Thousands of Pakistani graduate and undergraduate students in Britain have been forced to work for low wages and pursue menial jobs as cleaners, sweepers and porters due to rising unemployment and recession in the country.
Self-respecting pakis must protest outside the British High Commission in 'slamabad against this loss of HS&D. Pakis must be given, no handed, jobs befitting their social and political status.Last year, some 10,270 graduates found work as labourers, couriers, office juniors, hospital porters, waiters, bar staff, cleaners, road sweepers and school dinner servers. This was almost double the number in 2007 before the recession struck.

Yeah! That will help. An open field, in KP, spitting distance away from tellibunny strongholds. Good choice. I hope it is nationally televised with live feed. India has repeated its assertion that Jundal's information establishes that the 26/11 attacks were made possible because of some state support in Pakistan. "Abu Jundal is an Indian, he was perhaps radicalized in India, I admit that. Equally, Pakistan should admit that Jundal did go to Pakistan and was in the control room as one of the masterminds of the (26/11) attacks," said Home Minister P Chidambaram today. "Jundal had found a safe haven in Pakistan," he added.
The way PC speaks makes me think Pukis could be right after all! May be it is all Indian hand...."Such a control room could not have been set up without state support," said Home Minister P Chidambaram today.

Lalmohan, There was never any doubt about the two Talibans being one and the same. The distinction was artificially created by the PA for their own nefarious ends and the Americans bought that theory for whatever reason. The leaders of Afghan Taliban and TTP had been together in Afghanistan and have had the same jihadi Islamist worldview. How could they have been different ? IMO, they were never separate to join now.Lalmohan wrote:ssridhar - the killing of the two PA mentors by the "bad" talibs last year should be seen in the light of the two talibans joining up?

"Equally, Pakistan should admit that Abu Jundal did go to Pakistan, that Abu Jundal was part of the group which trained and prepared Kasab and nine others that Abu Jundal was in the control room and one of the masterminds and handlers of the attack.

http://dawn.com/2012/06/29/hope-fades-a ... -pakistan/“At least 60 people belonging to Hazara community living in Quetta have been killed in targeted attacks, including suicide, remote-controlled and timer device bombings and firing,” says a report published in this newspaper, following a brutal attack on Shia pilgrims belonging to the Hazara community.
Thursday’s bomb attack in the Hazarganji area on the outskirts of the provincial capital of Balochistan was not the first such attack of the year. Not even the first of the month. The Hazara community has been targeted, with great impunity, by outlawed militant organisations on at least six occasions in the current year. While all attacks have claimed precious lives, one of worst attacks against the community came last September, when a bus carrying Hazara passengers was stopped by assailants heavily armed with rocket launchers and Kalashnikovs. They identified Hazara men, took them off the bus and slaughtered them one by one within half a kilometre from a security check post. A similar incident was repeated a few days later in Akhtarabad area of Quetta. Some unconfirmed reports say “over 800 Hazaras have been killed in 24 incidents of mass-murder and 131 targeted ambushes since 2001.”
What Rehman Malik is saying is that Pakistan merely trained, funded, provided weapons like guns and grenades, provided recruits, provided space for establishing a control center, provided equipment like rubber rafts, GPS, phones with voip, helped in planning, arranged logistics, conducted surveillance, provided shelter and later a fake passport for people like Abu Jundal (and possibly others) to escape, but he was BORN in India!!!Taking a dig at Interior Minister of Pakistan Rehman Malik's recent statement Jundal was an Indian
Because of people like Ujjwal Nikam there are signed confessional statements in the record, FIRs lodged against suspects implicated by Kasab, police statements about people they are looking for, their descriptions and all evidence from the attack like ammunition, voice recording and intercepts gathered, documented, accounted for and recorded.“Kasab has given out inane details but he has hidden the real information cleverly. We want to know who is this Saeed bhai. I will request the court to bring all this to light. I would also like to know whether he (Kasab) has anything to say about Hafiz Saeed, the mastermind of 26/11,” said Nikam.
Nikam brushed aside Kasab’s claim that Abu Jundal, a Lashkar trainer he met in Karachi, was a “Hindustani”. “It has nothing to do with his case,” he said.
Joint commissioner (crime) Rakesh Maria said the police would verify who Jundal is since this is the first time Kasab has mentioned him.

KAMPALA, Uganda—Five Pakistanis have been arrested in Uganda's western oil region, police said Tuesday, just two weeks ahead of the second anniversary of deadly terror attacks in the capital Kampala.Ugandan police spokeswoman Judith Nabakoba said that the five men were arrested Sunday in the district of Ntoroki after they crossed the border from the Democratic Republic of Congo. In the Congo, they had allegedly met with Allied Democratic Forces, a group of Ugandan rebels formed in the mid-1990s to overthrow the government and establish an Islamic state. They were arrested after they crossed into Uganda with a Congolese guide," Ms. Nabakoba said "They are suspected to be involved in terrorism but we are still interrogating them."Following the arrests, Ugandan police issued a terror alert, warning that militants could target Ugandan fans watching games of the European soccer championship. The warning carried echoes of attacks in Kampala that came as fans watched the finals of the 2010 World Cup. The Somali militant group al Shabab, which is allied with al Qaeda, claimed responsibility for those attacks that left more than 80 people dead.Police said the five men arrested on Sunday had explained they were traversing the country to spread Islam. Their identities haven't been released.Bony Katatumba, consul general at the Pakistan Consulate in Uganda, said he was still waiting for a formal notification from the police about the charges the men face. There are some 5,000 Pakistanis in Uganda, he added, engaged in a number of businesses, from car dealerships to pharmaceuticals

There is an additional angle that Indian investigators may explore. Documents captured in Osama bin Laden's compound show that the deceased al Qaeda master was in regular, direct contact with Saeed. The files also suggest that bin Laden and al Qaeda may have played a significant role in planning the attack on Mumbai. The surveillance reports paid for by the ISI's man reportedly ended up in bin Laden's hands. [See LWJ article, Report: Osama bin Laden helped plan Mumbai attacks.]
Ansari may have additional details about al Qaeda's role in the operation.

NEW DELHI: More than a year before US-born LeT operative David Coleman Headley landed in Mumbai to conduct a reconnaissance for the 26/11 attacks, a key accused in the attacks had already travelled to India along with another LeT operative on forged passport and conducted a reconnaissance.
Interrogation of 26/11 handler Syed Zabiuddin Ansari alias Abu Jundal has revealed that one Major Abdurrehman and key 26/11 accused Sajid Mir alias Sajid Wajid had visited India as cricket fans and conducted reconnaissance of important sites in Delhi and Mumbai for about a fortnight.
Sources said both had traveled on Pakistani passports bearing fake names and came to watch a match between India and Pakistan at Mohali in 2005. Headley had arrived in India for 26/11 reconnaissance only in 2006.
Also, India had begun cricket diplomacy with Pakistan in 2005, culminating in then Pakistani president Pervez Musharraf's visit to Delhi to watch the Indo-Pak final ODI at Firoz Shah Kotla stadium. The development reveals how elements in Pakistani establishment and LeT used cricket diplomacy to prepare for terror attacks on India.
Sources said that Major Abdurrehman is a retired Pakistani army officer who later joined the LeT. He was involved in training of the outfit's recruits. Mir was Headley's handler, and had directed him throughout his two years of reconnaissance in Mumbai and Delhi. Mir was part of the core group that planned the 26/11 conspiracy, and is a wanted accused in the chargesheet filed by Mumbai Crime Branch in the case.
It was through this trip that Mir developed a peripheral knowledge of the contours of both Delhi and Mumbai, which helped him direct Headley during the 2006-08 reconnaissance.
Jundal has revealed that later it was Mir, who along with LeT's operational chief Zakiur Rehman Lakhvi, developed an electronic blueprint of the Taj Mahal Hotel and plotted various rooms and halls on the map to familiarize the 10 terrorists, who attacked Mumbai, with the interiors of the hotel.
Taj's Crystal Ballroom that saw indiscriminate firing, with several casualties, was specially marked in the blueprint. Mir had also prepared a miniature model of the hotel to give the attackers a physical feel of the place they were going to devastate.
Jundal has also revealed that while there was plan for the attackers to return to Pakistan after the strike, it was abandoned on the insistence of Lakhvi. The decision was taken after it was argued that it was near impossible for them to return as there weren't enough safe houses in India and some of them could be caught eventually.
In fact, a few days before Ajmal Kasab and his associates left for Mumbai, LeT chief Hafiz Saeed delivered a rousing speech on the importance of fighting unto death. He also gave them the quintessential LeT visions of jannat and the 72 virgins who would await them after martyrdom.
So he was an ex-PA afsar saab? Where is that brf knawlidj about current PA afsars going on paid leave in deputation to LeT that PA jarnails dont know about.partha wrote:Sources said that Major Abdurrehman is a retired Pakistani army officer who later joined the LeT. From 2010A Lahore-based retired Army major has emerged as a key link between Mumbai terror attack suspect David Coleman Headley and his Pakistani handlers who guided him in planning and plotting strikes in India.
Retd Major Abdur Rehman Hashim Syed, also known as Pasha or Major, has been charged by the FBI in a Chicago court on two counts of conspiring terror attacks in association with Headley, the US national of Pakistani-origin, and two other Pakistan-based terrorists.
Abdur Rehman coordinated with HuJI leader Ilyas Kashmiri and a Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) operative to commit terrorist acts involving murder and maiming outside the US, and conspired within and outside the US to provide material support to that conspiracy, the FBI said in its 42-page charge sheet.
Again from 2010No date has been set for Rana’s arraignment. His attorney, Patrick Blegen, has said his client is innocent. Rana, 49, has remained in federal custody in Chicago since he was arrested on Oct 18 in connection with the planned attack in Denmark.
Kashmiri and Abdur Rehman, also known as “Major Abdur Rehman” and “Pasha,” were each charged with one count of conspiracy to murder and maim persons in Denmark, and one count of providing material support to the Danish terrorism plot. Neither man is in US custody.
Interpol, at India's behest, has issued Red Corner Notices (RCN) against five people, including a retired and two serving Pakistani army majors, for their direct role in the 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks.
The RCNs have been issued against HuJI commander Ilyas Kashmiri, Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorist Sajid Majid, serving Pakistani army officers Major Iqbal and Major Sameer Ali and retired officer Major Abdur Rehman on the basis of non-bailable warrants secured against them by the National Investigating Agency (NIA) through a Delhi court.
Indian authorities have said that Ansari alias Abu Jundal – who is an Indian citizen – had travelled to Saudi Arabia on a Pakistani passport.
In recent interactions with the media, Malik has questioned whether the passport used by Ansari was genuine.
In another message posted on Twitter, Malik noted that "India had claimed earlier that (Jundal) had a Pakistani passport".
He said criminals using "fake" passports "cannot be Pakistani".
In yet another message, Malik said Pakistan "will continue to fully cooperate (with) India in the investigation of (Mumbai) terrorist attack. Pak and India need to identify their real enemy."
The two countries "need to know their real common enemy", he said.
WE have made this Islamic Republic such a heaven on earth that we struggle to find words, often fight over these, to describe what its proud sons are capable of.Just two days ago, someone asked on Twitter why our Fourth Estate calls bloody attacks on the Shia-Hazaras in Quetta ‘sectarian violence’. “Isn’t it Shia genocide?” I dived into various dictionaries but couldn’t come up with a definitive answer.Butchery, slaughter, carnage, mass murder and of course genocide have been variously used to describe such bloodlust as is being evidenced in (not just) the Balochistan capital. Your vocabulary is as good as mine. But will finding the correct word, using the most appropriate, accurate terminology alter the bloody ground reality or render it any clearer? Not really. Then, aren’t there even more significant questions to be asked? How did we get here? Don’t you wish you knew? All we can see is when a state thinks nothing of using an indoctrinated non-state cast for its ‘strategic objectives’ it is but a small step for some of these villainous actors to start pursuing their own ideological agenda, no matter how toxic. You feel as if the state of Pakistan has totally abandoned you. As if the security forces are facilitating your murderers. As if the media is mocking your death. As if the human rights organisations are turning a blind eye on your genocide. And worst of all, as if your fellow countrymen are celebrating your death.
“As a Hazara you are afraid of a policeman, afraid of any armed man. We don’t even trust the Pakistan Army, top judiciary … almost nobody. Because nobody has ever heard your voice over the last 13 years. You are afraid of going to university because somebody is lying in wait to kill you.“You can’t even escape. You need a passport for that. But you feel you’ll be murdered if you go to the passport office. You can’t go to any office for that matter because you will be identified, chased and finally shot in the head.“You feel that even your neighbours are annoyed by your screaming and want you to stop shouting.”Don’t let your fears about your neighbours stop you, my good friend. Or we’ll be left with no hope at all.
I think the Brits should have kept him locked up for his full sentence and then done the same thing to him as they did to his colleague Kaneria (i.e. ban him from ever playing in England again and then convince the other world cricketing boards to do the same).Former Pakistan cricket captain Salman Butt, who was jailed for 30 months in the UK last year for spot-fixing, has called for a new trial in Pakistan.
Butt, 27, who was freed from prison last week and has since returned home, said he was wrongly convicted and would be cleared in a Pakistani court.

They were also given five-year playing bans, which they are appealing against.
"I don't think I got justice in the trial that sentenced me to a jail term," the Reuters news agency quoted him telling a news conference in Lahore.
"I want a trial in the Supreme Court of Pakistan, because there was no evidence confirming I did spot fixing." (Except for the inconvenient fact that he was found in possession of several bills with the same serial #s that the reporter had paid the fixer with and that film footage exists of them bowling no-balls at precisely the time the fixer said that they would be bowled)
He was released from Canterbury Prison last Thursday after serving seven months of his two-and-a-half year prison sentence.
