Polls From Battleground States
Today, American Principles Project and SPRY Strategies released polling results from ten battleground states: Arizona, Georgia, Iowa, Kentucky, Michigan, Montana, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Texas, and Wisconsin. The states were selected due to their expected competitiveness this November in either the presidential race, a U.S. Senate race, or both.

Terry Schilling, executive director at American Principles Project, released the following statement about the polling results :

It is clear from our polling that the reports of President Trump’s impending electoral doom are greatly exaggerated. While the Trump campaign still has much work to do in defining Joe Biden as a feckless enabler of the worst elements of the radical left, the fundamentals of this race are encouraging. While Trump currently trails in some battlegrounds, he also leads in several states where many political pundits have already written him off.

On hot-button issues, the survey results were also very interesting. Black Lives Matter is very popular, until voters learn what Black Lives Matter actually supports — then it becomes very unpopular. Voters hate the idea of biological males competing against female athletes in women’s sports. They strongly oppose minors being subjected to sex changes or gender conversion therapy. They want to protect kids from online *****, and they want Big Tech companies to allow free speech and free expression on their platforms.

Politicians on both sides of the aisle would be wise to heed these results, as these issues are likely to play a big role in the fall campaign.

'The top-line results are rounded and listed below (click the state links for full reporting):

PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION

Arizona: Biden 49%, Trump 45%
Georgia: Trump 49%, Biden 46%
Iowa: Biden 48%, Trump 46%
Kentucky: Trump 60%. Biden 34%
Michigan: Trump 50%, Biden 45%
Montana: Trump 52%, Biden 42%
North Carolina: Trump 49%, Biden 46%
Pennsylvania: Trump 48%, Biden 47%
Texas: Trump 49%, Biden 45%
Wisconsin: Biden 46%, Trump 45%

It seems that Big Tech is in all out attack against Trump. Practically noone is supporting Trump. Why is that? Are they rooting for cheap Chinese imports so that they can continue earning by using Chinese labour? For instance China may sell goods of USD 700 Billion to USA, but when retailed as Branded Goods, it might sell for 5 Trillion dollars, that's lot of profit involved.

Or there is something else I dont understand? Trump poor chap seems to be all alone.

Believe it or not…. Joe Biden, apparently accidently, enrouranged “jihad” against non-believing Americans
https://www.localnewsonly.com/2020/07/b ... americans/
Former CIA operator Clare M. Lopez parsed Joe Biden’s speech to the “Million Muslim Votes” summit, sponsored by a Muslim Brotherhood operation called Emgage Action, and presents the evidence that, while Biden probably had no idea what he was actually saying, every informed Muslim listening to him understood that he was encouraging them to wage jihad against non-believing Americans.

Eastman Kodak to get $765 million U.S. loan to make drug ingredients
...
The Trump administration has been looking to bolster the ability to produce drugs and their raw materials in the United States after the COVID-19 pandemic exposed the industry’s dependence on China and India for its supply chain.

"This is the beginning of American independence from our pharmaceutical dependence on foreign countries," White House trade adviser Peter Navarro said in an interview with Fox Business network.
...
By the time this thing ramps up, 25% of the (active pharmaceutical ingredients) for generics we need in the United States is going to be right at that facility,” Navarro said in the interview.

Don't know about Google but Twitter is still loss making. They reported $800 plus million in net profit for the March quarter (or June, not sure). But out of that $800 million is deferred tax benefit- a fancy accountting skullduggery. So effectively they still need cash to keep their operations going. That means cash infusion. Chinese would be logical candidates. So the pussyfooting around Chinese sensitivities.

China has Sovereign Fund & Advertisement Budget for its Consumer Good Companies. In fact, in my estimate the "Retail" price of Chinese Exports is USD 10 Trillion, which generates lots of Profit, Advertisements, bribes, political donations etc. For people dealing with Chinese masters err Partners.

Chinese Economic Impact on the World today might be USD 30-40 Trillion every year. And I don't think anyone in the history of mankind has been so aggressive in giving bribes, than Chinese

President Donald Trump seems to have hit a nerve with his Friday executive orders on drug pricing. As drug companies work to battle the pandemic, executives declined to attend a White House meeting today on drug prices, according to media reports.
...
At issue is the president's order linking drug prices in Medicare to lower prices abroad, which the industry argues will import socialist price controls into America’s healthcare :(( :rotfl: system. Trump on Friday gave the industry a month to propose an alternative, but a spokeswoman for industry trade group PhRMA told Fierce Pharma the industry's "sole focus is figuring out a way to beat COVID-19."
Now we know who was behind Ms. Khobragade incident.

You forgot to add Italy. After their multiple economic crisis, the Italian design houses of retail goods such as furniture and clothing had heavy Chinese investment. There is Chinese furniture, particularly leather, which looks and functions better than Italian furniture. Now Chinese influence on the French, I don't know, but it has been rapidly increasing in recent years.

I have been reading an interesting American thinker named Mencius Moldbug (real name: Curtis Yarvin; Jewish guy ofc). This is the guy who created the term "red pill" to mean "waking up from the Western left matrix", a term which has gone viral since then. His main philosophy is how does America actually *work*?? "in China, the state controls the media. In America, the media controls the state." There are many many more red pills like this that he dispenses- not least of which he debunks the Western narrative of WW2 entirely.

Here is a fantastic discussion between him and Henok Elias, a young Ethiopian Orthodox guy of the Haile Selassie type. They discuss Western foreign policy setting the world on fire, how the West sponsors communist movements along with EJ movements, how native elites of countries bred intelligence into the "ruling caste", and how they were co opted and destroyed by the West.

More on the Microsoft-tiktok dance.

Microsoft confirms talks to buy TikTok in U.S., aims to finish deal by Sept. 15
Microsoft on Sunday confirmed that it has held talks with Chinese technology company ByteDance to acquire its trendy social app TikTok in the U.S. Microsoft said in a statement that it will keep working with the U.S. government on a deal and that it intends to conclude talks by September 15.
All the talk of concluding in Sept (before the Nov elections) should raise some eyebrows.

Meanwhile,

TikTok’s Chinese owner ByteDance ‘prefers independent spin-off over Microsoft sale’ as Donald Trump threatens ban
But the source said that despite reports that the video-sharing platform would be taken over by Microsoft, ByteDance founder Zhang Yiming and investors were reluctant to sell to the US company.
Should be interesting to watch this unfold.

Most likely less to with protecting its access China. TikTok is a very popular platform and all popular platforms around the world must stay in total control u no hu? Indians ban the app. Ungle threatens to ban, with an eye on forcing it to let it be taken over.

Now coming to the meat of the discussion (and the objective of this dhaaga)

However, many investors are skeptical of an IPO. The company might not be worth its lofty valuation. ByteDance is an investment unicorn and one of the highest-valued startups in the world. Private investors have valued it at as much as $78 billion. That’s steep, and there are other concerns ByteDance needs to address before an IPO.

And yet Trump is at his bottom in terms of ratings and the democratic party has adopted a far left position that speaks of defunding the police when Gallup polls clearly show that nearly 80% population don't support the idea.

However, what they do favour is reforming the police.

Down at $400 Billion Pension Fund
By Reuters, Aug. 6, 2020

(Reuters) - The investment chief of CalPERS, Yu Ben Meng, has resigned effective immediately, the largest public U.S. pension fund said on Wednesday, amid pressure from the Trump administration to curb investments in China.
Dan Bienvenue, deputy chief investment officer at the California Public Employees' Retirement System (CalPERS), will become interim chief investment officer, the $400 billion fund said in a statement, adding it will begin an immediate search for a permanent successor.
A U.S. citizen born in China, Meng has twice worked for CalPERS, the first time starting in 2008 and the second time beginning in January 2019 when he became CIO, according to the CalPERS website.
In between the CalPERS stints, Meng worked for three years as deputy CIO with China’s State Administration of Foreign Exchange (SAFE), which oversees China’s U.S. Treasury security holdings. Meng cited the need to focus on health and family in the statement, released late on Wednesday. But the resignation comes amid growing pressure on U.S. funds to divest from Chinese companies. Last month, White House Officials pressed the U.S. Railroad Retirement Board, the federally administered retirement plan for railroad workers, to avoid investments in Chinese companies, which may be hit with sanctions.

Trump signs executive order banning TikTok in 45 days

TikTok has denied that it stores data in China and maintains that the CCP have never requested data from the social media company.

President Trump issued an executive order Thursday night that would see the social media platform TikTok banned within 45 days.

TikTok is a video sharing mobile application, owned by ByteDance Ltd., that the Trump administration has deemed a national security threat on the basis that the app has been gathering data that could potentially be shared with the government of China.

“TikTok automatically gathers vast swaths of information from its users, including internet and other network activity information such as location data and browsing and search history,” the executive order said.

TRUMP CLAIMS MICROSOFT, OTHER TIKTOK SUITORS AGREED TO 'BIG PAYMENT' TO US TREASURY

“This data threatens to allow the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) access to Americans’ personal and propietrary information – potentially allowing China to track the locations of Federal employees and contractors, build dossiers of personal information and blackmail, and conduct corporate espionage.”

Trump’s pick for German ambassador called Muslim refugees ‘invaders’
https://forward.com/fast-forward/452205 ... -invaders/
Retired U.S. Army Colonel Douglas MacGregor, a frequent guest on Fox News and other conservative talk shows, has a history of racist and xenophobic comments that has prompted Jewish groups to voice their concern about the possibility that he will become the United States’ ambassador to Germany.

The White House announced MacGregors nomination last week, touting his media appearances and influence, not just with the U.S. army, but the IDF as well, as qualifications.

“He is a frequent radio and television commentator on national security affairs and his writings on military affairs have been influential in the transformation of United States ground forces, NATO, and the Israeli Defense Force,” said the press release.

In those appearances however, MacGregor has repeatedly disparaged Muslims, immigrants and asylum seekers among other groups.

“They’re coming to benefit, to consume and to establish themselves, inside other people’s countries with the goal of eventually turning Europe into an Islamic state,” MacGregor said about immigration to Europe from Muslim-majority countries, in a 2016 appearance on the Michael Ostrolenk Show.

In a 2018, appearance on radio show called Conservative Commando he referred to Germany’s refugee population as “millions of unwanted Muslim invaders.”

If confirmed by the Senate, he would represent the U.S. to a country whose population includes nearly 5 million Muslims.

There's probably not much doubt on DT's part. It's the rest. Hopefully, DT riles up his supporters which in turn will bend arms of local political entities. One of the key requirements is to go away from disposable culture to reel in chinese and to also save environment but US corporations won't allow that common sense to sink in.
