Heavy infighting has erupted among the rats in Eastern Aleppo! this why they are collapsing rapidly.

Russia is planning to sell air defence systems (apparently to take out ISIS or kurdish airforce wala kaanta) to Turkey (which supported ISIS according to Moscow).

by cooperating are they going to bring the dead turks back alive again ? Or is Russia going to switch off their S400s. Turkey has run out of options. SAA is at al bab.

Kerry making ‘unbelievable effort’ to save Syrian rebels from Trump, Russia confirms

https://www.rt.com/news/368425-kerry-sy ... els-trump/
Russian presidential aide Yury Ushakov confirmed that Kerry has intensified contacts with his Russian counterpart, Sergey Lavrov, to discuss the situation in Syria as of late.

“This [effort] could be called unbelievable, in terms that there have never been so many phone calls between the Secretary of State and Russia’s FM which were focused on discussing a single issue – Syria,” he told journalists. Ushakov refrained from commenting on whether there was had been any progress.

According to the Post piece, which cites four unnamed US officials with the knowledge of the situation, Kerry hopes to secure a localized ceasefire in Aleppo by offering to separate members of the so-called moderate opposition from terrorist groups like Jabhat Fatah al-Sham (formerly Al-Nusra Front). The report says that Kerry has brought in other nations, including Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and, at times, Iran, in a bid to seal the deal.

“Officials acknowledge that a frustrated Kerry still has not been given authority by the White House to bring any meaningful pressure to bear against Assad or Russia, placing him in a weak negotiating position. The prospect of Hillary Clinton being elected president gave Kerry some leverage, because she was expected to pursue a more hawkish Syria policy,” Rogin wrote.

Moscow appears to be reluctant to strike any significant deal with the outgoing administration and is waiting for the Trump administration to take power.“We will patiently wait for that team to take their seats and then we are interested in having intensive dialogue with them,” Ushakov said.

Syrian govt forces liberate about 40% of east Aleppo from terrorists – Reconciliation Center

https://www.rt.com/news/368400-east-ale ... liberated/
More than 3,000 civilians have left the eastern part of the besieged Syrian city of Aleppo in the last 24 hours, the Russian Center for Reconciliation said. It later reported that about 40 percent of the militant-held part of the city has been liberated.

Some 3,179 people, including 1,519 children – among them 138 newborn babies – have left Eastern Aleppo through the ‘humanitarian corridors’ set up by Syrian government forces, Russian Reconciliation Center said on Monday.

The center reported that 12 neighborhoods, comprising roughly 40 percent of the territory previously controlled by the militants, have been cleared.

Earlier on Monday, the center reported that to date 10 neighborhoods and more than 3,000 buildings have been cleared of Al-Nusra Front militants. The militants have also been pushed out of al-Qadisiyah, a key Aleppo district.

How many pet sanctuaries, children's hospitals & child specialists were liberated by the SAA in the last few days? Or did the children's hospitals, pet sanctuaries, etc move with the moderate, enlightened Jihadis into Jihadi controlled Aleppo?

Guru's, What could be the possible reason of SA not moving from Palmyra to Al-Sukhna. The terrain seems desert with no habitation and can airpower help in decimating anything that moves in the desert and help SA move to Al-Sukhna and beyond?

There is very limited airpower and nothing on t4 airbase except a half dozen helis...

No resources to protect logistical line from palmyra to sukhanah from inevitable isis interdiction and vbied

They will need a pmu type horde to make a move which needs lot of transport and manpower. So must sitting in palmyra for now.

If you recall taking palmyra itself needed a huge effort

Certain areas like al hulek under joint saa ypg custody. Here is video of joint flags. The guy on left looks like ypg to me...not exactly chums with the other two but reasonably working together...

Also saa and ypg together seem to have captured one azreq village 5km west of al bab...plan seems to be ypg takes west flank of al bab and saa the south

Al masdar

As the Tiger Forces settled in on the northern flank of Aleppo International Highway, other SAA factions engaged in heavy firefights and artillery exchanges with insurgents at the Sheikh Lufti district in the southeastern part of the city.

Here, the Desert Hawks Brigade, Republican Guard, Liwa al-Quds (Jerusalem Brigade) and Liwa al-Baqir (Syrian paramilitary) targeted positions held by Fatah Halab rebel groups. Subsequently, the joint pro-government forces captured about a dozen buildings in the Sheikh Lufti area on Monday after the recent capture of the nearby 'police hill'.

Having read the flags of our fathers book, the initial flag on mt.suribachi was a smaller one. A general down below grabbed that flag and hq ordered a bigger flag be raised as a photo shoot a couple days later. Most or all of the original cast of troops were there though...so that way still accurate

In a long war every country needs its heroes to keep morale up and people united.

The lashkars are dreaming though if their saudi cleric is taken as a brand. He is comfortable at home while his troops slog and die. In iraq gen al saadi of isof is worn and tired in mosul. Pmu leads are touring the front. Tiger , gen saleh and zahreddine are right at the front.
