If we admit to the possibility of Karkare talking to Diggy Singh about what the latter claims then it boggles the mind that there was security alert about terrorists etc sometime earlier while the ATS is focussed on other things. And it was the alert that manifested itself and claimed so many lives.

If the Center informs Maha govt of a terrorist threat who takes the call? Its the ATS.

Hence I think its very remote that Karkare spoke to Diggyji.

An IPS officer of his seniority will have links with most of the Polititions of his home cader. Wiki suggeste his home cader to be Maha. That being the case he is not likely to have any direct contact with DS.

Will depends on the cop and his past background ,his personal interest in increasing his contacts and his position.

Karkare has a RAW background , so he will be having Dilli Billi contacts plus HM fols , as ATS chief should be knowing all the top bosses in Maharashtra and Police

The all-directions-conqueror is making three serious mistakes :
(1) by insisting that it was the "Hindu Right threat" that occupied Karakare's minds in his last days and given that Qasab has been caught alive with Headley singing, he is showing Karkare to be an inefficient and paranoid chief whose obsessions could have led to negligence of ground realities and intelligence that ultimately caused 26/11. He is changing Karkare from a martyr to a fool to perhaps even worse and making him responsible for what happened.

(2) given Qasab and Headley, if he continue sto insist on the "Hindu Right wing aspect" then it also shows that Hindu Right is better at mixing with Pakis than the Congress and are better able to manipulate the Pakis. What is Congress doing then with state power!

(3) If Karkare had poured his heart out about "Hindu Right threat" BEFORE 26/11 to lionji - then even lion ji himself becomes suspect as having possible connections to the Hindu Right - since just after telling lionji, Karkare dies. Isnt it possible then that if Hindu Right was responsible, then telling DS actually hastened Karkare's death?

Lalmohan, precisely my questions. What is the probability of HK contacting DS? Its very remote as there is no chain of command nor contacts with DS in Maharastra nor at center. HK 's being ex-RAW is a non-sequitor. Nothing to do with contacts with DS. Unless one is saying DS is also that. Which he is not.
And Bji is clarifying what DS is doing to HK. I had said the same a page earlier.

DNA reports Digvijay Singh still claims that Sri Hemant Karkare called Digvijay Singh's Bhopal BSNL mobile. Is there such a thing?

He doesn't say why would Karkare call him up and complain. And no one asks him that.

Also was Sri. Hemant Karkare ever posted to Madhya Pradesh?

Proof that DS is just doing a HMV:
US embassy cables: Ambassador warned that radical Hindu groups may pose bigger threat than LeT in India
Responding to the Ambassador's query about Lashkar-e-Taiba's activities in the region and immediate threat to India, Gandhi said there was evidence of some support for the group among certain elements in India's indigenous Muslim community. However, Gandhi warned, the bigger threat may be the growth of radicalized Hindu groups, which create religious tensions and political confrontations with the Muslim community. (Comment: Gandhi was referring to the tensions created by some of the more polarizing figures in the BJP such as Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi.) The risk of a "home-grown" extremist front, reacting to terror attacks coming from Pakistan or from Islamist groups in India, was a growing concern and one that demanded constant attention.

Looks like the Digvijay Singh is just now coming up with more lies to support his original lie. Hemant Karkare was part of the ATS of the Maha. Police, why should he carry a BSNL Mobile phone which was issued by the Bhopal, MP Telephone circle? And how difficult is to get the call details of this phone as well? All Diggy needs to get is a list of incoming calls to the phones available with him, or else let him dig up the call records of this Bhopal issued BSNL mobile phone :).

Edited: Now if Diggy say's the call came to his Bhopal based BSNL mobile, how long will it take him to produce the incoming and out going call list (if he is really interested). :).

M. K. Narayanan to FBI

He then described a changing trend in terrorists being recruited to jihad, saying that while in the past Kashmiri terrorist recruits were vulnerable because they were economically disadvantaged, any of today's terrorists were professionals who came from well-to-do backgrounds. India, with its vast Muslim community living side-by-side with Hindus, was having difficulty identifying the sources of radicalization, he explained, adding that even Muslim leaders XXXXXXXXXXXX were confessing they were "losing control of their flock." India is also seeing the beginnings of Hindu extremist groups that use violence, he said, agreeing with the Director's point that terrorists come from more than just Muslim backgrounds.

Ok, I now see Wamanrao's point the other day about Indian diplomats being incompetent.

Looks like Mueller was trying to lead MKN on saying 'terrorists come from more than just Muslim backgrounds'. A competent NSA would have replied with the truth, that an analysis in India shows the vast majority coming from Muslim background, a smaller segment from Christian background, primarily in the North east (NSCN etc) and some indications of beginnings of Hindu extremism. Instead, in line with the Rahul Gandhi philosophy, he jumped on the opportunity of implicating the yet unproven Hindu hand.

After 26/11 attacks Rahul was busy partying http://indiatoday.intoday.in/site/Story ... risis.html
and MKN was busy saving UPA by giving bribes to MP's

Both have no concern for indian lives, only win elections and loot people's money that's their party ethic

No wonder Rahul and MKN raise the hindu terror bogey to suppress political opposition against their corrupt rule

Ban any political party that opposes them by calling them hindu terrorists and when they come across Non-hindus who revolt against congress party, they use Income tax deparment to supress them

Now, Jagan firms under Income Tax dept scanner http://www.indianexpress.com/news/now-j ... er/725839/

Apologies did not see the last request earlier (presume it was meant for me?)

My quick take is the presentation does a great job of highlighting the various agendas at play and the resultant species of Indians produced....I see business interests emerging as the predominant factor over the last few years, so that might need to be analyzed in greater depth, since that has many sub-threads of its own. Also, vote-bank politics in India is creating an agenda of its own.

Interesting question is what is the agenda in RG's mind with his statement, if it is not the vote-bank? A thread to discuss the agendas in play might be interesting, especially in light of the various revelations India has seen over last 3 months.

The judge subsequently adjourned the case till January 8.

Rahul seems to have made his statement to the US ambassador less than 9 months after India's most shocking terrorism incident ever, obviously conducted by Islamic terrorists. What was his agenda, when vote-bank politics was clearly not at play..? Was Rahul setting the ground for future events that he expected would unfold?

The probe against "RSS" or supposed "Right wing terror" is good, and Congress should be encouraged to go ahead with it. The more they do - the better. They are specifically targeting RSS, which is the only org in the same category with its scope and scale of proselytization in favour of Hindus - and the Congress is specifically keeping silent about possible links with terror of prosleytizing orgs from Islamist or Christian side.

This makes the task of RSS easier. If it wants it can now show that Congress is working on behalf of Christian and Muslim international interests - because it never talks of probing the activities of Christian or Islamic "pracharaks" and their possible role and links to terror in India. Further Congress will be actually enhancing the prestige of RSS by attacking it.

I am not sure exactly how the RSS works or what it is thinking. But it can gain a lot of political mileage if it chooses to out of this Congress attempt.

^^ Diggy ( now confirmed byWikileaks to be Shri RG baba's mouthpiece) was on TV today saying that the RSS was behing the Mecca masjid, Malegaon, Samjutha express and the RSS person who was the perpetrator ( he did not use the word "alleged", "suspect" etc) was bumped off by RSS itself!!! Wonder if the US and EU envoys were given a detailed progress report on these cases also!!

The way the CON party is going, it will not take long to hear Pakistan blaming Indian 'terrorist organizations' for all their woes, after all, our own Raul baba says evil bad Hindu terrorism is more dangerous than benevolent Islamic extremism. Plus, their's almost a billion of Hindu terrorists in India. Epicenter of terrorism I say.

I don't remember the RSS or BJP doing anything like that in the past, because they know it would be scoring a self goal for India as a nation and playing into paki hands. The INC on the other hand has blamed "Hindu terrorists" several times in the past without any real evidence because evidently they don't give a rat's musharraf about the Indian nation.

I don't want to get into a BJP Vs Cong BS here. But what Rahul baba did is so outlandish and almost seditious, but sorry, there is no equal equal. BJP/RSS will not stoop so low. As for TSP and LeT laughing, they have been doing so ever since India has been bombarding them with Mumbai masala dosas, and I am sure next few days its party time at GHQ in Rawilpindi as Sonia and her durbar take on the fearsome "Hindu terrorists". Lets face it, with this kind of cowardly self-goal scoring spectacles going on in India, it does make strategic sense from TSP's perverted POV that their war of 1000 cuts against India continue using their pigLeTs, cock-sure in their belief that this will sooner or later deliver the goods. If Sonia continues this kind of an attack on followers of Sanatana Dharma, sooner or latter, somebody will retaliate, and boy will Gujarat riots look like a picnic. And once a communal cauldron is in full force, its game, set, and match to TSP, USA, and China.

As far my limited interaction with "moderate" Hindus go post Rahul's asinine remarks, they are angry to the core. RSS is sure to get the image of Hindus org from this event. All in all, personally I guess it is good Hindus are being attacked so openly during this relatively early proselytization game unlike SoKo. Otherwise there is no way an ordinary "agarabatti" Hindu will come to know the $hit being thrown on his ethos. Only inherent danger is shrewed foreign power may further nibble our territory but that is going to go anyway under the passive GoI policies so bring it on!
