Photoshop ki jai...

1) first of all, no present aircraft would be able to survive such stresses of coming out of the water at those speed... the wings would be clean sheared off..

2) notice the exhaust... it is far too bright and intense to come from anything except a rocket motor.

3) an actual vertical launch will require a TWR of over 1... and if from water, even higher... so no chance.

4) most conclusively, look at the water around... it is a symmetrical splash that comes when a cylindrical body exits... ie missile. If it were an aircraft, it would be a very different wake.

5) the extra burst after the plane exits the water is typical of a booster being fired... since we don't see a booster being fired up, the only explanation is that this is a missile video. Also, the gas plume will not come from anything but a rocket motor... normal engines don't give out such a plume (contrails are different, and are usually high up, where the temperature differential is large enough).

6) look at the video difference between the aircraft and the video.

This is a cold launch of a ballistic missile if I am not mistaken.

Hello Vishnu Som,

I am really a fan of you now. I saw your coverage on Su-30 action in USA and now on Kargil.

I wish you add few more interview of local people and capture their feelings. Also, a little more detail on the hardship and sacrifice made by our heroes. Few interviews from those who came back alive ... may be I am becoming too demanding. But at any cost we must keep them alive in the heart and soul of India.

A nice video on DRDO's lab DMRL......It's basically some architect's or designer's video showing how the actual building will look like.....But it's amazing...Must watch....

A video where you go inside DRDO's lab CABS.....Amazing video...It gives lot of info about indegenous AEW&CS.....Must watch......

A video on the modernization of Mumbai Police.....

http://ibnlive.in.com/videos/100135/mum ... error.html

I couldn't understand one thing that why did they have to buy M-16. I mean why can't they replace .303 & SLR with INSAS instead of buying these costly weapons. They have bought everything from guns to helmets but what about BPJ's.......they are wearing the same old heavy army style BPJ's.... :(

I dont have to wait for any other reason to simply say both GOI and Mumbai police are the dumbest of all living on this planet.

No idiot display the weaponry of the RR teams and more over the dumbo reporter is telling the strenght and every details of the weapon etc, etc......

Hey dumbo the modernisation if not for deterence against pigs.IT is to hunt down the pigs whoever create unrest.
Now the media is projecting it ,as if we are keeping a deterence posture

No need to display what u r made up of.When time comes hunting down then display what u r made up of. aholes........

Boss chill.

I am sure the Mumbai police will remain the same old sakharams - so what is shown in the video may only be Bollywood style fantasy where what you see is what you see only. Not what you get.

Cross post: One request:

I was planning to include an IAF/IN video clipping (30-60 seconds) on teamworki n our corporate (small team) video .

Can anyone please point me to a reasonable high-res video of Tarang (Dhruv), SuryaKiran or IN (streaming armada), if possible, in public domain. Please send the link on this thread or mail me at D U R V A S A at g m a i l . c 0 m

I have seen a number of videos on Indian military sites, youtube and others, but none of them have decent res or probably I am not searching at a right place :-?
