But 6 overs of Yuvraj's potent spin bowling shows 2 wickets, this wicket is the typical Kotla turner we have been seeing for last few years. I think India will win this in the same manner as the Ireland game. Doubt this will be a cakewalk.

Nehra too strikes....

Pathetic! MSD should have tried out the others, got in Raina for SRT, and SS for Zak. And Ashwin for Bhajji. Try them all out in this one or else he'll have to try them out against SA or WI or get them in cold if one of the regulars get injured. So much for MSDs cricketing brain!

well, I would've rested SRT too, he is far too important to risk against the minnows. I would've played raina for SRT, nehra for zak and ashwin for bhaji. but that's history now, so let's give it a rest.

yaar I think Sachin the only way he can play his game now is to slowly and steadily build his innings much like how he played against England. That old sachin of 90s will hardly be reality anymore.

He has got out to to rash shots against minnows looking to accelerate his innings and scoring much like old days.

As long as we don't lose 10 wickets before reaching 189..... TI is making this a close game now. One more wicket, and we all will be adding a "cup" to our langots.

I don't believe this shiiiiit... Against Holland for fux sake!!! I don't get why these buggers have to torture us in EVERY fu(king game!!!

Dilbuddin, don't stop!!! We need anti-jinx deployed like dronacharya 24/7 until the end of the bloody WCup I think!!!

I'm afraid to do it myself in case it has an anti-anti-jinx effect :(

The jinx effect starts the first batsman fall., and continues till the last 10. So, either you can do a jinx op or an anti-jinx op only 10 times in a match. However, one can do as many dhoti shivers before the match begins.

Forget about batting. We will pull through in this game. No worries. I will prove that this jinx etc is fake. Yuvraj has come back into the groove at the right time.

But, what bothers me is the bowling. Our wickets are coming from non-regular bowlers (except for Zak). Of Piyush's two wickets, the opening batsman Szwarczynski's wicket was through a good ball. The second was through a long hop which should have disappeared into the crowd for a six. Even Piyush could not believe his luck. Already enough chances have been given to him, and now is the time to look at an alternative. I was surprised to see him in the team and then there was praise from Sanjay Manjarekar for having persisted with him !

On the whole, another below-average performance all around (even the Dutch field far better than us) but that will be enough to see us through this game and to the QF. Not very inspiring.
