The Cricket World Cup Thread
Re: The Cricket Thread
if you compare steyn and shane bond delivery motion, bond seems to use his entire back and hips like a 'bow' to develop the extra spring and power for delivery, while steyn is steadier and does not do that. this kind of minor diffs might explain why some are more prone to back injury and some not so - for instance walsh, marshall and ambrose iirc did not suffer serious injury in their careers and neither did kapil dev or glen mcgrath (its another matter that Munna tried to copy mcgrath's motion (still resembles) and got injured, after which he cut down his pace by 10kmph) . dont think a coach can 'teach' it to a bowler, some are just lucky or canny enough to fall into a motion that is sustainable long term and delivers results.

I was about to point that out. That and his landing looks dangerous for the ankles. Hakims here are the best judges to pass opinion on that.Rahul M wrote:varoon aaron lands in the danger area every single time. these things should be rectified in the domestic level and not when a player starts playing for India.

bredatorullah smugly said youngistani raina wouldn't lead india to a win when they were in a bad position against ozzies and would change it to what he has now if he did. when raina played well and we won, bredatorullah changed it

but we will lose this match onlee

everytime TSP plays in Mohali, IAF makes it a point to break the sound barrier over the stadium
I was hoping for a repeat, but MMS may have too sensitive a ear to allow this to happen.

First Tait retires from ODIs, now Ponting as skipper. Nice legacy developing from the India-Aus rivalry

glad to know there are BD citizens who remember and take pride in their own nation, history and culture...it can only be good for us if more and more such people rise to power instead of closet razakars like khaleda zia.

^^^Was in Mohali yesterday....very tight security....and as for IAF, there seems to a no fly zone enforced for the match day.

the IAF will fly if anyone violates the no-fly zone

Circinfo has turned into a Paki outfit. Every single pre-match writeup parrots the Paki viewpoint, detailing the farts by Gul and Misbah. Not a single one about India.
But in a way I guess that's good.
India will lose onlee!
