In Hisar HJC chief was thrashed by INLD's worker. Sources reporting Kuldeep slapped an INLD worker after which he was giving a sound beating ad his vehicle smashed. INLD is strong here again.

Overall in Haryana most of the people I talk to have a view of BJP 4 Cong -3 INLD -3.
Hukkawalas are blaming Sushma and Haryana BJP Chief Ram Bilas for sabotage in ticket distribution otherwise Cong would only had 1 seat.
The only good thing in the end is INLD will support NaMo.

It still does not contain, Bihar, MP, MH, Ke ...I dont see any difference. In Bihar Sasaram and Aurangabad are close (BJP second in all, first in some, third no where, Cong is first in many but also third in many segments (assembly and caste groups). Gaya, Nawada etc many are in the pocket. Old timers of BJP somewhere (like MLAs etc, stabbing). JDU not doing that bad.

I think as the elections are happening, Arnab is openly giving BJP the chance. He still wants to milk the elections and get some ratings up...but couple of times I thought he was going to announce BJP as the winner. maybe just pushing buttons.

Interestingly the BJP wallahs and wallahis on Times Now are cautious, and are not showing high enthusiasm. But the experts and observers giving this phase to BJP. Something cooking? Devang Nanavati was subdued. Vani Tripathi got called out for being glum. Kiran was not excited too.

I hope BJP is not seeing anything we are not seeing. May 16th is the day.

Actually I think that is the reason BJP wallahs and wallahis are not as expressive as the host himself on Times Now.

This and the Marriage both seem to be well managed operations. Enough to pre-empt the opposition, but not throw the game.

If u have worked hard for your exams and you are a good student expected to do good, then when the first few papers are maxed , you donot elate but remain cautiously calm until all papers are completed and exam results are out. Who knows, the examiners may botch up a good answer paper or there may be a hard paper that may be thrown at u. So BJP is doing the right posturing....

Haryana Update from INLD :
INLD is winning Hissar , Sirsa & Gurgaon. Bhiwani & Rohtak are close race , can swing either way . For other seats , information still being processed booth by booth.
Police complaint against Kuldip has been lodged in Hissar . He went to a polling booth & slapped INLD polling agent there who in return blows to Kuldip .This led to fight between Kuldip's men ( from his convoy ) & INLD's supporters around polling booth , apparently guns were used . Kuldip wanted to slow down the voting . As per source : a typical losing candidate's strategy to slow down the voting .

Quite true.

Very important for BJP/NDA candidate & workers in those seats where voting has happened to do the below
- keep quite & just give simple smiles
- talk in normal voices
- send out boring tweets (surely thank the people of constituency for coming out in heat & for peaceful voting)
- definitely not boast whether during meetings, in one-to-one instances or in front of media outlets etc.
- keep a very strong, continuous eye on those strong rooms where the EVMs are locked up

If they start showing too much happiness, loud voice talking and etc to local/English News media outlets - then those common men, youngsters who are reading/watching/observing (and some possibly mulling over more conviction to vote for NM) would feel that the NDA people are becoming arrogant and their voting for NM could dip.

Lastly, If they can - then travel to those yet-to-happen LS election seats where BJP/NDA is facing heat and put in their effort to campaign to create new supporters & then mass up the supporters into voting booths on election day.
