Iranian man who admitted to plotting against Saudi Ambassador may be schizophrenic
:)
The judge also heard from another psychiatrist, Michael First, who said Arbabsiar does suffer from schizophrenia type II.
Here's a tidbit that links back to recent discussions on this thread about the Islamist link with Mexico and the Mexican mafia, as a staging ground for infiltration and attacks into the US:
Arbabsiar, 57, pleaded guilty in October to two conspiracy charges and a murder-for-hire count, according to the Associated Press.

The defendant admitted he was directed by Iranian military officials to go to Mexico on several occasions to arrange the assassination attempt.

Link Between Islam And Violence Rejected By Many Americans After Boston Bombings: Pew Survey
After the Boston Marathon bombing suspects were revealed to be Muslims who investigators said were motivated in part by radical Islam, American Muslims were quick to condemn the bombings and plea for Americans to not retaliate against the peaceful majority.

Now, the results of a new survey by the Pew Research Center for the People and the Press show that despite heightened interest around radical Islam's connection to the Boston attacks, Americans' view of whether Islam is more likely than other religions to support violence remains close to what it has been for the past decade. The survey also found that Americans view Muslims as the group that's most discriminated against when compared to gays and lesbians, African Americans, Hispanics and women.

Exclusive: Dagestani Relative of Tamerlan Tsarnaev Is a Prominent Islamist
Last year, when Tamerlan Tsarnaev spent six months in the Russian region of Dagestan, he had a guide with an unusually deep knowledge of the local Islamist community: a distant cousin named Magomed Kartashov. Six years older than Tsarnaev, Kartashov is a former police officer and freestyle wrestler — and one of the region’s most prominent Islamists.

In 2011, Kartashov founded and became the leader of an organization called the Union of the Just, whose members campaign for Shari‘a and pan-Islamic unity in Dagestan, often speaking out against U.S. policies across the Muslim world. The group publicly renounces violence. But some of its members have close links to militants; others have served time in prison for weapons possession and abetting terrorism — charges they say were based on fabricated evidence. For Tsarnaev, these men formed a community of pious young Muslims with whom he could discuss his ideas of jihad. Tsarnaev’s mother Zubeidat confirmed that her son is Kartashov’s third cousin. The two met for the first time in Dagestan, she said, and “became very close.”

The violence, which occurred in a state bordering Nigeria’s central capital of Abuja, comes amid growing insecurity in the oil-rich nation. Islamic extremists, including those belonging to the radical network known as Boko Haram, have been launching increasingly bloody guerrilla attacks throughout the country’s predominantly Muslim north.

from a reddit discussion

Here is a pew research poll asking of muslims, among other things, their opinions on stoning for adultery, and their support for killing anyone that happens to leave the faith:

http://i.imgur.com/vQkIN.jpg

.Image

I decided to look at those numbers in greater depth. My focus was specifically on the "death for apostasy" part of the poll, as that is a question that directly ties into a core aspect of their religious belief (whereas stoning for adultery might have some more secular beliefs/other cultural origins behind it as well..). Death for apostasy though is a good measure because it speaks directly to ones religious beliefs on a particular matter.

.

I think it's fair to say that if you believe someone should die for leaving your faith, that such a viewpoint is not very tolerant and it's fair to call one holding that belief, a big problem.

.

First, I took the population of each country as a whole, and then I isolated just the muslim members of each country. After that, I just calculated the raw totals of muslims that answered in the affirmative regarding death for apostasy. Just basic math here, simply multiplying the percentage stated on the poll versus the total population of the countries muslims:

.

(The population and demographic information come from wikipedia)

.
Turkey

Population: 74 million (98% muslim)

72.5 million muslims

Number of Muslims with intolerant/violent views: 3.6 million

.
Egypt

Population: 90 million (90% identify as muslim)

81 million muslims

Intolerant/violent: 68 million

.
Jordan

Population: 6 million (92% muslim)

5,500000 muslims

Intolerant/violent: 4.7 million

.
Lebanon

Population: 4 million (60% muslim)

2.4 million muslims

Intolerant/Violent: 144,000 (good job lebanon)

.
Indonesia

Population: 237,400,000 (86% muslim)

204 million muslims

Intolerant/Violent: 61 million

.
Pakistan

Population: 180 million (97%)

174 million muslims

Intolerant/Violent: 132 million

.
Nigeria

Population: 170 million (50% muslim)

85 million muslims

Intolerant/Violent: 42.5 million

Total Muslims in these Countries: ~624,400,000 (Nearly 40% of ALL muslims in the world btw)

Total Muslims certified intolerant or with violent beliefs directly related to their religion: ~311,944,000 (50% of muslims polled)

.
Conclusion:

We only looked at 7 countries. We didn't include Syria, many north african muslim countries, Iraq, Iran, Afghanistan, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Yemen, and many other countries that no doubt also have very fervent believers in Islam that are likely in line with some of the other countries listed above. Even so, without even considering those other nations, we already have a hard number of at least 20% of all muslims world wide, being completely intolerant and violent in their view of their religion. They believe you should be put to death if you leave the faith. If we were to look at other countries, this number would be undoubtedly higher, and probably closer to 30-40%.

.

I believe this to be hard proof that islam, as it is today, is a very intolerant religion in the modern world, with many adherents subscribing to a violent philosophy. While these muslims are a minority, they are a very sizable portion of the muslim faith. They are not "extremists" or a fringe group of paltry numbers.

Thankfully, the vast majority of western muslims are likely to be among the most tolerant and peaceful, but on a global scale, Islam still has a lot of work to do with their membership

Notwithstanding the steady Mohammaddenisation of Bollywood which makes it almost de rigueur to have a surname like Khan to make it, Bollywood still has plenty of detractors in the Mohammadden world, in particular in the Mohammadden world located in the Indian Sub-Continent. Mohammaddenism it appears does not take to Non-Mohammadden influences irrespective of its Western or Eastern origin:

The Government of Sudan gives short shrift to the attempt of some of their Mohammadden co-religionists who are trying to peddle a bowlderised version of Jihad by admitting the violent nature of that religious doctrine:
Sudan urges mosques’ imams to call for jihad against rebels

May 10, 2013 (KHARTOUM) - Sudan’s High Committee for Mobilisation and Alert has held a meeting with mosque imams to discuss the implications of the recent attacks in South and North Kordofan states by the rebel Sudan Revolutionary Front (SRF) and to call for jihad (holy war). ………………..

The spokesperson for the Popular Defence Forces (PDF), Mohamed Ahmed Haj Majid, warned against the actions of the SRF which he said aims to disrupt national unity and break up the country, calling on imams to encourage people to engage in jihad and to fight in the name of Allah. …………….
Above belies the attempt by Mohammaddens to soft peddle the violent aspect of the religious doctrine of Jihad to Kaafir Non-Mohammaddens with advertisments such as these:

Malcolm X grandson Malcolm Shabazz dies in Mexico City (Note again the Mexico link)
The grandson of US political activist Malcolm X has died in Mexico City following a fight in a bar, say Mexican officials.

[...]

Miguel Suarez, a union activist who was travelling with Shabazz, said they had been in the country as part of their efforts to advocate more rights for Mexican construction workers in the US.
Mr Suarez said he and Shabazz were invited to a bar on Wednesday night by a woman.

The bar owner later demanded they pay $1,200 (£780) for drinks and female companionship, according to Mr Suarez.

He said that he escaped as a fight broke out, before returning to find Shabazz seriously injured on the ground outside the bar.

Mr Suarez said he took Shabazz to a hospital where he died of "blunt-force injuries".

Shabazz was the son of one of Malcolm X's six daughters, Qubilah Shabazz.

When he was 12, he was involved in a fire that killed his grandmother Betty Shabazz, the widow of Malcolm X.

He was convicted of manslaughter and arson and sentenced to time in a juvenile detention centre.

Qatar jails a Nepali teacher on charges of insulting Islam
A Nepali teacher who taught chemistry at Qatar Academy has been jailed in Doha on felony charges for insulting Islam.

Dorje Gurung, who has taught chemistry to middle and high school students in the United States, Britain and Australia, appeared in a Doha court on Thursday. If convicted, he could face up to seven years in prison, according to Doha News.
Gurung was fired from Qatar Academy after arguments with students on April 22 and 23. Although he was set to leave the country, he was summoned by the police and has been jailed since last Wednesday, according to The Himalayan Times.
Gurung has been accused of comparing all Muslims to terrorists. But two of his friends shared Gurung’s version with Doha News:

On Monday, April 22, Gurung said he had a sit-down chat with three 12-year-old boys who were making fun of him. Among other things, the seventh graders poked fun at his appearance, calling him “Jackie Chan,” a famous Chinese actor.

On Tuesday, April 23, the mocking again began in earnest while Gurung was in line for lunch. At first, he said the teasing was light-hearted, but then one student put his hand on Gurung’s shoulder and a finger in his nose. At this point, Gurung grew agitated and said remarks to the effect of, how would you like to be stereotyped i.e. called a terrorist?

Gurung has no legal representation, but the Nepali embassy is seeking permission from the Kathmandu government to meet with Gurung, Doha News reports. Without a lawyer, Gurung’s friends fear he would not get a fair trial. The court would rely on the complaints from Qatar Academy’s students, they said.

News of the charges spread quickly to Nepal, where Gurung attended the prestigious St. Xavier’s School and later won scholarships to study in Italy and the United States.Friends say Gurung’s words were taken out of context. “Because of his education, his travels and the worldly students he teaches, one can say that he is one of the most cosmopolitan, open-minded and fair persons,” Ashutosh Tiwari, who attended school with Gurung and works on water issues in Nepal, said in an e-mail. “He is a kind, gentle person who loves nothing more than teaching chemistry to students and getting them excited about science.”

Egyptian Christian man who stabbed wife for converting to Islam kills himself while in custody
ASSIUT, Egypt — Egyptian security officials say a Coptic Christian who stabbed his wife for converting to Islam has killed himself by jumping out of a fourth-story courthouse window.

The officials say Romany Amir committed suicide on Sunday as he was waiting to be interrogated by police at the main court in the southern city of Assiut. The officials spoke on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to speak to the media.

Amir’s wife remained in hospital in critical condition following the stabbing on Saturday.

Amir was buried later Sunday in his village near Assiut. The area is a stronghold of Islamists and mourners chanted slogans against them during the funeral.

Islam is a religion of peace. Islam means peace. One name of Allah is peace.
Muslims do not kill Muslims.
Per Islam even killing one human being (forget about the fact that non-Muslims are not full humans) is same as killing whole humanity.
This is a Syrian Govt propaganda to defame syrian democratic and peaceful resistance.
Saudi Arabia wouldn't support this resistance group if they do not live true Islamic life.

Must be a YYY propaganda. Was the (alleged) jihadi wearing saffron thread on his wrist, by any chance?

Religion Of Pressure Cocker
Saudi man traveling with pressure cooker arrested
DETROIT: A Saudi man was arrested at Detroit Metropolitan Airport after federal agents said he lied about why he was traveling with a pressure cooker, according to a court documents filed Monday.Hussain Al Kwawahir was being held Monday in Detroit on allegations of using a passport with a missing page and lying to Customs and Border Protection agents.A criminal complaint says Al Kwawahir arrived at the airport Saturday on a flight from Saudi Arabia via Amsterdam. The complaint says Al Kwawahir told agents he was visiting his nephew, who he said is a student at the University of Toledo in Ohio. The complaint says Al Kwawahir originally said he brought the pressure cooker with him because pressure cookers aren't sold in America, then later said his nephew had bought one but it "was cheap" and broke after one use.Agents said they also noticed a page was missing from Al Kwawahir's passport from Saudi Arabia. He told them he didn't how it had been removed, and said the document had been locked in a box that only he, his wife, and three children have access to in his home, according to the complaint.Al Kwawahir was read his Miranda rights, which he said he understood, and he invoked his right to remain silent, according to the complaint.A Monday detention hearing for Al Kwawahir was delayed and a message seeking comment about whether he has an attorney was left with a spokeswoman for the U.S. attorney's office in Detroit.

“The funeral that was held in Kabul where you couldn’t even mention the name of our lord and savior Jesus Christ and yet a Muslim cleric gets up and damns these fallen heroes to Hell as infidels. Unbelievable that our military brass would allow this to happen,” Klayman said at the press conference.

Klayman’s presentation, which a translator present at the press conference helped prepare, claimed that the cleric’s prayer, translated from Arabic, said the following:

“Amen. I shelter in Allah from the devil who has been cast with stones.
In the name of Allah the merciful forgiver.
The companions of “THE FIRE”
(The sinners and infidels who are fodder for the hell fire)
ARE NOT EQUAL WITH the companions of heaven.
The companions of heaven (Muslims) are the WINNERS.

US: CIA thwarts new al-Qaida underwear bomb plot
The CIA thwarted an ambitious plot by al-Qaida's affiliate in Yemen to destroy a U.S.-bound airliner using a bomb with a sophisticated new design around the one-year anniversary of the killing of Osama bin Laden, The Associated Press has learned.

The plot involved an upgrade of the underwear bomb that failed to detonate aboard a jetliner over Detroit on Christmas 2009. This new bomb was also designed to be used in a passenger's underwear  , but this time al-Qaida developed a more refined detonation system, U.S. officials said.
Underwear bomb 2.0..! take that juu kufrs, creativity in destruction. Only Religion of piece can comeup with this kind of inventions in frequent intervals.

Indications are that the detonation system was custom designed to respond to a specific sonic frequency, vibration pattern or methane content in the immediate environment - or all three combined.

X Posted from the Terrorist Islamic Republic of Pakistan thread.

Former UK legislator Ann Cryer blames “cultural practices that have been imported into this country from Pakistan” for the Paedophile activity of a group of Mohamaddens, five of whom originated in the Islamic Republic of Pakistan:
"It's cultural practices that have been imported into this country from Pakistan and we must not lose sight of that fact.
"We can't just turn a blind eye to it."
From the Huffington Post:

Oxford Paedophile Ring: Former Labour MP Ann Cryer Blames 'Cultural Practices' From Pakistan

Meanwhile the penny finally drops on how the “Asian” term is used to hide the Mohammadden religious antecedents of the paedophiles though regrettably the fact that these crimes were committed by an overwhelming majority of individuals with national origins in the Islamic Republic of Pakistan has not evoked a similar reaction with regard to the use of the “Asian” term:

The Oxford ‘Asian grooming gang’ were not in fact all Asian. But they were all Muslim: is this a problem we are afraid to face?

Confrontation looms as Tunisia moves on salafis
Tunisia is taking a harder line on preaching by ultraconservative Muslim groups, a crackdown that has sparked demonstrations by rock-throwing protesters and ominous warnings of terrorist attacks to come.

As it struggles to hunt down al-Qaida linked terrorists in its frontiers, the government has also been trying to rein in salafis emboldened by the fall of the country's repressive dictatorship two years ago. The interior minister said last week that gatherings will require permission, a measure rarely enforced in the past that is an attempt to stop tent meetings springing up around the country to build support for the groups.

One of the most vocal of them threatened Monday that if the government cancels its annual conference this weekend — an event attended by 40,000 last year that featured martial arts displays and sword-wielding horsemen — its adherents who have experience in jihad could strike.

"You are making a foolish mistake because faith cannot be defeated by any force in the world," said Seifallah Ben Hassine, the leader of Ansar al-Shariah, in an online statement. "I remind you that our youth that proved its heroism in the defense of Islam in Afghanistan, Chechnya, Bosnia, Iraq, Somalia and Syria will not hesitate to make sacrifices for the faith."

Tunisia's government, led by the moderate Islamist Ennahda Party, which won elections after the overthrow of Zine El-Abidine Ben Ali's secular dictatorship, had been criticized by the opposition for its permissive attitude toward the conservative religious movements that arose with the fall of the regime.

[...]

In defiance of the government over the weekend, salafis set up tents around lower-income Tunis suburbs and in conservative southern towns. When police attempted to dismantle the tents, they were met with stones and firebombs, and responded with tear gas.

A video of one such rally in the town of Menzel-Bourguiba, north of the capital showed several preachers calling for jihad into megaphones.

"No one can resist when the wind of revolution blows," said one speaker, accusing the government of being an American lackey. "You get on your knees in front of America, but our youth will bring America itself to its knees."

Ansar al-Shariah rocketed to prominence last year at its gathering in Kairouan, one of Islam's most revered cities. The Interior Ministry has yet to say if they will allow the conference to go head, but the group's spokesman said the government would bear responsibility for the consequences if it bans it.

"We will not march backwards," said Seifeddine Rais during an interview with Shems FM radio, in which he predicted at least 30,000 would attend.

France: Priest Attacked by Muslim, Monsignor Denounces Muslims Taking Control of District
First they came for the Jews, France dismissed it as "because of the Middle East." Then they came for the gays; France dismissed it as "isolated incidents." Now they are attacking symbols of Christianity, vandalizing churches, disrupting services and finally attacking priests.
The day after the attack on Father Grégoire, Monsignor Cattenoz has spoken out strongly and denounces "people of the Muslim faith taking control of the district". The facts are taking on a political/religious dimension...

On Monday at around 8 pm, Father Grégoire from the parish of Saint-Jean was attacked by an individual. Struck on the face, the priest was unconscious on the ground until two other members of the parish arrived. This Tuesday morning at around 11 am, Monsignor Cattenoz, Archbishop of Avignon, denounced growing insecurity in the district of Saint-Ruf (while the local authority official in charge of public safety claims instead that there has been a decrease in crime in this sector), as well as the proliferation of thefts and threats towards members of the parish.

The leader of the Catholics in Vaucluse went even further: "People of the Muslim faith have progressively taken control of this district"... before proposing to create a committee bringing together representatives of the main religions, in order to calm the situation.

The Avignonnese Mohammed Moussaoui, president of the French Council of the Muslim Religion, also wants to calm things down: "Before highlighting adherence to one or another religion, we need to see if the attack was accompanied by words or gestures associated with the religion. Giving it a religious dimension seems counter-productive to me."

Meanwhile, politicians have not been slow to react.

The mayor of Avignon Marie-Josée Roig (UMP) said he was "dismayed by this indescribable act", recalling that "our republican compact cannot tolerate such violent acts perpetrated by some who have an unbearable sense of impunity". the deputy mayor of Orange Jacques Bompard (Ligue du Sud) [League of the South] calls it an "act of racism (in the sense of the penal code) with regard to a Catholic priest, which is also the consequence of the hatred which a certain Islamism propagates with regards to everything that is French and Christian."

Muslim Women Like Having Sex, and Halal Lube Is a Thing That Exists
http://jezebel.com/muslim-women-like-ha ... -505979520
What's your image of a devoutly Muslim woman? Pious and shy? Virginal and unwilling to experiment? Well, if this devoutly Muslim woman is married, you're probably wrong.Islam is surprisingly (surprising, that is, depending on how much you know about the religion) open about sex within married couples. While most Islamic societies go to great lengths to make sure all things sex-related remain out of the public eye, sex between a married man and woman is, by Islamic jurisprudence, allowed to get steamy. Unlike some religions (cough Catholicism cough), you don't have to have sex just to make babies when you're Muslim. Sex between a husband and wife is encouraged in Islam — and not only as a lawful method for getting off. There are accounts of the Prophet Muhammad ruling that husbands or wives who were spending a little too much time praying and fasting, especially at night, should ease up and take care of their partner's sexual needs. Hear, hear! While the Qur'an and various accounts of the Prophet have spoken rather openly about sex, (open for the 632 A.D. in the Arabian Peninsula, anyhow), Muslims, and Muslim women, still shy away from much discussion the subject. That's beginning to change, thanks to marriage counselors like Wedad Lootah, who is based in Dubai. Her book, Top Secret: Sexual Guidance for Married Couples, was blessed by the mufti of the United Arab Emirates. But Lootah doesn't believe her book is just about sex:"My subject is not sex; people always misunderstand that. I'm trying to guide people about how to satisfy each other… We're talking about Islam. We're not talking about sex."Well, when you're talking about satisfaction in a sex book, you are talking about sex, but maybe that's just her conservative PR campaign talking. Anyhow, Lootah's tips don't sound unlike Western marriage counselors. She usually helps women who find their husbands disinterested or inexperienced when it comes to pleasuring women: "They're here because the men don't always understand that they have responsibility in marriage beyond working: they have a responsibility to make sure the wife gets pleasure."In nearby Bahrain, Khadija Ahmed opened up a sex store called Khadija Fashion House in 2010, causing scandal in the small country. "I established the store to help married couples, because the issue most Bahraini couples suffer from is the lack of interest in their intimate relationship," said Ahmed. But her seemingly benign effort to spice up married couples' sex lives did not go over well when she crossed customs with some sex toys. She was held in jail in 2010 when customs officials declared that some of the products Ahmed was importing were unauthorized. "The products I sell don't go against Islam," said Ahmed. "There is nothing that prohibits married couples from enjoying their sex lives, or preventing them from having a happy marriage."
Stateside, Asra Nomani, one of the leading faces of Islamic feminism, penned the Islamic Bill of Rights for Women in the Bedroom. The ten commandments of the bill specify a woman's sexual rights within the guidelines of Islam, from a woman's right to a pleasurable experience to her Islamic right to be free from every form of abuse. For Abdelaziz Aouragh, sexual pleasure between religious men and women is his business. Aouragh owns an online sex shop called Al-Asira (meaning "society" or "clan" in Arabic), which sells a line of "sharia conscious" lotions and lube. That's right, they make halal lube. "We don't sell products that simply enhance the love life between man and woman," reads the site's "Philosophy" page, "We strive to offer a product range which will eventually lead to more admiration and love for women."All of which may make many a Muslim woman blush, but when it comes down to it, Islam encourages believers to have happy marriages, and (most) happy marriages tend to include decent sex. When you take away the stereotype of the quiet and submissive woman behind a veil, it's all too clear Muslim women, like most women, want to get some. We're all horny, no matter our creed.

Egyptian Christians targeted with blasphemy charges

CAIRO (AP) — The pale, young Christian woman sat handcuffed in the courtroom, accused of insulting Islam while teaching history of religions to fourth-graders. A team of Islamist lawyers with long beards sang in unison, "All except the Prophet Muhammad."

The case against Dimyana Abdel-Nour in southern Egypt's ancient city of Luxor began when parents of three of her pupils claimed that their children, aged 10, complained their teacher showed disgust when she spoke of Islam in class. According to the parents, Abdel-Nour, 24, told the children that Pope Shenouda, who led the Egyptian Coptic Church until his death last year, was better than the Prophet Muhammad.

Blasphemy charges were not uncommon in Egypt under the now-ousted autocrat Hosni Mubarak's regime, but there has been a surge in such cases in recent months, according to rights activists. The trend is widely seen as a reflection of the growing power and confidence of Islamists, particularly the ultraconservative Salafis.

Lebanese Man Impregnates His Sister, Kills Her in 'Honor Crime'

A man has killed his pregnant teenage sister in south Lebanon in what was seen as an honor crime - the murder of a woman accused of shaming her family.
Voice of Lebanon radio (100.5) said Friday that the body of Baghdad Khaled al-Issa, 18, was found with stab wounds in her head and sides in the area of al-Wazzani.
Investigators discovered that her brother Jihad, 21, had killed her in what is described as an honor crime, VDL said.
It added that the victim was seven months pregnant.
Later on Friday, LBCI television reported that the investigation with Jihad revealed that he had raped his sister, which lead to her pregnancy.
"He confessed to raping his sister,” LBCI said, adding that Jihad claimed he was drunk when the incident happened.
The television channel added that he had only recently found out about the pregnancy and asked his sister to undergo an abortion,
but she refused.

‘Imams promote grooming rings’, Muslim leader claims
The Oxford grooming ring was promoted by imams who encourage followers to think white women deserve to be “punished”, an Islamic leader has claimed.

Dr Taj Hargey, imam of the Oxford Islamic Congregation, said race and religion were inextricably linked to the recent spate of grooming rings in which Muslim men have targeted under-age white girls.
Earlier this week seven members of a child sex ring from Oxford were found guilty of forcing under age girls to commit acts of "extreme depravity".
Their victims, aged between 11 and 15, were groomed and plied with alcohol and drugs before being sexually assaulted and forced into prostitution. They targeted "out of control" teenagers.
Dr Hargey said that the case brought shame on the city and the community and is a set back for cross community harmony.
The activities of the Oxford sex ring are “bound up with religion and race” because all the men - though of different nationalities - were Muslim and they “deliberately targeted vulnerable white girls, whom they appeared to regard as 'easy meat', to use one of their revealing, racist phrases”, Dr Hargey said.
That attitude has been promoted by religious leaders, he believes. “On one level, most imams in the UK are simply using their puritanical sermons to promote the wearing of the hijab and even the burka among their female adherents. But the dire result can be the brutish misogyny we see in the Oxford sex ring.”
People tiptoe around the issues and refuse to discuss the problems exposed by the scandals such as those “from Rochdale to Oxford, and Telford to Derby”, he wrote.
In all cases the perpetrators were Muslim men and the victims were under age white girls.
To pretend it is not a problem is the Islamic community is “ideological denial”, Dr Hargey said.

“It goes without saying that every world religion condemns the exploitation and abuse of children and just as there are huge challenges to the social care system and the police, there are clearly challenges for community leaders to make it absolutely clear that this is 100 per cent unacceptable in any circumstances.”

45% of Belgian Prison inmates are Muslims
5000 inmates in Belgian prisons are Muslim. That represents 45% of the prison population. A situation which impose constraints on the prison organisation.

In Forest, the decision has been made to simply no longer serve pork in the meals. 80% of the inmates are Muslim and refuse to eat pork. It has become simpler to no longer provide it on the menu at all rather than create different dishes.

But there are other inconveniences from this large population practising Islam. For example, some inmates refuse to obey female guards because they are women. Or they try and transform some communal areas into places of prayer.

Unfortunately, no pork is served in California prisons either. Also during Ramadan there is a special pre-dawn food packet given to inmates who will not eat breakfast or lunch.

Besides Belgium, the followers of Mohammaddenism have also been reported as being over represented in other prison inmate populations.

For example the UK’s Daily Mail in a January 2012 article stated “Muslims account for three per cent of the UK population, but 12.6 per cent of prison inmates” (Clicky). The article also provides this graphic to support its statement:

Image

Regards the situation across the channel in France, the Washington Post in a April 2008 stated “About 60 to 70 percent of all inmates in the country's prison system are Muslim, according to Muslim leaders, sociologists and researchers, though Muslims make up only about 12 percent of the country's population.”:

In France, Prisons Filled With Muslims

Closer to home the over representation of Mohammaddens in the prison inmate population as this article from 2006 shows, is also a fact in India :

Too many Muslims in prison, Sachar edits this out

It is regrettable that this malaise is being used to support the Mohammadden “grievance manufacturing” industry besides stoking the “victimisation “ narrative rather than being exclusively used to introspect on why in a diverse group of societies, Mohammaddens, disproportionate to their size of the population, are found to be involved in activities that result in prison sentences.

Somethings never change...

From current news Link
“A life sentence in Dubai is in effect 25 years, but prisoners can apply for early release on various grounds. Apart from good conduct, these include learning to recite passages from the Qu`ran or converting to Islam.
From our own past, it seems Link
Early in his reign Shahjahan had appointed a Superintendent of converts to Islam, thus setting up a department for the special purpose of making converts. The one common practice was to make terms with the criminals. The Hindus of the Punjab, Bhimbar, Bhadauri and Sirhind were all offered remission of their sentences provided they accepted the true faith. Thus common criminals were converted to Islam.

Twitter will damn your soul, Saudi cleric says
Mullah Saw The Tweety Bird
I was, therefore, lifted to heights previously unimagined on hearing that the head of Saudi Arabia's religious police has declared that Twitter is an appalling waste of time, mind, and soul.Actually, it's worse than that.As the BBC reports, Sheikh Abdul Latif Abdul Aziz al-Sheikh mused that anyone who uses Twitter "has lost this world and his afterlife."It may well be that the Sheikh's biggest concern is that so many of his people are now enthusiastically posting uncensored thoughts on Twitter. Saudi Arabia is said to be the fastest-growing tweeting nation. However, it's hard to disagree with his ultimate sentiment.Part of the purpose of Twitter is to try to make contact with the world one has lost. One sends out short messages in the hope that someone will notice, someone will hear, and -- in an exalted moment of magic -- someone will reply.Twitter is a cry in the wilderness of the world for contact, attention, and care. It is, indeed, a soul thing.Perhaps that's why so many Saudi Arabians are ululating down its lines. Perhaps they feel their cries in the usual channels are falling on reluctant ears.Still, it's interesting that, by tweeting, one might also lose one's afterlife. It's true that so many of us Thomases and Thomasinas -- who spend our lives mired in the glue of doubt -- are concerned about whether there is an afterlife at all.
Sometimes, it seems as if those that might be up there aren't too concerned about those of us down here. So concerned that, even if there is an afterlife, they might not let us into it.Why, only yesterday I was walking through San Francisco's Union Square when I heard that I was "already condemned."There was a man on a raised stage, a sign next to him reading reading "Jesus: Open Your Heart, Open Your Mind."He was explaining that the fate of unbelievers was that they were going to hell -- which didn't seem terribly open-hearted.I looked around me to see if anyone cared. All I could see were vacant smiles. Well, this was San Francisco.I didn't know what to do. I was momentarily panicked. So I turned to the world and tweeted my alarm.Within seconds, a Twitter follower called Barbara was trying to reassure me. She, too, was concerned that I was going to hell.So she wrote: "No worries, Chris. I'll save you a seat."We've never met, though I know she's a big Nascar fan. But we began a conversation about whether hell would have a bar and whether it would only serve one drink -- fire water.
Suddenly, my soul didn't feel quite so lost. Nor condemned. I wasn't alone.
This didn't stop the man onstage from picking up his guitar and singing about lifting up the lord's name and condemning mine (or something like that).
Just as I was ready to weep again for my fate, ReadWrite blogger Matt Asay tweeted me: "I think people who talk like that don't understand Christianity very well (I say as a devout Christian)."That's why people go on Twitter, dear clerics. For a little salvation.

NYPD Messages to Muslim Informant: ‘Get Pictures’
A New York Police Department detective told a federal judge that he’s seen no evidence that one of his informants brought up the subject of jihad as a way to bait Muslims into making incriminating remarks. But text messages obtained by The Associated Press show otherwise.

...

Rahman told the AP last year that he made about $9,000 over nine months spying widely on friends and others. He said the NYPD encouraged him to use a tactic called “create and capture.” He said it involved creating conversations about jihad or terrorism, then capturing the responses and sending them to the NYPD.

More Afghan women being jailed for 'moral crimes'
The number of Afghan women and girls jailed for "moral crimes" has risen dramatically in the past 18 months, raising concerns that gains in women's rights might be reversed with the withdrawal of most international troops next year, a rights group said Tuesday.

...

The number of females behind bars has jumped by 50 percent since late 2012, it said.

Many women who report rapes to police find themselves arrested for adultery, and many who flee violent abuse or forced marriages are jailed for running away from home, though that is not a crime under Afghan's criminal code, said Phelim Kine, Human Rights Watch's deputy director for Asia.

"The majority of women and girls imprisoned for 'moral crimes' are actually victims themselves," Kine said.

Civil Rights Groups Slam Amendment Targeting Muslim Immigrants
http://thinkprogress.org/security/2013/ ... ?mobile=nc
Civil rights leaders slammed an amendment added to the Senate’s comprehensive immigration reform bill that would subject immigrants from Muslim countries for extra scrutiny.. In defending his amendment during the Senate Judiciary Committee mark-up on Monday, Graham argued for an additional screening from regions of the world “where terrorists operate.”“I mean, it’s pretty clear what I’m trying to do,” Graham said. “I’m trying to make sure that in addition to looking at your criminal background, when you adjust status, that if there are certain parts of the world or countries — like Yemen — that you’re adjusting from, I want to know a little more about you, given the world we live in.”Under the provisions of the amendment, the Secretary of Homeland Security would have the broad authority to target any “alien or alien dependent spouse or child” from any region or country that they deem, in consultation with the Secretary of State, to house threats to the United States for additional scrutiny before becoming citizens. “I’m not dictating that [the Secretaries of Homeland Security and State] have to pick any region or country over the other,” Graham said, attempting to deflect criticisms that the amendment focuses specifically on the Middle East.Graham amendment #3 seems to do little more than revive the failed approach taken by the National Security Entry-Exit Registration System (NSEERS), in which nonimmigrants from countries designated as national security concerns were subject to special screening. NSEERS was widely discredited, as it resulted in unjust racial and ethnic profiling of individuals from mainly Muslim, Arab, Middle Eastern and South Asian communities. While NSEERS resulted in the detention and deportation of thousands of people, it cost $10 million annually and failed to result in any successful counter-terrorism prosecutions. The Department’s Inspector General reported that the program was inefficient and burdensome. There is no reason to believe that the approach in Graham amendment #3 would be any more successful in rooting out national security threats. The Obama administration shuttered most of the NSEER’s functions in 2011, leaving the program indefinitely suspended. Graham’s amendment is less explicit than the NSEERS was, but would still place into law the ability for the government to racially profile potential citizens. During debate, Sen. Dick Durbin (D-IL) suggested that a better system should be based on intelligence and law enforcement concerns rather than nation of origin, a suggestion Graham denied was necessary.Graham’s amendment passed by voice vote and was inserted into the overarching bill with support from Sens. Al Franken (D-MN) and Sheldon Whitehouse (D-RI), who announced they would back the measure. The overarching bill itself was voted out of committee last night, propelling it to the Senate floor where an effort to remove Graham’s language is likely to take shape.

Boston bomb investigators kill Florida man
A Florida man was shot and killed while being questioned by Boston bombing investigators after he lunged at them with a knife, officials have said.

The shooting took place early on Wednesday in Orlando as officials questioned Ibragim Todashev, 27.

...

'Martial arts fighter'

Ibragim Todashev was arrested this month after a row over a parking spot
US media reported that Todashev had known Tamerlan Tsarnaev, the ethnic Chechen Boston bombings suspect killed in a shootout with police days after last month's deadly marathon blasts.

...

In a statement, the FBI said the agent and "two Massachusetts State Police troopers and other law enforcement personnel" had been interviewing Todashev when "a violent confrontation was initiated by the individual".

...

A roommate and friend, Khusen Tamarov, told the Associated Press that Todashev had been wary about being interrogated at a law enforcement office, asking that the questioning take place somewhere else.

"This is the last thing I thought they would do," Mr Tamarov said. "We had nothing to do with this. He had nothing to do with this."

'A regular guy'
He was quoted as saying: "One day they started questioning us, next day after the bombing, not the bombing, after they found out the bombers were Chechnyans, and they started following us, watching us."

...

"He's a regular guy, nothing wrong," Mr Dunkaev said.

The Associated Press news agency meanwhile reports that Todashev was arrested earlier this month on suspicion of assault, after a dispute over a parking spot at an Orlando shopping centre.

Todashev put a man in hospital with facial injuries during the fracas, according to a report from the Orange County Sheriff's Office.

Public records show that Todashev - who was reportedly a mixed-martial arts fighter - lived in Watertown, Massachusetts, just outside Boston, last year.
