The RM is a fine man.

But the defence forces are woefully short in all departments.

For one man's reputation, the country stands, as Maneckshaw wrote on file before the 1971 War, 'nude'.

However, the RM is a noble man.

I found an interesting one on NDTV.

Some RJD MLA was garlanded with a cash garland and flowers. The flowers remained and there was a melee amongst his followers and the cash vanished, but the flowers remained.

What as interesting is that while the other channels mentioned that this was a RJD MLA, NDTV mentioned 'Ex JD (U) MLA'.

Therefore, it just proves the point that the media has an agenda; and they pander to those who fund them (?).

What a comedown for the media from the days of my youth when we were told to read the Statesman, Times and Hindu and their editorials for learning good English syntax and grammar and learn of the international and national issues without there being any bias in reporting or comments!!

Then there is Antony’s obvious bewilderment about the technical issues of the military, a crashing ignorance that cannot be condoned in India’s top military decision-maker. Antony’s apologists cite his preoccupation with party matters; but that is hardly convincing.
Isn't that a big problem?

^^^ it is a guided missile ok but the launcher seems to be remotely controlled. never heard of such a thing. plus the missile does not look to have much of long leg.

Do you prefer to be called Song or Hong? I guess the Chinese nomenclature is family name first, am I right?

Welcome to BR, FeiHong! I've visited extensively throughout all major cities in China; whereabouts are you from? Apologies if my assumption is inaccurate; as we all know, the Chinese diaspora is as wide and established (or more) as the Indian diaspora!

Welcome to BRF nishu

Normally I greet only PhDs but I will make an exception in your case.

The admins ethically hacked my post in this very thread yesterday

As a note of caution, please do not give out private information on this board, your place of residence is fine but do not give out your name or the name of the company you work in. There is one particular oldie member, Negi, who will ask you for credit card information, please don't give it out  and please beware of a grammar nazi called Nayakuddin. One of our snooty admins, MahulR goes into Anaphylactic shock when he comes across someone using SMS language.

Jokes aside, I hope you will have a wonderful time here

PS: There is a general forum( hidden from the rest of the world) which may be of interest to you

Well, I don't know if it was intentional hacking by Jgun but given the recent history of people claiming high ground after brandishing PhDs in strategic planning, this is seriously :rotfl:

Nishu, this post isn't aimed at you so just chill

Tis a joke despite the fact that said health condition usually (and mostly) results in a medical emergency? Or are you speaking from personal association with the Bongal Breaper?

Dumb questions:

What do the roundels in the IAF logo signify? Why roundels? Why not any other shape?

What does the up arrow in a military license plate signify?
