Ararara... sorry Ya Arrah, this is bad news for bakistan
Bakis have lost a big opportunity to be the mediators between the two end of the Ummah. And get paid for it. Like they did when they came in between the US and China.
And the worst part is that it is the tallel ilon fliend which has snatched this piece of meat from the mouth of bakistan
Now which countries are now left for pakistan to
meddle mediate between? Do Japan and Germany share a border?

Iran and Saudi Arabia agree to resume ties, reopen embassies
Iran and Saudi Arabia agreed on Friday to re-establish relations after a seven-year diplomatic rupture which has fuelled tensions in the Gulf and deepened conflicts from Yemen to Syria.
The agreement was reached after talks in Beijing between top security officials from the two rival Middle East powers.
“As a result of the talks, Iran and Saudi Arabia agreed to resume diplomatic relations and reopen embassies … within two months,” Iranian news agency IRNA reported.
Iranian and Saudi media said a statement by the two countries emphasised respect for sovereignty and non-interference in each other’s internal affairs.
Saudi Arabia’s state news agency said they also agreed to activate a security cooperation agreement signed in 2001, as well as another earlier accord on trade, economy, and investment.

Well, China is essentially firing across the US bow...first the proposal to trade Saudi crude in yuan (not yet realized), now the rapprochement between Iran and KSA mediated by them, increasing naval presence in the Staits of Hormuz. Positioning themselves as the net security provider in the Persian Gulf.

Total lack of imagination from Pakis regarding mediation between KSA and Iran.
Borrow money from KSA
Borrow money from Iran to pay KSA
Borrow money from KSA to pay Iran
Borrow money from Iran to pay KSA
Keep doing it until one of them (say KSA) refuses to lend. Ask Iran to talk to KSA to get "our funds" released if it wants to get its money back forcing KSA and Iran to talk.
Keep claiming successful mediation for the next 50 years.

Do bakis have an opportunity to get massa to unbelt with the dollars, by offering to lend-lease nukes to Ukraine & maybe throw in a couple of TFTA divisions?
I thought they would have done it by now. Probably too much pindi chana rots the brain and stunts the imagination.

Bakistanis looking ahead at long summer vacation.. maybe Sheikhchilly Rashid can distribute the pav-kilo Atami bums to generate power in each mohalla
Yawn -
Dark summer ahead as generators, UPS become costlier
With power outages set to return during the peak summer season, consumers should be prepared to spend hours in darkness as prices of alternate power solutions have more than doubled in the last year.
This was a direct result of the State Bank’s decision to curb imports of raw material and finished goods to control the current account deficit, according to the dealers. The move has proved to be a disaster for generator importers as well as the local industry.
According to dealers in Karachi’s F.B. Area, a 50-ampere battery now costs Rs10,000-11,000, while a 200-ampere battery carries a price tag of Rs42,000-44,000, a jump of almost 100 per cent over a year. “Prices have gone up since the PDM government came into power,” a dealer told Dawn, adding that “the prices of used batteries have also surged.” “A used 60-ampere battery now costs Rs3,000-3,500,” he said, recalling that the price was Rs2,000 a year back.“
With power outages infrequent during the winter season on the back of low demand, consumers are largely unaware of this price hike. As load-shedding will intensify, the inflation-hit consumers will realise they can only dream about generators and not buy them, Mr Shahzada said.
The prices of machines are not the only headache for consumers. The fuel needed to run them is also escaping the ambit of affordability.
And despite all this, they will still get increased electricity bills courtesy surcharges demanded by the IMF

Pervez Musharraf and Shaukat Aziz retained hundreds of foreign gifts without paying a penny.

Zaman Park turns into battleground as PTI workers, police clash over Imran’s arrest
Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) workers and police clashed on Tuesday in Lahore's Zaman Park area after a contingent of the Islamabad police, along with armoured vehicles, reached party chief Imran Khan's Lahore residence to arrest the former premier after non-bailable warrants were issued in the ongoing Toshakhana (gift depository) case against him.

^ The mullahs are miffed after seeing the list of generals, politicians, judges, bureaucrats- they feel they are the only ones left out and have promptly issued an official fatwa that the gifts in the Toshkana are a property of the state (meaning Islam really) and taking them on Payment as per the law passed is against Sharia itself.
Means that the mullahs want to cash in and make their commissions to make it halal.

Imran Khan: Clashes as Pakistan police try to arrest opposition leader
14/3/2023
Caroline Davies in Islamabad & Robert Greenall in London, BBC News
Supporters of Pakistan's main opposition leader Imran Khan have clashed with police outside his home as officers try to arrest him.
Police fired tear gas shells to disperse the supporters, who threw stones and bricks.
There is a tense situation outside the compound, in the city of Lahore, as police try to force their way in.
He is facing allegations he unlawfully sold state gifts while in office. He says the case is politically motivated.
Police have made previous attempts to arrest him, but Mr Khan, 70, told the BBC he thought they were determined to put him behind bars this time.

Zaman Park remains under siege
Ahmad Fraz Khan, March 15, 2023
LAHORE: An Islamabad police team that arrived to arrest Imran Khan on Tuesday faced fierce resistance from PTI supporters, who converged on Zaman Park to protect their chairman from arrest, braving tear gas and water cannons to keep the police party at bay.
For more than 11 hours, PTI workers engaged capital police — aided by their Punjab counterparts and later Rangers personnel — in pitched battles that continued late into the night.
As night fell in Lahore, the PTI had gained an upper hand — not only had it opened more fronts across the city, the influx of a large number of supporters into Zaman Park forced security men to retreat. By midnight, police had suffered around 30 casualties. Geo News reported that at least 15 PTI men had also been detained by police.
At a late-night meeting summoned by the Punjab interim chief minister to take stock of the security situation in the provincial capital, it was decided to make another bid to detain the PTI chief and wrap up the operation before the morning.
In order to set the plan in motion, fresh units of police and Rangers took positions on The Mall in the early hours of Wednesday. Soon, a few prison vans followed, along with Rescue 1122 vehicles.
As the date shifted to the ominous ides of March, the city was abuzz that the police high-ups have realised the “mistake” of paddling too softly during the day, compromising the entire operation. “The next effort, designed to be strong and brisk, may come any time during the night, but it will come for sure,” one of the Punjab officials said.

Chinese made plastic danda of the police vs eco friendly bamboo danda of the protesters.
Zaman Park remains under siege
The stick-wielding and stone-pelting workers added another weapon to their arsenal at nightfall – petrol bombs. These bombs set police vehicles alight, particularly the primary weapon i.e. water cannons.{That's more like it.. rakkitmard is not far away}
As both sides stuck to their guns and the day started wearing out, police also expanded the scope of the operation and called the Rangers for help and added a helicopter for air surveillance. It also switched off the internet facility and electricity around Zaman Park littered with teargas shells and remains of burnt tyres. By the time this report went to press, the police were on the move for another push.

Govt claims Gilgit-Baltistan force being used to ‘assault’ Punjab police in Zaman Park showdown
Federal Information Minister Marriyum Aurangzeb on Wednesday claimed that a “Gilgit-Baltistan force” was being used to attack Punjab police “who are trying to implement court orders to detain Imran Khan”.
The minister’s news conference comes as clashes between PTI workers and law enforcers took place outside Imran’s Zaman Park residence in Lahore as police were attempting to detain the PTI chief in pursuance of the arrest warrants issued by a local court in Islamabad on Monday.
