Pakistani team to visit Nepal to locate missing army officer
SLAMABAD - A Pakistani team will soon be visiting Nepal for examining the firsthand facts as mystery continues to shroud the whereabouts of former Pakistan army officer Col (Retd) Habib Zahir in Nepal. The ex-army officer was allegedly kidnapped by the Indian intelligence agencies from an area bordering between Nepal and India after he was invited to the country in connection with a job opportunity.According to sources, a team comprising government officials from the Ministry of Interior will proceed for Nepal to examine the firsthand facts, take the statement of Javed Ansari, the host and airline officials/hotel management to assess as to who arranged the bookings etc.The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has asked the interior ministry to nominate a team in this regard, official sources told The Nation on Thursday. “The composition of special team — so as to forward the same to the concerned authorities of Nepal — is under consideration,” they added. So, by taking this step, the Pakis are serving notice on the Nepal Govt, that they do not have confidence in Nepal Police. And "their ISI agents" should be allowed to do detective work on Nepali soil to find the "missing Zahir"
Last seen in Lumbini in the first week of April, Muhammad Habib Zahir had disappeared from Lumbini near Nepal’s border with India. The Government of Pakistan had approached the Nepalese government...
The team, according to the official sources, will seek any other information from fellow passengers or any other person concerned and also take statement of the police officer In-charge of the city/town from where the said Pakistani went missing to ascertain if he has found any clue or reason of his alleged kidnapping. The team will also ascertain the frequency of movements across the border with India. It is likely that a team from NACTA would be constituted to visit Nepal. Can a self respecting country like Nepal allow such intrusion by a foreign police force  ( ie ISI)
Zahir had arrived in Nepal to reportedly face an interview for a United Nations job. According to the reports, Zahir arrived in Nepal via an Air Arabia flight (Call Sign WY 344), with the passport no. AJ5122964, for a UN job interview in Nepal. According to the reports, Zahir had retired as Colonel in 2014 and Mark Thomson had called him to Lumbini based on his personal details posted by him on a website. There had been a correspondence between the two. Thomson had called him to Nepal to face interview and had himself sent an air ticket for him. India is believed to have entrapped and kidnapped from Kathmandu Zahir to make it a case of having apprehended an “ISI spy” and equate it with the case of RAW agent and saboteur Kulbhushan Yadav. The facts, however, are quite contrary in both cases. Doubt that the Paki Govt would care a damn , if an Aam Abdul goes missing in Nepal or anywhere else. This is a "special case"

Only 2pc candidates passed CSS examination last year
That's 2%
According to results declared by the Federal Public Service Commission (FPSC) on Wednesday, only 2.06pc students could secure minimum passing marks.
FPSC was determined not to compromise on quality at all
“The mushroom growth of higher learning institutions, particularly in the private sector, is one of the major reasons behind the declining results,”
9,643 candidates appeared in written examination of the year 2016, out of them only 202 managed to pass the examination
The results of the Central Superior Services exams have been facing decline for several years, as 3.33pc students cleared the exam in 2014, 3.11pc in 2015 and 2.09pc in 2016.
Blasphemy:
According to the results, top three positions were clinched by female candidates
there is a gap between assessment of students and the subjects they are being taught in universities
Why is there a gap? Isn't learning the koran all you need to know to run a country?

Pakistan army, ISI pushing Sindh towards civil war: Altaf Hussain
By PTI | May 11, 2017

WASHINGTON: Pakistan's army and spy agency ISI are pushing Sindh province towards a civil war, the head of the country's fourth largest party has alleged and sought the intervention of the UN and the international community. In a audio message, the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain alleged that Pakistan Army and ISI have "virtually taken control" of all Pakistan including Khyber- Pakhtunkhwa, Sindh and all Balochistan. In spite of trying all kinds of "dirty tricks" against him ( even enlisting Imran to use his "influence" with Scotland Yard) Altaf Bhai is still a kabab-mae- hadi in the mouth of the Paki Establishment
"They have killed hundreds and thousands of innocent Mohajir Balochs and Pashtoons who raised their voice against Punjabi army," London-based Hussain said in the message. Altaf and MQM are very well organized inside and outside Pakistan !
"Now the the world community is realising that Pakistani intelligence agency, ISI has been harbouring the most wanted terrorists including Osama bin Laden, Mullah Omer and Mullah Akhter Mansoor in Pakistan," he said.
He asked "the UN Secretary General and the international community to intervene and use their offices to stop the bloodshed of Mohajirs, Balochs and Pashtoons" in Pakistan.Hussain said Pakistan Army and ISI are pushing Karachi, Hyderabad and urban centers ..
The MQM emerged as a largely ethnic party in the 1980s. It has political dominance in the southern Sindh provinces urban areas - notably in Karachi, Hyderabad, Mirpurkhas and Sukkur where a large number of urdu-speaking people who migrated from India during partition reside.

Altaf and his party are denied coverage in Paki media and are labelled as RAA or Indian Agents by the Paki Establishment , for speaking on behalf of Non-Pakjabi and non-feudal interests !

Another India- Pakistan Stand Off

Indian diplomat caught taking pictures inside Islamabad courtroom; cellphone confiscated
SLAMABAD – An Indian diplomat was found taking pictures of an Islamabad High Court judge inside the courtroom with his cell phone on Friday, catching the eye of court staff who took him in brief detention.First Secretary of Indian High Commission Piyush Singh had gone to Islamabad High court in context of Indian national Uzma’s writ petition. When the officials brought the incident to the notice of the IHC judge, he ordered confiscation of Singh’s phone
The judge, terming it a serious violation of the court decorum, ordered the Indian diplomat to submit a written apology before the court after Singh verbally apologised for the said incident. The diplomat told the court that he was texting on his phone and not using his camera. However, later he issued a written apology which was accepted by the court, with a warned not to repeat the act. Paki tempers are running high these days, even though it is not yet Ramzan ! ; the matter of the "famous" echendee...
“I apologise for using mobile in court by mistake. It is requested that I may kindly be pardoned for this,” said Singh, in his apology statement. The cellphone was later returned to him and no charges were pressed. The "sanctity" and H&D of the Islamabad High Court ( Sharia  ) now fully restored

No this time they will conclude that harmi was kidnapped by India and ask for access to the detenee. And then they will do equal equal at ICJ. Told this before . It is very slippery slope.

From Such Gup - Friday Times

Spokesman’s threats- Before "Drycleaning" By Paki Fauj

Just as the bereaved parents of the Army Public School martyrs are incandescent with rage at the public parading and apparent “forgiving” of the Taliban’s spokesman, some journos who were at the receiving end of threats from this man personally, are also seeking redress. The spokesman was in the habit of calling up those whose commentaries he disliked and threatening fire and brimstone, not just to the person in question, but to their families as well.

Court allows Geo News to air Ehsanullah Ehsan’s interview
Court allows Geo News to air Ehsanullah Ehsan’s interview

ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad High Court on Friday accepted the IMC's application and allowed the Geo News TV to broadcast Ehsanhullah Ehsan’s interview. ( Paki court flexing its muscles  ) IHC’ Justice Aamir Farooq issued the nine-page verdict, declaring the Pemra order as null and void in which the media watchdog had stopped airing the former TTP spokesman’s exclusive interview. Obeying the orders, Geo News did not air the exclusive interview and approached the court.
In an application, Pemra was offered to edit the interview but the media regulator declined. The court was informed that the interview had been recorded in cooperation with the ISPR. IOW, the interviewee was "coached" on his replies (e.g. how he was in "RAA's pocket" ) . The Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (Pemra) had issued the order against airing of Ehsan’s interview last month after promo of the interview was aired on Geo News.In a press release, Pemra had said that the law did not allow airing of such interviews.

Money Laundering - Nawaz Sharif Style

JIT summons Hudaibya Paper Mills scam record
The Express Tribune > Pakistan
ISLAMABAD:
A joint investigation team (JIT) tasked with probing the financial interests of the Sharif family in line with the April 20 Supreme Court verdict in the Panamagate case has summoned complete record of the 17-year-old Hudaibya Paper Mills scam from the National Accountability Bureau.Sources in NAB told The Express Tribune that the six-member JIT has asked the bureau to provide complete record of the Hudaibya Paper Mills case. Legal experts believe examining the record could prove to be damaging for the ruling family.
Seventeen years ago, NAB had claimed that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and his family received over Rs1 billion “through illegal and fraudulent means” and that they were liable to be tried under anti-corruption laws, reveal documents submitted by the accountability watchdog before the Supreme Court on Monday.
It is interesting to note that NAB had filed two references in the Hudaibya Paper Mills case. Incumbent Finance Minister Ishaq Dar ( The London trained CA and Chief Money Launderer for Ganja !) was nominated as an accused in the initial reference. But NAB in its final reference excluded his name after he recorded a confessional statement.
“There was an unexplained investment of Rs642.743 million appearing in books of the mill as share deposit money. The same belonged to the directors/shareholders and beneficial owners of the company, which they had fraudulently amassed under the garb of foreign equity investment,” said the final reference.
The scam came to the limelight last month when the five-judge bench -– headed by Justice Asif Saeed Khosa -– took up the PTI’s plea seeking disqualification of Finance Minister Dar on charges of allegedly facilitating the Sharif family in laundering Rs1.2 billion.

Kulbhushan Jadhav case: Pakistan feels it's 'at a disadvantage', a senior government official tells Express Tribune

NEW DELHI: Pakistan is likely to tell the International Court of Justice+ (ICJ) that it has no jurisdiction over the case of Indian national Kulbhushan Jadhav+ whom its military court has put on death row, say Pakistani media reports.

Islamabad also feels it's "clearly at a disadvantage" in the case because the ICJ has scheduled hearings in the case as early as starting May 15.

Pakistan is "clearly at a disadvantage because of the paucity of time, logistical support and finding legal expertise", a senior government official told The Express Tribune. Actually it is a Severe Attack of Lack of Brains!

An expert on international law told Dawn newspaper that Pakistan could raise the issue of jurisdiction by citing a case to do with India shooting down a Pakistani navy plane in 1999.

Pakistan took the case to the ICJ. India said the ICJ has no jurisdiction to hear cases related to disputes between Commonwealth countries. India cited an exemption it filed in 1974 to exclude such disputes. A year later, a 16-judge ICJ bench agreed it has no jurisdiction.

However, an eminent Pakistani jurist Ali Nawaz Chohan told Dawn that the ICJ could assume its jurisdiction on the Jadhav case - despite India and Pakistan being Commonwealth countries - if the matter raised is a human right issue. Chohan served as an ICJ judge from 2005-2009.

In fact, India did site a human rights issue to the ICJ. India said Pakistan had violated the Vienna Convention on Consular Relations 1963 by not giving Jadhav access to the Indian consul.

Separately, sources told DunyaNews that Pakistan will tell the international court it has no jurisdiction over cases involving Pakistan's national stability.

Pakistan says Jadhav is an Indian spy. A military court there in April sentenced the former Indian Navy officer to death for "involvement in espionage and sabotage activities" against Pakistan.

Earlier this week, India moved the ICJ saying Jadhav was kidnapped from Iran where he was involved in business after retiring from the Navy. The ICJ then stayed Jadhav's execution .

The international court has scheduled public hearings in the Jadhav case starting May 15.

Pakistan stoking terror, hurting India ties, says Trump administration
WASHINGTON: The Trump administration on Thursday issued a severe indictment of Pakistan in its first public assessment of the region, blaming Islamabad for deteriorating ties with India and warning that Pakistan's "pursuit of tactical nuclear weapons potentially lowers the threshold for their use."

History’s lessons

As we exchange Artillery salvos with Afghanistan across the border, Iran threatens to send troops into our territory to take out the terrorists who have been killing its border guards.

Clearly not the best way to make friends in our neighbourhood. As it is, our forces are eyeball-to-eyeball with Indian soldiers on the Line of Control in Kashmir, and China has often privately complained about the activities of our tableeghis in and around Xinjiang. Chinese citizens too have been killed by our jihadis while working on engineering projects.

In brief, we have managed to antagonise all four of our neighbours. Luckily, Chinese self-interest has prevented our major benefactor from taking these pinpricks too seriously.

We have managed to antagonise all our neighbours.

But this does not alter the fact that, in a difficult region, our diplomacy has been singularly crass.

But before readers jump up and accuse our Foreign Office, let me point out that our relations with all four of our neighbours are conducted largely by the security establishment.

Over the years, the latter has usurped many of the Foreign Office’s functions but, in particular, it controls our relationship with our immediate neighbours, as well as the United States.

Relations with the latter have been rocky ever since sanctions were imposed over our bouts of martial law, as well as our nuclear programme. If you talk to our generals, you will get a litany of complaints against our principal supplier of weapons, beginning with the cut-off of arms during the 1965 war with India.

What is forgotten is that the formal pacts we entered into with the US entitled us to receive arms specifically to combat communist aggression. These modern weapons were not supposed to be used in other conflicts, especially not one of our own choosing, as the 1965 war was.

Since then, the US has used its military aid as a tool to wield influence in Islamabad. That it failed to rein in our support for the Afghan Taliban and other jihadist groups speaks volumes for the power of the military in formulating defence policy.

And it is only a short step from defence planning to shaping a foreign policy to sustain it. But to achieve all this, a high degree of public support is needed to shut out interference from elected civilian leaders. This requires a degree of control over the media, as well as a message that discredits the political leadership. Here it is often pointed out that the public has been largely brainwashed by what is seen as propaganda produced by the security establishment.

But while we docilely accept actions that isolate us regionally and globally, others do not. For years, we have been accused of using the rugged geographic nature of our borders as an excuse for cross-border militancy. Each time there is a bloody incident involving attacks on neighbouring targets from our soil, the mantra from our Foreign Office is that our borders are too porous for us to control.

However, why should surrounding countries put up with this? While Afghanistan may be too militarily weak to block incursions, should we be surprised if this vulnerability pushes it into the Indian orbit?

And as Americans suffer casualties from militant groups that have operated from Pakistani soil for years, should we be bewildered by the hostility coming our way from Washington? Had we followed a more astute long-range policy, we could have made much more of initial American dependence on Pakistan for its campaign in Afghanistan after 9/11 than we did.

Tensions with Iran are another result of confusion and lack of clarity of our long-term strategic goals. The reality is that we share a long border with our western neighbour, apart from ties rooted in history and culture. By casting our lot with Saudi Arabia, a distant and socially backward country, we risk alienating a friend of long standing.

Our relations with India are not going to improve any time soon, given the baggage both sides carry, but surely an effort to defuse the ongoing tensions would be worth the effort. And here, I must say, Nawaz Sharif has tried his best but has been thwarted at every turn.

One of the first things military history teaches us is that fighting on two fronts is suicide. And here we are, doing our best to open three fronts simultaneously. Another thing grand strategy teaches us is that defence is closely related to the economy: if we are unable to raise the necessary finances, we cannot maintain a credible military machine.

Sadly, these basic lessons seem to have escaped our security establishment. If they are going to run our foreign policy, some reading of Bismarck and Metternich is surely necessary.

Suzi dies (LaWhore Zoo's only elephant)
Imported in 1988, Suzi was a popular attraction at the zoo and had captivated generations of audiences since its inception at the zoo
the Director of the Lahore Zoo Mohammad Shafqat said, "We won't be bringing a solo elephant, instead we'll bring a pair the next time."
Now you know why sooji died (I know, its not funny but...we are talking about a shariah compliant malsic haathi). Some of your old timers may remember this 2015 incident: Last giraffe at LaWhore zoo dies of heart attack
All three giraffes which had been imported in 2007 have died.
LaWhore Zoo seems to be an unfortunate place for giraffes.

China to invest $50 billion to develop Indus River Cascade: Report - PTI
Pakistan and China are expected to sign an MoU for developing the North Indus River Cascade with investment of $50 billion to generate up to 40,000 MW hydro electricity.

The memorandum of understanding is likely to be signed in Beijing today during the visit of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif to China
, according to The Express Tribune newspaper.

"The $50 billion investment comes on top of the $46 billion investment being provided by the Chinese government and Chinese banks for financing power and road infrastructure projects in Pakistan under the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC)," the paper reported.

With the signing of the MoU - which will be witnessed by Prime Minister Sharif - Beijing will emerge as the biggest financier of infrastructure projects in Pakistan.

According to the studies conducted by the Water and Power Development Authority (Wapda), Pakistan has an identified potential of producing up to 60,000MW of hydroelectric power.

Some 40,000MW of this potential power is located in the region called the Indus River Cascade, which begins from Skardu in Gilgit-Baltistan and runs through Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa as far as Tarbela, the site of Pakistan's biggest dam.

The Indus River Cascade includes Diamer-Bhasha Dam project for which Pakistan needs $15 billion financing.

Other multilateral donors were not willing to invest on this project but now China has come up to finance this mega project.

Sources said the Chinese side conducted survey and studies on the North Indus Cascade including the sites of Pattan, Thacoat, Bunji, Dasau and Diamer in February 2017.

The Chinese side in their last high-level meeting agreed to convert the survey and initial study to an MoU whereby the Chinese will conduct a detailed study spanning over a period of three months on a developing roadmap for financing that will lead to initiation and completion of these mega projects.

Sources said this will be Pakistan's first-ever private sector investment in mega projects in hydel resources as until now only Wapda led such projects.

The most important development could be the Chinese undertaking of these projects as it has a vast experience for building such huge dams.

According to the sources, the CPEC and the North Indus River Cascade can be the biggest-ever Chinese investment in Pakistan.

In 2015, the owner of the world's largest hydroelectric dam, China Three Gorges (CTG) Corporation, had expressed willingness to participate in a financing consortium to fund up to $50 billion of hydroelectric power projects in Pakistan.

The Chinese government-owned CTG expressed an interest in financing projects in Pakistan in conjunction with the International Finance Corporation, a World Bank subsidiary.

The CTG owns and operates the Three Gorges Dam, the world's largest hydroelectric power plant with a capacity of 22,500MW, nearly matching in one power plant the entire installed capacity of the Pakistani grid of 23,500MW.

The mega undertaking may create further tension between Pakistan and India as the investment would be made in Gilgit- Baltistan region which is part of Pakistan-occupied Kashmir.
The Modi-led Indian delegation to the OBOR would have endured this additional slap had it gone there. The Chinese are hell bent on showing us 'our place', whether it is Pakistan, NSG, UN, ASEAN or anything else.

Uber to invest $500 million in Pakistan in next three years

IMO, It is Lahore logic ( by Uber!); why would a foreign investor willing to risk half a billion dollars in this unstable, (upto the neck in debt) country is beyond me ; it can only be "news" when foreign funds actually "arrive" in the country . Otherwise , it is all bluster.
IMO, the figure of $ 500 million is straight out of Sialkoti statistics (by Pakistan). No mention of an actual agreement etc etc . The word "pledged" misinterpreted as usual

Paper Reveals Possible Paki Strategy At ICJ

India hides Jadhav's 'true identity' in application to ICJ
n its application to International Court of Justice (ICJ) about Kukbhushan Jadhav, India hide the true identity of the spy, reported Nawa-e-Waqt.
According to sources, nowhere in the application India has mentioned that Jadhav is Indian Navy officer and sentenced to death under charges of terrorism and spreading anarchy in Pakistan.
Meanwhile, Foreign Office of Pakistan’s sources stated that reply of Pakistan to be submitted in ICJ is almost complete. ( can be interpreted in many ways !). Attorney General Ashtar Ausaf Ali, Foreign Secretary Tehmeena Janjua and Additional Secretary Tasneem Aslam held important meetings regarding the issue in last few days. ( Must be "cursing the Indians" having spoiled their "social calender" )
The FO sources have further stated, at time of Jadhav’s arrest, Pakistan sent a declaration to ICJ that this issue does not come under jurisdiction of the court. ( strategy # 1)
On the other hand, political parties of India are criticising Modi government over its move to go to ICJ as case in the international court only can move forward if all involving states show their consent. (strategy # 2 - play on internal differences in India !)
After evaluating the whole of case of Jadhav, Pakistani authorities have reached to consensus that ICJ will be told that Jadhav is not a common Indian citizen rather an individual involved in running a terrorist network in Pakistan hence not eligible for diplomatic access. ( strategy # 3)
Furthermore, international court will be told about ongoing war against terrorism inside Pakistan and names of local militants convicted by military courts to show that Jadhav was not treated under any bias rather he is going to be hanged after a proper legal procedure. (psychological warfare  ) (strategy # 4 )
PS: Strategy # 5 : When all else fails resort to a barrage of lies , about Pakistan being victim of terrorism, loss to Pakistan economy because of "terrorism" is 1000 Billion Dollars, how India is not agreeing to bi-lateral talks, blah blah , blah

Allegedly tortured female maid passes
away

A domestic female maid has passed away who was allegedly tortured in Lahore's Model Town vicinity earlier this week.20-year old Munazza, who belonged to Vehari, was employed by a house in Model Town's H block, the police said. She was admitted to Jinnah Hospital for treatment following which she passed away.According to the police, the woman's body does not have any torture marks. The deceased's family alleged that Munazza was physically tortured by her employers."The post-mortem report will determine if the cause of the death was an ailment or suicide," the police stated.

Employer is probably a "high Paki official or an influential businessman" . The "servant" is probably a poor person , maybe also originally from the "employer's" same village . The police are probably in the pocket of the employer, so nothing will probably come out of the whole exercise . The case will be hushed up after a couple of thousands of rupees changes hands. Case closed in the culture capital of Pakiland .

SSridhar wrote:China to invest $50 billion to develop Indus River Cascade: Report - PTI
Pakistan and China are expected to sign an MoU for developing the North Indus River Cascade with investment of $50 billion to generate up to 40,000 MW hydro electricity.

"The $50 billion investment comes on top of the $46 billion investment being provided by the Chinese government and Chinese banks for financing power and road infrastructure projects in Pakistan under the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC)," the paper reported.

The Modi-led Indian delegation to the OBOR would have endured this additional slap had it gone there. The Chinese are hell bent on showing us 'our place', whether it is Pakistan, NSG, UN, ASEAN or anything else.
SSridhar Ji :

Clapistani External Debt and Liabilities Outstanding as in 3I-12-2016 : US$ 74,126

Chinese latest foray in respect of Clapistani Infrastructure = US$ 46 Billion + US$ 50 Billion = US$ 96 Billion.

IOW Clapistan will be groaning under an External Debt of US$ 74,126 + US$ 96 Billion = US$ 170.127 Billion.

In your opinion is this sustainable or will Clapistan sink under the Debt Burden within this Decade?

HOLY GREEN MANGOES - CLAPISTAN IS GOING TO BE IN A PICKLE!

The Chinese Know How To Massage The Ego Of Shahbaz Sharif

Shehbaz Sharif ‘more hardworking than Chinese’
“This great project would also produce job opportunities and eliminate the trend of fanaticism as well.” Zheng Xiaosong, during the meeting, appreciated the CM’s vision of development and said that Shehbaz Sharif has taken exemplary steps for the welfare of people of the province. :((
He said he was greatly impressed by the speed of work of Shehbaz Sharif and his team and now speedy completion of development projects in China is compared with “Punjab Speed”. :(( He also lauded the CM and his team for cementing Pak-China economic ties. :(( “Punjab has made exemplary progress under the leadership of Shehbaz Sharif whose programmes and steps for public welfare are revolutionary,” the Chinese leader added. The vice minister of Communist Party of China said that “although Chinese nation is very hard working but Shehbaz Sharif is more hard working than us.” :((
.
While the "clever brother"- a cancer survivor none the less - is being wined and dined and ego - massaged, in his home town of La-Whore, the "dumb Ganja" is similarly feted by the Chini President in the Great Hall Of The People . No ego massaging there

Biggest Cheerleader For Ganja Sharif Equates Paki Seculars As Anti- Religious

Nisar hits out at 'secular' political opponents
Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan lashed out at political opponents, reassuring his supporters that he stands opposed to those who are "secular" or "non-believing".He was addressing a gathering of supporters on Saturday in Saroba, Punjab."Some political parties criticise me for raising my voice for the principles of Islam. If you are proud of being secular; of being non-believers, then I am proud of to be pro-Islam," he remarked, inviting a round of applause from his supporters. This "experienced" Islam Pasand Politico ( who acts as the de-facto PM of Pakistan, and whose wife and children are US citizens) is labeling all Pakis who are not "mullah pasand" as anti - religious
"Some political parties criticise me for raising my voice for the principles of Islam. If you are proud of being secular; of being non-believers, then I am proud of to be pro-Islam," he remarked, inviting a round of applause from his supporters."I will also support all those people who, in light of their religion (Islam), are wrongly criticised or accused," he added. :(( using Malsi to play to the gallery.
"If you go out with a beer, you are unlikely to come across good people. These days, there is no differentiation between Halal and Haraam; only money talks, power talks," he said. color=#0000FF]Giving "lecture" to Aam Abduls on beer, haram, halal
[/color]
Zooming out of local politics, Nisar said; "The source of terrorism is the West considering every bearded man and hijab-wearing woman as being a terrorist. Unless the West changes this attitude, there will be no control over terrorism."
"I am a straight talker. I talk straight even with my own party leadership," he said."I have been in politics for 35 years and many times, people have tried to buy me by offering me different positions. With the grace of God, I never sold out," he passionately said."People these days campaigning for 'change'; do not listen to them," he said, referring to his political opponents.Nisar said change could not be expected from people who have pillaged the country. When Ganja is out of power, he will be first one to catch a plane to Massaland

10 labourers killed in Gwadar as unidentified assailants open fire at construction site
At least 10 labourers were killed in Balochistan's Gwadar district on Saturday as unidentified assailants opened fire at the construction site where they were working, Levies sources said.Unidentified gunmen on motorcycles opened indiscriminate fire on a group of labourers working at a road in Gwadar's Pishgan area, killing eight of them on the spot, Levies sources confirmed.
A spokesman for the separatist Baloch Liberation Army claimed responsibility for the incident in a telephone call to AFP.Two of the injured labourers succumbed to gunshot wounds while they were being rushed to the District Headquarters Hospital, they added.
Local administration official Munir Zamari told AFP there were two gunmen riding on motorbikes who opened fire on the construction workers at the site. The assailants attacked the men at two separate construction sites three kilometres apart along the same road. They then fled the scene."All the labourers were shot at close range," said senior levies official Muhammad Zareef.A special military C-130 aircraft flew the remains of the slain labourers after funeral prayers to their hometown in Sindh's Naushahro Feroze district.Frontier Corps, police and levies personnel have reached the spot and an investigation is underway. Timing of the attack must be embarrassing to Ganja Sharif , who is in China to attend OBOR summit
ecurity officials have said previously that militants trying to disrupt construction on the economic corridor have killed 44 workers since 2014, all of whom were Pakistani but often hailing from other provinces.

History’s lessons - Irfan Husain

As we exchange verbal and artillery salvos with Afghanistan across the border, Iran threatens to send troops into our territory to take out the terrorists who have been killing its border guards.

US imposes sanctions on Pak-based extremists, organizations

WASHINGTON: The US has imposed sanctions on Pakistan-based extremists and an organisation run by Mumbai attack mastermind Hafiz Saeed's JuD group as part of an effort to disrupt their leadership and fund-raising networks.

The sanctions have been slapped to disrupt the funding of Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) and its front for charitable activities, the Jamaat-ud-Dawah, the Taliban, Jamaat-ul-Dawa al-Qu'ran (JDQ), the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria, and ISIS-Khorasan.

Khorasan is a historical region comprising a vast territory covering northeastern Iran, southern Turkmenistan, and northern Afghanistan and parts of India. Really? This is news to me

The sanctions in particular have been imposed against Hayatullah Ghulam Muhammad (Haji Hayatullah), Ali Muhammad Abu Turab, Inayat-ur Rahman, and a purported charity managed by Inayat-ur Rahman, the Welfare and Development Organization of Jamaat-ud-Dawah for Quran and Sunnah (WDO).

"These sanctions seek to disrupt the financial support networks of terrorists based in Pakistan+ who have provided support to the Taliban, al-Qaida, ISIS, and LeT for recruitment and funding of suicide bombers and other violent insurgent operations," said John Smith, director of treasury's Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC).

"The US continues to aggressively target extremists in Pakistan and the surrounding region, including charities and other front groups used as vehicles to facilitate terrorist activities," Smith said.

"The three individuals and (an) entity we designated have connections with terrorist groups that are a direct threat to the security of both the United States and Pakistan," he said.

"The individuals are opportunistic and willing to work with extremist organizations, even those ideologically opposed to one another, to help them deepen their foothold in the region," Smith added.

OFAC said they designated Hayatullah for acting on behalf of JDQ and LeT, and for providing material and financial support to the Taliban, al-Qaida, ISIS, and ISIS-Khorasan.

Abu Turab invited sanctions for providing material and financial support to JDQ. Last year, he facilitated movement of thousands of dollars from the Gulf to Pakistan.

Inayat-ur Rahman has been slapped with sanctions for acting for JDQ and the Taliban, and for providing material and financial support to LeT and the Taliban. A long-time leader of JDQ, he worked directly for Haji Hayatullah.

OFAC designated the WDO for being controlled by Inayat-ur Rahman. As of 2015, he was the director, chairman, and president of WDO.

Bank of China to open first branch in Pakistan
Bank of China (BoC) will be setting up its first branch in Pakistan as it has received its banking license from the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP).
Finance Minister Ishaq Dar met with Bank of China Chairman Tian Guo Li in Beijing, where the latter was invited to visit Pakistan to inaugurate bank's first branch in Pakistan, expected to be set up in Karachi.
The bank will initially bring $50 million to fulfill the minimum capital requirements of SBP.
The bank aims to provide differential and specialised banking services to effectively serve financing needs of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) related projects by leveraging on its experience and global technology platforms. Lot of buzz words to "celebrate" the entry of Chini bank in Pakistan market . On the other hand, it could be that the Chinis only trust their own banks  ( like bring their own manpower for the CPEC)]

Fake Dr.(-Axact University) -Amir Liaqat Will Again Scam Aam Abduls On His T.V. Show In The "Holy Month" Of Ramzan ]

Game On! Aamir Liaqat claims his Ramzan show will offer 3 airplanes as prizes
KARACHI – Aamir Liaqat Hussain has once again surprised Pakistani audiences by releasing a shocking promo for his new game show in the Islamic month of Ramazan. The controversial presenter, who is currently affiliated with infamous BOL TV, will appear on screens in ‘Ramazan mein BOL’ – a new game show on the pattern of his previous transmissions where he will give away several gifts and cash prizes. But, this time, the entertainer has something nobody coming to a TV show could have imagined: 3 airplanes as a prize. probably are model aeroplanes "Made in Cheen"
Amir Liaquat sent his fans and general public into a frenzy on Friday when he gave details of his upcoming show. The game show – “Ramazan mein BOL” – which will air on Saturdays and Sundays at 10pm, includes three airplanes, 30 houses, 60 cars, hundreds of kilograms of gold, and other cash prizes. The TV police of Pakistan (PEMRA ) should take immediate action against this fraudster ASAP!
Earlier this month, the Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (PEMRA) revoked the licences of Bol News and Bol Entertainment, whose parent company has been dogged by a scandal involving the sale of fake online degrees. The ban came after the Interior Ministry rejected security clearance of the company’s directors Shoaib A Shaikh, Ayesha Shoaib Sheikh, Viqas Atiq and Sarwat Bashir. Bol TV , an organ of the "Deep State" is rumored to be ultimately owned by Mafia Don, Dawood Ebrahim !
The BOL network has been beleaguered by controversy since its inception and was able to go on air only late last year. Its parent company, Axact, was embroiled in a criminal investigation in 2015 after The New York Times published an article revealing that Axact was making tens of millions of dollars a year selling fake degrees and diplomas online. Government investigators moved quickly against the company and shut down its offices across the country. Shoaib Ahmed Shaikh, the chief executive and one of the directors of the company, was arrested and is out on bail.
Amir Liaquat Hussain is not crazy or irrational, but generous considering his previous shows. But isn’t offering airplanes as prize in a game show during the month of fasting too much? The million dollar question about multi- million dollars planes is what people will actually do with them. Hope they don’t ‘fly high’ like the show host in their ultra expensive aero-prizes – only if they could afford jet fuel – and end up crashing in a sky high building. To quote irony’s favourite catchphrase, what could go wrong? The Holy Month of Ramzan is supposed to be the period when the "faithfool" are supposed to revert to "back to the basics of Malsi". And Dr. Liaqat is doing Axact - ly that
