from cricinfo:

Using Richie Benaud's formula of: Double the score after 32 overs and subtract 10 for every wicket lost - Gives a par score for India of 410 after 50 overs. Anything less than 400 for India would be a disappointment after this rollicking start," says John.

nearly everyone uses a variation of this one. my formula is
final score = 2Xscore at 30overs if everything plays out 'normally'.

TI should have a policy to never lose two wickets within the space of 25 runs.

now 3rd one falls two.

Gambhir should have played steady, rotated the strike and allowed the other batsmen to pound. Now we are going to pray to score 325.

this is the case i mentioned in some previous posts regarding place for Raina in place of Kohli in the playing eleven. In the subcontinent most of the times he will be pushed down the order once we get a good start and batting down the order he will struggle. Moreover, Raina can bowl some offspinners

time to pull shutters and aim for say around 6 rpo. finish up around 330 by using all overs and start praying our bowlers can do some damage. afterall england bowled out this same batting for 170 the other day.

yes singha is right, looks like pitch is slowing down, getting difficult to score once the ball gets older

Last few overs:

1 . 1 1 1 W | 1 1 . 1 . W | . 1 . . . 1 | . 1 . 1 1 1

WTF!

Bhajji gone!!! Bhajji's tingli has passed on to his feet...no wonder he keeps getting taken out bowled.
