Ille saar.. We Injuns have tasted the blood and it tastes cold. See how we react for any damn thing that ICC suggests or comments upon. we are like 'I may be against my brother but when it is neighbour, I stand with my berader policy"

Swamy G, you are correct. Also note the consistency in your thought between then and now, and how it remained so.. and should not remain so in the future for:
rampant in-fighting, corruption and mistrust
Now, what do we do? let the revolution start from Cricket.

There was a zimb guy in nz vs zimb match given out lbw to vettori by ground umpire. He referred the decision to the UDRS system. The 4th umpire told the umpire on ground that the guy was beyond 2.5 m and the hawkeye shows that ball will hit top of leg stump. So basically it was umpires call whether he wants to stick to his decision or reverse it. The ground umpire choose to stick to his decision.

voting is still important. the white pakese made a serious effort to move the WC down under citing mumbai, lahore attack on SL and lankan civil war. it was only the asian voting strength that stopped this idea from getting traction.

nope. whoever fights within BCCI, BCCI's power stays intact.
Which block are Londonastani from ?
the realms of her royal majesty the queen IOW, ying-land, white-paki-land and hobbit-land.

asia votes together led by BCCI and CSA (south africa) usually votes with asia. WICB in recent times votes with the queenie's realms.

Australia will beat SL tomorrow provided Australia bat first and put up a score around 300. The OZs are the only team that boasts of three bowlers who can hit the 150k mark and in my opinion, if we have to play an extra batsman, then it should be against Australia. Australia's weakness is in the batting, they look a bit lean without the hitting power of Hayden, Gilchrist and Symonds. Cameron White is a top one day player and a match winner but there doesn't seem to be much strike power after him. Watson is a good bat but not yet a match winner

I think against Ireland we should play an extra bowler, preferably a spinner.

Good points there krishnan.. What came out of munna, may actually scare him as well. The lazy fella needs to watch that. Who summoned him? dhoni?

BTW Bidis think those who threw stones were actual pakies.

lotsa gyan from dhoni, but who is going to give him one? he may be right on many factors, but he should know he missing many things that many others think. he must be careful not just riding on luck bus alone, since there me some smoking bidies in the crowd to hit him finally, if he fails to get us this world cup.

Enough about the pitch already. I've heard crumbly a thousand times so far from the commentators and its only the 6th over. These guys cant play if the ball turns an inch and all they do is complain!

Right. Two of their wickets have been lost due to batsmen charging and the bowler outsmarting him. Only KP got done by the spin which wasn't even anywhere close to the spin of Warne on non-subcontinental pitches.

The number of good length balls by Peterson so far is probably far higher than the total good balls of all Indian bowlers in last match.

Eng are 112/3 in 29 over(ain't a typo) against SA.

make that 114/4 in 29.4 overs, looks like Eng lost all steam in two 300+ scores.

Dale Steyn made an amazing attempt in the field to catch one while in the air. Imagine, a quick bowler actually working at his fielding. Some of our medium pacers could learn a bit about commitment.

EDIT: as I posted the above, Tahir completes a fine catch to dispatch Trott. This is the second superb c&b in this innings. To me, SA are taking their first cup home this year.

those were against avg./below avg. bowling teams and at least one poor fielding side.

Eng battled it out very well and brought the score to some respect. They did not collapse to 80 runs or so. SA bowling and fielding wants one to watch cricket.

in light of me a fanatic TI supporter i stand tall and erect and protest with utmost vigour calling TI below average bowling and poor fielders.

the life he got from Styen was off a full toss ball, the C & B was from an over peeched ball, talk about batting powers,
Angalais are out of their steam, and SA will choke to hand over the Cup to TI AoA

Martenji,
The b;lore pitch doesnt seem to turn or bounce as much as the madras pitch seems to(From first ball!). Flatter and lesser turn, so better for hitting. I'd love to see them change the bowling up to get the others some match practice.
