in any construction work currently.

On June 3, a stench began emanating from the room. The engineer's body was found in the room when it was opened, the report said. After discovery, his body was transported to Pims.

Senior Superintendent Police (SSP) Islamabad Najeeb-ur-Rehman Bugvi said the 12-day-old body of the Chinese engineer had been transported to the hospital by an embassy official, who had said it was found inside the embassy.

He added that there were no visible marks of torture on the body.

Pims Spokesperson Dr Waseem Khawaja said that Pims administration had informed the Islamabad deputy commissioner and the Chinese embassy about the body being brought to the hospital, and would conduct a postmortem examination on the body after it received permission from the Chinese embassy.

Police have launched an investigation to ascertain the whereabouts of the body and the cause of death, Dr Khawaja added.

Herr Kobler, The "Good Friend Of Pakistan" Speaks Out Against Scammers And Fake Consultants Of Pakiland !

German Ambassador Highlights Visa Booking Issues Caused by Consultants and Fake Appointments
Posted 10 hours ago by Aitzaz Hassan
Germany is one of the top destinations for international students as it offers quality education for free (for the most part). So far so good !
However, the process of getting a visa appointment from the German embassy in Islamabad is quite cumbersome.
Sindh and Balochistan residents are a bit lucky here as they book their appointments from the German Consulate General Karachi. The Karachi office usually has a lot of appointments open as relatively few people apply from Sindh and Balochistan to Germany. The residents of Punjab, however, go through a lot of sleepless nights to get an appointment at the German Embassy. The portal opens at around 3.00am for a few seconds only. The applicants themselves are at fault here too. Many students applying for the appointment don’t even have an offer letter from any German university yet. During all this, the deserving students who already have offers from universities fail to get an appointment.
Pakis have been "impressed" by this "interest showing" Ambassador who has earned himself a "good name" in Paki Media , shown sometimes in shalwar- kameez riding the La-Whore Metro , without security escort or that other times "feeding himself" on spicy Chicken Biryani at an Isloo dhabba . Therefore , it is possible that these actions of his , might have been misinterpreted by the Paki awaam as a sign of "Germany relaxing the visa rules for Pakis " under his ambassadorship. Hence the warning  !
In desperation, many go for the consultants who charge hefty fees for appointments. Many such “consultants” are a scam as they take up an extravagant amount of cash but guarantee no bookings. The so-called consultants also book fake appointments and take up the free slots so they can attract more desperate students. The German Ambassador to Pakistan highlighted this pathetic and irresponsible behavior by consultants, saying;
Martin Kobler
‏ @KoblerinPAK

Urgent!! really angry about these so called visa consultants! http://superior.visa .[email protected] blocked 70!! appointments with fake name Arif Khan and fake passport numbers! this is irresponsible behaviour! avoid any consultants and book directly!! please retweet!
Apparently, there is nothing that German or Pakistani authorities can do about such scammers.
There are a few things that German authorities can do to make visa processing more lenient for deserving people. Firstly, the appointments for work visa and study visa are booked through the same portal. The embassy can separate the appointment booking portal for the work visa and student visa.
Some "unwanted" advice from the Paki Public !
Students apply in huge numbers as compared to the work visa applicants. In the process, people having job offers fail to get an appointment as students take up all the appointments.Secondly, the Embassy can introduce an advance visa fee so the scammers stay away from the application portal. Currently, the appointments are free-of-charge. An advance fee will make sure that only applicants with complete documents including the acceptance letter will apply. In case the application gets rejected, the embassy can refund the fee as well.
Lastly and most importantly, people need to have a sense of responsibility as well. It doesn’t take the most pious person in the world to realize what you are entitled to. Meaning that, apply only if you have all the relevant documents complete. Wait for the university to give an answer to your application. Apply after getting the acceptance from the university. Advance bookings won’t do anyone any good if you get rejected.

Pakistan Water Crisis
‏ @PakWaterCrisis

If we don't act now, according to World Resources Institute, Pakistan would be facing very high water stress by 2040.

We are already among most water stressed countries of the world.

Let's save/conserve the water we have and build more reservoirs.

Waiting for someone to retweet to Jahil - Ham- Eid ( before Eid ! ) for "necessary action"

PS: According to the "water stressed" map, Pakiland is in "good company" with with her Arbi brothers

"Vigilante Justice " Rears Its Ugly Head In The "Posh Area Of Karachi

22-year-old robber shot dead by citizen in Karachi’s Clifton area
June 4, 2018
KARACHI: A suspected robber was killed by a citizen in an upscale neighbourhood of the metropolis on Sunday. According to police, the incident took place near Schon Circle in Clifton where armed motorcyclists were trying to rob a citizen of his camera, while men travelling in an SUV tried to intercept them. The suspects, however, opened fire and manage to escape. One of the men travelling in the double-cabin Vigo fired back and killed one of the robbers, while his accomplice managed to escape.
Clifton area of Karachi, close to Defense Housing Authority, is THE most posh area of Krachi. Home to Dawood Ebrahim , Dus Percenti and other unsavory characters as well .
According to the Boat Basin police, the suspects were trying to snatch a camera from a citizen, Shahid. The police say the robber was critically wounded and died on way to the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre.
In "normal" countries, a case would be registered against the shooter for taking the "law in his own hands" ( AKA vigilante justice !) . After due process , he would be released if found that he acted in self defense . Not sure, what action would be taken in this case, if it is found that the shooter is the son, father, etc etc of a top general, a corrupt politico , or a power wielding bureaucrat !
He was later identified as 22-year-old Khan Hussain, a resident of Keamari. He had a criminal record and had been arrested in connection with street crimes in 2011 by the Boat Basin police station.
Underling of Dawood Bhai or Dus Percenti

"Good" Terrorist Now Turned "Bad" Strike In Baluchistan !

Three FC soldiers martyred, DIE two others injured in Mustang suicide attack
June 4, 2018
QUETTA: Three paramilitary soldiers were martyred and two others wounded in a suicide attack near a security checkpoint in Mastung city of the restive Balochistan province on Monday evening.According to the scanty details The Express Tribune could gather, the suicide bombing took place near Aziz Frontier Corps checkpoint. The casualties were shifted to the Ghous Bakhsh hospital.
The whole of Balochistan has become a problem for the Paki Deep State. From Lasbella in the west ( near Karachi ) to Gwadar and Jiwani ( near the Iran border) the Balochi Freedom Fighters AND THE BAD TERRORISTS are keeping the Paki Security Forces "busy"
Balochistan has been wrecked by ethnic, sectarian, militant and separatist violence fed by a potpourri of groups.
No kidding !
Last month, security forces foiled a brazen terrorist attack, killing five suicide bombers who tried to storm an FC compound in Quetta.
Hopefully, the "miscreants" will become more "active" once the "Holy" Month is over
The terrorists mounted the attack on FC Madadgar Centre, presumably in retaliation for the killing of Salman Badeni, the chief of the Balochistan chapter of Lashkar-e-Jhangvi sectarian terrorist group, a day earlier, near the garrison area. Eight security personnel were injured in the attack. The outlawed Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) terrorist group had claimed responsibility for the brazen attack.
So, the Balochi Freedom Fighters are NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR THIS ONE ! It is one of the "snakes reared in your backyard , coming to bit you back" as rightly predicted by Hilary Clinton :P

Reham Washes Imran's Dirty Shalwar In Front Of The Paki Public

Imran neither truthful nor trustworthy: Reham
June 4, 2018
Image
Immy And The "BBC Weather Girl" In Happier Times
Broadcast journalist Reham, the erstwhile wife of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) supremo Imran Khan, has reiterated once again how the cricket legend is not sadiq and amin in line with constitutional provisions.
Reham asked Supreme Court Chief Justice Saqib Nisar take suo motu notice of the matter while speaking to a local television channel. The former BBC weathergirl claimed Imran had kept his marriage to Bushra Maneka under wraps for two months and equivocated when pressed for an answer. This, Reham said, constituted a violation of Article 62 and 63 of the Constitution.
Like other "Pathani girls ( Malala and Gulalai, ) Reham can be quite "aggressive" when she wants to. Definitely not like the Peerni ! )
The journalist-turned-author also categorically rejected claims of the Sharifs, Maryam or Shehbaz, of having bankrolled her book. Reham also said she was at a loss to understand how a book could influence the outcome of the forthcoming general elections.
To be fair to Imran, she is wrong on that score, specially if all the "juicy stuff" is going to "ooze out " of the expected "succulent book" .
Reham is expected to launch her debut work before the nation goes to the polls, Express News reported earlier. The book is premised on her personal experiences as a “mother, wife, journalist and warrior”. British understatement, I would say !
Separately, actor Hamza Ali Abbasi claimed on Friday to have had the “very unfortunate experience of reading a manuscript of Reham Khan’s book”. In response, Reham wondered how it was possible for him to obtain the manuscript before its release. “Only possible through fraud or theft,” she added. :D

Face Of "Paki Justice On Display " ." Dad's Influence" Overturns "Rule Of Law "

Man, who stabbed Khadija Saddiqi 23 times, walks free after acquittal in attempted murder case
LAHORE – The Lahore High Court on Monday acquitted the attacker of Khadijja Siddiqi case, Shah Hussain, who tried to kill his class mate two years ago.The decision comes after the LHC had earlier reserved their decision on the case which was due to be announced today. In May 2016, the 21-year-old law student was stabbed 23 times in broad daylight on a busy road while she waited to pick up her 6-year-old sister from school. The attacker, Shah Husain, the son of a well-known lawyer in the city, was Siddiqi’s classmate at a private, local law school.
Proves once again that in the so-called Islamic Republic Of Pakistan, there is one law for the rich ( and powerful !) and another for the poor ( and helpless) !!!
After a harrowing wait that stretched out for over a year, Husain was delivered a five-year sentence on July 29, for attempted murder.
The LHC, last Friday, had decided to hear the appeal filed by convict Shah Hussain asking for the suspension of his imprisonment in order to be released on bail and serve the remaining sentence out of jail. Before this, the session court where the case had first been taken had already reduced the sentence to five years when the maximum sentence is 10 years.
"Dad", the well known La-Whori lawyer, must have "used his tremendous influence" with the legal fraternity to get his son out of jail ASAP . He succeeded today
Commenting on the issue on Twitter, Khadija’s lawyer said “It was Khadija’s battle till yesterday. Khadija you did your job well. Today you didn’t lose – it was society that lost. So it is battle of the society now. The hashtag In Support of Khadija is #WeAreWithKhadija plz use this. We will fight back – we will fight the Mafia.”
IMO, CJP Saquib, the overactive SeeJayPee should immediately step into the fray and see that justice is done in this case . If not, the awaam will (rightly ) conclude that he is an hyprocrite
Lawyer and activist Jibran Nasir also commented on the proceeding saying “Attacker of #KhadijaSiddiqi who stabbed her 24 times has been acquitted by Lahore High Court. Is this what our justice system has come down to. First under CJP Nisar’s general order security was withdrawn from @khadeeeej751 and now her attacker has been set free. Shame”
So, if this activist ( Jibran ) is correct, Saquib himself is complicit in this case. Shameless CJP !!!
Shah’s appeal was heard by Justice Sardar Naeem Ahmad, in which, the respondents informed the court that a separate appeal has been filed at LHC by them against the reduction of sentence from seven to five years following a review appeal filed by the convict in the Sessions court.According to Khadija Siddiqi, the court announced the verdict today and acquitted Shah Hussain.
“Inna lilahi wa ina ilahi rajioon! Justice butchered. Shah hussain acquitted!,” Ms Siddiqi tweeted.
Not sure if this Paki Ayesha is likely to see justice in this so-called Islamic Republic Of Pakistan, unless a miracle happens

Immy's Ex- Reham Khan - Makes Good On Earlier Threat . Sends Legal Notice To Hamza Abbasi :D

Reham Khan sends legal notice to Hamza Ali Abbasi
AHORE – In a recent spat which involved Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan’s acquaintance and London based businessman, Zulfi Bukhari, alleging to take legal action against Reham Khan after manuscripts of her soon-to-be-published book were leaked, a legal notice has just been sent to PTI member and supporter, Hamza Ali Abbasi.
According to details, the book revolves around Reham’s marriage with Imran Khan and her time with the PTI chief amongst various aspects of her life, vowing to throw the opposition party in a bad light. The book caused an outrage amongst PTI supporters and leaders, who have been vehemently critical of the news presenter.Earlier on Saturday, Reham accused actor and PTI member Hamza Ali Abbasi of threatening her of consequences via e-mail if she does not put an end to her “anti-Imran and PTI” stance.
The legal notice has been prepared by Paki Lawyer Yasir Latif Hamdani on behalf of Reham !
Hamza Ali Abbasi, also, on a private TV show revealed that he did not possess any documentary proof or evidence when he made allegations that Reham Khan took ‘100,000 British Pounds’ from Punjab Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif to write her upcoming book.
Abbasi should get hold of the book "Law For The Dummies" and read it , so he does not land in any legal "hot waters" in the future. And the Kaptaan should also do "due diligence" before "ordering" his minions ( like Hamza Abbasi) to accuse someone in public without documentary proof !!!
Upon being questioned on these allegations by the show’s anchor, Abbasi claimed that he had no proof or evidence that this transaction had occurred. He said, “If you’re asking for documentary proof or of receipt of this transaction, then I do not have it.”In the legal notice sent to Abbasi, the self-proclaimed actor and activist claimed that Reham admitted to being in touch with “claiming to Ahsan Iqbal”. He quipped his line of argument with a hysterical “lol”

German Ambassador Washes Car With Bucket, Saves Water For Pakistan

German Ambassador to pakistan Martin Kobler seems more concerned about water insecurity in Pakistan than many of our authorities as he recently posted a picture on Twitter while washing his car using a bucket.
In a bid to save water for Pakistan and spread awareness regarding the issue, Kobler said, “Using a bucket to save water while washing my car. Pakistan ranks third amongst countries facing water shortage. One major reason is excessive use. 100 liters wasted washing a car with running tap water.

Battle Of The Book Continues : Kaptaan's Minions Legally Strike Back Against Reham

Waseem Akram, Ijaz Rehman, Zulfliqar Bukhari and Anila Khawaja send defamation notice to Rehman Khan over ‘controversial’ book
HORE – A  former wife of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan has engaged in a legal fight with party supporters and a few famous figures ahead of her controversial book launch.
Reham Khan’s former husband, a former cricketer along with two other political figures sent her a defamation notice on Monday, citing “defamatory and malicious” content in her upcoming autobiography. There is no legal harm - to this sarkari paper- in naming the "former husband" ( Imran Khan !)
The manuscript of her purported autobiography titled ‘Reham Khan’ contains a “litany of malicious, false, incorrect, highly misleading, callous, wanton, tortious, prejudicial, damaging, libelous and defamatory” imputations against its clients, according to a “pre-action defamation protocol” letter, addressed to Reham Khan by a law firm representing Ijaz Rehman, Wasim Akram, Imran Khan’s close aide Zulfi Bukhari, and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s Anila Khawaja.

One thing for sure, whoever wins( Immy or Reham ) , lawyers for both sides will be laughing all the way to their respective banks  ( unless due to the "Holy Month", someone is doing it as pro-bono , sort of as an Islamic Zakat - in lieu of the 2.5% cash give out  )
The letter adds that “our clients will be seeking full redress through the courts for the serious damage and harm” the book is anticipated to inflict on them.
The former BBC presenter has been at the centre of controversy after split from Imran Khan in 2015, however, the controversy heated up when TV actor and PTI loyalist Hamza Ali Abbasi censured her on Saturday after claiming that he had read the manuscript of Reham’s book in which Imran Khan was portrayed in a bad light just before the polls.
Imran Khan is well known for ordering his minions to do the dirty work for him . Therefore, it is obligatory for him to bear the cost of this "legal hassle", unless he wants to "innocently distance " himself from all this hassle, for obvious political reasons
Reham responded with a Rs500 million notice after sharing ‘threatening’ emails alleging that they belong to Abbasi, though the actor denied ownership of the email address. In an interview on Monday, the former journalist said that her book revolves around the character related to her life. She also alleged that her email address was hacked and added that Hamza Ali Abbasi would go to jail for his childish escapade.Earlier today, Reham claimed that her former husband Imran Khan did not fulfil requirements of Article 62 and 63, as he hid their marriage for two months.
The catchall so called "sadiq and ameen" clause smartly introduced by late Zia to ensure that Pakiland politicos will faithfully remain on "the straight and narrow of Malsi" ( on paper onlee ! )
