Man, Ganguly does not like Siddhu :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
To be fair Sardar sahib should relax, he is confrontational most of the time with his co-experts. Makes it good for the audience. But Ganguly is left to vent his facial expressions at the side cameras :-)

For some reason today I still have faith in our team, something tells me we are gonna win. If that's not the case have the pitch forks ready for Dilbu and Marten. :P

Negi saar it is not about winning this game. They may very well win this one comfortably against the depleted WI team. But what happens to us in the KO stages?

We should have got a quickie in as soon as the wckt fell, MSD as usual is sleeping. The ball is new and hard when will Zak bowl, when it softens up in the middle overs ?

I guess the strategy is use zaheer when the ball starts to reverse swing after 25 overs. rampaul got that today consistently. hence the unusual start primarily with spinners.

as it is, zaheer was not getting early wickets ... nobody in our team was ! so start with raina or munna its all same.

either way MSD cant lose - if it works, will be hailed as out-of-box chankian plan; if it doesnt will be hailed as unconventional thinking and trying to shake things up. thats precisely how Itvity directors and CxOs make hay even with a contunuing run of failures

damn keeping away from this thread I thought is a jinx mantra... not good score at all defend, but it is disappointing bat from supposedly labeled the strongest batting team.

again back to disco! :((

Definitely I agree this unorthodox instinctive brain is lacking the correct logic. He is consistent in his kaptaanship pattern, and it is busted now!.. duh :((

btw:

"What is Munaf doing in this match ? He cannot bat, he is not been given the ball...aah, he is in for his fielding!!:

looks like both Munna and Zaheer are being kept back for after the 25th over and will bowl on till the 50th over for sure.
Munna for stump to stump and steep bounch; zaheer for reverse swing.

operation uranus is on, gen eremenko and rokosowsky to drive a pincer behind the 6th army.

we will soon know if zaheer is injured or playable. 30th over is coming. if he is to bowl 10 overs until 50th over will need to start.

but given the levels of fitness in our team, not too sure any pacer is up for a full 10 over spell on the trot. in test matches thats about the longest a pacer bowls in one spell.

With Sachin and Sehwag blasting on all cylinders, TI make 290+ . Without them it's 260+ . So, these geniuses are making a difference of only 30 odd runs. What's the catch ?

Munaf looks as if he only wants to touch the ball when he is bowling... I don't think he is fit nor his energtic. Still too many singles being given easily
