pressure matches more often than not end up with bowling heroes and not batting heroes. you afterall need just 5 good balls to end up with a 5 wicket haul but may need a lot more balls to make a heroic century. the pakis seem to have better firepower in the bowling dept...makes my dhoti shiver onlee

India will get openers quickly but Razzak will score 72 off 40 balls, while Misbah, Akmal and Yonus will score at decent rate and Pak will end up scoring 285+. India will lose their top 3 in first 15 overs and then it will be wailing and whining all around. As SOP is, Yuvi will flop in his home ground while Dhoni will get out trying a silly shot. Even K.Akmal will hold catches today.

There I did my reverse Jinx...

PS: I am not watching the match today, I am not even checking for score on cricinfo nor visiting cricket dhagga on BRF, I will immerse myself in my work today even if it is time-pass Quality review.

Rameez Raja says the Pakistani team management are not all that confident about Shoaib Akhtar. He says they would want a fitter bowler who can bowl better in the second and third spells and he reckons Akhtar does not fit into the scheme of things. Sanjay Manjrekar adds: I had a chat with Waqar Younis and he confirmed the fact that Akhtar won't feature in today's game.

You mean our bowling attack is Nehra, Pathan together, the same disaster as the SA match?

If it is true this is a setup for India to lose, only our batting can save us now.

This is what is called being genarous Hosts, we need 350 batting first. Zaheer and Harbhajan need to be good form and Munaf, Yuvraj at thier best.

I hope there is a lot of swing for the team bowling second.

perhaps his calculation was pakis are good players of spin esp folks like younis khan who can sit there and play spin all day.

but then looking at nehra it certainly is NOT lee/steyn he is bringing in instead. nehra might crack under pressure and start spraying the ball.

imo if he still wanted nehra, dropping munna in favour of ashwin could have been best option - Munaf will leak 50 runs, get 0 wkts, misfield and gift 10 runs extra and score 1 with the bat

This match is over. I hope Dhoni is sacked from captaincy after this world-cup.

Even if Indian batsmen work hard and score 300, Morons like Nehra & Munna will make sure that 300 is only 220. And they are the worst fielders and worst batsmen to boot.
