Yes... Old adage from Maratha times.. Attock se Katak aur Kashmir se tanjavur are the recurring phrases seen in many Maratha era letters because that was the extent of their rule at zenith.. Suvarnarekha river was the boundary to the east after half of coastal Bengal which is now called Odisha was retained by Marthas after Alivardy-Maratha treaty of 1751. Katak was the capital of Maratha ruled Bengal province. Plenty of Marathas seen in Katak even today..

Why should NaMo do that unless its per rules. The dilli billis have lots of tricks and demands like these should be considered as exception rather than norm to fulfilment of jobs/posts by politicians outside dilli billi gang.

Hopefully NaMo would fill it up with people apt for the posts. Indians should get more and more leaders for these.

Great day for Bharat. Now on with the main show. A good task for BJP, apart from BSY/Marandi/INLD tie-ups, could be to expand the number of seats they're contesting. 340 is too few. Add a 100/150 seats, find candidates (BJP - not alliances) to contest, exploit the wave.

Can I ask why you recommend an alliance with Chauthala? He is not exactly what one would call a very savoury character. His record, particularly what he and his people did in Mehem, still comes to mind. Not being confrontational - just want to know what benefit accrues from going with Om Prakash Chauthala.

I doubt this. MMS said he is happy to work under RGjr.

That means he is suggesting RGjr to replace SG-gaddi instead of PM-gaddi. MMS is much smarter than SG and RGjr put together. He will try to keep PM-gaddi as long as possible.

Small Clarification,odisha is/was a separate state , so the marathas ruled odisha . Suvarna Rekha is the boundary between bengal and odisha . Cuttack was the capital of Odisha for a long time , it was only after independence that the capital was shifted to Bhubaneswar.

I am little disappointed at LKA stand. May be I am mere mortal not able to fully understand and digest his view point. LKA has done so much for the country and NaMo is /was fuly supported by him in past.
