If truckers cannot bring down Canadian govt, if students protesting at Ivy leagues or in the past against Vietnam war cannot bring down US govt the same hold true for Bangladesh.

There are multiple factors at work here against Hasina but some people like to romanticize this idea of student power and sell it to gullible audience. Honestly, its more of a statement about critical thinking capacity of citizens/residents who fall for such silly propaganda.

Canada’s Jagmeet Singh’s New Democratic party pulls support from Trudeau’s govt

https://indianexpress.com/article/world ... s-9550833/

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau faced an unexpected setback on Wednesday when the New Democratic Party (NDP), which had been supporting his minority Liberal government, announced it was withdrawing its backing, news agency Reuters reported.

This move, announced by NDP leader Jagmeet Singh, doesn't immediately threaten Trudeau's position, but it does mean he will need to secure support from other opposition members in the House of Commons to pass budgets and survive confidence votes.

In a video message, Singh declared that he was "ripping up" the 2022 agreement between the two parties and criticised Trudeau for failing to effectively challenge the opposition Conservatives.

Polls suggest the Conservatives are well-positioned to win the next federal election, which must take place by October 2025.

Singh defended the NDP's decision to withdraw support from the Liberal government, pointing to the "even bigger battle ahead" against potential "Conservative cuts" to government programs.

Is Jagmeet parting ways from Trudeau's Liberals in the hope he can become official opposition against a Conservative govt?
If so, he's assuming that Liberals will do so poorly that they'll be in 3rd place, while he will get 2nd place to become official opposition leader.

Trudeau’s Hold on Power Slips After Collapse of Governing Agreement
A left-leaning party that helped Canada’s Liberals build a majority in Parliament announced it was ending its support, making it possible an election is called early.

Ian Austen and Matina Stevis-Gridneff, Sept. 4, 2024
Prime Minister Justin Trudeau of Canada may be forced into an election earlier than expected after a left-leaning political party that had been propping up his government in Parliament announced on Wednesday that it was abandoning the arrangement.
Jagmeet Singh, the leader of the New Democratic Party, said in a video that he was “tearing up” a formal agreement to support the Liberal Party. Without that support, Mr. Trudeau’s party lacks a majority of votes needed to pass legislation in the House of Commons.
It’s the latest setback for Mr. Trudeau, a political star on the global stage who has been losing the confidence of his voters at home after nine years in power. Polls show that Mr. Trudeau’s party badly lags behind the Conservatives, led by Pierre Poilievre.
Mr. Singh’s move does not automatically force an immediate election, but it does remove the stability that came from an agreement that effectively allowed Mr. Trudeau to act as if he controlled a majority in the House of Commons.
Under the country’s Constitution, a general election must take place by October 2026, but, in theory, Mr. Trudeau’s government could fall at any point following the return of Parliament from its summer break on Sept. 16.
One potential flashpoint could be the passage of the next budget sometime next spring or early summer. If Mr. Trudeau failed to get the critical bill through Parliament, experts said, that could lead to an early election.
For some time, the agreement between the Liberals and the New Democrats worked for both parties: Mr. Trudeau got the votes he needed, and Mr. Singh helped pass some policies that were important to his voters.
The two men had agreed to the pact, which was scheduled to expire in June 2025, more than two years ago in exchange for Mr. Trudeau’s prioritizing various issues, including laying the groundwork for a national pharamacare program, a publicly funded system for prescription drugs.
Tensions rose recently between the Liberals and the New Democrats over Mr. Trudeau’s decision to force the end of a lockout of railway workers and to require binding arbitration to settle it.
“Justin Trudeau has proven again and again he will always cave to corporate greed,” Mr. Singh said on Wednesday. “The Liberals have let people down. They don’t deserve another chance from Canadians.”

sanjaykumar ji,

In the western media ecosystem, woke, white, commie, and slimy will make you a star every time

In their eyes, an entitled turdeau like critter can do no wrong

what is laughable however is the "global" tag, because turdeau is, at best, "municipal" in his outlook and his influence, even in kaneda is limited to the narrow confines of his tangible governmental patronage

Trudeau is marginally significant even in Quebec. If that.

I don’t know where this photogenic mug comes from. in Panjab Haryana and himachal he might be considered homely.

Canada's Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs David Morrison has said: "Canada's policy is very clear that India's territorial integrity must be respected. There's one India, and that's been made very clear"
Canada has said its position on the territorial integrity of India is absolute -- the first such statement since the wedge driven between the two nations last year over President Justin Trudeau's {absurd} allegations ..

Appearing before the foreign interference commission in Ottawa over the weekend David Morrison said: "Canada's policy is very clear that India's territorial integrity must be respected. There's one India, and that's been made very clear".

Regarding the activities of pro-Khalistan elements living in Canada, he, however, said it was "awful but lawful". There are things that "many of us want not to see" but that are protected under Freedom of Speech rights...{yada yada..}

Some more rumours about a covert deal between turdeau and jagmeat, to deep six Hindu Indians by deporting/stopping their entry into canada

Poilievre urges Singh to force fall election by ending NDP deal with Liberals

https://globalnews.ca/news/10724820/pie ... -election/

Poilievre called for the New Democrats and Bloc Québécois to vote non-confidence in the minority government when Parliament resumes next month.

He also wrote a letter to NDP Leader Jagmeet Singh, calling on him to pull out of the party’s confidence-and-supply agreement with the Liberals.

The two parties entered into a deal in 2022, with the NDP agreeing to keep the minority government in power until June 2025 in exchange for movement on key priorities.

India Rejects Trudeau's Claim As PMs Come Face-To-Face In Laos
India today strongly rejected claims made by Canadian PM Justin Trudeau that "safety of Canadians" was discussed when he came face-to-face with Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Laos, on the sidelines of the ASEAN Summit. The two leaders exchanged greetings.

"There was no substantive discussion between PM Modi and Prime Minister Trudeau in Vientiane," government sources told NDTV, saying the two leaders only greeted each other when they came face-to-face in Laos.

Speaking about Khalistani activity being encouraged on Canadian soil, foreign ministry sources told NDTV that "India continues to expect that anti-India Khalistani activities will not be allowed to take place on Canadian soil and that firm action, which is lacking thus far, will be taken against those advocating violence, extremism and terrorism against India from Canadian territory."

Cautioning Canada about growing extremism in the north American country, the source said, "The growing nexus of such forces with organised crime, drug syndicates and human trafficking should be a concern for Canada as well."

The Canadian Broadcasting Corporation or CBC News said Justin Trudeau described the interaction with PM Modi as a "brief exchange". "I emphasised that there is work that we need to do," CBC News quoted Mr Trudeau as saying.

We need to understand that Canada's ruling Monkey-See-Monkey-Do Leftists want to ape their American Lefty Democrat counterparts with Vote Bank politics. But while US Leftists can milk the sufficiently large African-American vote in US, there is no similarly large Black vote in Canada for Canadian Leftists to exploit. So they've instead decided to latch onto the Sikh vote by milking the Khalistan issue.

India needs to find a way to inflict damage on the Canadian Left to make them pay a price for this.

While they spout fake denials about disrespecting India's territorial integrity, they continue to stoke up Khalistani sentiments, knowing that this will incite Khalistanis to attack Hindu places of worship.
They are knowingly throwing Hindus under a bus, purely for the sake of greedy vote bank politics.
