The Turkish Ambassador had been slandering Austria in many interviews... and now, see what happens, see how he is crushed, and expelled from Austria , and hear the marvelous speech of this Austrian MP, against the arrogant Muslim Turks!
Oh, I wish people could understand him in German! The guy is devastating!
Anyway, as the citizen of a nation with 161 million Muslims, I have to say to the Austrians, the great moral preachers, like at NSG sessions in Vienna, "Shame on you Austria, for spreading Islamophobia in the World!".

Click here for a YouTube Video which as a translation. The translation I am sure would not give the impact of the original speech, but we can note down the points. Brilliant!!! is all what I can say .
PS: All this is good, but before rejoicing we may also note a fact that for many right wingers only appearance matters . They may not do a study of your religious beliefs before going hammer and tongs against you.
Around 15 years back the slogan was "Ausländer Raus"! That didn't really get that much traction, simply because it sort of went against "European Values, so the Europeans felt bad displaying their latent racism, but with Islamophobia, it is now a totally different ballgame. Now racism let's itself be channelized better, and all sorts of people can now jump on the bandwagon. The Anti-Islamists also make it a point to stress, that they are not racists or against foreigners. They want to distance themselves from the old neo-Nazi parties, so they often have homosexuals, ex-Muslims, colored non-Muslims, Israelophiles in their party.
The experiences of the Hajj are very different depending on which part of the world you originate from. If you hail from Saudi Arabia or the Gulf states, you will perform the hajj in relative luxury and privilege, which is denied to Muslims from the sub-continent, Africa or the rest of the world. Those from Saudi Arabia and the Gulf states have a different Hajj based on luxurious accommodations, and preferential treatment in performing the rituals. The latest egregious practice is the high-speed rail service, which transports the pilgrims from Mecca to the sacred sites where the rituals of the Hajj are performed. The train is reserved only for Saudis and citizens from the Gulf countries. Citizens from Saudi Arabia and the Gulf countries can be transported to the holy sites within a few minutes. For others, they will have to take the bus or walk which could take many hours each day. I cannot think of any other place in the world today that practices such crass racism. Imagine a train in the United States that states no Arabs -- just people from the west -- can ride in. The real tragedy is the lack of outrage from Muslims.
An suspected terrorist attack that killed one person in central Stockholm would have had "catastrophic" consequences if executed as planned, Sweden's foreign minister has said.
Minutes before the explosions, in a busy part of the capital popular with Christmas shoppers, a Swedish news agency received a message denouncing Sweden's military presence in Afghanistan and threatening deadly attacks.
One of the blasts killed the suspected bomber, Sweden's SVT reported, although neither police nor the intelligence service would confirm that it was an attack.
Swedish news agency TT reported that it had received messages about 10 minutes before the first blast in Arabic and Swedish, warning of unspecified "action."
"Our acts will speak for themselves," TT quoted the message as saying. "Now your children, your daughters and your sisters will die as our brothers, our sisters and our children are dying."
The message referred to the Swedish military presence in Afghanistan as part of the US-led international security force, TT added.
Punitive actions would continue "as long as you do not stop your war against Islam, your degradation of the Prophet and your stupid support for the pig Vilks," said the statement.
According to reports, the man was carrying pipe bombs, as well as a backpack full of nails. He shouted Arabic slogans before setting off the explosion.

Washington: Previously secret cables exposed by a whistle-blowing website claim that the pope is to be held responsible for the Vatican's growing hostility towards Turkey joining the EU.
According to the cables sent from the US embassy to the Holy See in Rome, in 2004 Cardinal Ratzinger, the future pope, expressed his reservations against letting a Muslim state join the bloc.
The latest cables published in Guardian reveal that the US diplomat noted that Ratzinger "clearly understands that allowing a Muslim country into the EU would further weaken his case for Europe's Christian foundations".
However, the Vatican's acting foreign minister, Monsignor Pietro Parolin, told US diplomats that Ratzinger's comments were his own, and not the official Vatican position.
However, when Parolin started working for Ratzinger by 2006, who was now Pope Benedict XVI, his tone had changed. "Neither the pope nor the Vatican have endorsed Turkey's EU membership per se," he told the American charge d'affaires, "rather, the Holy See has been consistently open to accession, emphasising only that Turkey needs to fulfil the EU's Copenhagen criteria to take its place in Europe."
Speaking on religious freedom, Parolin said: "One great fear is that Turkey could enter the EU without having made the necessary advances in religious freedom. [Parolin] insisted that EU members – and the US – continue to press the [Turkish government] on these issues … He said that short of 'open persecution', it couldn't get much worse for the Christian community in Turkey."
The cables also make public that the US government lobbied within Rome and Ankara for Turkish EU membership. "We hope a senior department official can visit the Holy See and encourage them to do more to push a positive message on Turkey and integration," said the cable.

Marine Le Pen's comments were labelled "insulting" by the French Council of the Muslim Faith, whose leaders released a statement to say she was inciting hatred against the Muslims of France by comparing them to an army of occupation.
Wow, 10% of French population is muslim? Thats a significant number and will be reaching the critical mass soon...Was hoping UQ would get there first since they thoroughly deserve it..
The French muslim population is a result of the Algerian and other north African migrations. That is the reason for baning the head scarf and veil in public.

Summary. EUR Senior Advisor for Muslim Engagement Farah Pandith and S/P Member Jared Cohen met with a wide range of UK government leaders, community activists, think tanks, artists, and Muslim youth during their October 9-14 visit to the UK. Government officials stressed that the UK’s problem with extremists is a domestic as well as a foreign policy issue, since all recent successful and thwarted terrorist attacks were perpetrated by individuals from Muslim communities in the UK. Muslim youth from deprived areas expressed less concern with UK and U.S. foreign policy than with the chance to have their voices heard in British society, while those with more education focused on disagreements with UK foreign policy and the need to use the arts to address cultural tensions and reconciliation. Bollywood actors and executives agreed to work with the USG to promote anti-extremist messages through third party actors and were excited about the idea of possibly partnering with Hollywood as well. Community activists discussed how they are working to empower their communities and help shape the debate against extremism in UK Muslim communities. One highlight of the visit was a day trip to Leicester, which Pandith said was arguably home to the most conservative Islamic population she had seen anywhere in Europe. End summary.

German authorities hardened a crackdown on Islamic groups yesterday, raiding homes and schools that reportedly belong to adherents of fundamentalist Salafi Islam.
German officials said the preemptive raids, conducted under German anti-Nazi laws of association, were aimed at uncovering unconstitutional or separatist acts and not part of an international terror hunt.
The raids targeted the Islamic Cultural Center of Bremen, on the North Sea, along with a group calling itself Invitation to Paradise in two small northwest German cities. Invitation to Paradise's leader has called for sharia, or Islamic law, to prevail one day but has specifically opposed using violence to impose it.
While some experts say police overreacted in conducting the raids, German officials have come under great pressure from local media and citizen groups to respond to some Muslim organizations that appear to resist joining mainstream German society.
"These groups are a problem for integration, even maybe for radicalization, though not necessarily for violent jihad. They are very orthodox and like to be separate but are not preaching but usually condemning violence," says Alexander Ritzmann, a former Berlin member of parliament now with the European Foundation for Democracy in Brussels. "The problem is that some jihadis in Germany from before identified themselves as Salafi."...
Harry Potter star 'beaten after meeting non-Muslim man'
A young Muslim actress who appeared in the Harry Potter films was beaten by her brother and told by her father that he would kill her after she began a relationship with a Hindu man, a court heard yesterday.

Afshan Azad, 22, who played Padma Patil, a classmate of the boy wizard, was called a “slag” and a “prostitute” in a violent confrontation at her family home which left her so scared she fled through a window, Manchester Crown Court heard.
She later told police that her father wanted to “force her” into an arranged marriage.
Abul Azad, 53, and his son Ashraf, 28, were charged with making threats to kill following the incident in Longsight, Manchester, on May 21. Both were cleared of the charge yesterday after a judge heard that Miss Azad had refused to give evidence despite “expensive and time-consuming” attempts to encourage her to attend court. After going to the police, she “made it plain” that she did not want any action taken against her family, saying that the arrest of her father or brother would put her in “genuine danger”, the court heard.
Her father was instead bound over to keep the peace for 12 months, while her brother was bailed to await sentencing after admitting assault causing actual bodily harm against his sister at an earlier hearing.
Miss Azad first appeared as one of twin witches in Harry Potter and the Goblet Of Fire. Last month, she was pictured on the red carpet at the premiere of the penultimate film in the saga, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1. Richard Vardon QC, prosecuting, told the court: “The allegation in essence is she was the victim of a wholly unnecessary and unpleasant assault by her brother. The reason for the assault, apparently her association with a Hindu young man, that apparently being disapproved of by her family who are Muslim. Specifically, she spoke not only of assault but also threats to kill, made jointly by her father and brother.”
Describing the incident, Mr Vardon said that Mr Azad was awoken by his son shouting: “Sort out your daughter! She’s a slag!” Mr Vardon added: “He continued to further assault her, in disputed Bengali, shouting, 'Just kill her!’ There was a discussion where she was being called a prostitute.”
Describing a statement Miss Azad gave to police the next day, Mr Vardon told the court: “My father began saying he would do it, a reference to kill her, as he did not want his sons to have her blood on their hands and he would do time for it. Then she began to feel very scared . . . she having apparently been so scared of her family she left her home address via her bedroom window.
He added: “Part of her version of events was that he was going to force the complainant into a forced marriage of some sort.”
The prosecutor said Miss Azad later made “retraction statements” and said she had found it hard to understand her father’s heavy Bengali accent and could not be sure what he had said. Chudi Grant, defending the father, told the court that he “emphatically” denied any wrongdoing. “At the forefront of his mind is the welfare and happiness of his daughter,” he added.
Judge Roger Thomas QC told the father: “You leave this court without any findings of guilt against you. Having said that, you are going to be bound over to keep the peace for the next 12 months. You must make sure you act peaceably. You have got to be of good and peaceable behaviour towards your daughter.”
His son was bailed to await sentencing on Jan 21. Judge Thomas told him “violence in the home is all too prevalent” and he could be jailed.
If there is a place where 'grandfather laws' / 'Jim Crow' laws should be implemented, it is Europe. Kick 2 generations of Pakis,Somalis,Algerians and Yemenese out of Europe, null their citizenships and make their visas void. The only 'contribution' by them being 'improving' the demographics of Europe through rampant procreation and nothing else.Europe is truly reaping what they sow decades ago.
Someone should do a literary analysis of the Koran through the prespective of "Magical Realism" genre of critical thought. Muhammad was before his time in his way of using that genre.
There appears to be several references - sometimes directly, and sometimes allegorically, especially the female camel. Chapter 7 has most I think, but later chapters do also.
7:40 Surely (as for) those who reject Our communications and turn away from them haughtily, the doors of heaven shall not be opened for them, nor shall they enter the garden until the camel pass through the eye of the needle; and thus do We reward the guilty.
7:73 And to Samood (We sent) their brother Salih. He said: O my people! serve Allah, you have no god other than Him; clear proof indeed has come to you from your Lord; this is (a.s.) Allah's she-camel for you-- a sign, therefore leave her alone to pasture on Allah's earth, and do not touch her with any harm, otherwise painful chastisement will overtake you.
7:77 So they slew the she-camel and revolted against their Lord's commandment, and they said: O Salih! bring us what you threatened us with, if you are one of the messengers.
ramana wrote:OK. So there are refs to camels of one gender atleast. Wonder the meaning of that/
There is a penchant for she-camels - if that is what you mean. Could be innocent pragmatism - the she-camel being more productive from animal husbandry viewpoint. If not innocent, I would perhaps not even go into it...there appears to be high traffic in web search for hanky panky with she-camels from certain countries
