One further might be concerned about there being an asterisk on the record of Wing Commander Abhinandan Varthaman, because the F-16 shoot-down apparently cannot be confirmed from currently publicly available information.

Not to worry, earlier in this thread it has been established that the US takes periodic inventory of Pakistan's F-16s. Then, sooner or later, this will be obtainable by a Freedom of Information Act request in the US. So the inevitability of getting at the facts is established, it is not like "we will never know". So it is a matter of patience, at worst. And there other more plausible avenues for the facts to be established, I think.

#BREAKING: Unlike what it had been expected, #India-#Pakistan issue is not resolved yet. Both of their armies are shelling each other's sides. #IAF & #PAF has now CAP flights & Indian Navy MiG-29Ks are still kept ready to attack #Karachi from INS #Vikramaditya in case of war!

Thank you! Official media will not comment on it, but it is so nice to know from a trusted source that at least something is going on.

Regarding SHQ, pliss to take testimonials from BRF to plead your case. We need your voice!

News stories from this thread and Mig 21 Shooting Down F-16 thread are getting mixed up. Discussions are getting mixed up too. Hard to follow for my small brain. Could we please keep F-16 stuff in the other thread, please?

One *safe* way to share would be to search twitter for an similar tweet and link that here with the usual caution of it being a rumor and to be taken with a truck full of salt.

I mean there are all kinds of theories floating on twitter. You might hit one that suits your situation/story.

What does it mean 1 ship otw and 1 more? 1 aircraft on the way, IAF or PAF, lets not discuss IAF.

I agree with Manjgu,s comments above. This is the best time for shitistan to pick up a fight . In 5-10 yrs they will have no chance in a conventional war.Even now if full scale hostilities break out paki airforce and navy will be toast within a few days, I say less than a week. We will take some losses, as a Indian army leut general said yesterday marne ke liye marna bhe parta ha.

Note that @NatSecJeff ISI lackey has completely stopped talking about air activity even though I am sure there is intense air activity on both sides.

He is currently pushing out ISI terrorist propaganda - I guess getting pushed around by Prime Minister Modi in a punitive way, doesn’t suit his ISI masters narrative.

seems to me only amritsar has flights at night.
nothing comes and goes to chandigarh, dehra dun, jammu, srinagar or leh.

so BVR weapons can be used with no risk to commercial air traffic.

likewise between jaipur to quetta there is no civil air traffic since the pak flights out of karachi move west then cut north along the afghan border then east to pindi.

lahore airport opened today evening, but again no flights in eastern pak, its all via western corridor

If there is a plan to punish Pakistan for the previous failed Air attack, it will happen in a time and form that no one can predict. There a lot of noise in MSM and SM but GOI has not given even the slightest hint on what will happen next. The only hint we can see is that there no sign from GOI about de-escalation. That has surely made TSP top brass nervous and MSM has no choice but to run some speculative debate.

bahawalpuri awaam in full flow. someone claimed a indian cheetah had reappeared from its extinct status and had crossed the IB, which led to huge lynch mobs killing some unknown beast. they appear even more dangerous than the POK awaam.

as of today, seems rhino, lion, tiger, hathi, leopard, cheeta all extinct in pak, which they used to wander earlier.

Not sure if this article has been shared before, an article by C Fair.
Some quotes I liked,
But one thing is clear: after Balakot, there will be little appetite in India to return to the status quo of strategic restraint. ... Pakistan has not changed but India has and Pakistan has only itself to blame. The implications of India and Indians becoming comfortable with power projection will have an enormous impact on the region and beyond

I am guessing he lurks here, to re-establish credibly, as soon as I posted this, he switched from ISI propaganda justifying terrorism to shalwar shivering stories about Baki jets on CAP . His ISI handlers can't be very happy with him, Baki's are TFTA - not shalwar shiverers!!!

I dont know from where these people get ideas like only a hole on the roof and no collapse, the target in Rajasthan looks like a concrete bunker and could have been a inert warhead for testing the accuracy. If you dont want an explosion then why a 1000kg bomb? even a 250kg warhead will blow these tin sheet roofed structured

The cacophony was reminiscent of what followed the Abbottabad raid in which US special operators in several stealth helicopters invaded Pakistani airspace from the east, descended upon Osama bin Laden’s lair, killed him and absconded with hard drives and other evidence before the dauntless Pakistan air force rousted from its slumber.

Nothing Naya about Pakistan but India will never be the same

And that is enough to keep them spooked losing sleep, eat up their fuel and forex. This can go on for weeks in which TSP will finally get frustrated enough to stupidly launch a conventional strike on India or start mounting their nukes on limp ding dongs.
