this is going beyond fox news levels. hilary said at benghazi hearing "it does not matter how the ambassador died, we have responsibility to investigate blah blah" and fox played it all days as "HILARY DOES NOT CARE ABOUT AMBASSADORS DEATH". good job indian media beating fox at crude and blatant partisan stupidity.

the worst is other news papers picking this up and playing it as per the original mischievous misinterpretation.

Modi never said priyanka is like my daughter.

let's get that straight first before going into theories and what not.

Yeah, he was mentioning that she is a "daughter".. Not sure where this "like my" came into the picture. He was just referring to the role she played.

Very very interesting interview with Amit Shah today in the Hindu - http://www.thehindu.com/elections/loksa ... epage=true

But the regional leaders seem far more vocal in their attacks on Mr. Modi than he is on them. So is it a deliberate attempt to soften up the regional players for post-election tie-ups?

That is not true. He is highlighting the lack of development in every State and targeting everyone responsible. Our target is 272+ for the NDA [National Democratic Alliance]. We are working towards that. There is no other strategy.

What about Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Jayalalithaa? She has suddenly become very vocal. We would have thought she and Modi had a good relationship …

You will find the answer to this question in the election results, even in Tamil Nadu where the BJP’s vote share is rising. I don’t want to say anything else.

We would like you to elaborate on it. Do you mean she is raising her pitch because she feels threatened by Mr. Modi?

I told you I would not say anything more than what I had already said. Let the results come out.
It's stuff like this which make me think these guys are running a very carefully planned and monitored election and post-election campaign. I hope Namo wins and Shah gets some really important ministry.

But but NaMo will lose onlee :((

I wish he focuses on this aspect of the bjp and bolsters its presence in TN and gains a foothold in Kerala and AP

How many seats are you expecting? {In TN and the South in general}

Let me not start counting seats because I haven’t really travelled in southern India. My information is not based on primary sources. I am only telling you what I have learnt from the people who are working on the ground. I can’t cite a figure based on telephonic conversations.

He won't ask, but he must be given. He is the best candidate for home in BJP.

He was home minister in Gujarat and cleaned up house pretty nicely.

If he becomes CM of Gujarat, it will be a loss for India. I want BJP to win again in 2019 and he can make that happen as home minister. Imagine IB, CBI, NIA, CRPF in his hand. He can break the back of Congress so it never rises again.

They are trying to invert the usual innocent until proven guilty. They want Modi to be guilty until proven innocent (proven by western standards, which means the day Modi does GUBO to the west, the proof will be 'suddenly' appear).

Inverting the burden of proof gives into one of shivji's famous descriptions of games goras and sikulars play: "You farted!". There is no proof with the west that Modi is what they claim to be, so they want Modi to now "prove" that he is innocent.

The only way to deal with that is to turn tables on the west. But Modi is not there yet and he must focus on getting the house in order first. These kind of attacks will only increase in the future and will continue on until Modi becomes pliable by the west. So I just hope he does not capitulate, and I also hope that he sets up a counter propaganda news org and a network that reverses the gaze on the west.

Blame it on Dilbu. He is not to be seen, so we have to shiver in his absence.

But on a serious note, I think you were not as invested in 2009 as some of us were, so you haven't gone through the entire cycle of "what, not this again". Plus, the INC is one of the most effective corrupt empires world has ever seen. So there is that as well.

Narendra Modi: India’s Jekyll and Hyde
(Gora Chorra)

The "every action has an equal and opposite reaction" was never uttered by Modi. It was concocted by Manoj Joshi of TOIlet. After they could not produce any proof TOIlet accepted it later. The FarT news regurgitates what the Indian secularists said in the last 10 years and were proved wrong consistently. The assembling of 1000 locals near the train early morning is never mentioned, as it is a give away.
Anyway WTF asked you guys. It is like a broken record.

The next astra of the mahabharat war is getting ready. It is the fake Sankaracharya of puri who is going to be airlifed into Banaras. The communals have to fight this secular chor next. Let us start getting our weapons ready. Varanasi is a symbolic battle that needs to be won. The fake S'charya says
EC should lift the curfew on Azam Khan
RSS is a danger to India
NM is a danger to India
In the mean time Khujliwal has in his manifesto says Varanasi will be made a spiritual city (where High level of spirit will be consumed),for all religions. Basically he is talking about making it more attractive for conversions.

divorce isn't going to make the security issue go away; it should be assumed that Modi's enemies will target anyone related to him, including Jasodaben. She will need constant protection as long as Modi is alive.

its interesting to see certain mutt leaders above being more sickular than sickular, while its their calling and job to be hindu leaders.

you wont ever see this kind of thing from christian or muslim religious leaders...they will stick to the job description and look after their flock only.

Varanasi is truly going to be a circus from next week.....every joker in the pack is heading there....good that Namo will be onsite for 5 days to try and crush the sickulars in the climactic battle.

Modi did not say she was "his" daughter, or "like" his daughter. He has more class and dignity than indulging in such sycophantic presumption of relationship. She said she was saying all those ugly things in her capacity of "a" (i.e., her mother's) daughter. Let's try to keep the facts and their meanings clear.

In Gujarat, Cong nominee gives up even before counting
Party nominee from Jamnagar Lok Sabha constituency Vikram Madam came out in the open during the day to announce that he would lose the election to his niece and BJP nominee Poonam Madam by a margin of some 30, 000 votes. Addressing the media during the day, he asked his supporters not bet on poll results. The counting of votes is scheduled for May 16.

Vikram Madam is a prominent Ahir community leader and the party leadership was betting on his victory. The BJP had, however, made it difficult for him by engineering the defection of his niece Poonam, a sitting Congress legislator, then, ahead of 2012 state Assembly elections.

Sources claim that Poonam’s chances of trouncing her rivals was very strong since she enjoyed the backing of a Jamnagar-based corporate honcho of a leading company of the country.

Vikram Madam told reporters that he was a pragmatic person who did not run away from the reality.

In Wednesday’s polling state wide, the Jamnagar constituency had recorded a polling of 57.42 per cent, almost 5 per cent below the 62 per cent polling recorded in the state. The party had considered the Jamnagar constituency in the Saurashtra region of the state as one of the ‘safer’ seats for the Congress.

Guys, I see that the tension levels are running quite high and understandably so.

Here are some data points to mull over:

*It is defacto admission from the Congoons that the line is about to be breached and thus they are sending the last reserves of the heavy cavalry in as a suicidal charge. The hyperventilation of Priyanka Vadra can only been as such. The Congoons have been keeping PV as a final weapon. That she is being unleashed with abandon only spells that the doom is near.

*Two or three "fires" so conveniently in strategic offices in a week! Come on. The mafiosi are firing up their escape pods.

*Amit Shah is certainly not one who runs off his mouth when it comes to electoral matters. Hell, he has probably forgotten more about booth level politics than all your Diggy Rajas and Mani Shankar Aiyyars would learn in seven lifetimes. Granted, some of AS's bravado can be seen as pure maskirovska to demoralize the Orc hordes and rally the battalions of elite Elven archers but still there must be some substance behind all his posturing?

*Lastly, if you need any further proof, watch carefully NaMo's last 4 or 5 interviews. His body language has undergone a sea change. It is the Aslan the noble creature baring his fangs finally, casting aside any and all hopes of mercy for the fell creatures. He must have some ground level info if he feels this confident! Think about it.

Chillax guys. Don't get upended by every two bit random pimp from the tweeples or rUNdiTV.

Dharma will prevail.

While no one expects that Modi will be sent to jail, it isn't like the BJP's prime ministerial candidate and his party haven't made the most of the fact that elections are being held in widely spaced phases across the country. In fact, each election day over the past month has witnessed a major Modi PR event aimed at dominating news coverage.

On the first day of polling, 7 April, the BJP went ahead with a press conference to release its manifesto. It was the same day that Assam and Tripura went to the polls. Despite the Congress protests, the event was telecast live across television channels.

On 9 April, when states like Mizoram, Manipur and Arunachal Pradesh went to the polls, the BJP prime ministerial candidate filed his nomination in Vadodara after a massive road show in his home state. He did make other headlines the next day when it was revealed that he had acknowleged Jashodaben as his wife for the first time ever in a poll affidavit. It's unlikely though that it was a headline that Modi or the BJP would have really wanted, given the fallout.

On 17 April, when all of Rajasthan, Karnataka, and parts of Maharashtra and Uttar Pradesh went to the polls, the headlines were dominated by a interview that Modi had given to a news agency a day earlier.

And then on 24 April when parts of Maharashtra, including Mumbai, West Bengal, all of Tamil Nadu, Chhattisgarh and Assam went to the polls, the BJP's prime ministerial candidate held a massive road show in Varanasi and filed his nomination. The entire roadshow was telecast live by national television channels even as parts of Uttar Pradesh voted.
