Imam Putin and Islam’s custodians
One Old Abbu Dead, Enter The New Abbu: Putin's Danda and Pakistan's Anda

After continuing to bomb Yemen for almost a year, Saudi Arabia is now talking about sending ground troops to Syria. The terrorist proxies unleashed on the country in association with Turkey and other members of the US-led cabal since 2011 were obviously not enough. As the armed forces of Syria, with the support of Russia, Iran and Iraq, make minced meat of the proxy terrorists, liberating territories from their barbaric hold, disrupting their oil trade and cutting off their supply lines, the proponents of regime change are gearing up for direct intervention.Does it make sense for Pakistan to pledge its support for a reckless state on a rampage, attacking its neighbours and exporting terrorism across the Muslim world? Is it not clear as daylight that Saudi Arabia is a major sponsor of terrorism and has nothing to do with fighting it?Does it make sense to go on pledging our support even when it is obvious that the Saudis don’t care about our concerns and spurn our sincere efforts at mediation? By attacking their Muslim brothers, aren’t the self proclaimed custodians of Islam inviting threats to the kingdom’s territorial integrity? It is not only immoral but also dangerous for us to make such policy statements.
nterestingly, the Foreign Office document states that ‘Pakistan will continue to pursue a balanced and principles-based approach in its relations with Saudi Arabia, Iran, GCC and other countries in the Middle East.’ To call our position balanced and principles-based is a big bad joke./b]
It would have been balanced if we had said the same things about Iran that we keep reiterating about Saudi Arabia. To make any claims about our policy being principles-based, we should start talking about fighting terrorism with Iran that is helping Syria defeat terrorist proxies, rather than repeated reiteration of the same for Saudi Arabia that is spreading terrorism and attacking one brother Muslim country after another.Contrast this Saudi duplicity with Putin’s Russia which is confronting the bane-on-our-world, the doddering Uncle Sam who refuses to die, head on. The country is at the vanguard of articulating a vision of a world that we all deserve and challenging the fraudulent development paradigm of the US-led empire being shoved down everyone’s throat. In so many ways President Putin is what they call a Hazir Imam, the Imam of the present time, literally a living leader who guides us through this day and age. In the classic tradition of Imams, he’s stood up against tyranny and falsehood. And just as it is befitting for an Imam of our time, he has not inherited his Imamhood but earned it.

Arrest warrant for Imran, Qadri issued
SLAMABAD (Web Desk) – A local court on Wednesday issued arrest warrants for 26 people including Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan and Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) Chief Tahir-ul-Qadri.
As per details, judicial magistrate Waqas Rasheed issued arrest warrants for Irman Khan, Tahirul Qadari, Asad Umar and others for not appearing before the court for the hearing of a case of violation of Section 144 and Amplifier Act during the sit-in in the federal capital in 2014.
Meanwhile, DJ Butt appeared before the court for hearing and submitted his plea of acquittal. However, the court overruled the plea.
Immy, the "believer" in JUSTICE (Insaaf!), ignores the process of justice for TWO YEARS, leaving the magistrate no option but to issue arrest warrants in 2016

Lawmaker Blocks Deal to Sell F-16s to Pakistan

By Gordon Lubold
Feb 10, 2016 5:48 pm ET
WASHINGTON —

………………………….. Sen. Bob Corker (R., Tenn.), chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, told Secretary of State John Kerry in a letter that he couldn’t allow the Obama administration to use taxpayer funds to support the sale of the jets.

He cited attacks by the group known as the Haqqani network, saying the government in Islamabad continues to provide haven to its leaders.

Mr. Corker, who recently returned from his fifth trip to Afghanistan, said the Pakistani government should be welcome to purchase the F-16s with its own money. The planned sale through the State Department’s foreign military sales program, announced last year, aims to reward Pakistan for its efforts against militants.

“I do not want U.S. taxpayer dollars going to support these acquisitions,” Mr. Corker said in an interview. “While we’re spending tremendous amounts of U.S. dollars and certainly tremendous sacrifice in our men and women in uniform and by other agencies, they are working simultaneously to destabilize Afghanistan.”

Mr. Corker said he was using his authority as a committee chairman to object single-handedly to the proposed sale.

“I fully understand that our relationship with Pakistan is both complicated and imperfect,” Mr. Corker wrote in the Feb. 9 letter to Mr. Kerry obtained by The Wall Street Journal. “Cooperation with Pakistan is important and has achieved some of our interests.”

But, he said, Pakistan’s activities are “immensely problematic” and contribute to the notion that Pakistan is a “duplicitous partner, moving sideways rather than forward in resolving regional challenges.”

A spokesman for the Pakistani Embassy in Washington, Nadeem Hotiana, said Pakistan has been engaged in a sustained military campaign against terrorism and called suggestions that the country was contributing to the Haqqani network’s destabilizing role in Afghanistan unfortunate.

“F-16s have proven to be the most potent vehicle for conducting precision strikes against terrorists,” Mr. Hotiana said in an emailed statement. “We understand that the deal has not been blocked but there are reservations regarding the financial aspect. We intend to continue engaging constructively with the U.S. side to address specific concerns,” he added. ……………………………..

US govt seeks $860m for (Bhooka Nanga) Pakistan
WASHINGTON: The Obama administration is seeking $859.8 million for Pakistan in its budget proposals for fiscal 2016-17.
The proposed amount reflects a gradual decrease in US financial assistance to Pakistan.
In 2015-16, the administration sought $917 million while in 2014-15 it sought one billion dollars, which also was a 0.2 per cent decrease from 2013-14.( trying to convey a (wrong) impression that "oxygen support" is slowly being decreased, so the patient can breathe on his own, but doubt that in realty this is ever can be stopped, because the "artificial entity" will never be able to get out of the "hospital" !)
...the administration informed the Congress on Tuesday afternoon that Pakistan “lies at the heart of the US counter-terrorism strategy, the peace process in Afghanistan, nuclear non-proliferation efforts, and economic integration in South and Central Asia”. :((
The document sent to Congress also emphasised the need to continue supporting Pakistan’s efforts to address “its debilitating energy crisis, which remains the highest civilian assistance priority for both the US and Pakistan governments”.

Pakistan’s trade gap broadens to $13.7b
The trade deficit was $564 million higher than reported in the comparative period of the last fiscal year. It almost nullified the $636 million gains that Pakistan had got due to increase in remittances during July-January period of this fiscal year.
“It is worrisome that balance of payments position worsened despite fall in crude oil prices,” said Dr Hafiz Pasha, a former finance minister.
From July through January, exports plunged to $12.1 billion, $2.1 billion or 14.4% less than the receipts in the comparative period of the last fiscal year, reported the PBS. The imports in this period contracted 5.4% to $25.7 billion. The imports were $1.5 billion less than the comparative period.
Dr Pasha said that it was for the first time in the country’s history that the import bill was more than double the export bill. Something is seriously wrong with the economy that the government has to find out, said Dr Pasha.

The interviewer reflected the Muslim's claims and religious stand back to demonstrate the absurdity.

There is a cultural difference between Indians and others in these talk/interview shows.
The Indian usually ends up floundering. Of course reading BRF makes it cleasr that counter arguments are widely known, but there is a cultural hesitancy to rub the other's nose in the sh!t. Too bad.

They don't seem to understand the fundamentals of rhetoric and debate. For a Muslim and a Pakistani to query India's treatment of Muslims is certainly rich. The response should be:

Are you worried about the Sunnis amongst them?
Are you a Shia?
You can't be Baloch?
Muslims in India are probably doing better thans Sikh and Hindus in Pakistan?
Do you include East Pakistan when you say that?
Are Afghans also Hindu that they hate Pakistanis?
Do you accept Osama as a shaheed?

WASHINGTON: The Obama administration has informed Congress that it is committed to improving Pakistan’s precision strike capability, which is seen as a veiled reference to F-16 fighter jets.
In a document released this week, the US administration told US lawmakers that its Foreign Military Funding (FMF) to Pakistan would focus on seven priority areas “identified and agreed to with the government of Pakistan”.These include “precision strike; air mobility and combat search and rescue; counter-improvised explosive device and survivability; battlefield communications; night operations; border security; and maritime security/counter-narcotics in support of counter-terrorism aims.”The document, sent to Congress with the administration’s budget proposals for 2017, identifies these areas as essential to enhancing Pakistan’s counter-insurgency and counter-terrorism capabilities.“F-16s have proven to be the most potent vehicle for conducting precision strikes against terrorists,” said Nadeem Hotiana, a spokesman for the Pakistan Embassy in Washington while explaining why Islamabad needed the fighter jets. The embassy acknowledged that there were “some reservations” in Congress about this sale but the deal was still on.“We understand that the deal has not been blocked. We intend to continue engaging constructively with the US side to address specific concerns,” Mr Hotiana said.On Tuesday, US Secretary of State John Kerry sent his department’s annual budget to Congress, proposing a financial assistance of $859.8 million for Pakistan, including $265 million for military hardware.

ISI trains LeT, Jaish terrorists: Musharraf

ISI trains LeT, Jaish terrorists: Musharraf

Karachi, Feb 11, 2016 (PTI)

Pakistan's former military ruler Pervez Musharraf today said ISI trains LeT and Jaish militants and terror attacks in India will not stop until New Delhi addresses the "core" issue of Kashmir.

"Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) trains Jaish-e- Mohammad (JeM) and Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) terrorists," said Musharraf.

"Pakistan army is not training civilians. Intelligence organisation on our side as well as on your side is involved," he said in an interview to India Today TV.

When asked if he sees any progress in the Indo-Pak peace process, Musharraf said, "Everything will stop if you address the core issue. The unfortunate terrorists acts and the militancy will continue unless we address the core issue. That is what you don't want to do," he said.

"Kashmir continues to arouse sentiments in Pakistan," the 72-year-old former president said as he defended terrorist activities in India.

"Anyone who is fighting in Kashmir is a freedom fighter," he said.
"I don't think we will move forward on the core issue. You don't want. You want to bulldoze us, you want to bully us and you want to dominate us. You only want to talk about issues concern you like terrorism, Mumbai and Pathankot. So I don't feel, core issues are moving forward," he said when asked to comment on Foreign Secretary-level talks that were postponed after Pathankot attack.

Speaking on Pakistani-American terrorist David Headley, who is currently deposing before a Mumbai court in connection with the 26/11 attack case, Musharraf said, "I don't believe anything that Headley had said... Pakistan intelligence should interrogate Headley."

When asked about JeM chief Mesood Azhar, who was involved in two attacks against Musharraf himself, the former military general said, "Anyone who is doing any other act in Pakistan like, I know that he attacks me, is a terrorist certainly. Therefore I call him a terrorist."

"LeT and Hafiz Saeed are not involved in terror activities in Pakistan," he said.
He said India derailed peace process every time and wants to discuss only terrorism.
"You create hysteria in your country against Pakistan. Whenever we try to speak ....You want to bulldoze us to whatever is your point of view.

He also accused India's intelligence agency RAW for carrying out attacks in Pakistan from Afghanistan.

Pakistan 'foils plot to free Daniel Pearl's Killer
Pakistan's military says it foiled a plot to free British-born militant Ahmed Omar Saeed Sheikh, currently on death row for the 2002 murder of Wall Street Journal reporter Daniel Pearl.
Three Islamist militant groups were working together on the plan, said army spokesman Lt General Asim Bajwa.
Six suicide bombers were to be involved in the plot, which was close to being carried out, he said.
Pearl was kidnapped by militants from Karachi and beheaded four months later.
The groups involved in the plot to spring prisoners from Hyderabad Central Jail were al-Qaeda, the Pakistani Taliban, and Lashkar-e-Jhangvi (LEJ), Lt Gen Bajwa said.
Hard to believe this "news", as this triple agent, and one of the mastermind of 9/11 has always been protected by the Deep State
Video images released by the army showed blue plastic barrels filled with explosives, washing machines that had been used to transport arms and ammunition, long lengths of detonating cord and dozens of ball bearings.
The footage also showed several rifles that Bajwa said had been stolen from police in earlier targeted attacks.
"This plan was 90% ready for execution," he said.
Saeed Sheikh, who kidnapped and killed Pearl, is being held (and protected by Deep State )at the jail.

Diplomat slams NYT article blaming Pakistan for Islamic State

Pakistan’s Press Attaché in Washington Nadeem Hotiana, in a letter to the editor of the New York Times, defended the country against recent allegations levelled by US analyst Carlotta Gall in an NYT article.

“The whole world, including American officials and military commanders, is praising Pakistan’s successful military operations in the Federally Administered Tribal Areas. It is strange that Ms. Gall, instead of acknowledging Pakistan’s sincerity, is somehow blaming the country — itself the worst victim of terrorism — for the deteriorating security situation in Afghanistan,” wrote Hotiana in his letter. Cwapistan asking for the World's Sympathy as now the Cwapistani Terrorists are perpetrating terrorism in Cwapistan - an old trait of Cwapistani's of biting the hand that fed them!

“One has to fly really high on wings of imagination to link the escalating violence in Afghanistan with the presence of a few men hiding somewhere in Pakistan,” he added.

Further, Hotiana went on to point out that the analyst’s reference to reports that Pakistan is responsible for the rise of ISIS in the Middle East ignores the increasingly complex regional politics. Likewise, her suggestion that Pakistan was involved in moving 300 Pakistani jihadists to the core of the ISIS fight is far-fetched.

The Pakistani diplomat suggested that putting blame on his country for every ill of the world may rather be construed as yet another attempt to undermine the fledgling reconciliation process in Afghanistan, where Pakistan, together with China and the United States, is trying its best to bring peace to the region.
