Deadly Riots Raise Muslim-Buddhist Tensions in Myanmar
By THE ASSOCIATED PRESS
Published: June 9, 2012

YANGON, Myanmar (AP) — Security forces in western Myanmar fired on rioters who burned hundreds of homes in an outbreak of sectarian violence that killed at least seven people, state-controlled news media reported Saturday, adding that calm had been restored.

The rioting on Friday reflected longstanding tensions in the state of Rakhine between Buddhist residents and Muslims, many of whom are considered to be illegal settlers from neighboring Bangladesh. Although the root of the problem is localized — centering on the resentment of the settlers — there is fear that the trouble could spread elsewhere because of the religious divide.

The state-run newspaper Myanma Ahlin said security forces had to open fire to restrain the rioters, and state television said soldiers had been deployed to help the police in Maungdaw and Buthidaung Townships. A dusk-to-dawn curfew was applied, and public gatherings of more than five people banned.

According to the television report, seven people were killed and 17 wounded. It said 494 houses, 19 shops and a guesthouse were burned down.

Myanma Ahlin said that about 1,000 “terrorists” were responsible for the rampage, and that some of them stormed Maungdaw General Hospital. State news media did not otherwise identify the rioters, but the area is 90 percent Muslim, and residents contacted by telephone said the people in the mob were Muslims. The dead were evidently all Buddhists, judging by the names of the victims mentioned in the newspaper, which added that those hurt had knife wounds. It was not clear whether the security forces were responsible for any of the casualties.

The trigger for the latest round of violence was the rape and killing of a young Buddhist girl last month. Three Muslim youths have been put on trial, Myanma Ahlin reported on Saturday. Some anti-Muslim pamphlets were circulated about the crime, apparently inflaming local Buddhists. On June 3, 10 Muslims were killed by a mob that attacked a bus carrying them from a religious gathering in the town of Taungup in Rakhine State.

Father of Toulouse Jew-killing jihad mass murderer Mohamed Merah files lawsuit claiming his son was murdered
The father of the al-Qaeda-inspired gunman Mohamed Merah went on a killin [sic] spree in France before being shot dead by police, has filed a murder suit in Paris, his lawyers said Monday.
Mohamed Benalel Merah said in March that he wanted to sue the RAID elite police unit that shot dead his son on March 22 during a shoot-out at the end of a 32-hour siege at his flat in the southern French city. The 23-year-old had shot dead three soldiers, and three children and a teacher at a Jewish school, in a wave of killings that shocked the country. He filmed himself carrying out the attacks and reportedly confessed to police before he was shot dead. This is a suit against unnamed persons for murder with aggravating circumstances concerning those who gave the orders at the top of the police" during the assault on Merah's flat in Toulouse, said lawyer Isabelle Coutant-Peyre."You've got 300 to 400 heavily armed people and a guy shut up all alone in his apartment. That alone is enough to raise questions," said Ms Coutant-Peyre, who is part of Merah's legal team headed by Algerian lawyer Zahia Mokhtari....

'Why do they hate us?'

Must read, folks. FP outdoes itself this time. And no, its not the stale version of west asking why the (middle) east hates them (or the equally stale "coz of our freedoms, stupid!" reaction).

Its much more subtle here. Its a female (and not necessarily even feminist) asking why arab culture and religion so hate women.

A mirror to where Baki society is lurching towards without oil wealth to cushion the descent.

Again, must-read. Thought I'll excerpt and all, but there's too much that's high-lightable.

Bosch Fawstin's The Infidel #2 is now available
http://fawstin.blogspot.com/2012/06/inf ... lable.html
THE INFIDEL is a serialized graphic novel about twin brothers Killian Duke and Salaam Duka, whose Muslim background comes to the forefront of their lives on 9/11. Killian responds to the atrocity by creating a counter-jihad superhero comic book called PIGMAN, while Salaam fully surrenders to Islam. Pigman's battle against his archenemy SuperJihad is echoed by the escalating conflict between the twins.
All too accurate, all too real, this novel takes you into the mind and heart of a dedicated warrior for freedom as he stands tall against true believers in jihad who are willing to kill for their belief, supine and willfully blind dhimmis and Useful Idiots, and other features of the contemporary landscape. Strikingly original, deeply insightful, and powerfully moving, THE INFIDEL #2 is the story of our sad and foolish age. Don't miss it.

Islamization of French Schools
In primary schools, the report cites instances of first grade boys' refusing to participate in coed activities and Muslim children's refusing to sing, dance, or draw a face. In one school, restrooms were segregated: some for Muslim students and some for "French." Some lunchrooms were segregated, by section or table. ...

With Muslim proselytizing on the rise, the report states that students are under pressure to observe Ramadan, the annual month during which Muslims fast during the day. In some high schools, it is simply impossible for Muslim kids not to join in, whether they like it or not. Obin cites one student who tried to commit suicide because of intimidation and threats from other kids over this issue. Obin also emphasizes that many conversions to Islam are taking place under duress.

Inevitably, the report records rampant "Judeophobia," to use the term in vogue in France. Among even the youngest students, the term "Jew" has become the all-purpose insult. Obin deplores the fact that principals and teachers do not strenuously object to this, treating it simply as part of the youth culture. Even more serious is the increase in assaults on Jews or those presumed to be Jewish...

According to the report, Muslim students perceive a large gap between the French and themselves. Even though most of the Muslim kids are actually French citizens, they see themselves as Muslims first, and more and more of them hail Osama bin Laden as their hero. In their eyes, he represents a victorious Islam triumphing over the West.

Finally, the report discusses a host of difficulties teachers encounter in dealing with specific subjects in the classroom. Most Muslim kids refuse to participate in sports or swimming, the girls out of modesty, the boys because they do not want to swim in "girls' water" or "non-Muslim water." When it comes to literature, French philosophers such as Voltaire and Rousseau are very often boycotted because of their supposed Islamophobia. Molière, the father of French satiric comedy, is among the writers most often boycotted.

As for history, Muslim students object to its Judeo-Christian bias and blatant falsehood. They loudly protest the Crusades, and commonly deny the Holocaust. Under the circumstances, many teachers censor their own material, often skipping entire topics, like the history of Israel or of Christianity. The report cites one teacher who keeps a Koran on his desk for reference whenever a thorny issue arises. It cites Muslim students who refuse to use the plus sign in mathematics because it looks like a cross. Field trips, especially to churches, cathedrals, and monasteries, are boycotted.

Man murdered for marrying Muslim girl
24-year old man was hacked to death allegedly by the brother of a Muslim girl and his associates for marrying her, triggering tension in Idalakudi area of the district, police said. Ramesh, a goods carrier operator based here, had married the girl belonging to Idalakudi some months ago though her family had opposed it, they said. On June 14, two persons had stopped Ramesh's vehicle and taken him to Idalakudi where a seven-member gang including the brother of his wife attacked him with iron rods, police said, adding he succumbed to injuries at a hospital yesterday. As the news of his death spread, a group indulged in stone pelting in some localities in the area while some people blocked traffic to protest the violence, they said. Police rushed to the spot and dispersed both the groups.Six hundred police personnel had been deployed in the affected areas, they said. Besides additional reinforcements had been rushed from Rajapalayam and Palani, police said. Shops in Idalakudi and Ilangadai areas remained closed

Bookstore manager charged with distributing banned book
By MAIZATUL NAZLINA

KUALA LUMPUR: A store manager of a bookshop was charged in a Syariah High Court here Tuesday for distributing a book by Canadian author Irshad Manji deemed to be against the Islamic Law (Hukum Syarak) and banned in Malaysia.

Nik Raina Nik Abdul Aziz, 36, was accused of distributing by way of selling the book entitled, Allah, Liberty and Love (The Courage to Reconcile Faith and Freedom), which was translated into Bahasa Malaysia.

She was alleged to have committed the offence at Borders bookshop, owned by Berjaya Books Sdn Bhd, at level 3, The Gardens Mall in Mid Valley City here, between 8.41am and 9.45pm on May 23 this year.

She faces a RM3,000 fine or a maximum of two years' jail or both under Section 13(1) of the Syariah Criminal Offences Act (Federal Territories) 1997, if convicted.

Chief prosecution of the Federal Territory Ibrahim Deris prosecuted while counsel Rosli Dahlan acted for Nik Raina before Syarie judge Abdul Walid Abu Hassan.

No plea was recorded.

Earlier, Rosli applied to the court that the charge would not be read and no plea would be recorded as there were several issues that needed to be settled.

He added that Nik Raina did not own the bookshop but was only a worker.

Ibrahim said the question whether to read the charge or not was under the court's jurisdiction and not the prosecution.

Judge Abdul Walid then granted bail at RM500 with one surety, pending mention on Sept 19.

Atheist beaten by mob jailed in Indonesia
By Asia Sentinel Jun 17, 2012 9:44PM UTC

Once again religious intolerance has burst into the open in Indonesia, where a judge sentenced a professed atheist to two and a half years in prison instead of prosecuting the mob that chased him down and beat him badly after he posted his lack of religious affiliation on Facebook.

Over the objections of activists and a wide range of international organizations, a West Sumatran court Thursday sentenced Alexander Aan, a 32-year-old Sumatran civil servant, to prison while those who attacked him faced no justice.

Among other things, Aan was accused of uploading three articles critical of the Prophet Mohammad including one describing the prophet as being attracted to his daughter-in-law – which, according to Muslim Hadiths, or narratives of the sayings or customs of the prophet and his companions, was true. Mohammad was said to have fallen in love with Zainab, daughter of Jahsh, while she was the wife of Zayd bin Harithah, his own adopted son. The website also carried another tale in which Mohammad had slept with Mariyah, a Copt who was a maid to one of the prophet’s other wives – which was also taken from a Hadith.

The sentence for Aan is the latest in a string of such prosecutions in an increasingly ugly religious atmosphere which is being perpetrated by a relatively small handful of extremists in a country that has long been characterized by tolerance. Most recently the Islamic Defenders Front, the most violent of the groups, forced the cancellation of a sold-out performance by the popular entertainer Lady Gaga.

In the most terrifying incident, a howling mob descended on the compound of members of the Ahmidiyah sect in February 2011, beating three of them to death and nearly hacking the arm off one of the sect members who tried to stop them. A district court found the wounded man, Deden Sujana, at fault and sentenced him to six months in jail. The same court gave the 12 leaders of the mob sentences of three to six months for carrying out the attacks, which millions saw on YouTube.

Aan came into the public spotlight in January when the mob assaulted him. But instead of arresting and charging the leaders of the mob, prosecutors charged him with hate crimes under the 2008 Information and Electronic Transactions Law and with blasphemy under the Criminal Code, which carries a maximum prison sentence of six years and fines of up to Rp1 billion ($106,000).

Over 75% of Egyptian Americans Voted For Islamist
http://frontpagemag.com/2012/06/21/over ... ist/print/
While Egyptians inside Egypt were split in their vote in their recent election, Egyptians living in the West were overwhelmingly in support of the Islamist candidate. Indeed, many Egyptian Americans who have dual citizenship and are living in America voted at Egyptian consulates throughout the United States. They did so both in the primary Egyptian elections, which occurred a few weeks ago, and now in the recent final elections for president of Egypt between the Muslim Brotherhood candidate Mohamed Mursi and the former Prime Minister, Ahmed Shafiq. Both Alarabiya TV and Egyptian national TV reported that Egyptian immigrants voted 75% in favor of the Muslim Brotherhood candidate in the primary. Now in the final elections, again Egyptian immigrants voted over 75% for Mursi. If we consider the Christian Egyptian Americans who voted for the former prime minister of Egypt, the percentage of Muslim Egyptian Americans who voted for Islamists could have reached over 95%.While voters inside Egypt are almost equally split 50/50 between Sharia and no-Sharia, we find the votes of American Egyptian Muslims reflecting an unprecedented level of radicalization that surpasses most Muslim countries. This should be very troubling to Americans, especially to those who care about Homeland Security.Over the last 3 or 4 decades, American Islamic groups and mosques have managed to radicalize a large number of Muslim Americans, especially those who attend mosques. While they publicly tell us they are “moderate” and that there is nothing to fear from Islamic law, they turn around in private and hold the banner of jihad and Sharia and command Muslim Americans not to assimilate in America.Muslim immigrants to the West have, in general, rejected taking the hard role of positively changing their countries of origin and inspiring them with new ideas of freedom, democracy and human rights. Instead, Muslims in America have focused on building mosques with aid from Saudi Arabia rather than protesting against Iran’s execution of apostates and stoning of women. They have focused on defending and lying about Sharia in America rather than teaching values of life liberty and pursuit of happiness to their countrymen. They have focused on a message of anti-Semitism, blaming America and holding Israel apartheid weeks, rather than on assimilating in America, initiating peace dialogue or holding an olive branch out to Jewish students.

Contrary to logic and to the brotherhood of all humans and cultures, American Muslim groups have maintained the same high levels of hate, anger and victim mentality that exists in many areas of the Muslim world. And now Muslim Egyptians in the West have not only ignored the welfare of the 50% Egyptians who do not want to live under Sharia, but have also ignored the reasonable fears from Islam by the American public and instead insulted them as racists and “Islamophobes.”The situation in Egypt is very grim with forces of radical Islam now coming down on anti-Sharia Egyptians from every direction, even from Egyptians in the West. There are reports that many businessmen with their families are already leaving the country on their private planes from Cairo Airport. A couple of friends of mine in Egypt are begging over the phone and by email to get them out of Egypt, as though I have the authority.

Islamism is getting a fair bit of attention even in light comedies like The Simpsons. In Season 23, there is a Christmas special episode set in America, 20-25 years later. One of the characters (Milhouse) is suffering from 'Christmas allergy' and Lisa asks him to to go Michigan as it's the only state which doesn't celebrate Christmas as it's populated by Muslims. Then a visual shows Milhouse walking in a shuttelcock kind of burqa with bearded Muslims in background and he says something like, "but they force me to wear burqa".
Sorry, it isn't very accurate in details as I watched the episode just once sometime back, but I hope you get the gist. Maybe it was just harmless satire, but it's obvious that westerners are getting what Islam is all about. The kind of romance that reached it's peak with Lawrence Of Arabia is long dead and unlikely to be revived anytime soon.

I recommend that the members also watch 4 Lions. A dark british comedy based upon Paki terrorists in UKstan and how they get trained in Pakistan and try to blow up infidels.

X Posted from the TSP thread.

Green on Green Intra-Mohammadden violence in the Islamic Republic of Pakistan on Friday, the day of the Mohammadden Sabbath, results in the killing of two clerics by motorcycle borne assassins in Karachi.

What is it about the Mohammadden Sabbath of Friday that results in frequent episodes of Intra-Mohammadden violence in the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, a country ostensible created to be a safe haven for the Mohammaddens of the Indian Sub-Continent?

Is this a case of sectarian Shia versus Sunni violence or is this a case of intra-Sunni sub-sectarian Barelvi versus Deobandi violence? With apparently so many excuses for killing each other in the Islamic Republic of Pakistan it is difficult to keep track of the nuances!

I am a non-Arab Muslim
I was not always a Muslim. Some 1400 years ago, I was just a human being. My forefathers had been following Judaism, Christianity, Zoroastrianism and Hinduism. In the Indian subcontinent, I had been following the oldest religion of humankind. I had been doing so for generations since time immemorial. If human civilization is 10,000 years old, I was Hindu for 10,000 years. If it is 100,000 years old, I was Hindu for 100,000 years. If it is 1.97 billion years old, I was Hindu for 1.97 billion years.
The change was a tough one. But I went for it despite enormous challenges and sacrifices. For this change, looters from Arab killed my father and brothers. They raped my mother and sisters. They conducted mass carnage of my community. They continued doing it for centuries. And then, for sake of my mother, my father, my sisters, and my brothers – I rejected my foundation. I became a Muslim.
Here's the part that I never knew existed:
Only seventy thousand seats available for Muslims in heaven, will those be filled by masters or slaves?

Sahih Bukhari 8.76.550:
Narrated Abu Huraira: I heard Allah’s Apostle saying, “From my followers there will enter Paradise a crowd, seventy thousand in number, whose faces will glitter as the moon does when it is full…”
70,000? That's it? Out of a billion? Its tougher to get in even when compared to IIT and IIM.

Apparently. That seems to be the cap. Hence the rush by the pakis to get in line and be amongst the first 70,000. Of course, it will take an expert on Islamic theology to interpret whether this indeed is the limit.

...a Parisian mother related how the fear of being physically attacked by Muslim extremist thugs means that it is “not rare at all today” for French Jewish students to attempt to pass themselves off as Muslim - with some even going as far as to fast on Ramadan. One case in point was a Jewish girl of North African descent who for years was successful in this deception, until finally she was “exposed” when Muslim girls caught her eating matzah in the bathroom during Pesah. After her classmates beat her viciously, they invited their male Muslim friends to their school to participate in a gang rape.

Apparently. That seems to be the cap. Hence the rush by the pakis to get in line and be amongst the first 70,000. Of course, it will take an expert on Islamic theology to interpret whether this indeed is the limit.
Not only that. Since there is no rebirth, and perpetual jennat, these seats will not become vacant.

That brings another question. Why didn't these seats get fill-up in the times of Al_bropheti? Did he get a seat or is he like a master of board exam and popper of JEE?

Muslims’ Riots in Burma Leave a Trail of Death and Devastati

Post by member_23626 »

The Muslims’ Riots in Burma that were started on June 8, have ended, leaving over 40 Buddhist villages burnt, including five Buddhist Monasteries, one Hindu Temple and several deaths.

According to BBC Buddhist residents in western Burma have also killed nine Muslims (versus 40 villages  ) as sectarian tension worsens in the region.

Burma has over six million Muslims, half of them illegal immigrants, and there are over 400 Mosques that promote hatred and violence.

Fearing that the violence may escalate, the police were ordered not to shoot live ammunition at Muslim mob.

Burma is a Majority Buddhist country, but it is under siege by Muslims and if the trend is not reversed, which is unlikely to happen, more riots will follow, more deaths will ensue and the country will plunge in chaos, which is how Muslims will take it over.

FFI source in Myanmar, Burma reports that Arakan has become like southern Thailand, Kosovo and Chechnya.

Well here you are folks - this is the Biblical, Islamo-Christian Caste system. the same system was accepted by the Brits when they came to India. The blamed Indians for starting it. And we believed them.
Tabari II:11 “Shem, the son of Noah was the father of the Arabs, the Persians, and the Greeks; Ham was the father of the Black Africans; and Japheth was the father of the Turks and of Gog and Magog who were cousins of the Turks. Noah prayed that the prophets and apostles (brahmins) would be descended from Shem and kings (kshatriyas) would be from Japheth. He prayed that the African’s color would change so that their descendants would be slaves to the Arabs and Turks. (Shudras and other assorted people)
