Word play by guardian. Bangladeshi infiltrators are being called "Muslim citizens."
No word play
The article insinuates
The Indian government has been accused of illegally deporting Indian Muslims to Bangladesh, prompting fears of an escalating campaign of persecution.

The religious and political aspects of this put aside for a moment, if you please. I'd like to understand the psychology. When the capabilities are so far out of sync with the intentions, how is this rhetoric sustained, instead of being laughed at?
Call it the psychology of grandiosity?
The religion has no doubt primed the individual to welcome and cheer this rhetoric, and has no doubt contributed to the disconnect with reality. Another possibility is that we have to look not at the literal meaning of the words, something else is coded in here.
What I'm trying to get at is - we all know what the religious text says, how it is interpreted. That sets up some basic thought patterns in the person. Those thought patterns make the person receptive to the "we will rule India again" rhetoric and cause a total disconnect with reality. It is as though if you press certain levers in the mind, you can induce craziness. That is what I wish I understood (in part in self-defense, so that the increasingly sophisticated false narrative technology cannot press those levers in my mind.)

India yesterday banned the imports of certain jute products and woven fabrics from Bangladesh through land ports.
However, the products will be allowed to be imported only through Nhava Sheva seaport in Maharashtra, the Directorate General of Foreign Trade said in a notification.

Vayutuvan ji,
This is how the 1000 halal cut technique is performed in true desert cult tradition
No cargo ships are doing this beedi - Nava Sheva port or even the beedi - kolkata port runs, except maybe the rare small time tramp ship that may enter chittagong, or other smaller beedi ports
The beedi cargo has to travel to colombo, and transshipped from there to move onward to either of the above mentioned Indian ports, adding to costs and shipping delays
The GoI has them by the short and curlies ..... ...

Security Concerns May Scrap India's Bangladesh Tour
Source: ANI - Norma Godinho, July 04, 2025
The India tour of Bangladesh, which was scheduled to be held in August, is likely to be cancelled because of the situation prevailing in the country over the last few months, sources in the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) said.
India is supposed to play a three-match ODI series from August 17, which will then be followed by a three-match T20I series, which will begin from August 26.
Speaking about the India tour of Bangladesh, a BCCI source told ANI, "India tour of Bangladesh is likely to be called off as the government has advised the BCCI not to go there as the situation is not ok there. The official announcement regarding this will be made soon."
The tour was meant to be a warm-up for the T20 Asia Cup, which will be hosted by India later this year.
India last travelled to Bangladesh in 2014 when they played three ODIs.
Last year, Bangladesh toured India in a three-match T20I series that the hosts won 3-0 and a two-match Test series which again India swept 2-0.
Earlier, India condemned the demolition of a Durga temple in Dhaka, criticising the role of the Muhammad Yunus-led interim government.
"We understand that extremists were clamouring for the demolition of the Durga temple in Khilkhet, Dhaka. The interim government, instead of providing security to the temple, projected the episode as illegal land use, allowing ... and they allowed the destruction of the temple.

US Built a Base in Bangladesh for Myanmar, India China Reaction, Yunus I Rami N Desai, Aadi
Rami Niranjan Desai claims that the US has a base setup in BD for access into Myanmar even before Sheikh Hasina's ouster. Soros and gang have been doing their gundagiri in BD. After DJT, some things were stopped including visa and US Aid. Deep state arm twisted DJT and is now back in BD and of course Myanmar, the goal is to thwart China and its influence in Myanmar. There is the rare earth angle in Myanmar which china is benefitting. China is also muzzling its way into BD and promising YouAnus all kinds of support by China, including weapons and equipment. India is lagging behind in this powerplay by the big guys. India has some influence built up over the years but has not capitalized such efforts. Myanmar also has the Russians involved. When the big boys are at play the small guy will be compromised and crushed.

Let us not forget about the Rohingyas in Myanmar. These guys are into all kinds of illegal activities drugs, human trafficing, guns, radical stuff, indoctrination of SA Wahabi culture, their leaders are groomed by Pak ISI. The Rohingyas are at odds with Myanmar's Arakan army. The Chin state is christian in Myanmar. The US is trying to create a military corridor in Myanmar, first by shoving in a humanitarian push in BD and Myanmar. Sometime ago DJT had said that he will leave it modi to handle BD. However the deep state has other ideas.
All of this points to a key flaw with '71 BD victory for IG and India. The 93K surrender was not put to any use (by settling the kashmore issue) by India and handing back BD intact to Mujibar Rahman without conditions was a huge mistake. India should have disallowed BD military formation in the new state or better still taken control over Chittagong and parked the Indian Navy. Chicken neck siliguri corridor should be have been adjusted from the relic of British partition norms. An area bounded by brahmaputra and ganga rivers should have been the boundary. India should also have insisted no radical idealogy to be practised in BD.

The concern here is three fold saar:
1. Beedi desh itself
2. Myanmar and further destabilisation there given multiple groups are up in arms against the Tatmadaw
3. More worrisone for us is what is going to happen in the seven little sisters given the Churchadi( a term for church supported militants and drug barons) are involved in all sorts of activities there!!

Maybe it was done on purpose. It is like those annoying ads which you remember far more than run-of-the-mill formulaic ads. Same here. See everybody is talking about the letter's structure, grammar etc. There is only one number that people have to focus on.
What is the tariff on their country?. He could have sent a letter putting just a number in humungous font size and leaving out the % character. They would have understood what that meant. Period.

The Bangladesh government started discussions right after the US declared reciprocal tariff on Bangladeshi products on 2 April. Our chief adviser wrote to the US president where we urged for some concessions. The commerce adviser also spoke to them.
The government even offered duty concessions on certain products that might benefit the US in the annual budget for the 2025-26 fiscal. Apart from that, we continued talks on the non-tariff barriers mentioned by the USA, including complications in investment and implementation of the intellectual property law.
Following all the talks and discussions over the last three months, the imposed reciprocal tariff has come down from 35 per cent from 37 per cent. In other words, we could not yield that much from those discussions and talks.
…
…
…
As part of the tariff discussions, the United States had sent a draft of a framework agreement, but we have no idea what it contained.… The government has stated that the draft agreement included a non-disclosure clause.

My guess is not. But anyone who knows how to read laws, what do you think? Independently of the political/geo-political reasons, just based on the treaty.

The US wants Bangladesh to move away from China. Could this play to India's advantage? Ideally Bangladesh balances between the US and China and falls into neither camp.
https://en.prothomalo.com/business/local/i0tgumlpws
Although there is consensus on trade-related matters, negotiations between Bangladesh and the United States are currently stalled over non-trade issues, including some sensitive topics.
..
This information was gathered from conversations with several business leaders. However, due to a non-disclosure agreement with the United States, government advisers and officials are not commenting publicly on the negotiations.
...
A business leader, requesting anonymity, told Prothom Alo that the discussions with the United States go beyond trade. The US wants to deepen its geopolitical and strategic involvement with Bangladesh, primarily to ensure that Bangladesh does not tilt too far toward China. Washington wants Dhaka to avoid significantly expanding trade relations with China or encouraging Chinese investment.
Sources confirm that among the conditions being discussed are clauses requiring Bangladesh to comply with any sanctions imposed by the United States. This means Bangladesh will have to refrain from trade, business, or investment activities with countries sanctioned by the US. Furthermore, there is a condition that goods granted duty-free access to Bangladesh from the US should not be offered similar benefits to any other country.
Another business leader, also speaking on condition of anonymity, said that the US wants Bangladesh to import military products from the United States and, in return, reduce its military procurement from China.

A_Gupta ji,
What the amrikis desperately want is a "aid corridor" from beedi land to myanmar, as well as, a mulla controlled govt. This "aid corridor" is their cover story, supported by the UN
amrikis have a long history of using the guise of humanitarian aid to deliver weapons and gear to insurgent groups. amriki mercenaries and padres are already very active in manipur and other volatile regions giving the terrorists there BPJs, weapons, cash and comm gear to keep to keep the pot boiling. They have had their greedy eyes on India's NE since before 1947 and this "aid corridor" is the way that they have chosen to pry it loose from India. neverwho helped them all the way be purposely isolating those states from the rest of India to hide what was happening there and also not developing infrastructure in that entire geography so that the gora padres gained the trust of the natives who were handed out trinkets to keep them happy
Post Op Sindoor, there is a hiatus while risks and options are being reassessed. The naughty brahnos will go wherever it's pointy end tells it to
The amrikis armed the mujahideen against soviets and overthrew gaddafi in the same way, and also heard through the SM are inputs that they want to recruit and train rohingya guerrilla fighters. bringing starlink was partly a reason for this as well as it’s a popular tool for insurgent groups to set up effective field headquarters close to the action
Recently, as late as last week, India launched drone attacks into myanmar twice, to strike at terrorist groups inimical to India.
This is why that "aid corridor" is so vital to them. There are several UN agencies mixed up in this enterprise to give it all an air of legitimacy
And at the other end of this "aid corridor" are huge deposits of REE in myanmar, the grand prize the amrikis covet.
This is why the amrikis have been meddling in myanmar all these years, using the UN "aid" agencies to front their dirty work in gabbing the huge REE deposits, like they are doing in ukraine, afghanistan, and balochistan.
That's why the amrikis want the mullahs in charge, so they can easily control them.. using drugs, dollars, rum, and bacchabazi butoxx
The paki army knows the existentialist dangers of such an "aid corridor", as well as, a mulla controlled govt. It will burn the beedis badly and the blowback will leave them stuck in a sorry state like syria and and palestine. the beedi army will bear the brunt of the blowback and it is a useless and very mediocre army, not trained or even possessing the military tradecraft of handling "operations"
This is where the paki jernails come into play

"The United Nations Human Rights Council is set to launch a mission in Bangladesh for a three-year period. The two sides have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to this end.
Foreign Secretary Asad Alam Siam signed the MoU on behalf of Bangladesh, while UN High Commissioner for Human Rights Volker Türk signed on behalf of the United Nations."
We shall see if non-Muslims in Bangladesh are entitled to human rights per the UNHRC. Don't hold your breath.
