Watching live on Youtube. Crowd shots showing a large group of what appears to be Bohra Muslims waving. Same as in MSG five years ago. Incredible scenes. The power of the Indian diaspora on show for NaPakis and the rest of the world.

I wish Steny Hoyer would just STFU and let the program go on. Modi looks bored.

Everyone deserves his slice of time. That is one reason all of them are there.
Frump will get 30 minutes if reports are to be believed!

Sitar guy playing 'saare jahaan se acchha', amazing handiwork, the dancer is of course clueless as to what's going on.

Also someone suggested that US media will carry portions of this live, Frump part at least.
Can someone from the states confirm if Modi gets any airtime LIVE?

CNN seems to be tracking this event on their website as Live Updates as of now.
Sitar guy is really blazing the stadium. I would love to get his info if anyone has it.

I think what should have been done is that the amateurs should have been given the starting 1 hr of free run.
After the VIP guests were seated, they should have had a short and crisp 15-30 minutes of professional display like one at the Hanover fair.

Yeah what's with that dancer? She strikes up a pose thinking the piece is done, and then finds she has to twirl some more because the piece is still going on. Is she ABCD?

I am not watching but hopefully the elected & selected US representatives are getting a class on the standing of Modi not only in India but also within the diaspora.

Loud chants of Bharat Mata ki Jai and Vande Mataram at NRG stadium #Houston #Texas as @PMOIndia @narendramodi walks in and shakes hands with Friends of India on the stage. Non stop chants of Modi from the packed stadium. What a moment for Indian Americans and Indians & Americans.
What was also a joy to watch was how many of the representatives actually bent ahead with a Namaste before shaking hands with Modi. Good gesture to respect our culture too. #HowdyModi

I think Modi just stopped short of telling Indian Americans to go vote for Trump though with just 1.2% there is not much they can do.

May be he is betting on his personal chemistry with Trump viya. A known predictable moody friend is better then unknown and unpredictable new RastraaPati at oval office.

I wish..... so many fewer Pakis in the duniya. Texas' Best carry at least 35 bullets each with them and they believe in shooting until empty.
