A British Army sniper demonstrates the operating capability of the new Long Range Rifle on the ranges of the Land Warfare Centre in Warminster. The L115A3 Sniper Rifle has an effective range of more than 1 kilometre and fires an 8.59mm bullet which is less likely to be deflected over extremely long ranges. Snipers in the Army, Royal Marines and RAF Regiment are to get the new rifle, providing them with more power, precision and stealth than ever before. The rifle is also equipped with all-weather day and night sights and laser technology, allowing for accurate targeting around the clock.
Nice video of HAROP ( follow-on to Harpy, a.k.a Harpy-2 ).
Tucked into a corner of a presentation by Israel Aerospace Industries marketing vice-president Yair Ramati, at Aero-India's pre-show seminar, was an image of the company's newest lethal UAV (or loitering missile), the Harop or Harpy-2. Turkey reportedly placed the launch order for Harop in 2005 and the system is on offer to India.

* The pilot and NWSO sat on Zvezda K-36DM "zero-zero (zero altitude zero speed)" ejection seats; early Su-24 production had K-36D seats, which lacked the K-36DM's ability to allow either crewman to fire both seats. The pilot was on the left, the NWSO on the right. The control layout was analogue, but the pilot's station had a head-up display (HUD); the cockpit color scheme was the striking turquoise generally used by the Soviets as an ergonomic measure. Both crew members had a stick to permit either to fly the aircraft. The two-piece windscreen was reinforced to tolerate bird strikes. From the side the Su-24 appeared to have a normal clamshell canopy, hydraulically hinging open from the rear, but in fact it had a separate canopy half for each crewmen. The canopy halves were blown off before ejection.

Line of Duty on TimesNow
Mechanised warfare in Rajasthan. India's biggest tank formation in the deserts of Rajasthan.
I think the Line of Duty is a wonderfully produced show and Kudos to Raza and TimesNow Channel and as good as any produced by Discovery - that it covers the Indian armed forces in rich detail is the icing on the cake.
Hope this series comes out in DVD form sometime.
Does anyone have a Listing of all the shows done till date ?
I know Shiv was recording a few episodes - maybe I will have to raid his cellar .

Krishna - I got the last 4. I've got 2 episodes of Submarines and two episodes of counter terror ops. I missed a couple before these. but i intend to get all those that are re-broadcast from now.
By all means raid my liquor cabinet - but since I am doing timed direct to DVD recording on one of those living room DVD recorders - I tend to wait for a DVD to fill up before I finalize it for sharing and viewing. Will probably finalize teh current DVD in a week or so.
Again great vids mate the amount of effort that you have put in is very appreciable....
I especially like the LCA and JF-17 vid most importantly you have not been disrespectful to the JF17 and I think that is a good thing...I also saw your response to one of the stupid paki comments . Mate I personally think us Yindoos should just start ignoring these idiots India is so much more than just paying attention to Pak I mean for all we know Pak might not even exist in its entirety in the very near future...f$%k em they have got it coming what they deserve....
