Israel-Hezbollah-Iran War
Re: Israel-Hezbollah-Iran War
Its no longer just Israel, Iran joining BRICS makes it a "target of particular interest" to the US to go after BRICS indirectly.
Bibi's interests are nicely aligned with those of Unkil now.

Israel launches preemptive strike on Iranian nuclear sites, military targets.
LinkThe IDF has started to attack dozens of Iranian nuclear sites.
Warning sirens have been set off to get the public ready for potential Iranian counter attacks of ballistic missiles on Israel.
Iran has not yet fired ballistic missiles, but has thousands of them.
According to the IDF, Iran has enough uranium to weaponize it to nuclear levels, for 15 nuclear weapons within days.
Re: Israel-Hezbollah-Iran War
As per Israel they have hit Iran's main nuclear site and taken out their chief of staff and other military leadership.
Re: Israel-Hezbollah-Iran War
Well, well, well, the skies between Israel to Tehran are all clear for commercial flights, and Iran has issued a NOTAM. Their press is reporting multiple attacks. I read somewhere that a final meeting was supposed to take place on Sunday. I guess not.

Re: Israel-Hezbollah-Iran War
This will be Trump's and America's new war. The lines were drawn years ago if you remember Wesley Clark's interview. It's basically a sunni (amenable to US hegemony) combine (including the Gulf states, Israel) vs the (Shia) Islamic regime, Iran, Iraq and Syria. The latter two they have more or less achieved.
They will aim for regime change in Iran and probably get it thereby taking out any remaining obstacles in the middle east.
This explains the cozying up to Pakistan as well. But Pakistan will feel the heat once the Italian objective is achieved. Once again it will be used and discarded.
Now the big question is what will Russia and China do? If the US falls back to its original low traffic policy vs China and allows Russia to get it's point of flesh vs Ukraine, will they stay out of it?
India is more or less a non actor in this.

Iran seems to be incapable of protecting its key human assets from Israel. The latter has kept picking off many key personnel with impunity pointing to availability of timely intelligence. And this is not just now - its a pattern through last 2-3 years.

Vacation ruse, phantom trip, hostage decoy: How Israel misled Tehran before Iran strike – source
Israel deliberately labeled Thursday night’s security-cabinet meeting as a discussion on hostage negotiations in order to lull Tehran and green-light the pre-dawn strike inside Iran, a senior Israeli source told The Jerusalem Post on Friday.
According to the official, ministers were briefed in advance that the agenda would focus on the stalled talks for the release of Israelis held in Gaza. “The aim was to put Iran to sleep,” the source said.
Once inside the secure forum, the cabinet unanimously approved the military operation and every minister signed a strict non-disclosure agreement, known as a Shomer Sod (“guardian of the secret”) document. Only a handful of officials—including Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Strategic Affairs Minister Ron Dermer, Mossad director David (Dedi) Barnea and senior defense chiefs—were read into the full plan.
In the days leading up to the strike, the Prime Minister’s Office orchestrated a series of false signals:
-Vacation ruse: Netanyahu’s aides briefed reporters that he was planning a family holiday in the Galilee and would be attending his son Avner’s wedding next Tuesday, reinforcing the impression that no major military action was imminent.
-Washington decoy: The PMO issued a statement claiming that Dermer and Barnea would fly to Washington on Friday to meet US envoy Steve Witkoff for a “sixth round” of Iran-US nuclear talks in Oman— talks that do not exist. Both men remained in Israel.
-Leak strategy: For the first time, Netanyahu’s office declined to deny fabricated quotes describing a dispute between the prime minister and former US president Donald Trump over a potential strike, creating the sense of a diplomatic rift and further lowering Iranian alert levels.
The deception campaign unfolded against a backdrop of domestic political drama over the IDF draft law and speculation that the coalition might collapse. “It was the perfect smoke screen,” the source said, adding that US officials were fully briefed despite the public theatrics.
Channel 12 journalist Amit Segal noted on X that Trump had publicly given Iran “60 days to reach a deal” on April 12. “Today is day 61,” he wrote, hinting that the deadline factored into Jerusalem’s timing.
Israeli defense officials believe the element of surprise maximized the operation’s impact and may buy Israel critical time as Iran edges closer to nuclear breakout capability.

Re: Israel-Hezbollah-Iran War
What are the real military options available to Iran? After the assassination of Qasim Sleimani and even in recent conflicts all they have done is send some drones and fire and forget missiles into Israel. Their military responses have been very underwhelming in comparison to the big rallies calling for elimination of Israel and hitting US as the great Satan. Is this another WMD kind of situation where western media was hyping Saddam as huge military threat?

"The head of the IAEA, Rafael Grossi, stated that there have been no elevated radiation levels detected around the Natanz nuclear site, according to The New York Times. This was confirmed by Iranian authorities, according to Reuters. The IAEA also confirmed that Natanz had been impacted."
Question - can Israel actually set back Iran's nuclear program sufficiently to be secure for years? Or is the end of nuclearization the secondary and regime change the primary objectives?

Re: Israel-Hezbollah-Iran War
Had anyone noticed that even after Iran rained missiles on Israel in their last conflict, they didn't hit back with sufficient force ? Now unilateral and all-round strike by Israel that too even in civilian areas to kill senior military leaders. What changed now? I am certain that it is due to the support of Trump govt. Iran as a nuclear weapons power is a threat to India too in future. Hopefully this strike will pave for a sustained attack to fully disable the nuclear weapons program in Iran.

https://x.com/ScharoMaroof/status/19334 ... PMy-g&s=19Absolutely no one was aware that Mossad operated a drone facility within Tehran, and it was from there that many of these targets were hit, along with a vast array of Iranian anti-aircraft defense radars.
Mossad utilized numerous civilian vehicles equipped with Spike launchers to target another portion of the main Israeli defense radars, as well as some positioned launchers.
..
Iranian radars had already detected and locked onto Israeli F-35 fighters on two occasions. Specifically, during the last attack, these fighters were locked onto while still in Iraq, prompting Israel to abort any attempt at an aerial incursion into Iranian skies during the attack some months ago.
..
In a new phase of deterrence, Americans and Israelis are trying to force an agreement with Iran.

Alpha Defense commented about the second photo that the penetration is by Delilah missile. Some are commenting that these are to pressure the Iranian leaders to abandon their nuclear weapons program.
