I dont think DD has anything to do as everything will be confirmed only at 7.58 so they ahve to keep some visuals on !! It is not like a regular count down !!

Dilbu we are in Mars occultation so there will be no information as Telemetry is now off. Around 7.57 Occult ends (Earth time - IST) so Doppler starts then and we will get Confirmation at 7.58 Earth IST (7.47:46 Mars Time -IST)

While DD does have its flaws give it a break - what can they do as a filler

Frankly I don't have a problem with DD coverage. I'm recording it for my little nephews and they are sure to have a hell of a time. All the animations and history will be quite interesting to them. Good to inspire the next generation.

Telemetry resumes in a couple of minutes. Doppler should provide the first indicators on burn success.
