This is why he was kidnapped.

The video testimony of David Cameron Headley in an Indian Court corroborated the Indian version of speculation surrounding the 2008 Mumbai attacks because according to the Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) facilitator/terrorist, the ISI orchestrated the whole attack, handling each LeT member from this side of the border.
Lawmakers have 30 days to block the sale, although such action is rare since deals are well-vetted before any formal notification.
India said it was disappointed with the U.S. decision. "We disagree with their rationale that such arms transfers help to combat terrorism," Vikas Swarup, a spokesman for India's Foreign Ministry, said on Twitter
ANI reports that India will be summoning US Ambassador to India regards US aid to the terrorist fomenting Islamic Republic of Pakistan. This is good second step if and when done:

The US seems to be trickle arming Pakistan against India.
Instead of giving them 50 or 100 F-16s and AAMs in one go, which will raise eyebrows, they are transferring these in small batches so as not to alarm India.
The net result is the same.

until USA is alive, it will arm Sunni states against their neighbours. It is now in the blood of US SD DNA. their entire geo-political vision is now centred around using Sunni states to disturb & disorient/destabilize it's neighbours.
John McCain was jumping around with Al-Qaeda, Daesh & Nusra in Syria and he was an emissary of the USA and there was not even the least bit of shame that they had in doing that. They did it openly.
Like a snake is habituated to shed skin periodically, it will keep arming Pakistan and supplying it with F-16s and other arms until they are around. They had also armed Egypt, Jordan, Turkey and other Islamic countries around Israel with the same F-16s.
This is a country with tremendous nuisance value and very very little value for positive purpose in relations.
Just imagine how much the world could have gone ahead, if this country was not the racist cess pit it is and the epitome of which is currently the SD and other rat faces of this country.

No mention that India fielded a B-Class team against the Pakis

Non-PoliticalThe thwarted attack on Hyderabad jail was meant to free Omar Saeed Sheikh, Daniel Pearl's murderer. He called Musharaf to threaten him and Zardari pretending to be an Indian official, all from his jail cell. (self.pakistan)
submitted 3 hours ago by PakistanCicerotulli
One extremely interesting character. Raised in the UK, has a degree from LSE. He was caught trying to kidnap foreigners in India, jailed and then freed after jihadis hijacked an Indian airliner in Afghanistan. It is confirmed alleged that served as the bagman for the 9/11 attacks. Musharaf says in his book that Sheikh was first recruited by the MI6.
In 2002, he murdered Daniel Pearl and handed himself over to the ISI (handler).
While in jail, he called up Gen. Faisal Alvi (commander SSG and an excellent officer) to threaten him. He was killed a few days later. Alvi had warned Mushi of the attack and pointed to some ISI officers as culprits (crime remains unsolved)[1].
In late 2000s, he called the then president Mushi, once again from his jail cell, and threatened to kill him and Kayani [1].
In 2008 following Mumbai attacks, he called Zardari, yet again from his jail cell, pretended to be an Indian minister/diplomat and threaten to invade Pakistan. Zardari believed him and panicked (and in the process precipitated an international crisis) [2].
Usual boasting, as expected in the newspiece
No mention that India fielded a B-Class team against the Pakis
No display of "mardangi" in the stadium, as was done one time ago (for which, I think, they had to apologize later- cant recall the sport)
Also they do not mention that even Sri Lanka has 25 golds compared to Pakistan's 9, leave alone India's 156.

This massive international telecommunications fraud scheme, allegedly led by Noor Aziz, 53, of Karachi, Pakistan, involved unauthorized access to the computer systems – commonly known as PBX systems – that ran the internal telephone networks of numerous businesses and organizations in the United States. Foreign-based hackers targeted the telephone systems of the victim corporations and placed calls to those systems in an attempt to identify unused telephone extensions.
Once the hackers identified unused extensions, they illegally reprogrammed the telephone systems so that they could be used to make unlimited long distance calls, all of which were ultimately charged back to the victim corporations.

US expresses concern about Paki Nukes but the news is more on F16 sale (can operate in all weather)
The United States has expressed its concerns about the security of Pakistan’s nuclear stockpile and tensions between Islamabad and its arch rival New Delhi.
“We’re concerned both about the security of those nuclear weapons, and that’s been a common refrain… in our discussions with Pakistan; but we’re also concerned… about tensions between India and Pakistan in the region,” US State Department’s deputy spokesperson Mark Toner said in response to a question during his daily press briefing.
US approves sale of F-16s to Pakistan
The spokesperson; however, said his country wished for a meaningful dialogue between the two south Asian countries which could help alleviate tensions between them. “We want to see a dialogue between those two countries, clearly, to help alleviate some of those tensions,” Toner said.
The remarks come just two days after the US government approved sale of F-16 fighter jets, built by Lockheed Martin Corp, radar and other equipment in a deal valued at $699 million, to Islamabad.
The F-16s would allow Pakistan’s Air Force to operate in all-weather environments and at night, while improving its self-defence capability and bolstering its ability to conduct counter-insurgency and counter-terrorism operations.
The US announcement had; however, met a cold response from New Delhi, which expressed its ‘disappointment’ over Washington’s decision to notify the sale of F-16 aircraft to Pakistan.
US envoy summoned: India outraged at sale of F-16 jets to Pakistan
“We are disappointed at the decision of the Obama Administration to notify the sale of F-16 aircrafts to Pakistan,” India’s Foreign Ministry spokesperson Vikas Swarup had said in a Twitter message.
India and Pakistan have been arch-rivals since gaining independence from Britain in 1947 and have fought three wars — two of them over Kashmir. The territory is divided between the two countries but claimed in full by both.

Dangerous groups operating within Pakistan: US envoy Richard Verma
MUMBAI: Describing the US' controversial sale of F-16 fighter aircraft to Pakistan as "part of a legacy announcement", American Ambassador to India Richard Verma today said his country expects Islamabad to do "more" on eliminating terror safe havens on its soil.
"Over the years, our equipment (sale) to Pakistan have been a mix of civilian and military equipment. (The latest decision on F-16 aircraft) is part of a legacy announcement," he said during interaction at the CNN Asia Business Forum organised as part of ongoing 'Make in India' week in Mumbai. "The reality is that there are dangerous groups operating within Pakistan," Verma said.
Islamabad needs to act against terror groups operating on its soil, the US envoy maintained. "More action needs to be taken by Pakistan on terror groups. Safe havens need to be eliminated."
Verma's comments came a day after the Obama administration notified the US Congress of its decision to sell eight F-16 fighter jets to Pakistan worth nearly US $700 million.
Lauding the Narendra Modi government, Verma said there has been "substantial progress" in India in the last two years.
Among the challenges before India were those of rapid urbanisation and tackling climate change, he said.
Speaking on the occasion, George Yeo of Kerry Logistics Networks expressed optimism that any future India-China conflict won't get out of control.
"There may be scars of the 1962 war (with China) on Indian psyche but in China it is almost forgotten," Yeo said.
Cheers

So far, there is not TSP connection, but I cannot help but speculate that given that at the very least, this is a huge embarrassment for India, but given so many celebrities, I won't be surprised if this was an out and out Paki operation.

Come, come, lets put a firm lid on putting out conspiracy theories when practically nothing is know besides that there is a fire that has been contained.

With TSP, nothing can be ruled out. There was no conspiarcy theory, just speculating given TSP's history. If this has nothing to do with TSP, thats that.

ISLAMABAD: Car manufacturers in the country have turned down the demand for a reduction in vehicle prices despite a decline in the value of Japanese yen.
The Japanese yen has lost over 5% of its value since the start of the year against the Pakistani rupee in the open market.
Carmakers said the government was collecting 34% in taxes and their cost of production stood at 33% with a 33% profit. “Therefore, we cannot cut car prices,” he said.

Rand-e-stan. Lol.
So some hurriyat people got together with the JNU crowd, and did this sloganeering. This geelani guy was acquited in the parliament attack case and is a JNU guy.
So again there is a nexus between the left and Pakistan, or perhaps a left-china-pakistan axis.
All the left sympathetic media persons have tweeted along the same lines about the JNU incident, as it there is a ringmaster giving directions to them all.
WRT the sale of mil hardware to Pakistan.
It seems that Pakistan is preparing for a war against afghanistan in the next few years. That is why they seek precision ground strike capabilities. They don't have the military poweress to take on any neighbour EXCEPT Afghanistan. It is possible that there will be a 1965/Mujahedeen style taliban irregulars with PA in mufti, backed by PA artillery and PAF attacking the afghan nation.
The Pakistanis are conducting a dry run (with Pathankot and JNU) to try and destabilize India to prevent an overt indian involvement on the side of the afghans. The Pakistanis will try to finish things quickly in say 2-3 weeks.
One more reason why they don't want their fauj to deploy overseas.

That one of the authors of the Bloomberg article, Divya Patil, going by name alone, appears to be a female of Indian Hindu descent, is certainly going to fan the flames in the Islamic Republic of Pakistan of this being an Indian Hindu plot to malign Islam and the Islamic Republic. Article with lots of takleef generating potential.
Meanwhile the US plays the duplicitious game of differentiating between Bad Declared State Sponsor of Terrorism and Good Undeclared State Sponsor of Terrorism and helps the Islamic Republic of Pakistan out of its financial predicament, in large part brought on by the Islamic Republic’s policy of seeking parity with India, by subsidising sales of F-16 fighters to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan under FMS in order to sustain the Islamic Republics financial bankrupting policy of seeking parity with India:

As expected, the International Cricket Council (ICC) calls the Islamic Republic of Pakistan’s and the Pakistan Cricket Board’s (PCB) bluff not to play in the T-20 World Cup in India owing to security fears and warns of imposition of penalties.
The unfortunate part is that the Islamic Republic of Pakistan will now throttle back on bluster, tuck her tail between her legs and inflict us in India with her company. I now earnestly call on the Islamic Republic of Pakistan and the PCB to prove me wrong and actually boycott the T-20 World Cup which will give me the twin pleasure of not being inflicted with their company and thereafter see them getting penalised:
Speaking to Mail Today, a senior ICC official said if so many Pakistani athletes can travel to India and participate in the SAG meet, there is no reason why 20 people can’t be allowed to represent the country at the mega ICC event.
“I don’t really get it. What is this double standards all about? If the Pakistan government can happily allow more than 100 athletes to go and participate in SAG, why can’t some 20 people - players and support staff - be allowed to go and play in the World T20? Are they trying to say that the security threat is cricketer specific? This isn’t a bilateral series and personal issues have no place in an ICC event,” he clarified.

X Posted from the India-US Relations thread.
Lt. Gen. Prakash Katoch (Retd.) in an article in First Post titled “Uncle Sam continues to court Pakistan: The reliability of India-US relations will remain suspect” rightly points out that when it comes to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, the US cannot be trusted by India.
Excerpts:
The decision of the Barack Obama administration to sell eight F-16 Block-52 aircraft to Pakistan worth $699 million in the face of US lawmakers' opposition to the deal over Islamabad's alleged support for terrorist groups, has been most unfortunate. It belies the hope that the US actually wants to upgrade strategic ties with India beyond the money that US firms can make with India opening up to foreign investment in all sectors including defence.
But coming to Washington's love of Islamabad, while Pakistan's terror export has been supported by the US through financial and military aid — no matter how inadvertently — besides ignoring blatant nuclear proliferation by Pakistan (not even interrogating AQ Khan), of significance is the recent statement by James R Clapper, Director US National Agency to the US Senate Committee on Worldwide Threat Assessment of the US Intelligence Committee on 9 February, 2016. While multiple issues including terrorism, weapons of mass destruction and proliferation, and counter-terrorism were covered by him, the 30-page statement devotes just four lines to Pakistan, that too clubbed with India which says:
Relations between Pakistan and India remain tense despite the resumption of a bilateral dialogue in December. Following a terrorist attack in early January on Pathankot Air Force base in India, which New Delhi blames on a Pakistani-based group, India’s engagement with Pakistan will probably hinge in 2016 on Islamabad’s willingness to take action against those in Pakistan linked to the attack.
What more to signify the bias of the Obama administration and US intelligence towards a country that is acknowledged as the mother of terrorism?
From the foregoing, it appears that Obama administration’s interest in India does not go beyond cooperation on the high seas and as long as its interest in Asia-Pacific is secure and cooperation by India is available in the Indian Ocean Region, it does not mind India losing territory along the Himalayas to the China-Pakistan nexus — even if it is at the cost of India’s strategic interests.
Check what Kuldip Nayar is upto on this Shitistani talk show. He says India is at fault in the arms race with pakistan. India should take the initiative in reaching out to Pakistan for arms control and should unilaterally announce a reduction of 10% in its armed forces.
I just cant wait to see this Assh**e finally kick the can and thus cease being clear and present danger to Bharatvarsh.
Another participant Shahid Khan is a dual citizen from USA, is a big time supporter and campaign member of Hillary Clinton and unabashedly takes side of pakistan even when it goes against stated US positions.
