Yesterday had a talk with a very senior Naval Officer (now retired) , this is what he had to say about our Navy in regard to Op Sindoor and Why Pakistan Navy is no match:

Just consider the situation. 100+ BrahMos are aimed at you and confirmed by EW intercept. The Fleet carrying these BrahMos are unchallenged due to their integral Air element (also absence of your own air arm because of saturation on the Eastern theatre), required sub surface saturation and adequate stand off distance. Your Fleet and all VAs/ VPs/ Oil assets are the intended target?! What would you do in this scale of helplessness?!

A bit balanced but well analyzed view of the tactical operation. Worth watching.

Regarding the Navy, I still think GoI was a bit merciful of the people of Pakistan. Destruction of the ports will take a long time to rebuild and you are going to see a huge population starving. On the other hand it would make zero change in Munir and team's mind. To be honest, when IAF/IA struck the Airbases, Navy could have done some damage to Pak Naval assets. In all this, I still think we should have inflicted some amount of pain to the Paki Generals. This lot don't understand the plight of ordinary citizens on both sides. Hopefully some covert op is on to that end.

Our Vikrant led CBG on the west coast was surely a deterrent for Pak to even contemplate going anywhere near the oil refineries in jamnagar. They sent some drones to Bhuj and then the sky fell on their heads!

It seems India did the right things post a terror strike in terms of political, bureaucratic and military decision making. It is time to learn from it and institutionalize it for future reference.

DGMO meeting delayed, I somehow feel the PAF will try something in the next few days/ weeks. They are the most Jihadi Mindset in PAK, and always blamed Pakistani Army for Defeats, they have claimed victory in all wars 65,71,99,2019 etc.

VI@WA

You saw a ceasefire.
But it was something far more Sinister.
Everyone’s talking about Trump.
But no one’s asking the only question that matters:
Why did India agree to a ceasefire?

This isn't post.
It’s a classified timeline—
buried beneath headlines,
scrubbed from primetime,
loaded with silence.

Because May 10 wasn’t a truce.
It was a warning shot—veiled in diplomacy.
Let’s rewind.

May 9, sunset.
Blackouts.

Pakistan attacked—
again.

India didn’t flinch.

The PM gave the signal.
The NSA nodded.

The Chiefs understood:
this changes everything.

May 10, early hours.
Operation Sindoor – Phase 3.
BrahMos-A missiles.
SPICE 2000 bunker busters.

Between 12 AM and 4 AM—
11 precision strikes.
11 targets.
Detonations.

Eleven Pakistani airbases erased:
Nur Khan,
Rafiqui,
Murid,
Sukkur,
Sialkot,
Pasrur,
Chunian,
Sargodha,
Skardu,
Bholari,
Jacobabad.
Radars Gone.

But three?
Three rewrote the doctrine.

Nur Khan – Rawalpindi.
Sargodha – Pakistan’s nuclear nerve.
Jacobabad – F-16s & nuclear storage.

Then it shook.
1:44 AM – Earthquake. 4.1 magnitude.

3:40 AM – Another. 5.7.

No tectonic fault lines.

Just fallout.
India cracked open bunkers of nuclear.

Pakistan trembled.

7:40 AM – Pakistan Called emergency NCA meeting.
India rewrote.
Mapped.
Exposed.
Annihilated.

One more strike—
and Pakistan becomes a case study.

Desperation took over.

Hotlines buzzed:
Washington.
Brussels.
Beijing.

US knew—Pakistan will be gone.

Its leverage in South Asia would vanish.

Meanwhile:
Russia had a plan.
Ukraine ceasefire.
Putin agreed.

May 10 evening –
Announcement set.

Then… delay.
Putin paused.

Trump was furious.

So he pivoted.
India–Pakistan = his new theatre.

He called Delhi:
“Pause this.”

India replied:
“Only on our terms.”

He called Islamabad:
“You go first.”

3:35 PM – May 10.
DGMO Pakistan to DGMO India:
"We’re ready to lay down weapons."

Trump got his headlines.
5:33 PM – He jumps the gun.

Announces ceasefire—
before India could speak.

5:38 PM – Pakistan makes it official.
Thanks the US.
Paints surrender as strategy.

6:00 PM – MEA India responds.
Cold.
Calculated.
Unimpressed.

But behind the curtain—
China was furious.

“How dare you leave us out?”

They called Islamabad.
Scolded.

And to fix the breach,
Pakistan violated the ceasefire.
To appease Beijing.

So now ask yourself:
Were those earthquakes natural?
Or did BrahMos whisper into Pakistan’s bunkers?

Did India strike nuclear assets?
Did Trump jump because Putin paused?

Did F-16s fall before they flew?
Was China always the ghost in the cockpit?

Did Trump arm-twist India?
Why is Modi still silent?

And the final question:
Is there even a ceasefire...
if nothing was signed?

Or is this illusion—
taped with American ego,
and Chinese rage—
waiting to detonate?

Don’t fall for headlines.
Don’t get high on anchors.

Watch the silence.
That’s where the truth lives.

So many pages in this thread. Don't know if this particular point is discussed.

India struck at the nuclear weapons storage site. Instead of that highly escalatory action which attracted foreign pressures, we could have chosen to destroy a large chunk, or at least 200, of Pakistan's military aircraft and a large part of the Naval vessels. Losses for Pakistan will be in many billions of dollars. Once we've done that, it will be easier to hunt or destroy Pakistani missiles and nuclear warheads, which are spread throughout the entire country. Why is that option not selected?

i think we just skipped to the end of the conflict, nukes, particularly paki nukes are the last resort, but they also act as the first resort in the rhetorical usage, the goi was very careful of the escalation matrix wrt the military establishment, and with one particular strike demonstrated that nothing in pak is hidden from their view, so almost 100% defense and pin pointed accuracy for offense was demonstrated with minimum strikes, there was no point carrying out the attacks by the paki side with the current infra, they will come back with revisions in tactics and gear

That's too much of a coincidence during that time that there were 2 earthquakes in that location. It's either India bunker busting some nuke storage or a command center or......the pukis testing nukes to send a warning to India. It was definitely not earthquakes.

.....but can such nuke tests be carried out at such short notice? 🤔

Defang them [ de nuclearize ] first , remember they have a first strike policy . Alongside go for their force multipliers ; AWACS,Refuellers, subs etc . The paki army can be dealt at leisure .. we make the rules

He says India no longer has any technological edge over Pakistan. So maybe Asim Munir is in no distress.

DGAO, Air Marshall AK Bharti said they did not attack Kirana Hills. Even if they did, I doubt any conventional bombs will register that high on the ritcher scale. The Tsar Bomba, a 50 mega tonne nuclear bomb, registered 5 to 5.25 on the ritcher scale but it was tested in the air. An explosion near a nuclear weapon will not cause the nuclear weapon to detonate, i.e., will not cause fission or fusion as already told by some forum members.

As for testing, may be they did, but the Ritcher reading is too high I think.

Another point no one seems to notice is the use of AI in our Akashteer systems which has been spoken about by many experts and it is actually apparent looking at the speed and accuracy with which we not only defended but also attacked.

I am not sure if any other countries have done similar AI integration into their systems but after the last week, everyone will definitely be seriously looking at the options. I also dont think anyone else in the world can boast of such diverse mix of systems from indigenous to Israeli to Russian systems.

As someone tinkering a bit with AI myself, one thing that I know is AI feeds on data. More the data, better the output. And Bharat is now the only country with real time data from all the LIVE action that happened over the 4 days. Our systems will already be analyzing the behavior of our as well as enemy systems and training to become even more robust. What better way to fill up any gaps than having a short, quick training exercise with a real enemy! :D

This automatically puts us ahead of anyone else who may even think of matching our technological capabilities. (Anyone will need a lot of indigenous stuff which only 3-4 countries may actually be able to muster at present).

but the epicenters are very close to actual tectonic planes. more over they are no way near any mil base or known site where they keep there N location. i think it is natural and too much we are reading from this.

Not to detract from the splendid work our armed forces did, but Russia is now facing 8-10,000 drones per day, incl. 150 long range drones daily,
backed by the finest tech and minds in NATO.
90% are intercepted. They have 1000x the data we have.
It would be a great opportunity to work with Russia on anti drone defence, considering other countries will just give us lip service to fighting
terrorism.

Agreed sir that they are intercepting. So is Israel. Keyword is AI.

The systems of Russia as well as Israel are extremely hi-tech but I see no reason to believe that any AI components are being used at a bigger level. They are radars for detection and sending trajectory data to the firing component which fires. Effective algorithms whose efficacy can make or break a system and are used by our systems as well.

But all systems integrated to work together and being told which targets to be handled by who. In addition, understanding the battle scenario and acting pro-actively are something none of them do. I cant even begin to visualize the possibilities that exist if you integrate all your data from satellites, AWACS, radars etc and use AI to analyse and act upon it in real time. I have been having a Eureka moment almost every hour with another new possibility striking me since the time I realized what we have achieved.

The inverse is true.
Defang them [ de nuclearize ] first , remember they have a first strike policy . Alongside go for their force multipliers ; AWACS,Refuellers, subs etc . The paki army can be dealt at leisure .. we make the rules
But it will make sense only if that is the only place where nuclear weapons are stored. It is hard to believe that a country which is in a continuous war with another, is keeping all its nuclear weapons in a single storage site.

Also to destroy storage site inside the hills we need to drop heavy bunker busters repeatedly to borrow through and repeat this at various parts of the hill as there are multiple entrances to the storage site.

That's official now

India has surpassed Japan in nominal GDP to be 4th largest economy
Great news. We will pass Germany before the end of year and we will be the third largest.

An inference can be made that China was completely unaware of Indian capabilities in data acquisition, targeting, dominance capabilities. Otherwise Pakistan would not be in such a mess.

This has been a humiliation for China.
