Saik saar, where do you think AAP will get seats in TN? I am willing to bet more TNwaasis would vote for Modi and Kejriwal. Disgruntled junta could vote for AAP, however pAAP is not going to get the required "numbers".SaiK wrote:mr gin.. amma will only succumb to number games. if aap gets some numbers in TN, then i'd only blame bjp as a party. they just lack organization to realize the support.
Kejriwal is crazy, and JJ is eccentric. All these leaders are ambitious with giant egos. They will mutually destroy - good for the nation.
I have listened to some JJ's quips in her meetings. One running narration that she promises TN wassis is that she would be part of the Central government. So if Modi and NDA give her room, she will gladly jump into their bed.
These regional leaders might look dumb, but they are smart. They know they are powerful only as long as they hold the regional clout. A few aim for the Sky (the PM post), but will gladly settle for the tree (a CM post or having their party men in some posts in the Central Ministry). The key is staying relevant. If Modi offers them that opportunity, they will not think twice - as most of them don't have any real ideology. Only populism and vote bank politics. If Modi carves out a hug number of Muslim votes, then these regional players will be more than happy to jump into NDA.

..or for all you/we know.. jj-modi eye wink happens only after numbers arrive.
..the other postulation. remember, she said.. modi is my friend.. all the best to him, but i can't answer anything anymore.

Re: Narendra Modi vs the Dynasty: Contrasting Ideas of India
but this has given enough fuel to media to harp about and will be repeated till Cong wins back good amount of seats.kish wrote:Nothing is working for CONgress, they timed it for a friday release to whip-up communal passion. But people are already glued to the TV on Shakti mill gang rape case & the death sentence verdict.Singha wrote:the cobrapost episode also timed to release on Fri - so people can give angry sermons in the afternoon and express their "rage" by rampaging around post prayers.
So, the cobrapost sting turned-out non venomous.
over all i think BJP knows how to prepare well for election... but Cong know how to win elections.

So development is na mulkin for him and his ilk.

Imam Bukari has a very illustrious history. It is said that when Taimur lung attacked Delhi, he killed many captured men, women child (he mady many huge mountain). With his army, there was local Imam from Bukhara, who had not killed a sparrow in his life. His desire was to get this record straighten out. Many captives were lined up and he did halal killing of many of them.

remember he complains about autonomy when the ECI is autonomous. don't understand the fear of citizens to RTI and understand responsibilities. it could be that he is not aware of rules, policies and SOPs, or directly under the influence of current GoI directives.

Re: Narendra Modi vs the Dynasty: Contrasting Ideas of India
TN junta is no more or less fanatic than the junta from other states. Democratic elections are not won by just reason and logic. Emotions play a huge part, and politicians use that. Even in maasa, which would appear all rational/logical for outsiders, people vote on emotions. It is a different issue, after winning the elections, the politicians in maasa used to get together and formulate policies and law for the people. That is an OT.SaiK wrote:and TN waasis are fanatic! enough reasons there for level playing ground for mr. aap-turd.SwamyG wrote:Kejriwal is crazy, and JJ is eccentric. ..

If your point is about TN voting cine artists into the corridors of power, then I can list more celebrities through out the country who are contesting the elections and winning. India still votes based on caste, clan and religion.

Methinks a good template for the decentralized kavi sammelans being chalked out to go along with the upcoming 3D campaign.

MGR is a lipservice to be given on birthdays and deathdays etc...
MGR won't get you much.
JJ is her own votecatcher now.
it is as if your image of TN is frozen in 80s (the time you last spent time there?)
Re: Narendra Modi vs the Dynasty: Contrasting Ideas of India
no.. i interacted with a bunch of hard-core labor force.. that would not think how you project. i'd believe in them, as they are representing the strong lower class / labor class/ and more precisely the larger aam sections of TN.
amma is surviving still on MGR onlee.. nothing more nothing less. things have not changed for grass root workers. the city lads and gals however, are nothing.. the elite class only considers what jj can benefit them, and after that whoever gives into their self-goals, they will vote for them.
ps: can you get a smaller size pic to laugh at?:)

The quote is worth 20% addition to Defense budget and 80 Billion $ annual infrastructure investment equal to adding 2.5 to 3 % annual GDP growth which is now eaten by Congress/UPA corrupt and traitors. India need not beg foreign investment if above is implemented in all honesty. 10 years of Modi will give Indians extra 80x10=800 Billions x2 (growth)=1.6 Trillion to utilize for uplifting the whole country.

It is not Anti-Modi, Western Media has had it in for us for a very long time.IndraD wrote:https://twitter.com/vagabondoc/status/4 ... 81/photo/1
Anti Modi articles galore in West media, what makes them think they should decide whom should we vote?
For those of us with Long memories (and interest in the western press views of India in earlier periods), would recall Neville Maxwell:
The Times (of London) said in the Indian Elections of 1967 (they ran a series of articles called "India's Disintegrating Democracy")
We are still here, and Old Blighty, erstwhile queen of the waves has reduced to a mere shadow of its former self....the crisis is upon India — 'the already fraying fabric of the nation itself', with the states "already beginning to act like sub-nations". His conclusion was unequivocal: that while Indians would soon vote in "the fourth — and surely last — general election", "the great experiment of developing India within a democratic framework has failed".
Strange but from the 1940s to at least the 1960s only The Guardian had a sympathetic view of India.....

Re: Narendra Modi vs the Dynasty: Contrasting Ideas of India
Whoever came up with 'ab ki baar Modi sarkar' meme is a marketing genius. Waves are often characterized by the popularization of a catchy phrase, like Obama's 'change we can believe in' in 2007 . It might help to translate it in a rhyming manner into as many other Indian languages as possible. Please contribute your suggestions.
